Taco Village NY

Noticed the cute decor when walking on the street and was intrigued by the menu. Went in for lunch for a torta de milanesa de res with everything. I did not have to wait long for my order to be ready and the workers are very nice. The food did not disappoint as they are very generous with the cheese and it was delicious. I will be coming back to try a burrito.

I’ve gotten takeout from here twice (it’s a tiny shop so all food is to-go or eaten at two mini tables on the street) and the tacos are awesome. Fish tacos are fabulous (on par with Los Mariscos, which is my favorite fish taco in the city) and the birria was also super good. Tacos are ~$4.50 each. They have a big refrigerator of popsicles too (photo just shows half the flavor options).

Taco Village is a welcoming place with great food! I went for the birria tacos, and they were amazing. The shredded beef was tender, flavorful, and just delicious. And let's not forget those homemade potato chips – crunchy perfection! Washed it all down with an agua fresca that hit the spot. The place has a chill vibe, and the folks working there are super cool. For some seriously tasty tacos, Taco Village is where it's at!

For what it is they do it well. Good old fashioned tacos. Nothing fancy, just flavorful. The chicken tacos were perfectly cooked and the Al Pastor was delightful. Really smoky red sauce and salsa verde. Would definitely go back for some brilliantly basic Mexican.

I wish I could give them an even higher rating. This food exceeded my expectations, hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had. There was so much flavor that me nor my bf wanted to stop eating. I highly recommend the birria but we had a little bit of everything and it was all fantastic. Im glad we picked this little place on our short trip to the city and recommend everyone to try it, you will not be disappointed!

I don’t really write reviews, but for Taco Village, I’m making an exception. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Discovered it one afternoon with my wife and kids just walking around. Woman working the register (can’t remember her name) recommended the birria tacos. Life changing. The broth that comes with the birria combo is worth the price of admission itself. I’ve been back a bunch of times and have had just about everything on the menu. Highlights are the fish and nopal tacos, birria torta, Campechano gringa, and horchata. But really, you can’t go wrong. It’s the perfect taco place: no fuss, just fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, and great value.

This place has the best tacos in the area. I order them for delivery and the quality holds up. Great late night option on the weekends too. Most recently I had the birria quesadilla which was perfect after a night out.

I ordered the Birria tacos and they were really good! The consume was tasty and the tacos were cooked well. The tacos had a lot of meat in them. The place is fast causal, and the outside decor is nice!

Amazing service ,amazing food,Amazing ambiance so chill.. and sooo tasty... A authentic Mexican place couldn't ask for more.
