On 10/31, I ordered some carne asada fries and tacos. The food was unnaturally blue and had a weird texture. At first I thought it could be a sauce, but the color was so weird to the point where I thought something was spoiled or maybe a chemical had gotten into the food.
Since I went through the drive thru, I did not notice the food was that color until I got to my destination 40 minutes away.
As soon as I noticed, i tried calling 6 times to ask if there was something in the food, but no one answered. I even tried to call the next day and no answer. I ended up throwing the food away.
On 11/1 I went in person to try to get a refund. The lady admitted the cook accidentally included too much of a certain ingredient that day. However , I was told there is nothing they can do, and that it is my fault for not coming back to the restaurant the same day even though I was already 40 minutes away, and even though they did not answer the phone 6 times. I showed my phone call logs and the employee said , well we were busy probably.
When she said this , I asked for a manager but I was told there is no way for me to contact the manager, and that the manager has no set schedule, which is not helpful.
I tried to be polite but the employee was immediately defensive, rude and unhelpful. She even claimed thousands of people came and went and that no one complained, which cannot be true because the people who I bought the food for thought the color looked nasty.
I believe they are being cheap and do not want to own up to the mistake that the cook made that day.
