Friendly staff, quick service, delicious food! What more can you want? Delicious Tacos with many options available! Great Tasting Burritos with generous portions and aren't dry like most places. Definitely a good stop if you're in the area. Ask for guacamole, it's delicious.

Google
I'm calling it the best beef birria queso tacos and breakfast burritos in Pasadena. Those are the 2 items I've tried so far. Yes, it is greasy (as another reviewed points out) but oh so tasty! The tacos are a little over priced but they give bigger than normal portions so it evens out. For a smashing deal, try their breakfast burrito served all day with their amazing red salsa!

Google
Great new taco spot in east Pasadena! I had driven by a few times seeing that it was coming soon and then drove by again yesterday saw it was open now! Just had lunch there and it was great. I had the Grilled Ahi, Braised Beef Birria and the Drunken Carnitas tacos. All of them were good. The beef Birria was probably the highlight. It was very flavorful. The Carnitas were also very good. The Ahi was good too, I like the pineapple salsa a lot. The tortillas were awesome and delicious and strong enough to not fall apart. The pickled carrots, jalapeños and onions you get in the side order of Taco Truck Vegetables are all really good too and you get a lot of them for only 1.50. And to wash it all down, I highly recommend the Pineapple Mint agua fresca, it's very refreshing. I'll be back very soon!

Google
Modern taco stand serve good honest food. Their posole is full of pork and come with a full tray of veggies. Drunken carnita is very very good! Another great taco spot!!

Google
Really good tacos hand made tortillas and a nice variety of salsas and the salsas are delicious especially the dark red one . Has a nice kick to it and great smokey flavor. I tried the birria taco and the chicken taco both very good.the chicken has great charbroiled grilled smokey flavor

Google
Some of the best tacos I've ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. The carne asada and shredded beef tacos were phenomenal. The chips and salsa were fantastic as well!

Google
If you like your food spicy hot, you will like this place. Unfortunately, I don't. I asked for the mildest tacos and they were too spicy for me. I didn't think to have them leave off the salsa. I am paying the price tonight! My order of 2 tacos seemed to take a long time, 11 minutes. I was the only customer at the time waiting for food and there were about 6 employees working in the kitchen or counter. The place was nice and the presentation was good. Enjoy, if you like spicy food. I know I'm a lightweight at that.

Google
This placed lived up to the hype my colleague reccomend this place and the food was great. I tried their Adobe taco and carnitas. While my wife tried their other tacos and it was amazing. The smoked wings had excellent flavor. Tuesday night they have a $8 deal of two tacos and a soda. Their tacos are bigger than street tacos with excellent flavor.

Yelp
The good: I got chaatchos from here during Sunday's Smorgasburg. This was so different, interesting and fun. The combination of Indian and Mexican cuisine go really well together. The presentation of the dish was pretty because of the brightly colored pickled onion. My dish was made quickly and packed a lot of flavor. The girl working the stand was friendly. The nachos had Jeera rotisserie pulled chicken, para crisps, Mayocoba beans, GG Sauce, Ambli Molasses, crema, roasted peanuts, lime spiced coconut, and mint. It was texturally great. The bad: It's almost too saucy. I think you can get flavor fatigue from how much flavor it packs. The interesting: They sell gift cards online and offer catering. I think this would be an awesome catering option to really wow your guests and to introduce them to something flavorful and new.

Yelp
Saucy Chick wasn't really on my radar at first. I was searching for someplace to pick up breakfast after a walk. Upon reading reviews and the concept I decided to check it out. Because I first visited on a Sunday before 10a, the only menu items were breakfast burritos and chilequiles. The regular menu items are not available until 11. No problem, the burritos sounded good so I got the asada burrito and the paneer burrito (yes, I was hungry). Both burritos were made fresh so it took a few minutes to prepare. Asada burrito (4/5) was full of well seasoned meat, potatoes, egg, and beans. Very satisfying and quite substantial. Paneer burrito (4/5) delicious! I actually think I preferred this burrito over the asada. I was also able to visit another weekend for lunch. We had the following: Ambli smoked chicken (4/5) flavorful, tender, perfectly cooked. Especially with the tamarind sauce poured all over. Cauliflower side (3/5) this was ok but just not as flavorful Cucumber side (4/5) unexpectedly interesting and flavorful Birria bowl (4/5) I really liked this dish! It was super flavorful and came with rice and beans. Overall, the food at Saucy Chick is very tasty. I still want to try more of the sides and the other roasted chicken dish. Prices are kind of high but I think given the quality and overall flavor, I think it's justified. Service is also excellent! Both visits I was warmly greeted and felt welcomed. The only negative is that the outdoor seats are kind of gross. We wiped our table down and came up with dead bugs and it seemed sticky/grimy. Also lots and lots of flies outside made enjoyment of our meal less so. Parking is ample, free, and shared with other adjacent businesses. Overall I really like this restaurant! I hope they continue to do well! LOCATION: 4/5 FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 VALUE: 4/5 AMBIANCE: 3/5 PET FRIENDLY: yes (outdoor seating) CLEANLINESS: 2/5 PARKING: 5/5

Yelp
Really enjoyed dinner at saucy chick goat mafia! Indian and Mexican food is really a fantastic combination. We felt super welcomed the minute we walked in and the person taking our order was super friendly and helpful! I really enjoyed my pibil bowl and the corn was awesome! I also really liked the beans. Also really enjoyed the papas con chorizo side - the small was a perfect lil bite of potatoes! Felt like everything was flavorful and interesting without being overly salty. There's only a couple of seats indoors - most of the seating is outdoors, but there's several tables. Pretty casual dining situation. Excited to have this place in the rotation and to try more of their items!!

Yelp
Delicious unpretentious food! Love the spices... perfect for a rainy day! I like the texture of their tortillas, just the right amount of chewy.. The food comes with a variety of sauces that enhances the flavors. Truly appreciate the thought given to how everything comes together.

Yelp
I love this place. For lunch I love getting a bowl. It's a great portion of food, flavorful, and cheaper than chipotle.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! It is unique and full of flavor. The times we have been, one of the owner's has been there to service us. He has always been friendly and helpful with any questions we had. There has plenty of outdoor seating and parking in front of the restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
Mexican Indian fusion? It's great! You can get dishes that are primarily only one of each cuisine, but you can also get fusion dishes which, surprisingly, pair well together because the spices overlap. We've ordered the jeera burrito several times and enjoyed it, the pibil nachos and 1/2 pibil chicken. One of the standout dishes is a humble side dish, Mama's beans, which are refried beans blended with chorizo and cheese. These are the best beans in the whole world because they are so savory and addictive. We always order extra, dip chips into them, and overall savor them. Their homemade salsas are also bomb.

Yelp
I can't take it anymore! After all of the outstanding Yelp! reviews and rave summaries in the Los Angeles Times, LA Magazine and EaterLA, I finally made the trek to Saucy Chick Goat Mafia and, wow, did it live up to the hype. Saucy Chick Goat Mafia was created with the vision of creating an experience that brought together the hospitality and dynamic flavors from both Mexican and Indian cultures. This infusion sets the stage for something magical - full of flavor, depth and heart from good ol' homemade comfort food. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by some amazing aromas from the open kitchen as well as by the warm friendliness of one of the owners, Marcel, who welcomed me, asked me how I heard about them and then decided to answer a few of my questions about the menu. After careful consideration, I decided to go with the 3-Taco Plate ($14): Pibil Rotisserie, Birria Queso and Charred Haldi Cauliflower. Of course, I had to go with the fresh, hand-pressed corn tortillas with each. The intimate space has a few barstools with counter space inside along with 4 picnic-style tables under a shaded patio outside. Plenty of parking in the shared retail lot. The tacos, served up piping hot and fresh, immediately hit my eye with the incredible variety of colors. Each taco, unique and different, perfectly summed up the Indian-Mexican fusion concept on one plate. First up, the hand-pulled Pibil. Amazing! The chicken was slow-cooked and very tender, perfectly balanced savory and sweet with the lime pickled onions, queso fresco, garlicky sauce. The Cauliflower Taco was out of this world. Warm turmeric-roasted cauliflower, pistachio dust, beans, fresh torn mint, and herbaceous sauce. The Birria Queso is out of this world. 100+ year old family tradition, hailing from Jalisco, this incredibly juicy birria is some of the best I have ever had. I could eat about three more of these. SCGM is an incredibly unique fusion food adventure. The reviews match my experience. I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu, and sharing the Saucy Chick Goat Mafia name to others looking for outstanding flavor profiles, friendly service, affordable prices, killer tacos, and just good ol' fashioned homemade deliciousness. Amazing indeed!

Yelp
Overall, pricey for the portion we get. I ordered nachos and usually, nachos come in big portions so my friend and I decided to share. Yes, I checked pictures on Yelp but it looked bigger in pictures. For $16, it was not worth it. I came with a group and to be honest, not sure if it was the spice or just the combo of this idea of fusion, it just didn't work for our taste. The good ol' asada burrito was good though!

Yelp
My friend and I first tried Saucy Chick at DTLA Smorgasburg. We enjoyed it so much we decided to make the trek out to Pasadena to try more items. Unfortunately traffic was not on my side (thanks LA) so by the time I arrived I was very hungry. The menu was robust but we both opted for the 3 tacos plate ($14) and a side. There was an interesting drink rose drink on the menu but they were out of it. My friend chose: Jeera Rotisserie, Birria, Charred Haldi Cauliflower with a medium Kachumber Salad ($5). I ordered: Pibil Rotisserie, Jeera Rotisserie, Birria with a medium Moms Beans ($5) The tacos were great. Strong flavor, well cooked meat, with a nice balance of textures. The Pibil Rotisserie taco was actually a hard shell taco layered with Mom's Beans, GG Sauce, lime pickled onions, queso fresco. This felt the most Mexican in flavor and texture. The Jeera Rotisserie taco was a called back to the flavors we tried at Smorgasburg with Jeera rotisserie chicken, GG Sauce, mayocoba beans, lime pickled onions, mint. A large taco and very filling. Finally, the Birria goat taco was messy but very flavorful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was small with little indoor seating but a couple tables outside. I wish they were a bit closer but I would definitely suggest going if your near by.

Yelp
I like the story behind this Mexican and Indian taqueria. The Goat Mafia and Saucy Chick Rotisserie had regular pop-ups at Smorgasburg DTLA and now they have joined forces at this brick and mortar. 3-Taco Plate: This sampler is a good place to get your bearings on everything they have to offer. - Jeera Rotisserie: The Indian-style chicken is marinated in ginger, garlic, cumin, and caramelized onions. The flour tortilla holds chicken and beans together along with crema, a green spiced sauce, mint leaves, pink pickled onions, and crispy chickpea noodles. - Birria: The long-simmered Jalisco-style goat birria is juicy with an incredibly tender texture. It's like a mini pot roast with zing. The flavor of the the abundant broth is flavorful and complex from all the spices. This taco requires a thick corn tortilla coated with melted cheese to withstand all the juices. - Pibil Rotisserie: The pollo pibil has chicken marinated in achiote, garlic, citrus, and oregano. It is topped with lime pickled onions, queso fresco, and cilantro. The flour tortilla has spent extra time on the griddle making it extra crispy. Dining Area: There are a few seats inside. In the patio, there are about four tables. Ordering: Place your order at the cash register and they'll your food when it's ready. Parking: This strip mall has a medium sized lot.

Yelp
We got here on a Saturday around 7:30pm (they close at 8!) and got the pibil rotisserie chicken bowl and the pibil burrito. The portion is big and they definitely don't skimp on the chicken! The pibil chicken is hand pulled and very very tender - the curry has just the right amount of spice and I love the corn and radish since they introduced an additional layer of texture (crunchiness) to the dish! We absolutely enjoyed it! Would definitely want to come back to try the jeera chicken since they sold out that day! There are a couple seats inside and they also have outdoor tables! The owner was super nice as well! Come and give this Mexican and Indian fusion place a try - you won't regret it!

Yelp
Excellent experience in every way. Leo's customer service was unmatched, so so welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful, and approachable. The food spoke for itself, so delicious. I got 3 tacos: birria (they do birria right here), chicken (the one with more of an Indian twist), and cauliflower (my fave out of the 3!!!) I'll be back, this place is amazing. The vibes are so fun and cheerful and playful!

Yelp
Great food! This is my second time and food has been excellent. First time we ordered the combination 5 tacos -pork, chicken pi ill, chicken tandoori, birria cauliflower - all were excellent! The cauliflower tacos are a must! Second time my friend ordered the vegetarian bowl, which she said was. Comes with 5 different sauces - combination of chili, garlic, yogurt. Tortillas are excellent, but you can get naan. This is just a really great combination of flavors, very well prepared. They are super nice. I have been pondering ordering this tamales for the holidays - very unusual and interesting - birria, chicken libio, and sweet potato. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Went here for the second time and enjoyed it again! My mom has the pibil bowl and I had the cauliflower bowl. The flavors are unique and it's a creative cuisine combination. The corn is a MUST - it's delicious!!! The bowls are fresh and feel healthy! They are balanced well (not just a bowl full of rice) and the sauces are great, too! Highly recommend for take out or a casual dine in. Rhea is great - she checked in on all the diners and was genuinely warm and welcoming. I'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The man who helped us out was so nice and fun to talk to. He made some great recommendations and was really generous with giving us lots of sauces. We had a great time! I found it was a little pricey for what it was but I would still go again.

Yelp
indian and mexican fusion!? say less! i love the fun takes on classic dishes here, i hope to try them all one day. the employees are extremely kind and this is a good spot for takeout or dining in. skirt steak asada burrito - i loved how much meat was in this. the sauce on the side is tasty as well, with a slight spicy kick. tacos - my mom got the trio tacos with birria, pibil chicken, and jeera chicken. her favorite was the birria. so juicy and delicious i really do hope to come here again! must try if you want something unique
google avatar

Yelp
It is a small spot sharing 7/11 parking structure. The place serves unique food but the variety is very small. The way food comes out looks very nice (presentation in a plate). Food is above average but not excellent. It is a little pricey.

Yelp
I was introduced to this Indian-Mexican fusion eatery when they hosted a collaborative event in March in celebration of Women's History Month called "Yes SHEf ! Celebrating Pasadena Femmes in Food". I heard about the event via Yelp Elite events, but it was also promoted through other platforms. The event consisted of a food platter with tastes from 3 local eateries co-owned by women: Agnes Restaurant and Cheesery in Old Town (Vanessa Tilaka Kalb), Kinrose Creamery also in Old Town (Maria Oveysi), and Saucy Chick Goat Mafia (Rhea Patel Michel). The latter 2 "shefs" may have met at Smorgasburg , the huge food truck gathering in the Arts District on Sundays. There was a (female) DJ. I have dined at Agnes a few times, but the other offerings were a new tasty trip around the world. Rhea was the order taker/cashier. Saucy Chick Goat Mafia's offerings were Indian Jeera rotisserie chicken with sauces and tortillas and Kala Chana Chaat salad with chickpeas, cucumbers, mint and more. The chicken was very moist and redolent with "exotic" Indian spices, as were the sauces. The salad was tangy and fresh. SCGM also does a Mexican pibil chicken that I will try in the future. Most of their menu looked enticing and, for me, adventurous. Agnes' offering was raclette, poured by Vanessa from a large melty half wheel onto crisp tater tots. Creamy and decadent. Kinrose's offering (possibly served by Maria) was a Persian sour cherry Ice cream with fairy floss (Iranian cotton candy dusted with pistachio). Also creamy and decadent but in a different way. Their menu has a baklava-inspired ice cream I'd like to try. Overall a unique and wonderful food experience. As an East Pasadenian, it's nice to discover another promising food outlet in the neighbourhood.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
The food was excellent! I would highly recommend this restaurant. I got the three tacos ( pilbil chick, jeera chick & charred Haldi cauliflower) the cucumber salad and the Coco Rose drink and it was all wonderful. I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
A true epic love story.... Perhaps, a young Mexican taquero just so happened to fall for a beautiful Indian woman who has her mother's cooking on lock. I'll probably never know if that's really what happened but I will say... that was awesome! The blend of two food powerhouses, executed in perfect harmony. I had three tacos (Pibil chicken, Jeera chicken and Birria queso) all unique, balanced and full of FLAVOR. Also shared the mom's beans and fenugreek esquites (LOVED THE ESQUITES). You couldn't ask for a nicer down to earth owner, she and her crew took care of us. Can't wait to come back and try the nachos and wings!!
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
Came by with my husband for some dinner. We ordered every taco and some rostisserie chicken (the only to be exact). The chicken was sooo tender and delicious I'd highly recommend. Hubby loved the tacos. The birria here is actually goat! My fav taco was the chicken pibil I could eat a plate of them. Would love to come back and try more of their dishes.
google avatar

Siobhan M.

Yelp
Came here on a whim mostly because the name caught our eye, and will definitely return. Everything was delicious with rich spices and unique fusion flavors! Tad expensive, especially for the sides, but worth it in the end.

Eduardo P.

Yelp
First time here, honest thoughts: We got the 5 tacos to try for $25 I believe they use Mexican and Indian seasonings but the Indian ones are def a lot more noticeable in the flavor of each. I'm Mexican and the flavors were definitely different than I'm used to but they were still good My favorite part is that they have a lot of meat so they don't skimp out on the protein. The presentation of the platter was also nice. Most of the seating is outside and it is kept clean and designed nice. The service was great the worker at the register asked if we had any questions so very friendly and helpful. They also have free water with cucumber for flavor inside. I recommend this place if are looking for some Indian flavors and are pretty hungry since the food is loaded with protein (plus we got free chips).
google avatar

Krista C.

Yelp
Highly recommend, this is a must try joint. Loved all of the items we ordered and sauces were on point. The flavors and spices all went together so nicely. Recommend trying a combo taco plate with some sides. 10/10. Free chips and salad and free sauce sampler.
google avatar

Shawlien K.

Yelp
My brother goes here quite a bit so I figured why not try it out? We ordered to go. Their tacos are super flavorful and I love their tortillas! The birria was delicious- so much flavor and just the right amount of sauce on it. The meat was very tender also. The carne asada meat was cooked perfectly. Their hot chili oil helps to bring out the flavors! We also got their goat burrito, and I thought it was just okay. I thought it could use some kind of sauce in it so it wouldn't feel so dry inside. Also wished the goat pieces were cut up a little smaller and had a little more seasoning. I would definitely come back for their tacos, I thought they were full of flavor!
google avatar

Ada Y.

Yelp
Flavors here pack a punch! If you're not sure where to start or are super indecisive like me, the sampler is fantastic. Everything tasted really good- the protein ratio is fantastic. Every bite is meaty and satisfying. Next time, I am getting more sauce!
google avatar

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Stopped in here while passing through the area. This is definitely a unique take on food. It is a fusion of Mexican and Indian. Both great food options and unique flavors. My boyfriend and I ordered the rotisserie chicken and various tacos. The chicken was really tender, juicy, and flavorful. The chicken tacos were also great and packed with flavor. The birra tacos with goat is not like a birra taco from anywhere else. It is packed with flavor but also know that goat has a unique flavor. My boyfriend loved it however I am not the biggest fan lol. The sauces on the side were a nice addition to dip the chit and tacos in. All again, very unique and pretty darn tasty. Overall, the place is really clean, the employees super friendly, and the food is unique :)

Yelp
I like the mixture they got going on here at Saucy Chick goat mafia. Indian/mexican flavors gives a new twist. I have a feeling we will be seeing more restaurants opening up like this. Nice clean resturant with couple seats inside and 3 tables outside to seat. It would be great if they got some spicy sauces but no a deal breaker. Pibil chick nachos - Hand-pulled Pibil rotisserie sits on corn chips, slathered with Mom's Beans, herbaceous GG sauce, Ambli Molasses, crema, lime pickled onions, cilantro. A whole lot of yummy flavors in this one dish. And it's plenty enough to even share. Steak Asada Taco - literally a skirt steak chopped up in tiny pieces, cooked medium well, juicy, hand pressed corn tortilla made in house, pickled onions, some beans on the bottom, and cheese Birria Tacos - now the birria taco with cheese melted, hand made corn tortilla, super oily but flavorful.
google avatar

Doreen T.

Yelp
What a great addition to the neighborhood! 2 of my favorite Mexican and Indian cuisine combined into one! Say no more and get in my belly! They are known for their delicious and tender shredded rotisserie chicken and cooked into Pibil (Mexican) and Jeera (Indian) flavored. Hubby and I got very excited and shared: Jerra Burrito - Chicken, rice, beans. Very simple yet amazing! And I love how it does not feel heavy at all after you eat it. 3 Tacos Plate - love how you can choose between flour and corn tortilla. We chose one each of the Pibil, Jeera, & Birria. All the sides looks wonderful. We got a few like the cauliflower and the mustard seed potatoes. But my absolute favorite is the Mexican corn the Fenugreek Esquites *chefs kiss*!  Can't wait to come back to try to bowls and the nachos. There are 3 tables outside, however it was quite hot in the afternoon and the shades does not pull down.  We were lucky to grab one of 6 bar seats inside.
google avatar

Denzel L.

Yelp
I ordered a half Pibil chicken to go. The service was great and efficient. The chicken was roasted to perfection and succulent to the touch. Only thing is it kind of lacked flavor. I understand Indian spices can be a little more subtle at times. Not bad just probably would try another rub. The sauces were all amazing, my favorite was what I'm guessing is the garlic one.
google avatar

Andrew T.

Yelp
What a unique concept of Indian styled Mexican food? Or is it Mexican style Indian food? Great little location with lots of cute decorations and great service. There's not much parking so prepare to circle the block or park in the 7-Eleven lot next door. We really enjoyed the different meat options in tacos, but they're nachos and bowls look great as well.
google avatar

Harsh C.

Yelp
Not from the area and was searching for something different than my same old spots in my hometown. I found SCGM and decided to give them a try. Super nice staff made us feel welcomed. Tried a few different Tacos and some sides and everything was delicious. The Asada tacos take the cake! Some of the best tacos that I can remember having in a very long time. Will definitely try to make my way back. Great job to the whole entire team involved with this operation.
google avatar

Timothy K.

Yelp
This place slaps. Flavor mix is perfect and the kids enjoyed their burritos. Wife got the Jeera Chick-Chaat Chos. Boom. Owners are super nice and food delicious.
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
Fun Mexican-Indian fusion eatery! I learned about this place via Smorgasburg and other press articles. We accidentally didn't order anything that leaned more Indian so that is something for next time. What we got: - Pibil chicken nachos: I loved the corn chips and all the various salsa/sauces. Chicken was a bit dry. - Birria burrito: S got the burrito and he liked it. The goat is a bit gamey so be prepared for that. Comes with a small side of chips - 3 tacos: Birria, steak, pibil chicken - our friend got the tacos combo and his favorite was the pibil chicken! Also comes with a small side of chips. Overall, solid joint for a chill lunch. They have a little bit of indoor seating and bunch of benches for shaded outdoor seating. 1 unisex bathroom. Shared parking lot with 7/11. We parked on the street.
google avatar

Destiny C.

Yelp
we came right as they opened so unfortunately didn't get to try the abbie smoked chicken. we did try the hand pulled version though since it was from the day before and it was still delicious. i also got the birria queso taco, jeera chicken, pihil chicken tacos and everything was yummy! loved the concept and the story behind this spot and everyone was extremely kind and accommodating. they have limited indoor seating, but offer outdoor seating! overall a great vibe :)
google avatar

Victor A.

Yelp
I usually pass by in front of it daily and the name caught my eye so I had to do some research. When I read that it was a fusion between Indian & Mexican I just couldn't pass. I love both cuisines and I am happy that I have found this place! It was delicious! Big burrito so you will get full! I got it to go but I'll definitely stop by and eat there one of these days. They also gave me a sample of some sauces so that was exciting! So glad it's close by. Yummmm Yummmm
google avatar

Diana R.

Yelp
We loved all the flavors!!! From the Nachos to the Tacos and sides of Beans and Cauliflower, we did not have a bad bite. Unique mix of Indian and Mexican food, there is something for everyone here, spicy or not. The staff was welcoming and service was excellent. This will be a place you treat yourself to as the flavors are craveable, well balanced and very fresh.
google avatar

Tab L.

Yelp
My bf and I got the steak burrito, steak taco, nachos, pistachio & cardamom cookie, and the chocolate chip cookie. It was all good and service was quick. Will be back.
google avatar

Bex Q.

Yelp
Tucked away near a 7-11 there's ample parking at this joint. Service was friendly, the seating is mostly outdoors on picnic tables, with a few metal barstools inside facing a window, making good use of the space they do have. We ordered the Birria Bowl, chicken pibil nachos and Asada Burrito. I loved my bowl and I especially liked knowing they raise their own goats.. The meat was perfect, not too fatty which is a problem I've encountered at other places. My kid said he likes the fat at other places but the flavoring for him was also good. The nachos hit the spot for both of us, the only complaint is my son felt that there was too much rice in his burrito, which considering those 3 items had us at $50, too much rice will probably have us not order that again. I can't eat burritos so I'm good with the bowl.
google avatar

Olivia L.

Yelp
The food was fresh and the sides were so tasty. We came at an awkward time 3:30 yet the service was still great. The tacos were all so good, tortillas super fresh. All of the sauces were bright and unique. First time here and will definitely be back!

Yelp
We arrived hungry and Saucy Chick Goat Mafia did not disappoint. I got the birria tacos, daughter got the birria bowl, and husband got a steak burrito. All were tasty. After discussion, we decided that , although it was tasty, we would not get the birria next time. It's very rich. But you should try it for yourself. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The outdoor patio was clean and comfortable. We also tried the cookies. The chocolate one was delicious.

Yelp
Tried all 5 tacos. It was way more than I needed, and they were all fantastic. While the birria and asada tacos had generous portions of delicious meat, it was the two different chicken tacos and the cauliflower taco that smacked me in the face with nostalgic indian flavors. You must try these three tacos! - this is coming from someone who primarily looks for beef when eating out. Show up near sunset, sit outdoors, and enjoy the sounds of the peacocks in neighboring Arcadia as they call to each other while settling into their high perches for the evening.

Yelp
Saucy Chick was right near me before they moved locations to Pasadena a few months ago. It's a fusion of Indian and Mexican food. The service is friendly. It's mostly to go, although there is a counter and a few tables outside. One of the owners was there and gave recommendations. I tried the pibil burrito and fenugreek esquites (street corn). Everything was flavorful and fresh. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd come back. The menu is cool.

Yelp
AH.MAY.ZING! The flavor was off the charts and the service was exceptional. The nachos and the cucumber salad.....like no other.

Yelp
Had their taco sampler - every taco on the menu was delicious! So uniquely flavored and so tasty. The staff who brought out our food was warm and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience! Wished they are open later and on Sundays too. Would def be back!

Yelp
I went here due to the high ratings and thank goodness I DID!! I got the birria burrito, both chicken tacos and cauliflower tacos. I loved them ALL! I can't wait to come back with friends and family to try more things. Also, staff were kind and helpful! Well executed.
