Tucked away like a true hidden gem, this restaurant hit the spot! From the moment my bf & I walked in, the vibe was effortlessly welcoming. We ordered the “Chicago-Style” burrito, chicken tacos, cheese and chicken empanadas. OMG, EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!🤤 The meat was fresh & seasoned to perfection. We ended up purchasing a second round of the empanadas to go - hands down the best I’ve ever had. 😆 The staff was top-notch professional & were genuinely interested to make our first experience worthwhile. The bright, casual setup by the window was the last perfect touch. Sometimes it’s the simplest meals, made well & shared with someone you care about, that leave the best taste in your memory. ✨ Will definitely be back. ☺️

Came here a few times and the visits were to go mainly. Its a location on my way to work and I like to support local. Food is decent. Usually come in for the specials during lunch. Everything has been fine, but not a fan of the squared chicken. Whether its tacos, burritos, bowls etc. I'll have to try other dishes and come back for an edit. I sure wish the other choices of meats were on specials too. I would still recommend others to try it out. I like their green hot sauce.

The service started being very professional, but when asked about how business was doing, I learned more about ICE and the right wing extremists than I ever expected. Price of the food was about 30% over expectations and dryness of the meet well above average

I only review good restaurants and this one is a great one. We had a burrito, sorta and tacos. The steak was tender and flavorful. The bread was soft and warm. We dined in and accommodated our needs. Its a very unassuming place, but your can expect good food. The place is a little small and that reminded me of some of the restaurants back in Mexico.

I've been past this restaurant for a couple of months and decided to give them a try. I ordered the "Pabellon" arepa, and it was delicious. Definitely worth the visit. Everything was fresh and Hot! I look forward to coming back.

Pros: Friendly staff and good ambiance. Other than that, food was bland for me. I had the taco dinner. Chicken was dry and didn’t have any flavor. Asada was okay but again, lacking flavor. Beans was alright but the rice was bland too. The horchata I got was watery that day but maybe I was just unlucky.

let me start off by saying, the food is DELICIOUS! the meat is very good and you can tell it’s very high quality. the reason why i don’t give a five star rating is because on their website, they offer a “curbside pickup” option and upon arrival, i called the restaurant and the employee told me i had to come inside and grab the food. i don’t mind going inside, but don’t offer the option if it’s untrue and going to be a problem when i call. my second issue is, i asked for no beans extra rice and i was given beans anyways. overall this restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood and i will be eating here again!

We stopped by this store and tried the tacos. Chicken tacos are really good, beef tacos are ok. But they are good in general. Give it a try when you are around the area

Tacos buscado is relatively new to the area. I didn't have high hopes for it so I waited a bit before check I them out but I'm glad I did. Shouldn't have waited that long. The place is located at an intersection of Addison and forest preserve so it's real convenient. It's small but clean inside, not really I sit down place. There are some stools where you can eat but it's more tailored for take out. I initially tried the California burrito and the barbacoa taco. The taco was small, street taco size but packed with meat. It's was good but I found the barbacoa was over salted. The burrito was really good, however it had a little too many fries and not enough steak the first time I ordered. Every time since (and I've had it for like a week straight :)) it's been much better. I'm a bit fan of the burrito, the steak is nice and flavorful.it just hits the spot. Their salsas are really unique too! The have a orange and a green salsa. I'm a big fan of both. The green is a little more spicy but both are nice and thick, I'm not a big fan of watery salsas so thats a big plus. They have great flavor and the heat is just enough to complement the food. If you're nearby give tacos buscado a try. I think it's some of the best Mexican food in this area.

Horrible customer service guy looks miserable behind the counter. Would never go there again five minutes away. There is a Great place called meson de taco express why waste your time there when you could have good Mexican food five minutes away.

I know Tacos Buscados has the potential. It used to be one of my favorite local places. The arepas...yummy! However, the past couple of times the quality of the food has diminished to the point of pure disappointment. The quantity too has suffered. See latest picture of my chicken arepa. This used to be loaded with chicken. It is suppose to have avocados and I can only see traces of green in one corner. I cannot comment on the service or ambiance of the location because my usual is take out. Please bring the old quality and quantity back.

I live right down the street, I had company over and I thought out loud... this place has great reviews. It opened a few years ago, but believe it or not I've never been there. Let's grab lunch. How freaking embarrassing that was, we went there at lunchtime on a Wednesday so either they pre-cook the food and let it sit there, or they just are bad cooks. We ordered steak tacos and what a waste we ended up feeding them to the dogs, which I'm surprised the dogs even ate the food. Not only was the food bland, but it was so overcooked and dry. I've had better tacos from Taco Bell. What a waste, trust me when I tell you just drive-by.

This Mexican-Venezuelan Fusion restaurant embodies what the Norridge Area needs, quality over quantity style foods. On this visit, I first tried the Beef Empanada, boy oh boy I had an empanada before, but not like this. The dough on the outside is a corn meal handmade mix which truly set the tone for me getting ready to write a review immediately. And the beef was more of a shredded beef which seems to be the ongoing choice in this restaurant. It was given to me for free courtesy of the cashier Marco, but after eating it I felt as if I stole it because it was definitely worth the $2.50 humbly could've been even more by how good it was. Next up I had one Steak Taco which in my honest opinion wasn't the most memorable part of my visit, and was actually the main reason I came in, but like I said before... quality over quantity. Although it was very petite coming in at about 4 inches, the thoughtfulness of them choosing authentic Skirt Steak over whatever these other restaurants choose that makes you kind of question what your eating cough... cough.. TBK..cough... truly puts my faith in them for the future of what they decide to do next with their tacos. I'm sure that getting a taco meal would honestly suffice and that should truly fill you up. Boy howdy, now this last one truly took me out of Chicago.. I had the ever so popular Pabellon Arepa which brought so much of my Miami Origin taste buds flying in to my mouth. I tasted a sense of Cuba and Venezuela in the Hialeah area and a hint of Haiti in the Miami-Dade area. No wonder why this is the most popular Arepa of the restaurant, a beautifully crafted shredded juicy beef, perfectly cooked plantains (big kudos to the chef on this one) and black beans with cheese to follow... I knew this was my new Venezuelan dish. Although a relatively new restaurant overtaking a hand me down building from several different restaurants that just couldn't survive the area. This place was very very clean! I was on the inside sitting down which was met with a very polite employee cleaning the chairs and tables before the next customer even walked in was a sign this place could be trusted. The customer service in this restaurant. Marco treated me like he knew me which in most parts gets my business 100%. A pretty well ran restaurant in my full opinion can't wait to see what this restaurant does next! 4/5

I tried it for the first time this morning. I had a steak breakfast burrito. It was absolutely delicious. The best I ever had was the restaurant was spotless and the customer service was great. I will definitely be back

The burrito is the perfect size. The steak is cooked well and not too chewy. The beans are preferable to other taco joints; they're actually refried. The interior is small but has counters and a few chairs. Food came out quickly. Their salsas are also very good. Prices are good; about $10 for a burrito

Searching for places to eat in the area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. The arepa de pabellon, tacos, and churros were absolutely delicious--just a little annoyed I had to share them. Service was excellent and quick! We will be back to try everything else!

The food is high quality and the star of the show is the halal meat! So much flavor and great variety to please the whole family! We sure loved it!

Nice little hidden gem. We've ordered a few times and it's been delicious. We've ordered the Chicago style burrito, steak tacos, tamales, elotes and churros. Everything was delicious and made perfectly. Highly recommend

We tried the hillbilly burrito and the Chicago style burritos which were both good; the meat was flavorful. The burrito sauce is a creamy mild green sauce. The horchata is a LITTLE gritty, but still very good! The tequenos are DELICIOUS! It was my first time having one and they were warm cheese filled pastry dough. Slightly sweet. The tequeno sauce is a SCRUMPTIOUS garlic mayo flavored green sauce. And sadly the elote was not very good. The corn tasted like canned corn and it was missing something. I think they forgot the mayo. This location is very small but they did well with the small space. There is outdoor seating and they had standing tables against the windows inside. The workers were very friendly and it was quick to order over the phone! I would say 3.5stars (they don't have the option so I rounded up!)

The food is delicious! They have awesome weekly deals which is so worth it and the workers here are so sweet and are always making the best quality food and providing the best service. Highly recommend the Cali Style Burrito and the Horchata. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE HORCHATA!!!

I've been curious about this spot ever since I saw it. Finally decided to give it a try... I had the 2 taco dinner and the Pabellon arepa & It is absolutely delicious! Will be going back. 10/10

A great addition to the neighborhood. We tried barbacoa, chicken and ground beef tacos. They were all tasty. My only negative was that the barbacoa meat wasn't sauced. Still tasted good, but it wasn't what I'd call traditional barbacoa meat. Still good food at a fair price. We'll be back to try out some other items soon!

please please please do not leave a tip through credit/ debit card or leave tip in that jar give it directly to the individual intended because the boss is the most self centered man I've ever met. The ladies do all the work in the back and he claims they don't deserve tips & that is for his store which in other words it's all for him. As for the food I love the tacos and green salsa.

My boyfriend and I stopped by for some steak tortas and beef empanadas. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be back again soon. The customer service is friendly and informative. It's a smaller spot (former hot dog stand) but there's still plenty of space to sit down and have a bite to eat. If you have a business, there's a bulletin board inside that allows customers to advertise their own business cards, which is pretty awesome too.

Always good food. I always order here because of the quality. Staff is nice too. It's a great addition to the neighborhood.

Tacos and burrito were just ok, wished they had more options like chips and salsa? I'm not sure i've been to a taco shop that didn't offer chips and salsa lol.

Great new place ! Clean restaurant , nice hard working guys , no matter how busy it gets they manage to keep smile on their faces and serve you fresh and hot amazing food !! You can tell they serve high quality meat and ingredients not like other taco places around ! Great food , great experience I will be back again for sure .

Place recently opened up in the neighborhood popped in to check it out. This is not your typical mexican restaurant, can't even tell you what to classify it as. Options are very vague and small. Have you ever wondered how can one mess up a nice looking taco. Well let me tell you, the steak(asada) had no flavor at all. The salsa didn't even help at all as they too didn't have a flavor. The burrito to no surprise no flavor at all either, go figure. Now they offer a Texas style burrito. We in chicago we don't want none of that tex mex mediocre mexican leave that in the south. Arepas guess what no flavor not good. Not to mention they gave me a meatless arepa. No point to complain as food wasnt good. Yes they sell arepas. Told you can't tell you what to classify this place as. Now kudos to the Horchata and their Lil machine that seals the cup with a plastic lid and you puncture it with a straw. If you in the area and see it stay clear of it. You'll waste your money. Dear business owner that recently commented. I by no means am I a competitor just a simple customer that stopped by to try your food and was disappointed. For the longest we have been hoping to have something open up in that spot. But I aint no chef either, but I know bland food when I taste it. Nice try sir. Also work on your customer skills as they are lacking. As a owner you should've been like I'm sorry to hear that, please come back and give us a try. But nope simply went ahead and tried to assume I was a competitor.

I went for lunch and wouldn't recommend at all. First of all the quesadilla was way too salty and the horchata tasted like it was watered down which makes sense because the owner is not even Mexican nor hispanic and apparently the tips asked in the computer go to the owner and not the workers so instead give the tip in cash.

This placed opened up a few months ago. They have great tacos ! The service was great, food was nice and freshly made. Been there several times now!!! Highly recommended!

So hard to come by a Cali Burrito done right in Chicago. This place knows what they're doing.

It was good the day they open this place. Now I rather go pay $10+ at taco burrito king at least I have full dinner and tasty meat. I'm sorry.

Small tacos. Mild sauce is too hot. People who work here seem nice. Good parking. Clean and bright.

I stopped here soon after it opened and had the Texas Style steak burrito. Overall it was very good, the service was attentive and cordial. They were nice enough to make my burrito even though it was nearly closing time. It is a smaller restaurant but there is plenty of parking the staff were very polite to me and they made a great burrito. I will definitely come back to try the arepas rellenas.

Pros: prices are good. food i recommend are burritos and empanadas. The arepa filling is good. Jamaica juice is ok. Green salsa and the garlic salsa are good. Good service. Cons: Horchata is too sweet. Meats needs a little more seasoning. Arepas are fried and tear apart easily from your hand making a mess. Tequeños cheese is not the that cheese that suppose to have.

Great food!! Chicken tacos are amazing!!! The empanadas are amazing as well!!! I definitely recommend this place

I went on a rainy day to patronize this new place, wishing them well. I purchased one of each empanada and they tasted fresh, light and delicious. I also tried an Arrepa and that was also great, the best seller, especially having tried the special Mayo sauce. Don't walk out with carry out without tasting their hottest sauce. It really made a great difference. It is a nice place to sit and look out onto the park. The owner Marco offered me a free drink. I declined, but that was very kind of him. Will definitely invite my family and friends to get there. I was a little confused on how to get in and out of the parking lot, but definitely doable.

We tried the taco dinner and empanadas dinner, both were tasty and delicious. Would definitely try other items on the menu in the future.

I tried the quesadilla, steak taco, beef empanada, and the Jamaica juice as well. I have to say I really like the taco a lot and I loved the empanada. The taco has 2 tortillas and plenty of meat. My dad said it had great flavor. I will totally be eating there again. I can't wait to try more from there. I'm glad to see them in the neighborhood.

Check your order before you leave. My teens are there a couple times a week. Sometime they mix up simple stuff no worries take the tomatoes off. But today they sent 1 less taco went all the way back they swear it was there. No worries close or not taco joints come a dime a dozen. Nobody is coming all the way back with the taco in hand to say we missing one... yeah last time customer service matters

I went there as a celebration dinner. Ordered cheese quesadilla , churros, tacos, empanadas, elote, and 4 different Jarritos. The cheese quesadilla was super thick and the cheese was super heavy. The tacos were super small and the meat was flavorless. The elote had way to much mayo, and the corn were stiff and hard! The Jarrito was the only good thing.

I got a Chicago style burrito and a horchata and I would say that for the price and location it was pretty good.

Great little taco stand! First thing I noticed was how bright and clean the place is. I ordered two tacos, chicken and steak. They are made authentic style with onions and cilantro. The additional sauces were fresh and spicy. To drink, I ordered a horchata. It was thick but not overly sweet. With the tacos it was nice combination of sweet and savory. The crunchy churro was a perfect dessert. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

When Tacos Buscados, first opened we did buy steak tacos from this place ... I told my husband to never get steak tacos from this place again ... What does he do ... comes home with 5 steak tacos last night .... I said don't even tell me how much you spent ... I had to chew, and chew, and chew and still had mouth fulls of grizzle ... I don't get it ... the quality of meat is terrible ... I hope my husband learned that I will not waste my time trying to chew your steak tacos again ... He could have bought something else to try ... I found out the Taco Burrito King at Harlem and Higgins has really good steak burritos compared to the one at Belmont and Harlem

First time buying food there, they advertise order online and curbside pick up. I placed the order online called them when I got there for curbside pick up, she told me I'll outside in a minute, wait 10 minutes and nobody came. I went inside finally and my food was sitting on the counter and only two customers were there. She told that she was busy that's why she didn't came outside to give me the food. Don't advertise curbside pick up if you can't handle it.

We ordered and they got it wrong. Check your order if it's taken out. We didn't realize it until we got home and refused to go back. Food is okay.
