DFW Restaurant Openings to Know in November 2024 | Eater Dallas

"An indoor outgrowth of a lively food truck that brings the truck’s dance-music energy to a restaurant-and-bar format in the Cedars. While tacos remain central, the menu expands to include wings, hummus, burgers, and an extended cocktail program, combining party-forward vibes with a broader casual-menu offering." - Courtney E. Smith

My wife and I attended Dallas Arboretum's Mexican Mundo festival this past Sunday. In addition to enjoying the pumpkins and pumpkin-themed decorations, we shared the elote from Tacos, Bites & Beats. We liked that it was "soupy" and full of flavor. I, for my part, devoured the 3-taco plate, which was reasonably priced and generous with the portions. (I selected asada, pollo, and carnitas.) I hope to see them around the city again, so I can try some other proteins (or the paneer).

Highly recommend! We booked Taco Bites and Beats for our wedding, and the experience was amazing. Myrla answered all of my questions and was very transparent about menu options and pricing. When we asked to update the taco truck’s arrival time at our venue, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was a huge hit with our guests! We will definitely be returning customers- both at the restaurant and for any future catering needs.

Not quite what I planned on - the onsite menu is different from what I could find online - but the "Indian" tacos and social space are pretty cool.

We recently chose Tacos, Bites, and Beats for our corporate Spring Event and couldn’t have been happier! Very friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. the hot sauce options were wonderful as well. The lively atmosphere they brought with their music really set the tone for a fun and relaxed event. I highly recommend them for any corporate function or casual gathering. A truly enjoyable experience!

Came with to watch the Astros vs Rangers game. Awesome service. The watermelon Paloma was bomb. The live act was great too!

Excellent no-frills eatery for a reasonable price. Ordered 3 taco combo and an order of elotes. Everything was great. Al Pastor and Elotes were the best. The medium spicy sauce was incredible. Will be back for more!

A friend and I decided to stop by Tacos, Bites & Beats today after passing it many times. Delicious doesn’t even begin to describe this experience! Started with the chips & queso (so good!) and tried the chicken quesadilla, 3 taco order, elote & churros! The quesadilla had a perfectly crispy exterior and was loaded with chicken & cheese. The tacos usually come with the traditional onions, cilantro and lime, but I’m one of the weirdos that doesn’t like raw onions or cilantro. Instead they put lettuce, tomato & cheese on it for me! I tried the tinga, pastor & carnitas on corn tortillas. All of the meat was cooked & seasoned to perfection!! The pastor had grilled pineapple in it which was a deliciously sweet surprise. They have 2 salsas which were both so good! My personal favorite was the green salsa. The elote was mouthwatering and just perfect in taste. As if all of that wasn’t enough, I was STUNNED by the churros. I have been on the hunt for good churros for a longggg time. FOUND THEM! They were freshly made and came in plain (no filling), vanilla and caramel topped with powdered sugar and a raspberry drizzle. I had to make myself stop eating!! Lastly, shout out to JR who provided us with wonderful customer service. Who would have thought a little taco shop on the corner would literally make my day!!! Can’t wait to go back. Great experience, food & jams!
