This place is delicious. My family and I have been coming here for awhile now. It always tastes delicious. The food is clean and fresh. Recently I've noticed some girls working there and they were a bit distracted but maybe they are new. The guys are on point with everything and always making sure that the order is served. I recommend this place for sure. 😊👍🏻

visiting LA for a vacation and saw this place was busy, turned around and decided to see what's the hype. DELICIOUS BAJA TACOS!!! flavorful, fresh and hot! I about stuffed myself with so many! the cashier was super nice! a definite "must eat at" in LA

Did not like the comment that the guy was making to the two women that were in front of us in double sense my husband had to use the restroom and he said he needed to wait there was no one inside but us so I told him no go head and tell someone to open the door for him please he made a face the other two women were already eating but he kept saying that is to much sea food what were you guys going to do....very disrespectful to the customer even though they were talking to him the same way...! I tried to call the fish place and I didn't UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE MAKE NO SENSE???!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great, shrimp and fish tacos always hit the spot.. if you're in the area, get yourself some tacos. There's a lot to choose from the menu as well

I used to go here for my mother, but never for myself, but today it was all about me! Delicious, ordered fish tacos & shrimp cocktails, wow I really enjoyed this meal. They give tapatio hot sauce packets and mexican cream on the side which just added to the great taste. There's delicious thick pieces of breaded fish in those tacos, but can't show image of shrimp cocktail because I ate it all first! I will definitely be back for more. My wife definitely agrees with the "5 stars"👍

Tacos Baja best tacos I’ve had in a long time. Fast service with a smile. Not some small tacos either with a lot of meet. Carne Asada taco 1.49 is a deal and tastes amazing. Visiting this city and saw a large group of people inside and in line thought I would try it out and was let down. Great place to take the family for decent price. They also serve glass coca-cola always a plus. They also have a chili bar that was also off the hook.

Placed a pick up at 7:20 on door dash. Got there at 7:30 and the whole store was being deep cleaned and I was asked to cancel my order by some guy standing in the corner on his phone doing nothing. Why does it say you close at 8 when the whole store is taken apart before 7:30

I had lunch here yesterday and had a fish and a shrimp taco with a horchata. The fish and shrimp were freshly made. A lot of fish, but not a lot of shrimp, but both very tasty. The horchata was weak and lacked a cinnamon taste. Overall a good lunch. You can call to order to go orders. Parking: a small lot and street parking. Stars: 4

The food is so good, everything is served fresh. I personally think the fish taco is excellent, the shrimp taco is also very very good. We actually love everything we ordered here. We ordered at the counter and picked up the food ourselves at the counter. The service is at the counter. Ambiance is casual, we cleaned up our table afterwards

Yeah I do like tacos Baja for their fish and shrimp tacos and ceviche when I'm on the go. This location is always packed and I wish they took phone orders so I can come and pickup my order and split but they never answer their phones so I always have to place my order at that location which is bothersome. The parking lot is always full and so your best bet is to park a couple of stores down on Whittier Blvd on the street. Watch out for fast moving cars when exiting your vehicle. If you dine in there are no refills for your soda so don't gulp it down before you finish your meal. The tables were dirty as people ate and left. Business was brisk so nobody was tending to the tables.

Best kept secret is their Fish Tacos on Wednesdays. Price and taste can't be beat. Downside is their limited parking

Food is always great here. Service is always fast and the ambience is decent. It's right off Whittier Boulevard and painter and you get to watch the city go by and watch.

took my order over the phone. started preparing the order after i got there. burrito was mediocre, beef was fatty and chewy. there are better Mexican fast food restaurant in Whittier. We will not eat here again.

Great authentic fish tacos! If you've ever been to Ensenada and had fish tacos, you know you dream about them from then on. Tacos Baja comes about as close as you can get at a great price. Would be a five star if the place was updated a bit and felt cleaner, but that's what kind of makes it authentic.

Food was dirty & dirty tasting !! Restaurant was dirty looking too!! And the chick at the counter was rude and she looked miserable!! Maybe if she took her personal phone away from her face she could hear what ur asking for!! Never again!!

Tacos baja the best of the best, fish tacos is a must to try although they have a great menu, I want to ask the management of these places don't ever change the quality of your food and service

The best shrimp taco in town! I was in doubt the first time I step into the store, but don't let the appearance trick you. The shrimp taco was crispy and flavorful. You didn't need to put lemon or any salsa, truly. The fish tack was bomb, too!

Meh. The fish tacos we so so and the asada tacos we quickly turned away by my daughters. Not sure if it was asada!

Fish tacos and the fish burrito are the only items I have tried here. Tacos are a good size crispy and tasty! Fish burrito is really good for the price. Service is fast and friendly. Dining room ambiance is tight and uncomfortable. You kinda gotta get in and out asap. Parking really sucks ass people park where they shouldn't and screw up the whole lot. They should just close the parking lot and put in a drive thru. Just my opinion.

Very tasty. A clean, humble place with good fish tacos. I had them grilled with a rice and beans plate. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the meal was.

Tacos Baja in Whittier, CA, is good for a quick lunch. They request social distancing and masks to be worn inside during COVID-19. Takeout orders only for now. Indoor seating is closed and there is not outdoor seating. I was there back on 9/26/20 just after 11AM. The line was short. Staff is friendly and fast. I recommend the Combo #2, fish tacos ($7.50), with all the fixings. It comes with a small drink. I chose horchata. It was refreshing. And of course a side of rice and beans. I highly recommend you request chili peppers on the side. They're free, but they have a good kick if you need some extra spice. Plastic accepted. Small, but free parking on side and around back.

I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. The filthy kitchen, overflowing trash cans, excessively loud TV, and the abysmal quality of food make it an establishment to be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the disappointment and potential health risks by seeking out a more sanitary and enjoyable dining experience elsewhere. My girlfriend and I are still feeling sick and bloated, which is extremely concerning.

This place has bomb fish burritos. They always give me extra salsas and cremas and chilles so not sure what other peeps are talking about. maybe they were low on stock. I've been here a few times and the fish burritos are always just HUGE. and SO GOOD. Their salsa is a smokey and firey one. not my fav flavor profiles but I love that they give extra crema. man. I'll have to try their fish tacos.... wish I coulda been around for the $1 fish tacos. They have plenty of other options that I want to try as well. Ceviches and cocktails. I'll get to it eventually. Service is pretty fast depending on the crowd. Haven't been here on a day they have specials so it's usually chill. not much else to say

Half way through my second fish taco saw a hair. Pull it out and it keep going, the hair was so long. Disgusting. I haven't been to this place in years. Definitely not going back.

I just discovered this place today on my lunch break and it is SO GOOD. I had a baja burrito which has both fried fish and shrimp. The shrimp was soo juicy and fresh and for only $7.50!!! I will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of their menu but so far so good. Don't forget to ask for extra salsa and the peppers they have. It really completes the meal for me. My only complaint is that they don't answer their phone to take orders ahead of time which makes it hard for those picking up during a short lunch break! I went at a quieter time I think and was able to get my food in about 15 minutes tho

Food alone gets 4-5 stars. What bring this place down is the service and attitude from employees. If you're in a rush don't bother calling your order, they will not make it ahead of time and you'll just wait just as much as if you just ordered at the register.

I agree with the review written by Johnny L. from 7 days ago. I've been there twice for the $1.00 Fish tacos when it wasn't busy as it usually seemed with a line out the door. My tacos came with a side of bad attitude.

Should've taken pictures to prove what happened. Ordered bowls that came with beans which had been watered down with wet lettuce. We ordered our fish grilled and it came back almost burnt, but on the grill. And, of course, horrible flavor. Consistency is an issue here so this was probably my last visit.

These guys have the best shrimp tacos in town. I've tried other restaurants, and always come back to this one when I have a hankering. The tacos are never soggy and full of flavor with creama and pico de gallo, a little bit of hot sauce. It's the perfect bite. Their ceviche is always fresh tasting and delicious as well with bright green avocado slices on top. I do wish they'd answer their phone and take phone orders. We'd probably eat there more often if it was more convenient to place an order.

Good food I like the Baja burrito and caldo de pescado. Shrimp tacos are too bad but honestly the burritos are where it's at

The shrimp cocktail has definitely changed. At first I thought I got a bad batch but I came today and NOPE! they are putting something in the mix that taste different, perhaps to preserve the shrimp longer. Not sure what it is, I would like to say it taste like Baking soda was added . Tacos are still bomb! But I'm not going order the cocktails anymore, they are pricey too just so I can end up trashing it .

Wednesday $1 fish tacos are always great deal. BUT make sure if you have multiple orders in one that you pay them all separately because they're being cheap and they only give you one baggie with 2 seasoned chillies per order regardless of how many tacos the order has. I order a total of 18 tacos for myself and coworkers and they only gave me 1 one baggie which had 2 chillies for my entire order and wanted to charge $0.50 for every extra after that, CHEAP and rude, cashier was irritated and upset that she gave me 1 extra baggie... After I complained over it SMH... so next time I'll be placing 10 orders individually to avoid the issue. One baggie (2 seasoned chillies) per order, remember that

Hand down the best Fish Tacos in the area, very close to my friends moms tacos who makes them with shark. The plate comes with two enormous tacos, rice and beans, and the drink. Prices are super fair, I waited less than 5 min and my food was ready. I have been craving them ever since. Last night I actually ordered through DoorDash and got the Caldo de Pescado. Unfortunately they sent me the Mixed one which I don't like, only eat fish and shrimp.. the broth was still enjoyable. Over the food here is really good! Oh yeah.. the Horchata was sooo yummy too! I wish they had like a super hot sauce, habanero or something.

Gross. Won't come back for a cocktail. They used to be fine/average but recently have been terrible. Tastes like cocktail juice dilates with alka seltzer water, gives the fish a bitter rotten taste and a weird fizzing sensation on the tongue. 1 star for horchata and 1 for the decent fish taco Man who was preparing cocktails also had no gloves on which made me apprehensive about trying it in the first place.

Foods good but how tf are you not going to give refills you need to work on that and customer service

Tacos Baja, what can I say except for a legendary establishment among Whittier. Having two locations this place is the King of Seafood. Came here for fish tacos and ceviche, to say the portion was huge is an understatement. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. The batter had a wonderful crisp and the salsa was refreshing

I didn't know they have a Tacos Baja in Whittier my wife and I always go the one in East L.A. that's a good thing because my wife and I travel to visit her mom at Whittier hospital. We decided try their food to compare wish is the best Tacos Baja restaurant Whittier or East L.A. My wife and I order their combo #1 it's two fish tacos comes with beans and rice. The combo look different from the East L.A. the taste is very different I like the taste but I felt something is missing or need to be add it like lime or more seasons. Even the rice tasted good but I think more flavor and the beans they were good. My wife enjoy the food but she say it mising something also. This Tacos Baja always get pack and busy like the one in East L.A.

Came here for Fish Taco Wednesday and the tacos were ehh alright. Kinda sloppy and could have more flavor but at least the tortillas didn't break. Wish fish was more crispy but seems like they over use their oil. Soda from the fountain was a bit flat. The place has ac which was nice because it was hot outside. Normally there would be plenty of parking but makes sense that Taco Wednesday you might have to wait. I definitely would not take tacos to go because I can only imagine they would be soggy when you get home.

Horrible customer service! The hoodrat cashier was so damn rude! Can't even operate a register! Place smells like dog crap! Flies all over the food!

The fish and shrimp tacos were delicious. I'm very picky with fish tacos but these were amazing especially with the grilled yellow chili's. Same goes for the fish ceviche.

Fish tacos with a side of ATTITUDE. I was rushed, there was literally none behind me. The cashier was rude and condescending, shouting over me while I tried to order then put her hand up to me (stop) and answered a personal phone call. I don't think the food is worth the headache.

Trying this location for the first time. I love the other tacos Baja down Whittier. But they are closed. I was bummed out. But remembered there was another one down the road. The restaurant itself was quiet, but the associates were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I got today two fish tacos and some ceviche, which delicious. thank you for being open and I'll be back again. Thanks for the good eats!!

Some of the worst fish tacos I have ever eaten. Disclaimer, I did order grilled fish tacos not the battered and fried fish tacos. I got the order to go and they smelled bad on the ride home, but I ate one anyway. Had to throw the rest out. Probably if they have batter on them and are fried it covers up the smell. Not going back. Every time I drive past the place I gauge.

Their fish tacos always so good, do recommend it! Don't miss their ceviche and tostada superb!

$1 fish taco Tuesday! Very generous pieces of fish with delicious accompanying crema and salsa all for a dollar. I'm impressed. They're a little tight with giving sauces but if the tacos are only a dollar, the profit margin can't be much. They're quick, no non sense. Ceviche is fresh and bright. Great weekday lunch.

Open for takeout, no outside seating. Small parking lot that gets full as people are eating in their cars. Got 2 shrimp tacos and 2 fish tacos for just about $8 on a Wednesday. They come standard with cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and a sour cream-ish sauce. You can ask for limes, picked carrots, and fresh whole chili (slightly cooked and garnished with an oil and some salt). Each shrimp taco came with 4 decent sized shrimp, so every bite will have some. The fish taco came with a good sized fillet. Good tacos, would/will come back if I'm in the area but wouldn't make a trip just for the tacos
