What first caught my eye was the simplicity and boldness of the logo--it's clean, eye-catching, and the name itself is intriguing enough to make you want to step inside and see what it's all about. Now, a heads-up: parking can be a bit of a hassle, especially on a busy day. There's no dedicated lot, so parallel parking is your best bet. I wouldn't recommend ignoring any posted signs--it's not worth the ticket.
Once you're inside, the place is clean and well-kept. Seating is either bar stools or standing, so it's more of a quick, casual spot than a sit-down kind of place. They've got a self-serve soda setup with the ice stored separately in a cooler next to the dispenser. The syrup quality was solid, and the ice tasted clean--always a good sign when eating out.
There's also a salsa bar with a pretty impressive range--from mild to "why did I do this?" My favorite by far was the green salsa. I swear, I could eat that stuff on top of an old tennis shoe--it was that good. Tangy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat.
The menu covers the usual suspects--tacos, burritos, and quesadillas--but they've also got some specialties, like the tacos perrones I ordered. It's a flour tortilla layered with melted cheese, your choice of protein, pinto beans, guacamole, onions, and cilantro. I got it as a combo with rice, beans, and a drink, and the price was honestly a steal.
The tacos were solid--you could taste each element as you chewed, which I appreciated. The only downside was the meat being a bit on the tough side and not as juicy as I'd hoped. That said, the staff was super helpful and attentive, and overall, the quality of ingredients and value for the price definitely make me want to come back.
