Why Ted Cruz Would Joke About Beto O’Rourke Banning Barbecue | Eater

"A Laredo-based Tex-Mex chain cited as a standout, relatable restaurant that the candidate stopped at while visiting all 254 counties, representing the importance of regional Tex-Mex cuisine and small-town eateries in the campaign's efforts to connect with a breadth of Texas food cultures." - Meghan McCarron

Fantastic Mexican food chain! I've been coming here all my life, and I've rarely had a bad experience. The food is consistently awesome, and it's definitely authentic. Their tacos are some of the best in town. The pirata is a fan favorite, containing beans, cheese, and fajita. Most tacos usually come stuffed enough for you to split into two (be sure to ask for extra tortillas). They have free chips and salsa available, and the salsa bar has a wide selection. My personal favorite has always been the green salsa. The fajita is very tender, and the cheddar they use adds nice flavors to their tacos (if it contains cheese). There's a playground outside that's good for little kids, so it's a nice place to bring the whole family. The pricing is just a tad more expensive than most taco joints in Laredo but considerably less expensive than a more central city like Austin, and they're worth it. All the Laredo locations are equally awesome, and I definitely recommend any of them!

Excellent place to try out real mexican tacos. You can asked for individual tacos or in combo which includes 4 tacos and a little bowl with beans. The meat flavor is really good. I highly recommend the Sirloin and Pastor tacos. One of the best thing about this place is the sauces bar, they have a good variety of them and all of them are extremely good, moreover you can get chips for free which go amazing with these sauces. Service is fast, place is clean, prices are accessible, and it's one of the few places that closes at late night, so it's a perfect place to stop by after a party night.

Maybe they were having an off day - but neither of two pork adobado tacos I ordered were good. In all fairness - my chicken fajita taco was spot-on. I guess 1 good taco out of 3 may not be bad for some people... But I won't be ordering the adobado tacos from there again anytime soon.

Pues que pocita carne... 🤨 They use to serve plenty of beef fajitas on the Panchos and there's so little and it almost looks like ground beef, carne molida. 😡 Did I get gypped or are you all serving very little meat now? If so, then no need to return to any of your stores anymore. 😒

Wow so not a chicken fajita where's the Veggies.. $5 for just chicken. Really? I think I'll go to the grocery store and get a rotisserie for that and make my own. Smh 🤦‍♀️ so not worth getting the chicken fajita

I ordered a pirata Jr taco combo with sour cream. Price was good and food was great. Tacos were tasty and I enjoyed the refried beans. Service was fast and accurate. I would go back to this location. I love when a restaurant actually gets the order correct.

Review Asaurus

I like many people was just visiting the area and wanted to try some local food primarily tacos before I left. So I gave this location to and they didn't disappoint. The food was so tasty. The reviews had me a little hesitant but I'm glad I gave them a try. I don't speak a word of Spanish. But they were still friendly and serve me the most delicious food. One thing I had had only Chicken in it which I was a little surprised at first. But the chicken was so flavorful. I definitely enjoyed it. If I was to critique the worst thing about my visit I'd say that due to the place's small size.. the entrance to the bathroom is a little close to the front doors. So there was a bathroom scent -not a bad one..detectable on walking in. That's the only thing I could think that anyone would find negative about that evening. It was busy and I was still served my food as quick as I expected. By friendly appearing people who returned my smile. My thanks I'll stop back next time I'm in town.
