Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar

This was our first time here and the food and service was excellent! I had the three tacos platter... Baja fish, catch of the Day which was mahi and poke. My daughter had the mini poke tacos, which I would get next time. My wife had The ultimate nachos. Adrian was our waiter and was courteous, friendly and extremely attentive. We will ask for him every time we go! We will will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

We truly enjoyed our Taco Craft experience. From friendly, prompt service to deli cious food, we were impressed. The cod tacos and the Mahi tacos were favorites, the guacamole and chips were a hit, and the yuca fries were a standout. We would dine here again and recommend if you're going to be in the Lauderdale by the Sea area.

I had such a good experience at Taco Craft thanks to Ari! Super friendly, really attentive, and made sure everything came out the way I wanted. The vibes were great and Ari checked on us just the right amount without being annoying. Food was fire and the service made it even better. Definitely ask for Ari if you go!

The first place me and my girlfriend stopped in was here to try their tacos during happy hour... we sat at the bar. The seats were comfortable, and the vibe and ambiance were nice. Our bar tender was very nice and friendly. I ordered the carne asada taco, and she got the shrimp taco and the chicken taco. The tacos came out fast, and they were fresh and delicious. All the tacos seemed to have fresh ingredients and tasted like a chef took their time. This place is great, and I wanna come back and have more of their tacos.

I am a local and love Tacocraft. I was going to go somewhere else for brunch in the square, but after waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged at the bar and then being given the wrong menus as the server walked away, I decided I go where I knew the service and food would be great. I never had brunch at Tacocraft, and it did not disappoint! First of all, as soon as I walked up, the DJ was welcoming people in. The bartender immediately greeted me, gave me a menu, and took my drink order. I tried their brunch recommendation, Short Rob ‘Birra’ Benedict! Oh my goodness.. it was a flavor bomb from top to bottom! The gently poached egg, smothered in a delicious chipotle hollandaise sauce, perched on top of jalapeño cheddar corn bread, was a fantastic flavor combination! Now I know they are not just delicious tacos; they have a wonderful brunch with excellent service, music, and tasty bites!

Tacocraft is always a good choice, good service and good food. The birria tacos are a must, also the taco platter is a good deal. Don’t miss the coconut margarita. Valentina gives an outstanding service.

I really like this place! So far we’ve tried a variety of tacos, chicken being the favorite, chips and salsas, and the chicken taquitos. The coconut margarita is incredible and I love that the drinks are always strong! Happy hour and taco Tuesday give you incredible deals. They also have a gluten free menu and a few vegan and vegetarian options marked too!

I usually come to Taco Craft, and every single time the service from Kassie, Ari, and Milly is amazing. They’re always friendly, attentive, and make the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Highly recommend this place for both the incredible service and the great food!

We loved our night here, Much better than the other locations. I came with 4 friends for late night happy hour and sat at the bar, tried the watermelon margarita and skinny rita, both were yummy, a little sweet for people who love sweet drinks. We tried almost all the appetizers, loved the queso blanco with the chorizo that was my fave. the tostones were also really good, they tasted fresh almost homemade and came with a really yummy sauce. The tacos were good as well and the elote was cooked well but needed a little more cotija. The bartenders were sweet. Will def be back to this location.

While walking around Lauderdale by the Sea and working up an appetite, we were recommended Tacocraft. We decided to try it out and started with a Cucumber Jalapeño Margarita and a Grilled Pineapple Old Fashioned. Turns out it was a great choice! We also ordered the nachos with no meat and a couple of tacos of local fish and a crispy shrimp taco. Delicious! Be warned, the nachos were piled high! The service was excellent as well as the food and drinks! We'll probably be back since we're visiting again in July! Great place to hang out, enjoy a few drinks and eat great food!

I enjoyed grabbing lunch here with some friends - right near the beach and some other shops, it's an easy spot to get to. I got the Taco Platter with the Baja Fish, Pork Belly, and Korean Short Rib tacos. I think Baja fish was the best in terms of flavor, followed by the Pork Belly! The platter comes with 3 tacos of choice and sides of beans and rice, all for $20! A nice deal and good portion sizes. Service was good - attentive and nice! I did have a strange experience in the bathroom as I waited in line for a stall to open up only to find they were occupied by employees on their phones - they apologized to me saying "I didn't know you were waiting, I'm so sorry". Didn't ruin my experience but was a little confusing.

I love how it's on the beach so relaxing sat outside lots of seating . Started off with a lemonade nice an. Fresh. Then the homemade guacamole and chips. Out of this world they give you so much chips for the guacamole it's a plus. Couldn't stop eating it. Then we got to pick 3 tacos lots of choices I picked the three chicken. Choices. It came with rice which was a little bit dry but not bad and the beans were just ok but not the best. very liquidy anx a few beans in it . The place was very clean everyone seemed to help and the waiter was super nice and kept checking on us .

Nice location, right near the beach. Parking is tricky. Taco Tues, understood to be busy. 15 min wait for an outside table. Server was overwhelmed. Service was slow but friendly. Crispy shrimp taco decent. Mahi taco cooked nicely but small & not much flavor. Tuna taco better than the other two. Meal & experience a bit underwhelming. Thank goodness for the hot sauces. Live music was the best part of the meal.

The servers need more training. They're not up to speed with their job. Wait a long time and I'm just wasn't on par.

Worst tacos I ever had. We are visiting from LA and wanted to try this place out. The server said the "chef" designed the menu inspired in East LA cousine and the food was horrible I order a taco platter with corn tortillas, sent it back because the tortillas were cold and breaking apart the server said it was because they couldn't heat corn tortillas like that which is weird because I'm Mexican been eating tortillas my whole life and never heard of such a thing. They switched the tortillas to flor and they weren't any better oh and there was hair in rice as well. My partner ordered a kale salad with steak and he hated it there was so much kale in it with absolutely no flavor and the steak was super chewy. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.

My husband and I live here and have gone several times to your restaurant. The vibe is amazing. The margaritas are good so is the food. Javier and Alicia were outstanding. They took good care of us. They were both so friending and attentive. I observed the way they acknowledge ppl and the great service they provide. Will come more often. Thank you for the great service you both provided. Makes a big difference!!

First time back since COVID- Came for Sunday brunch- endless Mimosa and Sangria on the menu.. ..it's the way to go !!! Was able to get a table just outside the bar. Today, or this morning into early afternoon, was beautiful here at Lauderdale by the Sea - sun shining, and it was warming up. So the atmosphere was awesome. A must try here is their Sweet Potatoe Gaucamole, the flavors are something to talk about. it's a favorite of mine. We actually ordered two, and the first one disappeared quickly. The roasted Chili mango salsa- a blend of sweet with a tang, served with chips. I ordered the steak, egg, and cheese tacos - they were packed. Everything was fresh and made to order. Steak was super tender too. I finished both to my surprise. They were perfect. My friend ordered the Al Pastor Hash with 2 eggs. Generous portion. He claimed it was good and filling, and the plate was clear, soo I'm guessing it was. Service was spectacular. Our waitress Courtney F. was friendly and polite. Very attentive, our glasses were never empty for long.. They do have a large variety of tequilas, beer, and a full bar. This place is located about 1/4 mile from the beach. Great location. Great service. Great food.

Tacocraft is located very conveniently around all stores and ice cream places such as kilwins and sloans. Tacocraft is very good but I will say the portions are much smaller. So if your ordering a taco I would suggest ordering more then one. The food was very tasty and very affordable. Tacocraft is perfect to go with friends/family or even to take out. The service was great and the food came out in less then twenty minutes. You can sit in or outside. There is very comfortable seating inside and high and low chairs for outside.

Overall great experience. The food was delicious, staff was friendly, and things were served quick. The outdoor seating was the perfect beach vibe spot plus there was shade. I would recommend the kale salad and it's definitely big enough to share!

Wow Tacocraft is amazing from beginning to end, ambiance to dessert. Located at Lauderdale by the Sea, it rules here! You may dine inside or on the patio- the restaurant is an open air concept, so even when dining indoors you don't miss a beat of outdoors! From the moment we sat down we knew this would be one of our favorites place to dine on our vacay. The service was prompt & friendly. The kids even loved it. The margaritas were made to perfection. The tropical guacamole was over the top amazing. Each taco was unique, fresh, and delicious. The crunch on the taquitos was out of this world. The elote was the perfect side, so yummy! We plan on coming back here the each time we visit!

The best Taco Tuesday you can get! I continue to visit here on a monthly basis and will continue to recommend this place to any and everyone. This location is the best since it's right near the beach so you can walk around after eating. There's always so much going on at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea so this is an exciting place to people watch as well. The service is always super fast which is great because some places can take forever on Tuesday's to push out tacos. The tacos are cheap and yummy. I love that there's a little something for everyone as they also offer vegan / vegetarian options. You can choose between corn or flour tortilla, or a butter lettuce wrap.

Meh. Came here with my family in Jan 2023 and was really happy with the overall experience. Back in April 2024, not even close to the same quality. Drinks are more expensive and have zero complexity (teach bar staff how to make proper margaritas), food was average with much smaller portions. Still better than baresco but that's not saying much. Such a shame to see this place decline so much in just over a year.

We stopped by just for a quick snack / lunch before heading home and got the tuna poke tacos and the nachos! The poke tacos were unreal - wish there was more than 3 to an order bc we were definitely splitting that last one. The nachos were delicious as well - we got vegetarian ones with no meat but it had beans, cheese, guacamole, pico and jalapeños and we were full with both of them! It was enough food for a small lunch for two people! Service was great and fast, the ambiance and restaurant is very cute and close to the beach as well!

This was our 2nd time here and definitely impressed with the consistency of the service! We are bar people so we sat at the bar both times. We tried the guacamole flight, and while all of them were fantastic, the tropical quac was definitely my favorite! We had the short rib barria tacos so good!

This place is incredible. I had the mushroom tacos. My friends had the fish and the carne asada. They loved the food. More importantly, the customer service is why you should show up. I can't speak for every employee here, but I can say that Emily is great. They're cute, they're funny, and they have great recommendations. They also make pretty good drinks! Go Pacers

I've never had a bad experience here. Just want to start this review off strong! Being right on the beach basically, huge plus. Location and atmosphere are everything. I always sit outside and enjoy the beach cruisers driving down A1A and people watching while drinking margs. Does it get better? Yes. Drinks are amazing. My favorite is the Paloma. Anything with tequila really but they've made the best Paloma I've had so far. Food is AMAZING. The brisket quesadillas are one of a kind. Perfect meat to cheese ratio. But really the winner is the bacon guacamole. GENIUS adding bacon to guac, thank you. Service was also really great! I'd highly recommend if you have friends in town or just want some good Mexican on the beach, stop here!

We went there twice the weekend we were in town visiting. The food is good. The outdoor service was terrible. I'd go down the street.

We stumbled upon this taco bar on our first day at LTBS. Who doesn't crave chips & margs on the beach? It's in the perfect location to oversee all the happenings on the square. We opted for the traditional guacamole & salsa. The salsa is one of the best I've ever had. Chips are fresh and you can't get enough! I had the chorizo taco and others tried the al pastor and short rib. We all loved our meal! We did venture here again later in the trip. I tried the guacamole with pineapple, oranges and dragon fruit and it was amazing. I got the al pastor taco this round and wasn't as impressed. The menu is labeled for gluten free items but none of the tacos were labeled. It would be nice to see this part of the menu change for the future (reason for 4 stars instead of 5).

The food was amazing. Unfortunately, we ordered guacamole and it never came. We asked the food runner about it and he acknowledged us it sfill was never brought to us or even brought back up to us. it was totally forgot about from both our waitress and the runner. It wouldn't of been a big deal but the waitress took 20 minutes just to come see us and it wasn't super packed. She also didn't check on us until after the food was finished and even then it took a second. we were here overall about an hour ish and our food took 8 minutes to eat. So, that's the math of that. The ambiance and location was nice, just really bad service which kind of ruined the experience. not to mention we were really looking forward to this guacamole and it literally just left everyone's mind but ours.

The nachos here are amazing! A huge serving, there were 6 of us and we could not eat them all! The taco are as our server described "boutique ". Beautiful plated, tasty tacos are what you get loaded with toppings and deliciousness! I thought the margaritas were just okay. Our server was excellent! Open air seating with entertainment! How can you go wrong?

Knocking a star because of the price, it's expensive. Other than that, the food is good and the service is very fast. All of the tacos are good options. Nice atmosphere. Just plan on a larger bill especially if ordering drinks.

Service was terrible. Waitress rude. Was asking a question on menu and she walked away. Rushed us out of there. Once she realized we were mad and said we would never come back she started being nice! Don't remember her name ..... sorry

Nick is a fantastic server! The ambience and design of the restaurant is lovely, and the food and service were exceptional! We will return; what a fun spot I am glad I decided to dine here again. Nick's attitude and smile were a great vibe to add to our fun experience.

Fantastic drinks and food at a reasonable price. Grab it while it lasts! We love the tacos but for me the rice and beans steal the show, so delicious and satisfying.

Unique and interesting tacos, fantastic margaritas, and the perfect atmosphere for a beach vacation. Oh, and the service, friendly and fast. We joined a group of friends for dinner here while on vacation during Spring Break. it was a busy time, but we had no issues getting seated quickly (it WAS during the heaviest rain storm FLL had experienced in 1000 years, so that might be why). But seriously, if I had to wait two hours for these tacos, I would. By the time all 13 of us were finished, I'd say we were members of the clean plate club. Not one taco or spec of guac was left behind.

Taco Tuesday is a must! $4 tacos and $8 margaritas you can't beat that! Be sure to go early as this place gets packed quickly. The oxtail empanadas is a must have along with the crispy chicken and pork belly tacos. Fun and lively environment to hang out after work.

There was a point in time when I would visit this TacoCraft location every week for Taco Tuesday! I went back yesterday for the first time in awhile and the tacos were good but not their best. I'm going to chalk it up to them having an off day because the tacos are normally so good, maybe even the best I've ever had. I remember when the tacos on Tuesday's used to be $3 but now they are $4 because inflation. For apps, I like to get the tropical guac and oxtail empanadas. Those are a must try. The wait is usually very long (1-1.5 hrs) on Tuesdays so I recommend going earlier because they don't take reservations on those days. The music is normally so loud, you can't even converse with the people you're with but when I went yesterday the music was at a regular volume! Hopefully they keep it that way. Overall, great taco spot and I would recommend it but I don't want the wait to be any longer than it already is

We went here for happy hour after work on Friday! It was crowded at the bar, but we made the best of it. My favorite drink was the Prickly Pear Margarita. I forgot to take a picture of it because we had such a wonderful night! The yuka fries were cooked to perfection, and the tacos looked enjoyable also. It's a decent-size restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Our bartender, Ebony, was very nice. I will definitely be going back soon!

It is nice to be able to sip a margarita and down some tasty tacos by the beach. The ambiance cannot be beat. Add some friendly servers and quick service and you are in are perfect beach zone. The fillings of Tacocraft's tacos are much better than the shell itself. I loved the pork belly. The taco corn shells are damp and cold which is a disappointment.

This was single-handedly the worst restaurant I've ever been to. I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life, this was the first time. 45 minute wait. 30 minutes to get water. No service after that. How anyone has a job here is beyond my understanding. The waitress apologized for the poor service by saying the previous table was "allergic to air"... I think she was allergic to doing her job and did not do literally anything related to her job description after that and would make the U.S. Congress proud. Don't waste your time.

Pricey for what you get. Queso was served in a small cup and not enough for even two people. Watermelon margarita was good, but $14. Shrimp fajitas were good. Small sides of rice and beans. Tacos were good, but the soft shells didn't hold up. Was never asked or informed of other options. Nice to sit outside, but probably would choose somewhere else next time.

It's a great location with zero parking and The service is hit or miss but the Food is really good depending what you order! Nachos wow! Steak fajitas wow! Grouper tacos, delicious! Guacamole, pretty good but not table side fresh - tasty but seems to be mixed in a blender or premixed, it's not freshly mashed with a fork. It doesn't have that fresh consistency. Some Bartenders have no communication experience. One experience recentlyOur food didn't come out and had no clue how to handle the situation. This happened this past Sunday 4/1/23. 5 of us at the bar. 3 of us got our food. 2 did not. Never asked us if we needed drinks. Just sat there and drinks melted. OMG. Our food never came. Never asked us. We had to flag her down. Hello? She went back to the kitchen to see what happened. And NEVER CANE BACK to COMMUNICATE A FOLLOW UP OF WHAT WAS GOING ON! Just went back to making other people's drinks. What??? So we gave her about 5-7 minutes to get to us. And nothing. Like is this woman serious? I finally get up, go find a manager who has to handle the situation. I mean seriously. The food comes in a matter of minutes and it was delicious. But why the breakdown? How incompetent is this bartender? She could not say to the kitchen staff, bar seats 8 & 9 are missing their food, make it on the fly STAT! Then come back to us and says hey y'all I'm so sorry it's coming, sorry about that. Let me get y'all a round of drinks on me. What would you like? The entire previous 45 minutes of frustration and this review would never have been written. But she is incapable of communicating. Of doing her job. I don't get it. Bartending jobs in south Florida are sought after!! These positions make TOP DOLLAR! This girl doesn't deserve this position. Other great things about this restaurant, the vibe! The selection of tequila! They have added fajitas!! THANK YOU! Their skinny margs are so good! They have Togo food area and to go drinks area! So good! Suggestion: the bar is pretty small, there is quite a bit of dead space in the front. Extend the bar area for a bigger bar!! People love it!

We came on Nov. 17, the night they launched their new menu. The food is too expensive for what you're given. The portions are not the issue, it's the flavor combinations. I think they're trying to add too much complexity to the tacos and end up overloading your palette with flavors that don't match well. The service was slow and at one point we thought our server went home for the night, though it was only 8pm. The noisy patrons at the bar combined with a cramped atmosphere suggested that this restaurant would be better off serving cheap simple tacos. Very confused by this place's identity and desired audience. I tried the Korean short rib, pork belly, and chicken Al pastor tacos. Rice and beans that came with the platter was fine.

I will never bring my family there again.there was some substance dripping from the felling vent. Food took a century to come I could of loaded gta by then the lady singing was blowing my ear drums and we caught are server playing with him self in the bathroom

We loved the pork belly, crispy chicken, and crispy pork tacos. Bethany (Betty) was awesome too! So good that we will probably come back tomorrow! Edit: we did indeed go back next day. This time tried the green salsa on Anthony's suggestion. So tangy and good!

Honestly I'm tired of being lied to, I ask tacos, I should receive tacos in a reasonable amount of time. Not watch other people come, order, receive and nearly finish their food, pay and leave when I place the order before I even get there! This was straight disrespectful and for an overpriced Taco place, I would expect more from the people "working" in this place. Not lying to me and saying "they are packing it up now" 5 times before I get my food after 30 minutes of waiting!!

Taco craft, food was tasty ambience was great, there was a live band, one person and it was really loud. We were able to get seated faster than expected and the food came out pretty quickly. Everything was what we ordered. overall a great experience recommended.

This place was pretty busy for 1pm on a Monday! They had a great deal for Monday margaritas which tasted delicious. As for the tacos, $8 per taco felt a little pricey but I was pleasantly full after two tacos! I LOVED the grouper taco with the mango and the chorizo taco with the egg on top was good too. We started with the chips and salsa but I really want to try the guac flight next time.

We really enjoyed the drinks and food here. I got the prickly pear margarita, guacamole flight, and the choose three tacos with the mahi, cod, and seared tuna. We shared yuca fries as well. We sat outside. Service was a little slow as it was busy but the food quality made up for it for sure. Would def return

I really wanted to love this place but just a few things kept it from being the best. The corn tortillas were barely cooked so the taco shells fell apart way too easy, and were cold. The service was just ok but wish it came with small sides of salsa without having to buy a big one. Overall great atmosphere but the food is better on looks than execution

Some of the best tacos I've been able to find in South Florida after living in Southern CA my whole life. Drinks are good too. Down a star because the DJ/ Live music they often have is WAY too loud (and not usually very good at that). Can hardly hear anything when it's on and having to yell to talk to the person you're with isn't good to me. The rice has also been awful the last 2 times I went (a couple weeks apart).

Tacocraft is one our favorite stops while in the Fort Lauderdale area!! We always aim for happy hour for the lower prices - we order multiple Mexican corns, and at least one each of the taco on the happy hour menu. SO good!! Try it out, if you're on the fence give them a try!! Sometimes they even have live music!

Why would management have a solo singer on a night with a full band playing right here on commercial? Do you not want to be part of the lbts community? Have some common management sense! Look that the Friday night band schedule and plan accordingly!

Another incredible experience with some friends for a lunchtime feeding. The staff and decor are always so inviting. They have really done an incredible job of providing quality atmosphere, food, drinks, and service. We had a pretty sizeable group (around 15), so we were able to call ahead of time to let them know. They were gladly able to accommodate us. There was a two person band playing a wide range of music and setting the atmosphere for a good time. When the band wasn't playing, there were still tunes to be heard, making you want to stay partying and relaxing with your friends, enjoying great cocktails. It was just that kind of day. The food took a little longer, which is understandable given our size, but the drinks were out quickly, and they were so good. I had the Mango Mezcal Margarita. It was crisp, with a hint of smoke, and delicious!!! To eat, I tried the aguachile; similar to a shrimp ceviche with a little more spice. There was a lot of shrimp and the flavors really popped. One of my friends tried the ceviche, the pork belly taco, and the yucca fries. And washed it all down with a tequila old fashioned. Everyone had a great time. And the atmosphere and service were amazing. All of the right vibes in all the right places, sharing a little of the South Florida goodness, with Mexican themed cuisine. Definitely check them out.
