"Tacos & Tequila, the Mexican restaurant known for its over-the-top brunch and extensive margarita options, is making a comeback at Palace Station. The restaurant will occupy 4,000 square feet in the former Little Tony’s space and is set to open by the end of 2021. Returning menu favorites include shrimp quesadilla, beef barbacoa enchiladas, and #1 Alambre. The drink menu will feature margaritas like the T&T top shelf and over 100 types of tequilas." - Susan Stapleton

Best Service!!!! The chips and salsa were to die for. The chips were hot and tasted homemade. YUMMY!!! Great happy hour and affordable prices and the drinks were strong. Loved this little restaurant inside of Palace Station in Las Vegas. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Tacos & Tequila is the best Mexican food restaurant that we ate at in Vegas. Tacos & Tequila is located inside Palace Station just off the casino floor next to Panda Express and Wing Stop. The service was excellent, thanks to our waiter Chris who posed for one of my photos and the atmosphere inside Tacos & Tequila was amazing as well as the food. Hands down one of the best places that my group and I ate at while in Vegas. If you like Mexican food and you are in Las Vegas, then this is the place that I would recommend with highest honors to your taste buds and stomach. I hope that this gives all that read this some peace of mind in deciding where to dine while in Vegas.

I came here with my pops and had a really nice time. The staff was accommodating and checked up on us often. I enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa and my entree was good as well. I had an enchilada, it wasn’t the typical Mexican enchilada you get though. The rice was meh but beans were a yes. The taquitos were my favorite!

Love love love this place. Food is extremely good everything we had was flavorful and big portions. I got a mix of the shrimp tacos both were extremely good and my husband had carnitas taco and a carne asada taco and also a chicken enchilada. Everything was delicious especially the carnitas taco it was so juicy. We will definitely be back.

I went in today to pick up movie tickets. On my way out notice tacos and tequila! I had never been there. So I decided to have some lunch. The food was delicious. But, didn't have drinks. Because I had to return to work. But, next time I will definitely have some. My server Luis was very friendly and nice! Thanks

Love eating here especially happy hour, drinks and food are very good. I dine in every time the waiters/waitresses/runners/bartender and management are very pleasant. Food always comes out hot, silverware very clean and water has a great taste to it most restaurants water tastes like yuck, but here it's very refreshing

Google
Great addition to Palace Station. The prices are quite reasonable and they have a $30 dinner for two special that is outstanding. Happy hour is exceptional and all day $5 Hornitos shots along with a beer and wine offering. Portions are generous and staff is friendly. My new fav spot in Palace Station.

Saturday 5pm not crowded but happy hour until 6pm. Fast service and clean joint. Greeted with smiling faces, and Oscar our server, was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of without hovering over our table. We first opted to get a shot of tequila with a margarita followed by carnitas fries. The fries arrived warm and crunchy. Now, for someone who does not like queso, let me tell you about these carne asada fries. The fries are crunchy, fried with a light powdering of flour which makes for a soft crunch. That carne asada was a little tough, but not inedible. But the queso...oh the queso. Velvety and thick with a natural - not nuclear - color orange/yellow. My partner ordered the carnitas. Beautiful presentation with the meat in its own mini cast-iron and the salsa, guac, beans and rice on the side. The rice reads Uncle Ben's Spanish Rice. It's not bad, but it I understand it is just a filler. Refried beans - same review: definitely come out of a gallon can, but still palatable. On to the main course: Carnitas. It's is a mixed bag of properly rendered and succulent fat surrounding melt-in-your-mouth pork...and dry, stringy, and chewy meat that has been sitting for a while. The flavor is still delicious, don't get me wrong. For my meal, I ordered the Alambre. Essentially diced beef tacos with onion, cilantro, and melted cheese. ALL COOKED TO PERFECTION! The beef was perfect size for each bite

Yelp
We went here for my birthday dinner. Oh my! Amazing service and even more....amazing food! Brooke, Tina and Chef Ricardo completely pampered us! The Flautas were one of the best I've ever had. So good! The Quesadillas were also great. We couldn't decide on which type of fish taco to have so we chose both the grilled and battered. Both were great, although if I had to choose only one it would be the grilled. Such great flavor. The rice and beans were also so good. Finally, we had Tres Leche cake and Churros with ice cream. I am not a fan of Tres Leche cake, but wow. Chef Ricardo made a believer out of me. It was the perfect combination of not too sweet and yummy. I would definitely recommend Tacos and Tequila and look forward to eating here again!

Yelp
Ambiance was relaxed and comfortable. The service was very quick and the server did a really good job. I got the Mexican Candy shot and it tasted okay.. I'm not one who enjoys the flavor of faux watermelon. It was like a melted watermelon Jolly Rancher rimmed with Chamoy and Tajín. It was thick and not enjoyable in the slightest. However if you do enjoy faux watermelon flavor profiles and Mexican candy, then you'd most likely enjoy this shot. The food on the other hand, was lacking to say the least. To start, the chips and salsa were the best part. They are complimentary as you wait for your order. We ordered the habanero wings and the sauce was interesting. It's a blend of Buffalo and habanero and it was not spicy at all, which threw us off. The chicken wasn't crispy either and I personally hate soggy wings. We then ordered the chicken salad and it was like 6/10. The chicken itself was missing flavor. It would taste better if it was cooked on a grill or had some type of smoky flavor. My husband ordered tacos and it didn't come with any salsa, limes, or sauce which is what he stated was lacking. The tacos could've used some type of jalapeño aoli. Over all, the price of the drinks are worth a visit if you're there, but everything else was disappointing. Each meal was missing a component. I would rather go have drinks there and eat at Wing Stop around the corner.

Yelp
My husband and I got a much needed date night and before our show we decided to hit up a happy hour we haven't tried yet. I've had Tacos & Tequila on my list ever since I saw they have a mariachi brunch. We came on a Friday evening about 430 and I wanted to devour about half the menu on HH. The HH runs from 4-6 weekdays with half off apps, 2 for 1 margs, and they also have $5 shot specials that are available 7 days a week! My husband and I opted to split the chicken nachos as well as a chicken quesadilla. Service was super quick as we were one of a few in the restaurant. I love that they also give complementary chips and salsa. The food was so so tasty and I loved the portions are big but not over the top. My favorite part was definitely the queso on the nachos and the chips just melted in your mouth. As for drinks we had to take advantage of the margarita special and I did a few of the $5 shots. My favorite was the Mexican candy. I love the sweet and spice of it. I will most definitely be back. Service was great, restaurant was beautiful, and everyone was so friendly. They have great specials so don't sleep on this place!

Yelp
I haven't even been in here for 20 min and can already say it seems a little overrated. I truthfully don't like giving less than 3 stars but I have to say this a little Ehh in my book. I was greeted and seated walking in, even given the table I asked for. A server took 8 min to get to me, this place isn't busy. 6 tables at most..I'm not sure if there is only one server on the floor or not.. A tip, please always address your name as a waiter or waitress upon greeting your guest. Some of us do truly care.. Chips and salsa..chips fresh. Salsa, I'm thinking store bought. Is that a little too mean to say? Happy hour chicken Taquitos. Ugh no flavor...someone haaaalp! Call in the fixer uppers. I don't know.. Okay but seriously. No bueno. One and done sadly. Just my 2 cents.

Brian S.

Yelp
Surprisingly really good. I'm from LA so we're used to taco trucks and avoid Pink Taco like places like the plague but this place was good. The portions are very big so it's worth the 20-30$ a plate price. Their filet mignon tacos are amazing. The fried shrimp tacos were good but maybe too doughy to be in a taco, tasted more like popcorn shrimp. The steak on the combo fajita was the best, chicken a bit dry. Def go with the steak options here. Service was good even though they had computer problems that night and it seems like the staff has to cover a lot of ground to get stuff. I felt bad cause our server was running and he didn't even have that many tables which told me there was some management inefficiencies or like the kitchen is super far in the back. The vibe was cool and trendy which seems a bit odd for Palace Station but it definitely seems like all the new bars and restaurants there are very modern. The clientele and casino carpet though are definitely vintage lol. Their salsas with the chips are tasty. The green one though has too much lime.

Yelp
Tacos and Tequila was a Luxor favorite that just re-opened at Palace Station. The food and drinks were very tasty, the ambiance and decor were cool - with old school Mexican tile and giant murals with neon signs and modern photography - the prices were reasonable, and the staff friendly and attentive. They even offer Brunch! We had the trio dip, the carnitas nachos and a shrimp quesadilla- it was delicious and more than enough food for just two of us. I highly recommend you check it out next time you're in the area and craving a delicious meal! Shout out to Luis who waited on us, and did an awesome job!

Yelp
First stop in Vegas - we got a pitcher of Margarita and their asada tacos. The Margarita pitcher was good, especially for the price. My friend and I were able to get 6 drinks out of the entire pitcher. The food was okay. The rice and beans were a disappointment, the rice especially was very hard and dry. The tacos were better but for the price, you can find better tasting Mexican tacos elsewhere in Vegas. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean and the service is great. I might consider giving this place another try in the future.

Yelp
You literally can't go wrong at Palace Station. We came upon another great restaurant. The place was clean and very well decorated, the service was excellent, drinks strong and the food was soooo good. We went during happy hour but of course what we wanted wasn't part of the special, which was fine because the prices were still good. They have buy 1 margarita get 1 free, the only drawback, they had to be the same. We will most definitely be going back.

Yelp
Another night out on the town with my friends after a long day at work. We wanted to do some gambling so we headed to palace station, after a few hours we decided to get some food and decided to try tacos and tequila. There was nine in our party so they had to put a few tables together to get use seated. The waiter who took our drink order was nice. Since it was my first time here so I decided to order the Alambre tacos, it's supposed to ge the best in las vegas. Me im kind of a picky eater so I took off the apple bacon, Chilli, onion, and cilantro. Plain is the only way in my book meat and cheese only.lol they also came with beans and rice but that wasn't looking good to me so I asked if I could substitute it for French fries instead. They said yes but told me it would be an extra charge.

Yelp
Cute intimate dining space with a large bar area, the murals and wall art are very pretty. I ordered enchiladas and the mole sauce was great, although they were a tad dry overall-- I just used more salsa to moisten them and that worked fine. Pickled red onion on top was a nice touch and the flavors of the salsa verde and chipotle rojo were great. And they weren't stingy at all with the free chips which is always a plus. Bartender wore a cheeky shirt that said "Body by Carnitas" which was cute (and my friend got said carnitas, which were pretty good!) However, for these casino menu prices, the service left something to be desired. They somehow "ran out" of lime wedge garnishes for drink refills even though we were one of the only tables occupied on a weeknight, and when my friend arrived to get our table they were weirdly adamant about asking how many people our group would have exactly before they agreed to give us a table. I'd understand this if it was busy, but even most of the bar stools were open... so that was bizarre. Hopefully just an off night, not an indication of typical experience.

Yelp
Best wings in the valley!!!! The habanero wings were a secret we wished we discovered sooner. Before we'd get wings from chickies and Pete at Sahara casino but they have gotten soooo expensive. Happy hour is 3-6pm. 2 margaritas for $12 and wings half price during happy hour. The chicken burrito is also very good.

Chryl C.

Yelp
So I was staying at the Palace Station and decided to have dinner here. Grave mistake... this is Americanized Mexican food, there's nothing authentic about it. The chips, salsa and queso, weren't even good. The guacamole was great and the T&T Margarita was great. Fir my entree I had a wet chicken burrito. The red sauce on the burrito was horrible and the burrito had no flavor. Unfortunately to me the restaurant was a waste of money and I won't return.

John L.

Yelp
Holy shizzz, bruh. This place is FIRE! First of all, you need to have Oscar as your server. Secondly, if you like hot stuff: don't waste your time with regular menu items. You need to tell Oscar, F me up bruh! I ordered the habanero chicken wings and I knewww they would be weaker than ketchup on a basket of fries. So I asked Oscar, look, I like hot, so I need you to F me up. Could the kitchen do that?? He says, yes, I'll ask them. Let me tell you. Those wings came straight out of hell and burned my soul. Even the server looked at me like, sheeee, you really gon eat that?!? I was crying. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ASK FOR OSCAR!!!

Yelp
Coming from a Mexican background it's hard to find a great tasting Mexican restaurant, and here at Tacos & tequila I got that fix with their very tasty carnitas. The carne asada fried we a perfect mix of everything. Every bite I took had a mix of it all. The queso fundido came with flour tortillas that were also very tasty. The shrimp quesadilla was very flavorful, the shrimp were tossed in a tomato salsa that gave it a lot of flavor. It was very crunchy and did not get soggy or soft. Back to the main plate, the carnitas. They were cooked perfectly, still soft and tender. Also came with a side of their flour tortillas that it all went perfect. Great Mexican restaurant

Shaun R.

Yelp
My last meal before ending a weekender. Rice & Beans with each plate good enough. Shrimp tacos very tasty and loaded. Grilled fish Tacos tasty but I didn't notice until i was near finished one had way more fish than the others, the other two having only one piece each. Seemed like the first one was loaded with 1 1/2 to 2. No time to make a inquiry as I had to catch my ride. Good singers during a lunch hour performed 'Donna' by Ritchie Valens and 'Daddy's Home'. Will try more if ever back there. Great service from Jeff.

Lisa H.

Yelp
I have no idea what happened to my previous review that was 3 stars but anyhoo I won't be back to this place. Gave it a second chance because I had a $45 credit. I had the shrimp Caesar & my husband had the steak tacos. Tacos were ok nothing special for $25. The Caesar was the worst. Not made anything like the description. It came in a tortilla shell, had corn in it & had about 3 shrimp cut maybe into thirds. They were so thin I've never seen like that!! They must have sliced them on a mandolin. The best thing about the meal was the chips & salsa. Just as good as previous visit. Sorry no pics. I guess I was too busy deconstructing my salad.

Fred B.

Yelp
This was a great find. The tacos were AMAZING !! Great food. You will not be disappointed. Try the Al Pastor. Excellent ! Enjoy. Great staff =)

Chiqui A.

Yelp
Walking around Palace Casino and saw this little cute taco and tequila place so went in. They do have happy hour but I didn't want any drinks so I ordered this filet mignon tacos which were really good. I just wanted to see how it tasted and it was not bad at all. They give chips and salsa with green and red sauce.I would like to go back and try other foods on the menu!

Richard B.

Yelp
Well what can I say except the BEST TACOS IN VEGAS. Palace station is known for its oyster bar, which is dynamite. I was there watching a few NCAA games and felt like something different and I definitely found the right place. The Filet Mignon Tacos are the best I ever had and that green salsa is a must. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee!!

Sara O.

Yelp
Being a local I don't travel towards the strip as much as I probably should but we decided to try the palace station location after remembering how much I loved the food when it was in the Luxor a long time ago. My husband & I arrived on a late Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy, maybe 2 tables had people at them. It was a little awkward upon arrival as there was no one up front to greet us & the bartenders all looked at us & ignored us. We started to google the restaurant hours to see if perhaps they were closed but they were open thankfully. Eventually someone by the bar came up & sat us at a booth. I thought it may not be a pleasant experience based on the initial start of things but once our server Paul arrived things went great. He was friendly, helpful and drinks arrived very fast. Chips & salsa were never left empty. Food came out quick as well. The queso birria style tacos we ordered were amazing!!! So flavorful!!! I was easily able to order the tacos & dipping sauce without onions which was fantastic! The rice & beans were a little bland but I mixed them together with the salsas & sauces provided for a quick fix. The restaurant layout is very open, I like the music playlist, not very loud & It's nice having some space between tables for conversation privacy if needed. Definitely coming back for the same tacos again soon!

Ryo Hanalei Z.

Yelp
I had been waiting for this place to open and was excited to hear that it was. I wanted to come and enjoy some good food and drinks with a friend so we met up here at the new restaurant. Like any good foodie, I had looked up the menu online and liked 2 features. They had my favorite type of taco and they also had a "pick 3" option. I ordered the Al Pastor plate and my friend had the Pick 3 (2 enchiladas and a quesadilla). My pastor tacos were amazing! Moist marinated meat with diced onions and pineapple. I could eat these all the time. There's something magical when savory and sweetness comes together in a bite. The black beans and rice were good though the rice was a bit dry. The Pick 3 plate was good too. The enchiladas were amazing. The sauce was rich, almost like a mole sauce with just a hint of heat. The filling was really good too. As we were finishing up, Paul, our waiter surprised me with a tres leche cake as he heard it was my birthday! The cake was was super moist and delicious. If you're at Palace Station go check this place out. The staff are friendly and the food should make you happy. Enjoy! :)

Lady C.

Yelp
Not too shabby- best part is Happy Hour 2 for 1 margaritas. Definitely a treat! Tacos were so so and surely understaffed but they made it work.

Amy M.

Yelp
I can't say enough about how FABULOUS this place is! HAPPY HOUR Is a must - especially in a time when many restaurants are eliminating happy hour. This review is from 2023 and they are STILL running an awesome happy hour. We had tickets to see a show at Venetian that night. I really wanted mexican, and I wanted happy hour. We had never been to this restaurant, but they came up in my happy hour search. They do buy one get one free margaritas and half price appetizers. The carnitas quesadilla was FANTASTIC. And the star of the show was the filet mignon tacos. WOW! Seriously may be the best tacos I've ever had in my life! Brooke was our server. The chef, Ricky (Ricardo) came out to see how the food was, we met Richie who was there for his first shift, and we were able to chat with Kathy the manager. EVERY staff person in the restaurant was smiling, laughing, and making customers feel happy to be there. Seriously... you have to be looking for it inside Palace Station. It's just a couple of blocks off the strip. Super close and convenient. Free Chips and Salsa with an entree purchase (which is not the case in many of the strip Mexican restaurants). You will NOT be disappointed! Make sure you come for HAPPY HOUR!

Brittney T.

Yelp
SOOOO GOOOOD! I honestly do not know how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars. Great service and food is always fabulous. I have tried something new each time I have dined here and been beyond pleased every time. Highly recommend the trio dip, shrimp quesadillas and Alambre tacos!

Nikka S.

Yelp
Inside of Palace Stations so it's a great spot to get a snack in between playing. But if you don't gamble, it's still a great place to get food. They have a great 2 for $30 deal which gets you 1 appetizer and 2 entrees (Monday-Thursday). We came for happy hour which had half off for appetizers. We got their buy one get one margaritas which were delicious. For appetizers, we got the dip sampler which was good for 4 people to share. For entree, we got the shrimp quesadilla and al pastor taco plate. We absolutely loved the shrimp quesadilla and so worth it. Our server, Kevin, was awesome and gave us so many suggestions while also periodically checking in on us. Great service and food! Thanks!

John S.

Yelp
Yummy! Overall it's slightly pricey for a casual Mexican Restaurant, however the filet mignon tacos are worth it. Phenomenal. Meat is so soft, juicy and melts like butter. Pro tip - Add some spicy with habanero salsa

Bobby T.

Yelp
New restaurant inside the station casino called palace station. We went into eat with a $15 coupon from the casino replaces decorate it absolutely phenomenal however The waitress by the name of Milka had no idea about the menu she literally had to go as three different people and the three people had no clue about what was served on the menu She even asked the person that was I believe the manager looked like a nice gentleman that was more interested in coming liquor his reply to her was to "ask a chef I don't know" I gave the restaurant three stars for presentation and quality of food but for service terrible she never came back to check on us until we were completely finished and a really handsome good looking skinny bartender with the sandy blonde hair came over and checked on us and got us a refill and more tortillas Very overpriced for Mexican restaurant considering the other selections in the Las Vegas Valley. You can tell that they are new they have a long way to go but the service and attention to the menu knowing the product is definitely extremely poor Please see the photos of the two meals fajitas and the other one the fajita showing a separate picture of a lot of grease very very greasy very bland not a lot of taste and flavor

Greg x.

Yelp
Very disappointed with this place. It was packed with people, so I thought it was a good sign. Wrong! The best part of the meal was the chips and salsas. The green salsa was tangy and delicious, the red salsa was spicy and flavorful and the chips were warm and fresh. We ordered the 2 for $30 deal. For our appetizer, we picked the dipping trio. It came with guacamole, bean dip and queso. The queso was nothing more than warm Cheeze Whiz. For my entree, I picked the carne asada tostada bowl. The meat didn't have much flavor and there was some out of place sweet type dressing on everything. Nothing in my meal made it seem or taste like Mexican food, except the salsas I put on it. Even their draft Modelo Negra beer was served not as cold as it should have been. I might go back some time for happy hour for chips and salsa, but that's it.

Gmoney G.

Yelp
was waiting to play bingo wanted to come here. this is like a chili's or applebees. i ordered a white peach margarita. tasty but extremely weak. chips and salsa was just very bland and generic. i order a shrimp qusadilla. tasty but nothing amazing. help is just whatever. 2 bored workers standing around talking to each other. i def wouldnt make a special trip here.

Quinn S.

Yelp
Had supper at Tacos & Tequila with hubby, my son and his girlfriend on Monday, as son has been recommending that we should try this place. The staff was friendly and attentive (our server was Eddie who was very cordial and quick with the menus). While waiting to order, we munched on the fresh chips and had both red and green salsa. As an entree, we ordered the loaded fries (omg YUMMY) and when it came to ordering the food. . .well, they do not scrimp on portions. I ordered the shredded beef enchiladas, which came with beans and rice and hubby ordered the chicken tacos (also with beans and rice). I wasn't that keen on the pineapple margarita (I like frozen margaritas, and this one was on the rocks) but maybe next time I will do a shot. The ambiance was chill and decorated quite nicely; not a lot of noise from the casino. There were T.V. screens all around in case you wanted to watch the game too. I would definitely come back to experience more items on the menu and to have a nice night out.

Matthew S.

Yelp
Al and all not a bad dining experience. However some of the prices are a little exorbitant. They're trying to charge the same price that they would charge for an on strip hotel. Kind of forgetting their locals experience. And while the quality is present the portion sizes are a little to be desired for those of you with a big appetite. This is the perfect place for like a business lunch or dinner or someplace that you're stopping on your night. I wouldn't really advise to make it a destination. But service was good and I didn't leave disappointed so definitely worth the four stars.

Carman W.

Yelp
We were invited by the casino to try this place out, Service was very slow as well as Bar service. They give you chips and salsa free if you order an entree. The red salsa and green salsa was nothing, I mean no flavor at all! We asked if they had some spicer salsa and they said yes but we charge for it.. What the F:.'! We received our chips/ Salsa and spicy salsa, and our dinner all before the cocktails came?????? FYI.... You are making more money on your Cocktails my friend send them out first and often...... I'm not recommending this restaurant even if the casino gives you something off.... Really?????? This Restaurant will not bring anyone in with this kinda service.

Victoria G.

Yelp
Best steak/carne asada meat of any Mexican restaurant here in Vegas I've had- not fatty or chewy AT ALL!! A welcome surprise! Also seasoned well. My only complaint was substituting pinto beans in my salad when the menu stated black beans because I definitely prefer the latter and that's why I decided to order that one. Plan on going back again, for sure!

Brett B.

Yelp
Horrible horrible food ! then the server tried over charging me, when asked why so much he replies with " i thought it was for a tip" WOW ! this place sucks please never go here !

Catrina E.

Yelp
The food is terrible! Margaritas taste weird also, don't even bother. Only thing that was decent were the loaded fries.

Jensen J.

Yelp
Saw the promotion for the 1/2 off starters and margarita so we stopped in for a bite. We got the carne asada fries, carnitas quesadilla, and habanero wings. I had asked for the sauces on the side of the wings, they mixed it all in, but corrected the error quickly. All the orders were pretty good. I have no complaints at all. The chips are warm and crispy and two types of table salsa, chipotle red and tomatillo green salsa. Paul was our server and very attentive to the table. The food came out fast.

Aimee K.

Yelp
I can get a better taco for $.78 at Taco Bell. I would rather not spend $20 on a taco that Does not resemble nor taste like a anything even resembling a taco. I will definitely not go back and waste of money

Ricardo R.

Yelp
Good food. Good atmosphere. Great service!! Dulce lived up to her name. She is so sweet and nice. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Everyone was great. Thank you.

Derrell S.

Yelp
It would be a 5 star review except that I had to deduct one because of the second order of Top Shelf Margaritas that I ordered were not as good and were missing a few key elements: no salted rim and no lime. Other than that, the food was very good and nice portions for Happy Hour. I will be back.

Will R.

Yelp
The menu is pretty basic in terms of tacos, which was a bit surprising since their name has tacos in it. But I will say, I found a gem-the Baja tacos!! Come and get some.

Serene T.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service, great music, clean and inviting atmosphere tvs to watch the game not too loud still able to hold a conversation! Great food!

Melissa S.

Yelp
It was just ok. Service very slow for not a busy time. Chips were very oily. Cute place.

Came here for brunch with my friend and I'd say this is a hidden gem! The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The food delicious and affordable! The server brought me chips & salsa right as I sat down & I had the veggie tacos which come with rice and beans, it was filling and flavorful. It made me feel paid attention to when I didn't have to give the server the eye from across the restaurant (You know what I'm talking about!) to refill my drink as she brought me 3 refills for my iced tea at the perfect times. Also, my friend didn't want peppers in her drink and the server had no problem giving her other options and switching her drink. As we were leaving we stopped to take pictures by their "Eat Tacos Drink Tequila Make Love" sign and the bar tender came from behind the bar to take a picture for us which I thought was so nice! It's the little things that really stand out. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying more of their menu.

Yelp
First time at the casino . We enjoy Mexican food so we decided to come here and watch Monday night football. Brayden was our bartender! He makes an excellent margarita! He was friendly and honestly made our night . Our carnitas quesadilla was pretty good . My chicken spinach salad was just okay . To be straight up the spinach salad part was good but the chicken was so dry and tasteless and the cheese seriously tasted like it was tofu or some fake cheese. No bueno . We did enjoy the chips and salsa. They give you red and green salsa.. both were good . We're here all week for a convention.. if we get the chance we will be back . Brayden was super easy to talk to.. plus provided great customer service ! We would recommend checking this place out .

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday afternoon just about when they open. Place has amazing decor and used to be in the Luxor. Our waiter's name was Eddie and he was a very efficient and helpful young man. I ordered the Habanero wings and my girlfriend ordered the shrimp tacos that came with beans and rice. Simply amazing food!!! The tomatillo salsa tha5 came with the homemade chips was delicious. Even the signature margaritas were amazing. We will definitely be back. On Sundays they have a mariachi brunch!!! Thank you Eddie for a great experience.

Yelp
Even better the second time. This place is so good I'm doing another review less than 90 days after the first one. Free shot glasses this time with our Clase Azul shots. We got our food sooooo fast. It was like they knew what we were going to order and when. And I gotta give a big shout out to our very lovely waitress Dulce. She was friendly, quick to match ,add to, and exceed our positive energy, and just making sure we were taken care of in general. Of any server I've had she's top 5 (DOA!) Seriously! The food was perfect plus some. I don't like rice and still ate almost all of it. My steak was perfect. Her tacos were perfect. So was the service. The price is worth it. (BarZ!) Im going to be getting a bottle of that Clase Azul Reposado too thats was good AF. The margarita was strong. I need to see a line through the casino for this place, FRFR. Not only do I recommend, but I urge you to try the best tacos Ive ever had.

Yelp
I keep reading the reviews of how good this restaurant is, but I was truly disappointed. We arrived around 5 pm, had no problem getting seated, and that was the good stuff. The menu is very limited. Mostly standard mexican fare of tacos, burritos, enchiladas. All meals came with rice and beans. I have eaten at a lot of mexican restaurants, some great, others, nowhere near. This one is in the later catagory. Started with chips and salsa brought to the table. Red and green sauces that were way too sweet with very little heat. Not so good. The tortilla chips were obviously homemade. That was good. I ordered the chicken tacos, wife ordered chicken enchiladas. The first thing I noticed was the plate looked very good, but the beans had a weirdly looking pale color, the rice looked like food coloring orange. I don't know how they did it, but the beans have got to be the WORST tasting I've ever had. The rice was just slightly better tasting. The tacos, as good as they looked, should have tasted better, as it was the star of the dish probably would have tasted better if they had some salsa with some heat. The bottled hot sauce offered was offensive to the dish. Since I am not the one who chose this restaurant, I went with the flow. For the prices charged at Tacos and Tequilas, you would think that it would be a lot better. Would I ever return? In simple terms, NO! In fact if you want Mexican fare, I would beseech you to choose anywhere else. As much as I don't like Taco Bell, their food is superior in taste, ingredients and overall execution.

Yelp
The food was AMAZING!!! Service was decent, we sat down right away and it took them a while to come see us and when we were finished our server gave up the tab and just walked out. Other than that it was terrific!

Yelp
Rice was undercooked, the waitress we had ignored us the whole time, had to send the food back because we asked for no onions, food comes back and my fiancée was about to eat the beans and it's a long hair in them. So we were over it at that point. I wrote a lot more but I decided to delete it. I understand this place just opened up and they're trying to get things together. But there's no excuse for being ignored by your waitress the whole time and it wasn't busy at all. I just hope they get it together because the combo I had wasn't bad, minus the undercooked rice. I just hope in about a month or two it will be running like a well-oiled machine. I'll be reviewing again and hopefully that 1 star turns into 5 stars
