The Birria Taco is highly recommended!! The meat was tender and flavor was very good! I tried the El Pastor and it was a little dry and the flavor didn’t absorb past the top layer. I also had the shrimp taco and the flavor was good with a splash of lime on top. The street corn in a cup is a good side to the tacos. Also, the pineapple and watermelon is freshly made and a delicious pairing! Our waiter was attentive and happy to explain all the dishes. He was great!

Great tacos and guacamole. Husband said this is the closest to a Mexican taco he has had. We have been here three times in 2 months, all experiences were very good. Service will be slow to many but great for us, we don’t like to feel pushed out. Try beef birria, the best!

Great authentic Mexican spot. Rustic and simple interior with plenty of seating outside as well. Good Menu options with a bit of everything some nice Mexican drink options to add and really friendly and attentive service made this a great experience.

It was amazing . Just go . You don’t need any other review . Just go The food was top notch, you use little mini golf pencils to fill in a piece of paper with how many of each taco you want . The menu isn’t huge which is a plus . It’s straight to the point . You want tacos? Awesome we have tacos . It’s on theme , but like a lot of restaurants in Miami but soft drinks are bottles only , and I’m a stereotypical American and I need a gallon of coke with my meal but I’m not taking any points away for that .

Imagine service so terrible that the various food you order come out cold and twenty minutes apart. Additionally it takes fifteen minutes for a server to speak to you in a half empty restaurant. Well we have this wynwood tacombi location here, been here for the grand opening and it was good and patronized the design distract one many times before. Well this place has all new staff from my last visit and they’re utterly rude and disrespectful. As them for anything they will take their sweet time and do other stuff. This time in my life had to talk to a manager.

Would have been 5starts if it were for the lack of service, literally NON-EXISTENT. We were greeted and walked to a table, they asked about chips and guac. Then 10 minutes later they picked up our orders, another 10 minutes before our drinks arrived with the first taco. The tacos came out one at a time, slowly. This place was maybe 20% full. The FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING AMAZING AND EVERYTHING WE WANTED. It's really too bad to have such great food that can't get served well. It took us 10 minutes after the plates were cleared to get someone to bring the check. Super cute space

Just outside the Walls museum, great spot for taco’s etc. Great staff, fantastic food and good atmosphere. We had avo tostada, fish taco and quesadilla. All great.

Google
Nice place next to Wynwood walls! Went here after going around gen art district. The menu was varied and the corn esquites were amazing! We had four tacos and the shrimp and the baja crispy fish were the best ones!

Yelp
Reviews are quite deceiving. After exploring the Wynwood walls, we were looking a lunch place. This place was closet and great ratings. Naturally we picked this one. Decent ambiance. Nothing great. Looked like a shack that's expanded a little bit. They will give us the menu and we have to mark the items & quantity we need. Nobody was really around to ask about the options. We picked the chicken quesadillas & tacos and Avocado Tostadas. Service was quite fast, the tacos arrived in no time; followed by the quesadillas and tostadas. Quantity was not adequate at all. The tacos were filled with more onions than chicken. Also saw the first time a quesadilla done with chicken scattered on a cheese melted tortilla. Tostada was decent. Their water was so cold that I asked for a bottled water and they charged me $5 + tax for it. Lol It's a $ place, but still it's a rip off! I understand it's Miami, but I have been to places here offering better quality & quantity! Decent food, Not a big fan!

Yelp
Ode to baja crispy fish Fish taco delight, Crunchy, spicy, pure delight, I'd swim for this bite.

Yelp
This is a difficult review. We were there for lunch on a Tuesday ... taco Tuesday, 2 for the price of 1. Sounded great. Of course you are charged for the most expensive item of the two with the tacos. We understand that. Then we were told that the avocado tostado was also 2 for 1 .... It was the least expensive compared to the taco prices. We mistakenly understood that the tostadas were separate 2 for 1 and the tacos were 2 for one. Not that the tostadas counted as the least priced item. The food ... was ok. I really enjoy their avocado tostadas. Two are a meal. The tacos - birria, carne asada, and fried fish - were ok. The fish had little flavor; the toppings made it tasty. It would help if we were told what to do with consume on the birria; my husband enjoyed it. I felt the tortillas on the birria and asada were too greasy. Other inconsistencies at the Design District Tacombi turned my husband off of the restaurant. Our waiter was great. Just not clear about the misleading prices. I just wish the pricing was more clear.

Yelp
One of my favorite casual Mexican spots is The Taco Stand, but this past weekend I decided to give Tacombi a try. I have recently heard good things about Tacoma and it did not disappoint! I had their pineapple aqua Fresca and esquire's -- so good! I plan on returning to try more of their menu items.

Yelp
We went to kill before a birthday party, and I was so impressed! The decoration is on point; I love its vibe and feel! The service was outstanding and quick; we had four different tacos, very rich in flavor! My favorites were the baja crispy fish taco and black bean & sweet potato! The margarita was a little sweet but good overall I would say it's overpriced for the sizes but worth the experience!

Yelp
So stoked for Tacombi. They're my favorite tacos in Miami. I love to see them spreading throughout Miami! This is definitely their largest location. It's got a nice outdoor space and I can see this being a great nightlife/hangout spot. As usual, the tacos were spot on. Loved the Al pastor and the hongos!

Shania M.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of attending there opening day event. I love seeing restaurants expand! The lay out of the restaurant is open with bright colors. I love the ordering process, it's on a card and you can input the amounts of each taco you'll like. Pricing is a little much especially for one single taco. Let's get into the bites, I tried everything! I truly loved the guacamole and corn esquites. Both of them are packed with so much flavor. Out of the all the tacos the chicken had to be the best one. They all individually needed more seasoning added to them. The drinks were strong and tasty. Definitely added onto the good time I had.

Yelp
No. I had such high hopes for tacombi and such a bad experience. I lived around the corner from their delayed construction and was so excited for a new taco place to open. When I finally made it there the rude service, extremely high pricing, confusing, atmosphere and poor tasting food ruined it for me. This is a poor concept style restaurant- they want tables to check their orders off on a paper, but rely on a waitress for rude/slow service. She was frustrated when we handed her two tickets implying two checks. Also weird that you have to wait for her to be seated only to fill out your own slip?? Not for me

Yelp
Absolutely terrific! Don't be fooled by its unassuming look, this is authentic tacos done to perfection! We started with delightful crunchy hand made totopos (fried triangles of corn tortilla chips) with chunky, delicious guacamole. For beverages, hubby got the Sandía Santa (tequila, watermelon & lime) and I opted for a Margarita. Goodness! These were tasty drinks. For entrees we each got tacos al pastor, he had the taco carne asada and I had a Baja crispy fish. Man! We were in heaven. Tacos like these are done so simply, authentically, and elegantly. So fresh and perfect. We haven't had anything close to this outside of Mexico. Wow! There are many taco places and other places in Wynwood serving Mexican fare. I don't believe any can beat this. We sat outside in the patio area which is casual yet charming. The servers were friendly, attentive, fun, and helpful. We needed a little assistance because, how it works is you have a simple menu/ordering slip. You check off what you'd like and how many and then give it to your server. Again- simple and delicious!

Johanna M.

Yelp
$7 a taco IS WILD FOR WHAT YOU GET. Honestly no flavor on the steak maybe there was salt but other than salt no seasoning plus they only give you one tortilla not authentic at all. The only topping for the carne asada was grilled onions not even a pico. Very disappointed I took one bite and left the rest. The sodas are also flat no burping will be happening.

Yelp
I'm going to write this review the way Tacombi makes their tacos al pastor: the first star is the tortilla, the second star the pastor, the third star the onions, the fourth star the cilantro.. wait, where's the cilantro?? And the fifth star is the salsa.. do you call this salsa?? I remember the good ol' days when Tacombi's salsas still had the chunk, bits and pieces that distinguish a salsa from a sauce. Before Tacombi was another victim of rising labor costs and inflation. Those were beautiful days. Now we have to cope with overpriced tacos that still don't taste like home. I can deal with the overpriced part. It's the lack of consistency and authenticity that initially got me hooked on Tacombi that gets me. But I keep coming back expecting the level of quality I initially experienced like the fifty-year-old raver going to Space expecting to hear Armin Van Buuren and instead getting Fredagain and Skrillex. Not saying that Fredagain sucks. It's just not early 2000s techno. I digress. When can we get real salsas back and is cilantro really that expensive?

Yelp
The new location is conveniently located. There is an outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating. I have visited plenty of the New York locations. It's exciting to get multiple spots in Miami. If you have never visited. You can bring large groups and order from a sheet with a lotto pencil. You note the sheet with the amount of tacos you would like. I recommend to taste the mesquites which is a corn cup with fixing such as Parmesan cheese and chipotle sauce. They have an assortment of tacos from mushrooms tacos, carnitas (meat), and steak. The drinks... you can order Micheladas, margaritas, and Mexican beers. There is also Lupita pop sodas and topo chico bottles. This location is going to be a great atmosphere and place to eat.

Yelp
Taste good the tacos are really small I wish they gave more birra consumè since the tacos were kind of dry. The service was amazing overall the workers are kind and quick. The ambiance was amazing my favorite part I love the sinks and the bathroom it's so cute.

Yelp
This freely was must... I really love all the perks! Delicious drinks... the owner is really nice and down to earth. I plan on supporting this place just for the fact that the customer service was on point.

Yelp
Food is horrific. Tacos gave me the absolute worst stomach ache and the taste was sub-par at best. Service was okay. Server was nice but food took long to come out Visually this location is appealing which is part of the reason why I walked in but if you care just a tad about what you are eating, DO NOT eat at this place. The outdoor seating might as well be a freezer because there is a wind tunnel that blows all the cold AC outside and feels like ur getting blow dried with cold air. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Yelp
Brand new location, what's not to like. The tacos are quite tasty, and the restaurant is huge. Love the outside patio, plenty of room to congregate or just dance. The Palomas and margaritas suuuuuuuper tasty. Will be coming back soon

Doug R.

Yelp
Saw this place just opened and stopped in for a few tacos and a margarita with a friend. It was great. Love the authentic Mexican vibe. Had an amazing beef birria taco. The dipping sauce was spot on. The al pastor taco was good. The corn esquites was more like elotes but good. If you are in Wynwood and want a quick taco and beer or margarita check it out!

Eduardo L.

Yelp
Amazing tacos, super authentic, one huge problem! Taco doesn't work without the right Salsas and Tacombi should know this. Up your salsa game !

David C.

Yelp
Me sentí como en casa con los tacos de la esquina bien añoro se un par de al pastor fueron bastante buenos muy originales eso si lo único que faltó es haber venido con más hambre will be back

Sharlene F.

Yelp
Was invited to eat here with a friend! I was welcome by a friendly gentleman named Miguel ! Since it was my first time, I asked for a few suggestions and they told me their favorite. I went for the corn, the fish taco and a margarita! Fire! Everything was so flavorful! I will definitely come back ! Shoutout to the friendly staff and amazing food !

Heather J.

Yelp
Come in out of the heat! The staff is so nice, it's clean, including the bathrooms. The beef birria taco is a must and the rice and beans are amazing, the margarita is awesome!

Dai R.

Yelp
Bad customer service . The owner was very rude and angry the whole time . Was even arguing with me because the food got my friend sick and my friend threw up . Instead of calling for help the owner was showing no empathy at all .

Henri L.

Yelp
Exceptional food, service and atmosphere! Tacombi has arrived in Wynwood in a gorgeus space. Menu has a nice selection for everyone. I'll definitely look forward to spending time at Tacombi with my family and friends!
