I enjoyed this place with my family we have a vegan and a gluten free person and Taco Pedaler offers all of those options. We tried the house made tofu soyrizo and the pinto beans tacos. The soyrizo is essentially tofu with some spices- not like the red soyrizo from Trader Joe’s. The tacos themselves weren’t bad but a little plain. You’re going to want to get the salsas to spice them up. They have outdoor and indoor seating which is great for summertime!

This place is all around a great, wholesome and wonderful experience!! The tacos are DELICIOUS! The staff is sooo friendly and sweet, Charlie was super welcoming & really made me feel at home. The atmosphere is so colorful, quaint & wholesome. I will DEFINITELY be spending summers here drinking margaritas and eating tacos during happy hour for cute date nights!!

Some of the tastiest tacos we've had in awhile! We happened to go in during happy hour and were able to enjoy $2 bottled beers and $1 off each Taco! Definitely recommend the chorizo Verde, carne asada, and fish tacos. I cannot wait to go back next time we're even remotely nearby, we may just have to plan a trip to Portland sooner than expected because it was that good! Excellent service as well, we just missed the rush so everything was ready swiftly and then we chatted with the manager for quite awhile. Perfect end to our weekend!

The tacos here are amazing a burst of flavor town in your mouth. Everything is so fresh it’s made in house. I dream of it every night. The burritos are big and thick baby torso size. The staff is gold star worthy everyone here is so cute. Don’t walk RUN to Taco Peddler!!!

The BEST taco place around Portland, hands down - homemade tortillas, actual street style tacos, and all the meats are cooked and seasoned to perfection every time! I can't even pick the best meat here like every single other taco place - carnitas is generally my go-to, but their chicken is cooked to perfection where it has the perfect char yet melts in your mouth... This is the only place I order tacos with chicken. Combined with the great staff, chill atmosphere, and the option of all the homemade salsas and sauces just make this place extra special and so satisfying every time. When I'm missing central America, this place hits the spot every time (and when I'm in central America, sometimes I miss these tacos!!). The food even suits my gluten free, dairy free, and low fodmap diet. But seriously, everything down to the beans and rice... There's something special about this place and food that will keep me a fan forever! I highly, highly suggest this place. Keep it up Taco Pedaler crew!!! I come here specifically for the homemade soyrizo burrito. It’s so good The service is friendly too. The tall kid is super nice. Good service is underrated in Portland. Dog friendly too, and they were nice enough to point out that none of the meat should be given to dogs because of the spices.

Great food! Love me some tacos, overall a great experience. Not quite authentic but I did like the potato taco and empanada-like thing. Salsas lacking in awesome/ interesting flavor.

My dudes, this is such a lil gem. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. The people are nice, and the digs are cute. I mean, what else do you want?? Look at these tacos!

Food: I very much enjoyed the vegetarian huevos rancheros. I have a love/hate relationship with beans so I ordered 75/25 rice/beans. The serving size was perfect! Not too big, not too small. Service: Our server was super nice and sweet. Ambiance: Love it! Small and cozy inside. And they have outdoor seating and that's where we ended up seating. Definitely coming back here..

What an odd combination of wonderful and awful. We started with a margarita, which was unique and awesome, extra sour, decent tequila. Next, we got the rice and beans that came with our fish taco plate orders. Lots of flavor in these beans, we gobbled them up! Now, we were ready for great Baja style fish tacos... fresh rockfish being an ok substitute for mahi mahi, shredded red cabbage, pickles and cotija or queso blanco dressing... YUM... But, these were anything but that. I suppose the tortillas and cabbage were ok, but the fish was RANK! It was so bad, I thought we'd get sick if we ate it. We never return food..., but I had to. The guy working the stand by himself was nice enough but shocked that we thought rockfish that "we bought and battered just 3 days ago" wasn't to our liking. Three days for rockfish? Oh no. You might get away with that with fresh snapper, but rockfish starts off a bit strong and is repulsive if left in the fridge for 3 days. Further, the sad, turd-shaped (no, I'm serious, just like Mr. Hanky...) fish stick in each taco was not only rubbery and old but tiny. Not the chunks of lightly tempura battered fresh fish we expected. So, we got him to replace them with beef. This was not pastor, but more like a dry shredded beef. It was at least safe to eat, but SO dry. We finished a third between us. And, guess what? The price... OMG... $70? WHAT.A.RIPOFF.

This ambiance was amazing & so authentic! The food was delicious & loved every bite!!! I can't wait to go back!

New ownership has really turned this place around. Breakfast burrito all day is the way it should be everywhere. Great little neighborhood hang.

I've dropped in from time to time over the years, and I was always disappointed. So I never returned inside of 2 years. Today I was hungry. Working with mud on walls. So I decided to brave it again. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I even asked the manager what changed. A new manager with a clear vision and an insistence on adhering to the recipes!!! I had the beef tacos and a Mexican coke. It reminded me of a long-gone restaurant I used to go to. I couldn't believe how good this is now! Broadway is about to be majorly disrupted by a paving project. I'm going to selfishly ask all of our to help them and give it a try. Selfish, because I can walk down here after a hard day. They also serve alcoholic drinks.

A veggie burrito at the taco peddler is basically rice and beans in a tortilla. No lettuce cheese no onions or peppers. No flavor really. I got some guacamole for two dollars more and there was a tiny bit. At $16 it felt like a very unsatisfying lunch. Every bite tasted the same and it's a cute place. Very neighborhood. With picnic tables outside. Very Portland vibe. But $16 at chipotle will get you a whole lot more. I would rather support a local business. But it needs to offer a little bit better food.

Under new management, although my first time here. I came almost as they opened. I had a great breakfast, pretty good Mexican flavors, for a good price. I ordered the 2 breakfast tacos, vegetarian. I expected (ok hoped) for a bit more cheese, but I was reminded of a trip to Mexico City where cheese isn't considered a food group. Not a problem. Flavors were good, service was great. I had their homemade horchata - and it was excellent! Seating inside is sparce, but available. I'm guessing in the spring and summer the outside tables are a must. The inside is on the old, quirky, Portland-vibe side - but clean.

I stopped in yesterday around noon for a quick lunch. ordered a couple of spicy chorizo street tacos and Jarritos soda. The restaurant wasn't too busy, I was served relatively quickly. Ambience in the restaurant is fine for what it is, a very small storefront and the service person was very pleasant. Had to knock down a couple of stars because the chorizo, while flavorful, was very hard. like old chorizo. Other than that, the Mexican cheese and the tortillas were very nice. I think I'm going to try and come back here one more time and see if maybe it was just a fluke but this one particular dining experience was only so so.

Breakfast burrito was super good! Chorizo Verde was super flavorful, good tortilla and other components. Fresh salsas were great. An expensive bfast burrito at $17, I was expecting a bit bigger size. However, the ingredients were clearly quality. Friendly service and cool restaurant!

This little spot is off the hook! Super friendly staff, beyond amazing food. I tried the pork 'Dilla and the Baja fish taco. The dilla is more of an empanada experience but FULL of fantastic fresh local ingredients. The fish taco hit ALL of the classic crunchy cabbage, sweet fruity pico, and creamy aspects that I love about fish tacos. My partner had the chicken salad Fresca. They took the time to crisp up the shedded chicken... next level stuff that shows they care and take pride in providing excellent food at a very reasonable price! In a town where there's Mexican restaurants on every other street, Taco Peddler has done an amazing job of taking the path less traveled! Well worth my 30 min drive from deep SW. please give them a try, tell me I'm wrong about how great this place is!

as a Texan, I'm cautious of Mexican or "Tex mex" outside of a few states, however this was phenomenal. Bobby's customer service was absolutely top notch. the food was great, the salsa is delicious, the drinks are strong and SO GOOD 10/10. to top it all of the restaurant is SO CUTE.

Look. Location: Cute Building and decor: Cute Girl behind register: Cute Even the teeny tiny salsa container: Cute I mean, I ordered chips and salsa. How can I even fit a full size chip into the smallest of containers of salsa? I went back THREE times to get more salsa. Why put me through that? My street tacos, I felt were rather "clandestine", I'm sticking with that word for artistic value. Margarita was fine. The value for my money was: Cute, real cute

5-12-2025 Just finished a Pedaler Beef Burrito from here and had to comment. It was the best Burrito I have had in many years much better than anyone else here in portland. High Quality Food and a Big Burrito. Thanks Taco Pedaler.

Incredibly Mid. The size of tacos is good and full but they only give you one dry tortilla each, and the flavors are very bland. I would say these are tacos for white folks but even some white folks use salt. they were listening regaee -and then country- so the vibes were quite off. The hot sauces were decent and the flavor savior for sure. The house margarita was too tart but not the worst ive had. Most likely wont be returning.

The only good thing here was the Horchata. Loved it. However, the food I received was just straight up gross. Crusty old taquitos with crunchy rice. It was fairly expensive food, so for it to be this inedible was honestly pretty frustrating. On top of this, the register clerk/bartender/waiter had a major attitude for seemingly no reason. An old man was celebrating his birthday with his wife at the table next to us (not being loud or anything, I just happened to overhear) and the waiter was super rude. The man simply asked if the exterior had been redone and the waiter really snapped at him over it. It bums me out because this place is right next to my new house, but I don't think I'll ever be coming here again.

Gentrified Mexican food with prices starting at the low price of $15 for something inauthentic. Support real migrants who bring more than new ownership to the table. Most good Mexican food is out of a truck because places like this are not allowing space for the actual culture they're culture vulture-ing off of.

Came for a lighter bite. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I ended up on a cup of pozole and a small salad with pork. The pozole was perfectly filled with spice and creamy hominy. The salad had good flavors, but I didn't realize the pork would be carnitas style and found it to be a bit too salty.

We are writing this review not to put this establishment down but we would like them to do better if they like to stay in business. We ordered carnitas burrito, two chorizo taco's, chips and 1 margarita. We find the food too pricey for $43... we are expecting a flavorful meal but we are disappointed. The taco's tortilla served cold and tastes like a raw flour... chorizo was just fried and no hint of a chorizo taste... Burrito was flat.. the margarita was just sour... The place was empty and we are the only customer inside, there were two people ordered to go and we waited more than 30mins for the food to be served! We love support locals... and we hope they can do better next time.

I was hoping this restaurant would be one of those hole-in-the-wall surprises where the food makes up for the dingy atmosphere and counter service. Unfortunately, I was wrong on all counts. The food was overpriced for the portion size and taste. I ordered chicken tacos with rice and beans. The chicken tasted like leftover bar food. It was shredded chicken fried in a skilled. The beans seemed reheated in the microwave. The canteen of ice water, which I poured myself, was right next to the garbage can. Yuck! It seemed like the most unsanitary location for fresh water. The only highlight of my lunch was sitting outside on a sunny day. If you have the taste for Mexican food and you're on Broadway, I suggest Cha Cha Cha instead, just down the road on the corner of 27th.

Would be a 5 star because the food is great. However, I have ordered delivery several times only to have them cancel it after about 15 mins. Please don't be on the apps if you don't have the capacity/time to make the order. This has happened to me on weekends and weeknights, so it's clearly not an issue of being too busy but rather, poor planning.

On a bright and sunny February day, Taco Pedaler's tacos & margaritas plus outside seating stopped me in my tracks. Tacos and a margarita? Yes, please! I've been here many times since I used to live in this neighborhood. The tacos are good, not the best in a town with lots of taco options. They are a little bland for my taste, but when I'm running errands on NE Broadway and I have a craving, Especially on a sunny day, I stop in. The tortillas are hand pressed, very tasty, you can tell the difference. My choice for taco filling is the carnitas and/or the chicken. I ask for extra cilantro, chopped onions and lime to add more flavor, pus the red salsa. Pricier than most at $3.50 a taco, that's to be expected when a favorite food cart has to pay the steep rent for a brick and mortar spot. Go on Tuesday for $2.00 tacos all day! The margaritas are good and it's usually the combo that brings me here. For those days when you are craving a taco and it's the first sunny day and you want a margarita along with, Taco Pedler hits the mark. $9 for a legit margarita; a $1 off during Happy Hour.

Ask for a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was probably the worst breakfast burrito I had in my life, this is not authentic Mexican food

I love this place and the flavors are just great. Any opportunity I have I stop to eat. However today was a real disappointment. Our food was COLD, imagine the cold tortillas with cold taco fillings in it. It's unfortunate I won't be coming back in the near future. It was gross eating cold.

Everything tasted good but the real star was the Dilla They're like empanadas and tasted delicious!! If you try anything, try that. Rumchata (sorry, no pic) was good too. Only need one because it was delicious and strong.

I am always seeking some good vegetarian tacos. I'm not a, "pile a bunch of grilled veggies on it" taco person. I LOVED the hand pressed corn quesadilla with cheese and I also got the soyrizo one to try. I liked it a lot as well. I really enjoyed the side of pinto beans. They use good quality ingredients and it really shows. My new favorite taco spot!

LOVE Taco Pedaler! This is a neighborhood favorite for me and my favorite burrito in town! Their burritos are perfectly filling and light at the same time. The cabbage pair with their cilantro creme really sets these burritos apart from others. The veggie breakfast burrito also does not disappoint and its my FAVORITE IN TOWN.

I wandered into this place on Margarita Day. Who comes up with these days?! Either way, they happened to have some create your own margs. I went with a Hibscus with a pineapple/serrano infusion and my lady went with mango and jalapeño. The tacos were also delicious. I smashed through a couple carnitas and a fish. It's a small place but I hit it not too crowded and it was a great lunch spot. I'd definitely go back!

I really enjoyed the tacos here!!! The chicken, beef and pork are all good! Nice tender shredded meat with cilantro and cabbage with a touch of queso fresca on hand rolled tortillas, yum yum. Simple but delicious! The spicy crema makes the perfect topping for them all! If you have it You don't even need the salsa verde or red salsa ( has a depth of flavor like tomato paste) but red paired well with the spicy crema. We got more tacos to go for dinner lol

I had fish tacos and they were delicious. The came out really fast, they were very hot, crunchy and the tortillas house made. The aqua fresca was delicious. The staff were great I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday morning, looking for a good breakfast burrito... They did NOT disappoint! When I tell you this burrito was massive, I'm talking heft! It was chock-full of every savory, crunchy, melty meaty Item you'd expect in a breakfast burrito. Scrambled eggs, tater tots, sausage, cheese... and THEN they raise the bar by adding caramelized onions, delicious green chili and poblano-infused crema. All wrapped up in a flour tortilla. My husband and I couldn't see eating a whole one by ourselves, so we cut one of the 2 we bought in half and shared it. I'm so glad we did. We were excited that we had a second one for later...it was that good! Although our visit was brief, due to walking in and ordering "to go" from the bar, the restaurant ambiance was quaint and clean and our server was kind, friendly and greeted us warmly. The chefs prepared and packaged everything with care. We could taste the massive love in their food. There are few burritos that can top this in my book and the ones that do aren't located in Oregon. Go get one, you won't regret it!

Their food is rather bland and mediocre. It's one of those "I'm desperate for food and am getting hangry but don't want to spend too much money and am too tired to cook/am out of groceries" places. Also, in the picture below, if you ask for horchata with no ice, this is all they will give you; a half-empty cup. I asked the guy (not the rude dark-haired brunette who gave this to me) to fill it to the top and he did, thankfully. So you're paying for half ice, half horchata unless you stand your ground and don't ask the rude dark haired woman.

Burrito bowls FTW! This place has become a part of my weekend morning dog walk routine, as it's one of the few neighborhood spots with outside tables that allow me to sit with the pooch while I chow down. As a result, I've explored their breakfast/brunch menu, and I'm a fan. Especially of those dang burrito bowls. Green chili scrambled eggs, potatoes, onion, cheese, and meat (i get chorizo), plus I add the guac and rice. I get the medium salsa and it comes with a side of pico. This is a pretty perfect morning meal, and it's not such a huge portion to leave me feeling gross. Still pretty high-price for what it is, but since when did I start making wise financial decisions? Plus, it allows for breakfast dates with my favorite little puppers, so that's worth a couple of extra dollars.

John Michael served us and he was incredibly welcoming and very nice. This place has some of the best tacos and and quesadillas that I have EVER had in Portland. Like I honestly don't even see myself going anywhere else for tacos. And I'm dead serious.

This was a all around bad experience. From walking in I felt crowded. To the rushed experience of ordering. The people taking my order were rude and seemed mad that I asked a question. When we received our food the chips all were broken and seemed like the bottom of the bag. The food was bland and the meat was dry. The fish was really fishy. The hot sauce was not hot. With so many good taco places I would never go back. I hope I don't get food poisoning.

Pork Dilla add guac is exceptional, but a tad small for the price. Fish taco left something to be desired. Cocktails are super on point. Would give 3 and a half stars, if possible.

I normally don't ever write reviews, but I feel so bothered by this companies lack of customer service that I feel the need to say something. I reached out for catering back in February, within a week, I received a response explains prices and food choices, asking to confirm our choices. This was the only positive interaction I had. From there I responded with our choices and then nothing but silence. I wrote 4 emails in total and left 4 messages with their restaurant staff. One time I was told "their manager is working on quotes and I would receive one within the next 24 hours".. still nothing. The next time I called I spoke to a gentleman staff member that literally said "I think if you haven't gotten a response by now, you should probably go somewhere else", like who says that to a potential customer? Anyways from this point I still have not received an email or a phone call... giving up and taking our business elsewhere. But just super disappointed.

The tortillas are amazing! The margarita was great! The spicy chorizo, actually does have a kick! Ambiance is laid back, a few 2-tops, a couple 4-tops, and some bar seating, outside patio as well. Service was quick and friendly! Basically everything was spot on

This place has a great atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. I got a quesadilla, a dill and a taco, all beef for the protein. All 3 were absolutley amazing! Some of the best tacos I have ever had!!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for any of the above.

Such a great local taco/burrito spot when I lived in the area. The staff are always super personable and seem like great folks. I personally don't find the tacos to be "clandestine" lmao.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and cheerful music playing in the background. The interior was cozy, with bright colors everywhere and decorations up for Christmas. After ordering my food, I sat down to wait, and was pleasantly surprised when only 5 minutes had passed and one of the workers came out holding my tacos. They were warm and flavorful, with the seasoning just about right. Although they were not the best tacos I have eaten to date (that's what my 5 star reviews are saved for), they were tasty for the price which I had paid. Awesome little place and good food, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm around in the area.

Noticed ~AFTER I ate here that this place's 5 star reviews are all from white people. Makes sense for the area, but these are pretty much the furthest thing from Mexican food I've ever ate in a Mexican restaurant. Tortillas- bland and dry Meat- bland and dry, like not even salt... Produce- bland and dry.... Notice a pattern? I would have rather legit just not ate lunch yesterday. If you are any shade of brown- avoid this place at all costs. Oh- and the lady at the counter was by FAR the rudest person I've ever encountered in Portland. This is when I really wish customers had a money back guarantee at restaurants. 0 stars- I wouldn't even give these tacos to a person on the street asking for food. La comida aqui apuestaaaa!!!!!!! ¡Aléjate porque no se parece en nada a México!

Oh no! Not another crave worthy meal! I was not looking for authentic Mexican food - I'm from SoCal and long ago gave up finding anything authentic in PDX. What I do look for is a great tasting meal. The House Breakfast Burrito ($10) which you can get as a bowl, is just that! It's great tasting, filling, and yes, it is a bit pricey. I feel it is worth the price compared to other breakfast burritos I've tried that cost a few bucks less. The menu description: "Mild green chili scrambled eggs, choice of bacon, sausage, chorizo or pinto beans, seasoned potato, caramelized onion, cheddar-jack cheese & our poblano infuse crema. Want roasted sweet potato corn hash instead? " I went with Bacon for the protein and the roasted sweet potato corn hash rather than seasoned potato. Yum, yum, yum, lots of flavor. Just writing this review makes me want to run out and get one. I was there Wednesday at 11 am when they opened. They have outdoor seating available but I chose to take my order to go so I could enjoy a visit to a local park. Brian was wearing a mask, he was kind and helpful. We had a great little chat while my meal was being prepared. He suggested I try both the medium and the spicy salsa. Both were tasty but honestly, the burrito was great even without the salsa. I'm not sure I will ever get a chance to try anything else on the menu because what I had was just so darn good!

Recently they peddled over to our church event, summer baptism festival, and provided their goods for sale. I wont lie coming from souther California i believe all tacos should cost a dollar, but with the hand pressed tortillas, and the care they put into the food, i can see why they have the asking price. The meat and tacos were quite good, solid food across the board, salsa was a bit lacking in the heat department for "hot" and i always enjoy a hot taco ;) The empanada they had or as they call it the 'dilla' was quite good, and the thicker corn was almost the same as a sopa, i enjoyed this, but with they were larger as a peraon would need to eat about 15$ in them to fill up. Overall thank you for coming to the evwnt, amd cranking out tacos with a line of happy people waiting. We hope to see you again!!

This is a solid taco spot in Portland. Came in after grabbing beers at the new Steeplejack spot across the street. Order at the counter, get a number, find a table. I ordered their salad with the carnitas. HUGE SALAD! It was delicious! The dressing was lite and flavorful. The pork was to die for! Super juicy and crispy, and a healthy portion too. I also added a homemade tortilla on the side, because I wanted to try them. YUM! I will definitely be back for the tacos next time as the meat and that tortilla were fantastic! Definitely hit this place up next time you're in the area. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient.

Veggie and vegan bkfst tacos are pretty great and corn tortillas are "hand pressed" and delicious. "Hot" taco sauce is "mild" in my opinion. They charge a "to go" fee of a dollar which is not listed anywhere on the menu. I am annoyed by this.

There's not much room at the restaurant but they do good work with what they have. The food itself was okay. I tried the beef, fish, and pork tacos. I didn't realize all the meets here were shredded, but the flavors were slightly bland anyways. The pork had the most flavor for sure - it has little sweet flavor from it from it. The only major problem I had with the fish was the batter overtook the amount of fish in the taco... I hate that! The tortillas are claimed to be home made. I can believe it, but they're not too much better than store bought tortillas. The salsa were both good. Green was my favorite.
