15 Must-Try Astral Margaritas in Orange County | Eater

"A blink-and-you-might-miss-it taco hut right off PCH, Taco Surf is pure old-school California beach culture. Surf memorabilia covers the walls, live music keeps the mood lively, and the patio is prime for a post-surf burrito and a flight of Astral margaritas. The Pipeline Shrimp Burrito and Ensenada Shrimp Tacos are local favorites, and brunch deals — $20 house margarita pitchers and $2 beers — turn Sundays into a lively, beachside gathering spot. No frills, just quality food and a true Sunset Beach staple." - McConnell Quinn

Came here with my family. Service was great! There’s parking on site. They have kid options which were good. I had the birria taco and their famous fish taco. It was fried and I’m not a huge fried fish fan so that’s on me that I didn’t like it. The birria was good. Not amazing but really good. We also got grilled tacos, pork nachos, and a pork chile verde burrito. We all agreed it was a solid 4. Like really good but just not knock your socks off. If you’re on the beach and looking for a good solid family friendly or cool atmosphere place that’s close this is a great option.

Great taco place. Greeted immediately and got drinks in seconds. Food was amazing. Full of flavor. I got their lunch special of fish tacos, rice and beans. Tacos on POINT. 10/10. Husband got asada fries. Man. I wish I got them! Asada has amazing flavor, cooked to perfection. Son got the Cali burrito, he ate it fast so I know it was good. Atmosphere was laid back. Current music playing not too loudly. Windows open for that sea breeze. Will definitely come again when we are back out here. A must eat spot.

Went on Taco Tuesday, very good tacos but staff seemed a little off. But hey, still 5 stars :)

The atmosphere and vibe in this restaurant was good. On July 28, 2023, Our Waiter and the bartender (I forgot their names), they took care of us. We were definitely jetlag and just got out of a long flight and was hungry

Always love me some Taco Surf! So happy to see this location open again after the fire. Great food and a great bunch of people work here.

My friends have been coming here, but it's my first time. The parking area is small and it's one of those pull in right from the street. We came around 8pm on a Saturday. We got a table right away and in the area that we wanted. The restaurant has a nice "typical" surf theme. I liked that they had the windows wide open for ventilation. They played upbeat music-- nothing too loud. Kid friendly (saw some kids sitting over at the next table). They have a QR code on the table so you can use your cellphone to look up the menu. The food tasted really good. We think the serving is pretty big. Prices are comparable to the other slightly higher priced hispanic restaurants. 😉 You've got to try their flan! It was really good. Our server was funny. Nice experience.
