I've been to their Bird Road food truck many times, but tonight was my first time here. We had to wait at the bar first to get seated, but then got a great table, half with chairs and half with a comfy couch. They had 2 DJs playing music which made it a little hard to talk. They had an enclosed outdoor area, also. It might be hard for visitors to believe, but tonight's a cold Miami night so the enclosed area was full of people. We started off with some guacamole and chips. I got a Black Widow Cider ( their only choice) which I thought had a blackberry taste. Very nice. I'll never drink tequila again (no time for that story) but have to admit the ones coming to our table looked pretty good. None of our group of six had been here before, but everyone loved their food. I got ahi tuna tacos. The waiter warned they were small, but that was fine with me. I was surprised by what I got. There was a lot of tuna piled up on 3 circular disks that were thick and very crunchy and about 3" in diameter. They were VERY tasty, but to me they weren't tacos. The shell wasn't flour or corn, and the shell was incapable of being folded and smaller than any mini taco I've ever seen. It suited me fine, but I suspect from the waiters warning that they'd gotten complaints, so I would think they'd modify the offering to meet traditional expectations. The rest of our crew were highly satisfied with their tacos and quesadillas. The vibe was pretty upscale for a taco place. We asked, and learned their name was because their first food truck, before Lincoln on Bird, was by a tattoo shop. Glad we found this place!
