We visited Taco Party while my mom was visiting from out of town. The guacamole was just as delicious as it was beautiful! We tried 4 different tacos and all of them were delicious! The service was also great, our server explained everything on the plate to us when she delivered our food. We both got the Poloma to drink which was also delicious. Will definitely be going back.

When we asked Taco Party to cater our wedding, we were only thinking about the incredible gourmet tacos they were going to provide. However, they went above and beyond and provided our guests with a truly unique, professional, and delicious experience. We couldn't be more grateful for Ryan and his team. Not only the best tacos in Grand Junction, But also the Best Wedding Caterer's as well. Delicious, professional, and consistent. We are so grateful!

Google
Superior food!!! Wow! Mezcal aloe melon margarita? Unbelievably delicious! The food surprisingly was even better! If you want an experience that you won’t forget, this is the place! I can’t say enough good about everything from the environment, the service and best of all the food! I had to travel to Grand Junction to taste some of the best food I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to eat here again! Highly highly recommend! Oh, vanilla tarragon, ice cream! Unbelievable! I wish I didn’t wolf down our food before I Left this review. I would’ve posted pictures.

Google
Delicious tacos, my personal favorite is the cauliflower. The chopped avocado guacamole changes slightly with fresh seasonal ingredients and is always impressive. Soft serve ice cream also a fantastic. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Lovely spot downtown.

Google
Stunningly creative and delicious food. Personable, friendly staff. Chill, lux vibe. Duck confit tostada is complex, untraditional and delicious. A dish I’d order again (and I have!) The guacamole is like no other guac I’ve had before. Not your every day guac, but a stunning local farm-to-table remix. All the food is like something you’d find from a James Beard Award-winning chef in a “big city.” And the staff was incredibly friendly - shout outs to John and Maddie. So happy this place is here in Grand Junction. Absolutely worth trying if you’re nearby. Just be sure to save room for the soft serve with cinnamon dusted pistachios.

Google
Great experience at Taco Party. My friend Tyler Harris at Reality One recommended the place for a lunch and I was pleasantly surprised! Large parking lot across the street. Family style, ordered the counter and sit down. Food was top notch! Kitchen was clean. Staff was super attentive and friendly. Even the tortilla chips were homemade!

Patrick K.

Google
Next level tacos! Amazing flavors with a foodie culinary elevated style to them! The Elote corn is a must try too.

Google
Three of us were in town for work and wanted a quick bite. I would describe the menu as bougie/fancy tacos. I found something to order. No fountain drinks, bottled soda $5 (each?, no thanks) we all drank water. Cactus Fries and sauce were the highlight for us. Chips and salsa was good, most salsas had little flavor. Service was enthusiastic, sincere, and pleasant. Probably not a place I’d return to again. Saturday night they closed up shop at 9pm. Good quality. Very clean.

Yelp
We stopped at Taco Party on our road trip home from Minnesota to California, and wow--what a gem. We tried several different tacos along with the guacamole, and everything was unique, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were creative without being over the top, and each taco felt like its own little masterpiece. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole place has a fun, laid-back vibe that instantly puts you in a good mood. We genuinely enjoyed everything about our stop here--food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend making this a stop if you're passing through Grand Junction!

Lindsey G.

Yelp
Love the ambiance! Great service! We enjoyed a prickly pear Paloma, El Jefe old fashion, and a pineapple cactus margarita! The tacos are amazing! Especially the pork belly al pastor!

Yelp
We visited Tacoparty for a dinner after hiking at Colorado National Monument for the day. I was still suffering a bit from food poisoning from the day before, so this is essentially a collection of quick notes that aren't completely fleshed out as normal: Pork Belly Al Pastor Taco ($7) - Is this really pork belly? It's more of a fatty-ish pork, kind of tough, not really tender like I'd associate with a nicely cooked pork belly. Nice sprinkling of cojita for salty, savory bite. Tangy, vinegary, crunchy peppers and onions. The al pastor is quite fruity and very porky in taste. Avocado sauce drizzled on top? Served on a nicely pliable and toothsome flour tortilla. Hot Fried Chicken Taco ($7) - Chicken is very smoky. Aioli mixed with huitlacoche, gives creaminess and a flavor I can't describe that well. Perhaps a bit of earthy mushroominess? The chicken is only a tiny bit spicy; in fact, I'd hardly call it "hot fried chicken". The "fried" part is kind of a misnomer as well. I guess it's fried, but it's fried so lightly that the batter doesn't develop any sort of crisp or crunch. There are julienned apple pieces included that add a nice sweetness to the taco, and are actually way more crisp than the chicken. Crispy Shell Pulled Pork Taco ($6) - Ingredients very scant. Barely any meat inside, maybe half an ounce. It's pretty good pulled pork, moist, but not much there. Plenty of veggies to round out the taco. Skip this one meh. Duck Confit Tostada ($9) - Crunchy blue corn fried tortilla flat on the bottom, topped with a bounty of ingredients. Firstly a layer of soft and creamy cheese spread on the bottom. There's the duck - a bit scant, but adding nice meatiness. There's hominy, adding a bit of a firm bite. A bunch of veggies. Topped with ezapote, giving an anise-like flavor with some minty notes. Sliced serrano - at first I thought these were jalapeno, but then a fire started in my mouth. Overall, all the tacos served at Tacoparty are very well put together with nice clean flavors. I did find it strange that everything arrived lukewarm to cold. This place is very pricey, double or triple the cost of more hole-in-the-wall taco shops (after tax/service charge, it was $37 for 4 tacos and the portion size was so small, we ended up getting more food elsewhere). They do make up for the price difference somewhat in quality. I think there's a bit of identity confusion here though. They try to be upscale in pricing, plating, and ingredient sourcing, but it's fast casual/counter service. Still, for an upscale taco (but not necessarily experience), Tacoparty can't be beat. Note: Tacoparty charges an 18% service charge, which is advertised on the menu and the cashier informs all customers about it. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms

Lori L.

Yelp
So good! Guacamole, pork belly taco were great with unexpected and delicious ingredients. But the showstopper was the Mexican tarragon vanilla ice cream with pistachio topping!
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
The food is fun and trendy but it's very pricey for what you get!! For this price I would expect a full sit down service and a nicer seating aesthetic. The guacamole is amazing! Not a bad experience but for a family of 4 it was $135+ for a few tacos and an order of guacamole.
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I pass through Grand Junction, this is where I'm going to eat. I love the innovative combinations of flavors--I wish I had a bigger stomach, so I could try all of the tacos at once! I also love how much of their menu is gluten-free. I went with my parents most recently, and we each got different tacos so we could sample a bunch of options. My personal ranking was: cauliflower, al pastor, duck, then brisket, but even that 4th place taco was still FANTASTIC. There's no shame in coming in last when everything tasted amazing! We also all had the watermelon agua fresca, which was superb. My mom thought it was a touch too sweet, but my dad and I were very happy with it. The guacamole is killer--fresh and uniquely flavorful. The chips are corn, but they share a fryer with things that contain gluten, so gluten-free folks should use their best judgment. The waitstaff were fabulous as well and made excellent recommendations to suit my dietary needs. I also love the elegantly funky ambiance. This place rocks!
google avatar

Richie H.

Yelp
Hate to say it but lived in GJ my whole life and finally made it to TacoParty. Started with the guacamole. And it is a must it is not your regular guacamole. Please see picture. Tacos are not your normal tacos either. But the favor is unmatched. Presentation is what you would find at a high end restaurant and the quality of the food is high class. No wonder the head chef was up for a James Beard award. That is all I need to say.
google avatar

Alana Z.

Yelp
Okay Grand Junction food scene, I see you!!! Tacoparty really exceeded my expectations in the taco realm. I am generally a medium fan of tacos. I like them but I don't love them. Tacoparty out here making me feel some type of way!!! I had the cauliflower and the rockfish taco. Both were extremely tasty. The cauliflower taco was so flavorful with its mole and the cauliflower was cooked to a perfect texture. The rockfish had a delicious slaw and sauce and the flour tortilla rounded it out. 10/10 on these tacos. Okay let's talk about that guac. Wowie. Furikake? On guac? Eff yeah. I would highly recommend a trip here if you're in town! It's technically a work-a-rant since you have to order at the counter but I will forgive them for this as the food is just so freaking delish.
google avatar

Barbara R.

Yelp
This place was highly recommended so we went for lunch. Wow! Easily the most creative and delicious tacos we have ever eaten. Options ranged from pulled pork to hand dipped cod to duck confit, but also a hot honey chicken and a beef brisket taco. We have even returned to try the rest of the menu, including the renowned guacamole. Please don't miss this place if you're visiting like we are...truly unique! Cute and trendy place, too. Forewarned- they do charge an automatic 18% gratuity but the service is really good.
google avatar

Ethan R.

Yelp
Excellent food and excellent service. However, I really don't appreciate the mandatory 18% "gratuity" . The sign on the wall says I am required to give you this money because you believe your staff did a good job. I don't disagree that they do a good job - the service was spectacular. - but if you feel they are that valuable to your business, perhaps you should pay them more and allow us to tip them if I believe the service is good. The mandatory 18% "gratuity" is not a gratuity, it's a fee But again, overall, the food and service was fantastic
google avatar

April F.

Yelp
The menu is small but mighty! We tried all the tacos! The chips and salsa trio.. ALL the tacos were delish! Truly the best tacos we have had in quite a while. The pork al pastor was by far the best taco. The chips are so tasty!! The red salsa was so good that we bought some and took it home! If you haven't tried this place, you have been missing out!
google avatar

Yelp
Tacoparty, STAT! I'm a HUGE fan of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (aka Triple D) with host Guy Fieri! When I watched an episode about Tacoparty in a neighboring city an hour away...I just had to go!!! Let me just say...I was in total awe of the episode and was literally salivating over the tacos and homemade guacamole, but to actually experience it IRL was AH-MAZING!! First off, the place was getting busy by the minute, the vibe was super cool and the overall restaurant and decor was my kinda place! Plenty of seating, a cool bar and I loved the artwork and skateboards adorning the walls! On to the food! We ordered some chips and guac (I'll get back to that). For the tacos, we got the hot fried chicken, crispy cauliflower, pork belly al pastor and the yam calabacitas. Holy mother of street tacos! They were all so delish and actually a lot bigger and more filling than I expected! And that guac...OMG...it was almost too pretty to eat...apple, radish pico, serrano, herbs and amaranth furikake...google it ;-) The service was excellent and quite honestly, they were the best tacos I've ever had! Highly recommend! Your BEST Tacoparty awaits!
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
Taco Party is amazing! We were in town for a work trip and it hit the spot. It is trendy but is loved by locals and travelers alike it seems. The guacamole is a must. Margaritas - unique! Tacos are adventurous. Get outside your comfort zone and give this place a try!
google avatar

Bailey L.

Yelp
I considered giving them a three only because I didn't love most of what I got....but that cauliflower taco was so incredible I had to bump to a 4. I really wanted to try the pork belly taco but they were out of that by the time we arrived, which to their benefit was close to closing time. The chips were really good, nice and crunchy but the salsa wasn't our fave. For being a roasted salsa it was good, but that's just not our personal favorite kind of salsa. The skinny marg was odd...it had a weird flavor we couldn't quite put our finger on. And also tasted of very heavy fake lime juice...would def not order again. Overall we will definitely be back, but I will be trying others things in hopes of liking them as much as that delicious cauliflower taco.

Yelp
Food is great. They Got rid of the socialist tipping program which was smart. Very expensive for tacos 4 tacos & chips and salsa $60+ lol
google avatar

Mehul P.

Yelp
The food and ambience were great and service was fantastic. The fried chicken taco was a hit.
google avatar

Wayzie C.

Yelp
We stop in at TacoParty as a must when in GJ. The food is just so fresh and flavorful and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. We love the soft serve ice cream, the cocktails, the great atmosphere and food. One of the foodie bright spots on the Western Slope!
google avatar

Wicke T.

Yelp
came here after eating at fiesty pint because we wanted to hit both DDD places in town. so we ordered some tacos to go. I got the hot fried chicken taco and would order it over and over. also got the cactus appetizer, its expensive but you do get a lot ! and was also good. will comeback if passing through.

katie m.

Yelp
Amazing food and phenomenal service! Stopped in while passing through town on a road trip and glad we did. Had the 4 different tacos and the guacamole. Everything was delicious but the guacamole was to die for. Others mentioned a service chance; however, we were notified at the register that has been removed. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Lily S.

Yelp
What a chic modern eatery! There are some pretty creative stuff on the menu. To keep matters simple, the four of us ordered one of each taco so we can have our own little sampling party. Guac to start things off. The only other time I had better guac was when it was mixed in front of me. Tacoparty's guac is also freshly made. They mix a lot of fresh ingredients on top you almost don't see the avocado (but can definitely taste it)! The seasoning used reminds me of fureikaki which is Japanese so this makes the dish pretty fushioned. Actually so are their tacos. Almost all of them taste new and exciting. Granted it's not the best tacos I've had but I would eat here again if given the opportunity. We also got the trout and at first I thought it was salmon as it had that signature salmon color. The fish was grilled to perfection and tasted fresh. The last best thing was the Szechuan honey peach soft serve! We were visiting palisade for peaches and this ice cream still had noticeable peachy flavors even after we spent all day eating fresh peaches! With a little kick of spicy and sweetness. We regret not getting an additional one to share.
google avatar

Tony L.

Yelp
Good tacos, but little else to choose from. Added 18% tip before we we had any service. No issues, but the tip should be based on the service. I may have tipped more, but not up front.
google avatar

Vince C.

Yelp
Good same boring tacos no! Most unique and delicious food I've ever had stuff was great five stars all the way
google avatar

Anne T.

Yelp
So fingers licking DELICIOUS, from Denver never had home that explosive flavors and colors in a plate! Peach gastrique, flowers and so on... Well done ! Mojito peach again sooooo good! We will be back anytime we go camping in the area, LOVE LOVED LOVED it ! WOW !
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
My new favorite taco joint. The guacamole is the best I've ever had! Got the Al Pastor and brisket tacos they were fantastic with large chunks of meat. Definitely try their homemade hot sauce. The service is amazing too. Very attentive staff that brought everything before we even knew we needed it.
google avatar

Kurt P.

Yelp
The Tacos are delicious , but $46 dollars for 3 tacos + a kids taco & quesadilla (6" tortilla) is too much. It also took 20 minutes with a pretty empty restaurant Food is good, but pricey and kinda slow
google avatar

Ed B.

Yelp
Very good flavor but extremely expensive for what you get. After spending $16 I was still hungry. But the thing that really angered me was they charged 18% for takeout. 18% for handing me something. I will not be back.

C C.

Yelp
Holy cow these tacos are incredible! The pork belly was yummy and the hot sauce is delicious!! I got 3 tacos but could have easily eaten a 4th--- they are small street tacos. Very pricey but worth it!
google avatar

Allan A.

Yelp
Amazing taco party margarita! Cauliflower taco, brisket taco and shishito pepper app delicious! They step it up with unique perfection !! The sister restaurant win a James Beard award.
google avatar

Ken U.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Stumbled across this gem, great tacos, great drinks, great appetizers. Fun ambience. Some of the best tacos I have had. Will come back for sure.
google avatar

Devyn A.

Yelp
Over priced and not worth it in my opinion the meat was very dry. The decor was cool but service wasn't as good as it should have been for the price of EVERYTHING. We ordered 3 apps and 2 tacos each and there was almost no seasoning.

Katy H.

Yelp
I have celiac disease, so finding a safe place to eat is always difficult. I was excited to see they had GF items on their menu. When I went to order, they told me that they didn't have dedicated fryers and steered me towards other options. The food was AMAZING. I could have stopped at the Guacamole, but went on to have pork tacos, which were so tender. If I make my way back to Grand Junction, I'll definitely stop again.
google avatar

Di S.

Yelp
Delicious guacamole and perfect tacos. The staff was incredibly sweet and very patient with my two toddlers. We will definitely be coming back here for another easy lunch spot!
google avatar

Nabil I.

Yelp
We stopped here on the way from Denver to Moab. Employees are cool. We ordered a few tacos and elote and I did feel like it took a bit longer than expected but that's not an issue. The interior decor is nice, they have skateboards hanging up around the place. We overall had a good time. The elote was not bad but it definitely was a little different than I'm used to. You should give it a try! Thanks!

Ashley J.

Yelp
Best tacos in grand junction. And the service is the best! Definitely try this place out.
google avatar

Noe N.

Yelp
The food was surprisingly very delicious. Not your typical tacos, but I highly recommend coming in and giving them a try! The service was impeccable! Timely! All staff members looked like they truly enjoyed being there servicing their customers! You come in and am immediately greeted with a bright, vibrant and welcoming ambiance! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you to my Lyft driver Candie for the recommendation!

Yelp
Met the family for lunch at Tacoparty while visiting family over the holiday weekend. GJ isn't known for their restaurants, but there are some gems out there and Tacoparty is one of them. The service was outstanding and everything we ordered was very good. We ordered chips, guac, elote, fried nopales, fish tacos, kfc tacos, cauliflower tacos, sweet yam tacos and the agua fresca of the day. The hit of the table was the elote which was spicy and packed a punch. The nopales were very good and my only critique is that the batter was a little too thick and they could've used salt after they came out of the fryer. The cauliflower taco was very good and I wish I would've asked for a corn tortilla but the flour tortilla held up nicely to the sauce. My husband's favorite was the sweet yam taco because it was nicely seasoned and flavorful. My least favorite was the guacamole which I've ordered before. I think the flavors are unique but it lacks salt, especially if you don't get a chip that's salted. The agua fresca was watermelon which was nice, pulpy and superb. The prices are very steep, coming from someone who lives in SoCal. I had a bit of sticker shock when my portion of the bill came to $67 and the total spent for 4 of us was $125 before tip. The meal was delicious and company was even better.

Sean H.

Yelp
Food - 5 starts, always. Ambiance - 5 stars, killin it with the design and vibe. One particular employee - 2/5.... We came in for dinner to use a Gift card we were gifted. When we came in it was not busy and there was a couple in front of us online ordering. When they finished their order this employee left the front, didn't say anything and left us up there for several minutes till someone else came to order. Annoying, but not a huge deal... We ordered a couple tacos and a couple appetizers and a margarita. We sat outside and everything started coming out and then we were waiting for quite a while, over 20 minutes for our second appetizer and nothing came. After a while, I decided to go inside and I saw this same Employee. I approached the front and she said what's up. I said hey, we've been waiting a while and haven't gotten our appetizer... she said, did you get everything else? I replied yeah, we've just been waiting a while for this and she said did you get your guacamole? I said yes and then she said OK hang on. Then she walked away. no apology, no oh I'm so sorry We forgot that. Let me get right on it. Nothing. Felt like a real screw you don't really care that you're here kind of moment. I have no expectation of perfection in any restaurant, because we're all people and we make mistakes. But I don't think it's too much to ask that when a mistake is made you just say sorry we messed up. Let me get that fixed for you. really makes me question if I wanna come back here, even just to use the rest of my gift card. We come to TP at least a couple times a month and this experience makes me question coming back. Sucks Tuesday 3/25 6:30PM

Lisa E.

Yelp
Food was good but 18% gratuity up front? Service was not that great. No refills offered asked for extra napkins because the food we were eating was messy. Never received any, Never checked on us after food was brought. Did not earn 18% gratuity.
google avatar

Serafin K.

Yelp
The food was good but way overpriced. Especially for ordering at a counter with 18% automatically added. Nothing wrong in particular but not worth the price in my opinion
google avatar

Coe H.

Yelp
This is our fave taco place in town. It's gastro-inspired menu is unique and full of flavor. I love the braised bison tacos, el pastor taco, twice fried yam taco, and the tostada. They garnish with edible flowers. The house margs have a dried hibiscus salt rim and simple flavor. It's all so good and the service and quality never disappoints! Heads Up - They do automatically add an 18% gratuity/surcharge for every order.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
We got take out after stopping here from our La to Denver drive. I love when restaurants know how to pack takeout properly and got to enjoy our delicious food at the best western. The service was nice although we didn't dine in - the inside was fun! Next time when we don't have the dogs would love to dine in!
google avatar

Chris O.

Yelp
Fun and funky concept in downtown Grand Junction that has a seasonal rotating menu of street tacos. Careful with the old photos on Yelp -- inflation has dramatically raised prices and reduced the offerings on the menu (no more bulk taco offerings -- you pay per taco). The tacos were pretty good but pricing left a lot to be desired. The kids tacos lacked flavor and weren't all that substantial (a tortilla with a piece of dry fried chicken in it) -- both of my kids left hungry and wanted food from somewhere else. Chips and salsa were good. Margaritas were great. Prices are nuts, though.

Veronica S.

Yelp
Its extremely flavorful but pricey. But highly recommend crispy pulled pork, shishito peppers and al pastor brisket. Tacos and the Mexican lager on draft is tasty.
google avatar

Angela V.

Yelp
Great service at this unique taco place in Grand Junction, CO. The food was excellent with great presentation. I felt the menu was limited, not a pork eater and there wasn't a chicken or beef option. Pricing was high but not familiar with the area pricing to compare

Tina W.

Yelp
First Bin 707 went downhill. Now Taco Party has as well. I took friends there for the first time and ordered my favorite Pork Belly taco. It was drowning in sauce that made it tough to taste any pork belly. They got rid of the Negroni and instead had a repesado old fashioned that was so sweet and doused in cinnamon that it was hard to drink. My friends had to send some of their food back because it was terrible. It makes me sad that 2 of my favorite restaurants just don't care anymore.

Susan K.

Yelp
Nice menu - small but interesting. The service was terrific. They were so kind to our grandchildren. It's a find!

Guy A.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place!! Service was great, tacos are inventive, creative and delicious. I was in town for 2 full days, ate here both times for lunch
google avatar

Carrie C.

Yelp
Hot damn! You must eat here while in Grand Junction! If you are looking for a fun, foodie restaurant without the hefty price tag, this is the place to check out. The staff was amazing with great suggestions both from the menu and just around town. The guacamole is some of the best I've had with some unique toppings. It was super tasty with the chipotle salsa as well. They do pulled pork so well!! Definitely try the cactus and elote! Also, don't skip the soft serve. Good lord, the peach Szechuan soft serve was amazing!

Yelp
Ain't no party like a taco party. After getting my mind (and palate) blown at Bin 707 Foodbar last summer, I knew I had to add Tacoparty to my bookmarks for when I passed through Grand Junction again. Well after a wonderful winter morning at the Monument, me and the boys took advantage of Taco Tuesday. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. On a Tuesday at 11:45am. In January! Wow, we knew right off the bat the food must be incredible. You order at the counter and whoever was running the show last Tuesday deserves a raise/shout out. He worked the whole line efficiently with charisma and knowledge. We feasted. Chips and guac is served with furikake, radish and apple FTW. It's new school guac but damn, it's tasty. The kicker were the serrano peppers on the side and crispy and fresh tortilla chips. You can tell not only it's made in house, but made to order! As you can see from my pictures, we ordered like 12 tacos between the three of us. Hey man, it's a taco party after all! The Grilled Ruby Red Trout Taco was quite possibly the BEST (and I hate to use that word) fish taco I've ever had. And I lived on the Atlantic Coast for most of my life. It was just so unique and the flavors played off of each other perfectly. As soon as we took a bite, we shared a unison look of "how the hell are these so good?" An extraordinary taco if there ever was one! Not be outdone were the Fried Chicken, Pork Belly Al Pastor and Bison Birria Tacos. I expected a little more oomph from the latter and these were surprisingly all of our least favorite. However the other two were top notch, with extreme flavor and and balance. And that the end of the day, I'm more of takeout-taco-container-from-a-food-truck-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-kind-of-guy. HOWEVER, Tacoparty is the textbook definition of utilizing regional ingredients and elevating a humble taco into something more than you can wrap your head around. Incredibly creative and legendary tacos in Grand Junction!
