Recommend this place highly. Didn’t love all the taco selections. But there’s all all day happy hour for margaritas and 3 for $14 tacos. The staff treats you well and they took song requests while I was. Enjoyed my time. Tacos are still good. I’ve just had better. It was lowkey when I got there but picked up around 9 and was filling up. It was a Tuesday when I went.

Great experience coming here! My bf and I were looking for a good place to eat that wasn’t crazy expensive and this is the place to go! Good prices for the city and if you come during happy hour you get a great deal on the margaritas ($7 margaritas). Food was great, drinks were great, and customer service was awesome. The waiter was great and the man who seats people was so kind and funny. Looking forward to coming back again

Such a great vibe, food, drinks, prices, and staff! I came for brunch with a friend with our fur babies and they were totally dog friendly to our pooches. Thank you for a great time. I hope to come again soon.

Had an amazing time at Taco Tavern on a Friday night! Great drinks, music, and vibes to start the night off (recommend the strawberry margarita!). Service was awesome - Victoria and Danny really took care of us and made sure we had a great time. Will be coming back!

Just happened by the new spot on Amsterdam avenue & thank goodness we did. Food was amazing. Service was A + . Management kept checking in us. We will be back!

Absolutely delicious. I went on a Thursday evening and there was a decent crowd mostly at the bar and high top tables. It was dark like a bar but we went for dinner. My Carne Asada tacos were tender and had awesome toppings. The friend plantains were crispy on the outside. My spicy margarita really had a great kick. I’ll be back for sure. 4 stars only because the lighting and music felt out of place for a 6:45 dinner on a Thursday.
