Loved that cauliflower was a "protein" option. My burrito was massive. The space was clean & welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my food & the customer service was friendly. I highly recommend checking this spot, if you haven't already

This was my first time at Tacobee’s Mexican Grill, and it definitely won’t be the last! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and loaded with all the good stuff. I especially want to compliment the wonderful lady who helped me with my order. She was so kind and patient! When I wasn’t sure which type of chicken to choose, she even gave me samples to try, which made my decision so much easier. That level of service really stood out and made me feel welcome. Overall, a great experience with amazing food and even better customer service. Highly recommend checking out Tacobee’s! 🌮🔥

Love this place. I was just planning to take back to my room some nachos. Try them immediately and couldn’t resist. Finish them right there. Everyone that walked by me wanted to them because it looked so good. Give them a try and I will be back.

Amazing food. First time here and will be a returning customer. Each and every person working was attentive to my wants and I truly loved each bite

I first discovered this place through Uber Eats, and I’ve been in love with it ever since. Recently, I went in with my two little sisters and we ordered the nacho platter and the loaded fries. The portions were so generous that all three of us ended up sharing and finishing just one platter together! The flavors are absolutely incredible—the fries are perfectly seasoned, and they offer a great variety of sauces to pair with your dish. On top of that, the staff are so warm and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I’d recommend this spot to absolutely everyone I know!

I ordered a steak burrito and a Honey chipotle burrito. Both burritos were wonderful in massive, came with a lot of meat rice beans in the add-ons, everything was perfectly seasoned me and my boyfriend loved it! We were 100% order from the store again, we originally forgot to add an item and we called the store requesting if they could add it to our order and we would pay extra, the guy over the phone was such a sweetheart, and just went ahead and gave us The item that we forgot to add for free, this is a good Customer Service! Not just because they gave us something free of charge, but because the food was truly amazing. I’m adding a photo of both burritos so you can see that I’m not lying. Please do yourself this favor and order from the store, you won’t regret! This restaurant is a gem! Amazing.

Google
Late night visit while working to grab something for the next day. I ordered 2 burritos a chicken and a tofu for protein as an alternative for myself. The tofu was seasoned and marinated. I asked for a sample. So flavorful! I got everything except anything with dairy on mine. I had it filled with shredded lettuce, black beans, sauce, pico de gallo fresh cilantro and cilantro sauce. Service was excellent! I found out that there is a deal on the ordering platforms. So check them out under TacoVibes. They are Halal so I didn't have to worry about any rendered fat in the beans. The burritos had my car smelling so good I could smell the spices. Tasted phenomenal!

HALAL FOOD, Best restaurant I visited during my entire trip to the U.S. Highly recommended! Very large portions, plenty of food, and affordable prices. Great value for money.

Yelp
I first found Taco Bees when I'd come back from school in New York. I live off the L train near 2nd st, so I'm used to places that stay open late -- something Philly seriously lacks. Most spots here shut down early, but Taco Bees is different. They actually stay open until 3 a.m., which already makes them a lifesaver. When you walk in, the place is clean and smells great. I usually get the build-your-own burrito bowl with shredded beef, shrimp, rice, and beans -- and it always hits the spot. The food's solid, fresh, and reasonably priced. It's also halal, which shows the owner really thought about the community. You can tell he understands what people want -- he treats Philadelphia like a real city, not a sleepy town. Staying open late, keeping prices fair, and serving good food? That's how you do it. Highly recommend Taco Bees. They're ahead of their time.

Yelp
Tacobees is a solid Halal fast-casual styled Mexican restaurant like Chipotle and Qdoba, but with several more options, especially in the protein department. They have several types of chickens, some seafood options, and several vegetarian options. The service is always reasonable (as much as you'd expect for fast casual) and the food is always fresh. Would recommend again. What you didn't come here for: - Water: We didn't ask but there doesn't appear to be a sane way to request a water cup. And even if there was, high odds it wouldn't be clean. - Restrooms: There is a single occupancy restroom - Seating: There are high tables and low tables throughout the restaurant, enough for everyone to get a seat. - Will it fill you up? Yes, it's enough for a single meal. - Accessibility: The entire restaurant is wheelchair accessible including into the restrooms. That said I am not convinced larger wheelchairs would be able to turn in the restroom.

Yelp
Heard of the location in Brooklyn and was excited for a new halal spot to make it's way to Philly. Ordered a steak burrito. Most of the burrito was rice, there was very minimal steak included. The tortilla itself is really nice and soft. Kind of disappointed with the ratios of the fillings and probably will not order again.

Yelp
While scrolling on Instagram, a post came up on my feed about the Grand Opening of this place for today(Saturday). It's a Brooklyn-based spot and this is it's first location opening outside of NYC. With them having a special of a free bowl for every customer, I figured why not check it out. As you drive by and walked up, hard to miss it since they had music playing and balloons to signal it's opening. Got in there and saw the DJ to my left - the music selection was good. This spot is a pretty decent size and setup of your typical fast-casual restaurants - large windows letting a ton of light in, wooden/metal tables either booth style or high tops. There was a line but they had a really good process going, so it only took me maybe 5 or 6 minutes to get up to order. They have the line setup for you to make your selections easy - similar to a Chipotle, Qdoba or Naf Naf. Since they were offering a Grand Opening special for their bowls, I got that. I chose mexican rice as my base with black beans and topped it with half grilled chicken/half chipotle chicken, romaine lettuce, corn salsa and pico, guacamole, cheese and chipotle sauce. When I got back to try it, I was pleased with it. Food tasted pretty fresh, tasty and they gave good servings of everything. A more local fast casual restaurant to consider in the city. I would go back to try on a normal day and see what other options are like.

Yelp
Saw this come across my IG reels and knew I had to come try it! From the jump the smells are amazing, it was a little packed so behind the counter they were busy but when it came to making my burrito the worker didn't hold back! Both servings were hefty and it did not lack flavor. The habanero sauce I got in the burrito was very flavorful and great spice. Got cilantro sauce on the nachos and it was good too! I love that the food is halal so that way all are able to enjoy. Great seating options and clean restrooms too. Definitely a good addition to the city! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Food is fresh, and the portions are large. There are several options for meats and toppings. The service is quick and there is plenty of seating available. I didn't enjoy the seasoning they use on their meats. The flavor doesn't pair well with Tex Mex flavor profile I prefer. If I come back, I'd probably stick to the vegetarian options just to avoid that odd meat seasoning.

Yelp
I was so disappointed here. Before time of free food( they start 3-6 for free opening foods but I was here around 2) so I checked menu and I ordered make my self salad. I didn't ask much to worker who make food because I got menu menu. But usually worker tell us what is this and that. Explain what they have and how I choose from this and that...may be Because I speak Japanese to my friend? ?? I don't know. Any way portion was way small than chipotle ( which is very similar food ) I paid my food ! not I got free food. so taste wise is not attentive. Unfortunately fast food Mexican is very similar... taste( I can say only salad) any way Mexican restaurant near by so I am not coming back... here sorry...going to real restaurants...

Yelp
The food is insanely good! Had it delievered and as soon as my daughter brought the bag inside I could smell the food and my mouth started to water. The chicken Birria were on point and the crispy tacos were packed in a container that kept them separate from each other which i absolutely loved! The guacamole and chips were top tier! I was hesitant to order the guacamole cuz I'm particular. But it did not disappoint. My daughter and I are from Cali where the mexican food is five star and authentic. we have been trying to find good Mexican food here in Philly and we definitely found it at tacobee's. We will be ordering again for sure!

Yelp
Pretty good but the fajita vegetables overpowered the bowl. the ratio of onion to pepper was off and too onion'y. not to mention that the onions are not cooked long enough. Fix that and the place is solid

Yelp
This burrito place is a fast food restaurant similar to qudoba or chipotle but the ingredients are better, the portions are larger, and the staff is so much friendlier. This is the best fast food spot in old city. I keep coming back!

Yelp
Food was really good. There were so many options. The best part is that it is all halal. I will definitely be going back to try more items. I'm

Yelp
If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn't the place. But, if you want a fresh 'build your own' bowl, burrito, tacos, etc., that tastes good, you're in luck. The food has Mexican flavors, the veggies are fresh and colorful, and the choice of sauces adds a lot of flavor. I'm a fan of the mango or the cilantro sauce. In a neighborhood filled with cheesesteak and pizza joints, Tacobees is an especially great find for locals who are starving for something quick and healthy. There's one fellow there, I think he's a manager, who knows me and my neighbors already. They haven't been open for long. He's always welcoming and helpful!

Yelp
I've been here twice, both times to get their cauliflower bowls. The fried cauliflower is good--lightly breaded and crispy. I get it with the cilantro rice, black beans, and lots of veggies and salsa. It's a pretty good & balanced meal deal for vegetarians in my opinion. The folks working there were super nice and accommodating. Facilities were clean.

Yelp
Chipotle but in Philly! This store is close to so many things and my son was really hoping for Chipotle. Luckily, this place is similar and more choices!! As they were scooping in the choices, they waited patiently for my son to decide on his meal. It's also a bright place and great location. We will definitely be coming back as you can get bowls, burritos, and tacos!

Kim D.

Yelp
Ok so I famously hate birria tacos but i saw Tacobees on UberEats and decided to give them a try. I order the steak birria with guacamole on the side. When i tell you these are THEE BEST birria tacos EVER. I tried different places in Philly and typically always sent the food back or trashed it but THIS PLACE CHANGED MY MIND. Will definitely be ordering again! I literally inhaled one in like 5 seconds

Yelp
Indian lady seem she didn't like her job and attended us like if we wasn't costumers. The rice has no flavor and I wasn't satisfied with the price.

Yelp
good food. pretty large portions (1 burrito is really enough for two of us). only have had 'to go' so far, but the orders have been ready when promised. basically a smaller, friendlier, more intimate chipotle!

Em G.

Yelp
Go here if you want the most beautiful giant burrito. Bonus points because its halal!

Suzanne D.

Yelp
The food is incredibly good! The staff is so patient and kind. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood - welcome to Old City!!

Evan W.

Yelp
Ehhh.. overall a pretty mediocre Mexican experience. You can certainly do much better around the block. My burrito was rushed; slightly undercooked rice, very undercooked onions (basically raw), and a poor distribution of ingredients. I didn't hate it, but it's not very good. For the price, go to Revolution or somewhere else

Jeremy L.

Yelp
Great food, great atmosphere. Service was quick and prices are fair. Will be coming back for sure!
