Tacos El Goloso

I tried their street tacos @$2.99 each. Al Pastor is excellent and pulled pork and asada are good. They give you consommé to dip the tacos in. Pulled pork is better with the dipping sauce as it has a porky taste. It’s casual and easy place to get a quick bite. Chips are fried in oil so they are crunchy and crispy. I will try their California fries and burritos next time. Parking is free and likely enough for most times.

Love the food and the service. The only thing I don't like is the chairs.......if you are wider in the hips, like me, it's can be a tight squeeze, but the noise from people dragging them is painful. It obviously isn't that big a deal since we are repeat customers. The flan, if it's not sold out, is amazing! Definitely worth the trip!

$85 to go order totalling at least 20 tacos plus sides, etcetera... disinterested cashier / order taker could barely be bothered to help, got my very easy name wrong after correcting her three times. Mostly, though, it was when she said with our large order, they would include a SINGLE small bag of chips. If we had placed 7 separate 3 taco orders, apparently they would have included 7 small bags of chips. Chips are inexpensive and make the customer feel appreciated. Being "stingy" with chips is not a good look. If this is policy... little or no chips for big orders... it's not advantageous from a marketing standpoint. When I told our guests tonight... they said "we won't go there any more".

I have ordered from this place loads of times. They had some of the best guacamole. They have now changed it to some weird watery sauce and still charging for it. Its the equivalent of a salsa which should be max $.50. Then they have on uber eats that my flautas were supposed to have guacamole and it came with the guacamole sauce. Then they had that the beans were refried with cheese. All they give you is a container with wet beans and no cheese. Very disappointing that they trued to “fix” something that wasnt broken in the first place and have decided to cheap out on items most people want when they eat Mexican food.

Great tasting food, no matter what you order. The tacos dorados de birria are plenty cheesy & flavorful. Burritos are well proportioned & street tacos are delicious. If you haven't tried this place, I highly recommend it. Plenty of parking as well as dining tables(indoor/outdoor).

This was my wife and I first time at the taco🌮 Restaurant Their tacos were really great. The shells were nice and soft, not hard like other taco shells. They had the dipping sauce Green and Red Salsa. The only complaint I had was the Mexican Coca-Cola cost 🥤$4.49 For the Glass bottle Other than that, everything is great. I want to try their burrito🌯 next. I'll definitely go back if you're hungry This is a good place to take to whole family. There's even seating outside to enjoy the nice weather There's a couple of handicapped parking.♿️.... There's men and women Restrooms🚹 🚺.... If you're looking for a job, there are now hiring. You must speak English and Spanish.....

The Birria Tacos were on point💪🏾. When ordering the only thing I wasn't happy with was the size container of consomme they put in my to go order "tiny"😫 & it was all juice no meat. But I ordered a Large cup of it & asked for meat to be added. Apparently you have to ask for meat🤷🏾‍♂️. I still loved the food it was delicious & I a large cup of juice with meat to for lunch order dinner. Overall it was a win win.

This Place is conveniently placed in the south East corner of Hawthorne Blvd and Pacific Coas Highway!!! Plenty of parking in the plaza and the service is excellent. Food was served hot fast and delicious. Clean floors tables and chairs. Definitely a stop for birria cravings. I had a birria torta for 11 dollars it came with chips lime a pepper and a small consomé. Uff! So tasty definitely hit the spot. The food server had an awesome smile and asked me to enjoy it so I did!!!!! Her name is Francis and is part of the family that runs this place. An absolute success. Ow a favorite spot in the area! Oh they also have two big screen TVs and a good treat since the World Cup is playing these days. The ambiance is great. Clean modern nice, will fill you with taste and won’t break your bank. I actually cabe back and had the Tacos dorados and they are dead on spot Bomb!!!! I saw Francis gain and she gave me that great service and smile! Thanks

My favorite place to get birria tacos. I usually get the 5 birria tacos combo. The consommé is always seasoned well and the tacos are crispy and full of flavor. The potato tacos are also good, but i would always get them with something else because it's not as filling imo. They taste like a mix between a crispy taco and mashed potatoes and I'm here for it. Service is usually pretty reasonable considering how busy they are. There's ample seating but I always like to take these home

The food here is so good! The birria tacos, nachos, vampiros, potato tacos...all good! The salsa is also spicy, which makes it all even better. Every order comes with a small bag of chips as well. Food always comes out piping hot. The jalapeños that come with the tacos always varies in spice level. They've started to become pretty stingy about how many salsas they give per order. Will always come back here.

We ordered takeout from Tacos El Goloso and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Tacos Dorados De Birria which were insanely crunchy, cheesy, and filled with beef. The consommé was super flavorful on its own, so the combination was amazing. We also ordered the asada street tacos, which were delicious as well and packed with meat. The chicken street tacos were just all right, but they went well with the salsa. Honestly probably wouldn't order them again. Cannot wait to come back for more of the birria tacos and to try one of their burritos!

I love tacos so goloso.. it's so good! We got their birria tacos and carne asada fries. I love how their tacos how a lot of meat in it and same with their fries as well. Everything was well cooked and prepped to order. Would love to go back and try other things on their menu but after what I had.. not too sure if I want anything else!

This is a very good taco spot. We shared an order of Chicken Flautas, and 4 each Pastor & Carnitas Street Tacos. Flautas: 5-Stars Pastor Tacos: 3.5 Stars Carnitas Tacos: 4 Stars Everything was enjoyable but I was surprised that the star of the meal was the Flautas! You should definitely get those no matter which tacos you decide on LOL Ordering was straight forward & simple; the wait time was pretty short and everything was fresh. There are plenty of tables and the shared parking lot has lots of spots. Both the restaurant and parking lot are kept clean.

Great tacos at a great price. The birria tacos are amazing and well priced!! I've also gotten their tacos and burritos before and all are great. The consommé is amazing too. They have parking spots for free in a lot. It's also a large enough place with indoor seating and a restroom. Always very clean. Workers and nice and ordering is quick

I've ordered from this place a few times via GH, DD, and UBER Eats; however, since I have cancelled the first two apps due to such high costs (currently have Uber Eats gratis via Instacart+ & still expensive), I decided to order online directly from the restaurant and pick up myself to save some $$$. I was craving a bean and cheese burrito and a lil sumthin' sumthin' more so I ordered the tacos dorados de papa (potatoes). I dug into the tacos first and they were absolutely delicious! Very crunchy without an inch of grease, and they came with alot of lettuce and some tomato, green salsa (wasn't crazy about it) and what I assumed to be birria sauce (wasn't crazy about it, either). What these tacos definitely needed was some spicy red salsa instead! As for the bean and cheese burrito, it was definitely a good size but lacked flavor. I ordered it with onions and the beans still lacked flavor and the cheese was cojita I believe (crumbled white cheese) & I personally did not like it on a bean and cheese burrito. I ate half and saved the other half for later in the afternoon so I warmed it up in the toaster oven and it did improve the taste but still not my thing. Otherwise, parking was pretty plentiful and the restaurant was very clean with nice employees. Food is very authentic but I would not order that type of burrito again, but the tacos were bomb! I will definitely order something different next time but the tacos will be on my repeat list!

Great service, great food. Loved the roasted jalapeño with the meals. Ordered online for about 15 people. Was ready pretty quickly and staff brought it out to the car for me.

I ordered thru Uber Eats priority and the food was good. The tacos were very flavorful and the meat was soft. The birria torta was also very good and well presented. I wish I would have taken pictures but the food smelled so good. Their horchata was also good not too sweet.

My Bay Area friend was visiting SoCal for the weekend, and they were craving birria tacos on their last day here. I mean, can you blame them? Not many decent options up there. Unfortunately, a day trip to SD was out of the question since their flight was in a couple of hours. So we stayed close to the airport and ended up at this place. Tacos El Goloso is a South Bay taqueria chain with seven locations spanning Hermosa Beach to Carson. We went to their Torrance restaurant along PCH. Ample parking spaces out front, with a few more spots in the back. Plenty of seating inside as well. Their menu also has flautas, mulitas, quesadillas, tortas, burritos, etc. if you're craving something else. Pay at the counter, find an open table, and they'll call out your name when your order is ready. I got a trio of different taco meats with soft corn tortillas. My favorite was the birria of course, I should have just gotten this for all three! The stripped and shredded slow-cooked beef was well marinated and seasoned. Dipped it in the included consommé... muah! Chef's kiss! Pollo was also flavorful. Their asada was dry, but the sauce helped. Friend enjoyed their crispy birria tacos and agua fresca. I'm sure they'll be back soon!

Super amazed with service and the extras that came with my food! I was craving tacos one night so I yelped the nearest taco place. Then I saw Tacos El Goloso which I didn't know existed until I found it on Yelp. I decided to try this place out! It was empty when I got there, but saw several to-go orders on the shelf. The interior is huge and the servers are very nice. I ordered 4 tacos (birria, asada, carnitas, and pastor). Not gonna lie, I couldn't tell the difference in meat when I was eating them. I got it to-go so I waited around for under 10 minutes. As I was waiting, I looked around the restaurant. They have tvs that's playing something. I noticed a sign that says 'No Refill' and saw that their drinks are either frescas or canned sodas. I got my food and they packed with a red and a green sauce, tortilla chips which i didn't order, 4 tacos, and like a small sauce/soup which I'm not sure what it's called! I paid around $11-$12 and I got so much food! The tortilla chips were a nice gesture! Definitely coming back for more tacos!

I've probably visited this place about 3-4 times in under two weeks. My favorite is their Tacos Dorados De Papa (potato tacos) & carne asada CA fries - the tacos de papa to go order has the toppings on the side to prevent the tacos from getting soggy but you can request to have it on top of the tacos if you want. The second time I ordered this I asked for toppings not on the side and didn't realize until after that the lemon and pepper was missing - but this didn't stop me from devouring it in under ten minutes and usually I need lemon or lime on my tacos I tried both the birria CA fries and the carne asada and the carne asada is more flavorful. TBH, I was surprised because I'm not much of a carne asada person & I've had better carne asada fries in terms of amount/portion given but NONE of them had carne asada this flavorful. Usually when I order anything carne asada there is an overly chewy/fatty piece and this place didn't have that and I loved it Each piece perfectly cut and all meat no fat Each order comes with tortilla chips and salsa & i always ask for extra salsa because they give a lot of chips. - the chips are a hit or miss, 1 out of the 4 times I ordered the chips didn't have the same fresh crunch to it, almost tasted like it was left out and double fried & this one time was the day I was missing the lemon and pepper The broth they give on the side is bomb. It's perfect for appetizer like a small soup starter or to end the meal like a flavorful cup of tea except yummier The place has plenty of indoor seating and it always looks clean whenever I pass through to pay for the order - but I've only ordered take out so this is my opinion at quick glance. It's a casual fast sit down type of place. Parking is easy and I've never had issues. They take Apple Pay which is also a nice plus

Love the tacos, the salsa & grilled Serrano chili's hit the spot, my kids love them!!! The service, is excellent always nice & welcoming, we are regular customers!!!! Yummy !!

Service is very friendly and quick if you're in a rush, the ambiance is like being at home, you're very well taken care of by a smiling and great staff, the food is excellent, there's so much to choose from and it's flavor is so satisfying, it's a place I would recommend and go back to anytime

Had been meaning to try Tacos El Goloso. I have seen them all over town and they always looked busy. Tonight was the night. This location has a large parking lot but it is shared by many establishments and the parking spots arethisclose!!! The dining room was full but only 2 people before me in line. I ordered the 3 birria tacos that comes with chips. Whether you dine in or take your order to go, everything is packed in styrofoam containers and placed in bags. It took 15 minutes for the order. The tacos were delicious and the sauce was good. Fresh chips were a nice treat. I would like to try the potato tacos next. Ok, bye.

Disappointing. I guess I'm giving an extra star because my family thought the birria was "pretty good ". We wanted takeout after a busy weekend. My daughter and husband decided on this place (they've had food from this location before). My daughter placed the order and was told it would take 20 minutes. 40 minutes later - still not ready. Took almost an hour. They ordered birria tacos, a quesadilla, a burrito and a side of beans and a side of guac. These beans, guys....so bad. Bean soup basically with no seasoning (even salt). This tiny guac not even full for $3??? Birria tacos were as said "pretty good". I really didn't want to order from here and my family now concedes. There are so many fantastic places to get birria and great Mexican food around the South Bay. No need to spend your money on something so mediocre.

Love their food, service is good , enough tables n chairs to sit , BUT they really need to do something about their restrooms. They're always dirty, hot and humid in there. Please invest in your restrooms. Your team and customers would be very thankful .

If you're craving birria tacos, this is the spot. They have multiple locations in the South Bay. Order at the counter and they will call your name when it's ready. Plenty of seating indoors. Tacos Dorados De Birria (3 for $8.99): This is their signature dish. I was surprised how much I liked these because I usually don't like greasy, oily foods. You have to squeeze some lemon into the consome and then dip the tacos in. MMM! They were SO good-- savory, meaty, cheesy and juicy. The acid from the lemon cuts down the greasiness level so it's just right. They also come with a small side of tortilla chips and salsa. Wash it all down with an ice cold Mexican Coke and voila~ perfection! Street Tacos: We got the al pastor tacos which I usually love especially when they come with juicy grilled pinapple chunks. However, these tacos were super DRY. Even the measly pineapple pieces were practically dehydrated. There was also too much dry meat and not enough onions/cilantro. These also come with a side of consome which I can see why. You have to dip them into the consome for them to be edible. I would pass on these next time. Parking: free in plaza lot

This place is known for their birria. It's phenomenal. I tried all of the menus here, but my favorite is the burrito and tacos (with birria). The portions are huge and food comes fast even during busy hours. My critique is that other meat options are pretty mediocre compared to the birria. I got the torta with the asada and the bowl with chicken, both were extremely salty and do not suggest ordering it. I recommend just coming for the birria. Prices are decent and each order comes with a side of chips and salsa :)

Came on a slow lunchtime Monday. No asada! Why? They wouldnt say but getting birria is extra $$. Only the birria is decent. Chicken was dry and bland. Fries are dry and bland. Flautas flavorless. Asked for onions&cilantro on the side but nope they it threw right on so my kids wouldnt eat it. Consume was served cold and diluted. Shady with their salsa. No water cups, must buy drinks--no refills.

05/27/2024 - Came to grab a quick lunch on the Memorial Day holiday. The place still looks the same, clean tables. The cashier that took my order was very nice and patient. The food was the same, amazing. It had great flavor and just delicious to eat.

Our favorite local taco spot! Delicious birria tacos and especially enjoy the tacos dorados de birria. While it includes the same meat and the birria plate, the birria plate tortillas are not pan fried -- and while not the healthier option, it is delicious and not overly oily. Efficient and friendly service and casual ambiance. Plenty of parking out front.

This Tacos El Goloso has really good asada burritos and the complementary tortillas chips they give on the side are very fresh, well salted and the perfect crunch. I tried their birra burrito and for the most part is was very tasty but I got some random big sticks I'm thinking from one of the herbs used to season. I always order on yelp and pick up my food. Fast service and they have a nice restaurant plenty of inside seating.

Tried a handful of items including their birria plate, asada bowl, and birria burrito. The meat was decent and unfortunately, my burrito was pretty anemia. Not terrible by any means, but not memorable at all either.

Tried this place for the first time today it was so good! The birria tacos were perfect, they had the right amount of cheese and seasoning! The prices here are also super reasonable. Our cashier was super kind too! Will definitely be coming back :)

Nowhere near as good as the San Pedro location that I frequent. This Torrance location does not give out water, they require you to buy bottles (shiestier than other locations I've been to) -Quesa Birria Tacos were average, underseasoned and lacking in savory department. -Carnitas Torta was tiny and just had zero flavor. Not worth 10 bucks Stick to the locations closer to the hood

We love the birria tacos and nachos here - the food is always reliably perfectly done and portions are quite decent size. We often do takeout here but there is typically plenty of seating for dining in as well. It's relatively quiet and tables spaced apart nicely for some privacy. Typically order 2 birria tacos per person (can get an order with 2, 3, or 4) plus say half a burrito (assuming you have someone to split with). Service is always fast and food ready quickly and on-time. Best birria we've found in South Bay area.

Food quality has changed in the last year. We always buy here at least twice a month but lately the Birria taco is not always freshly cooked and the soup has diluted

Got the carne asada burrito and a side of guacamole. Good tasting burrito. The guacamole was a perfect complement for the burrito and the free chips

Constantly messes up online orders. Don't even bother with the checkboxes, expect those requests to be ignored.

Some of the best birria tacos in the South Bay! Usually I'm not super into chain restaurants that serve birria but this one doesn't disappoint.

Went in tonight around 7:10, and generally this place is good, but tonight is a bad experience. Bunch of kids working the front, and rather than telling us to give them a second, they're busy talking behind the counter and another was on her phone and proceeded to go to the back, rather than acknowledge us. (Line was going out the door) We ordered 4 Tacos de Birria (2 orders) and a drink. As we waited patiently, everyone that ordered after us was getting called for their food. We asked after 20 min if it was ready and they said it wasn't. Waited another 15 min and still not ready. After waiting over 30 min. (Receipt is time stamped) we requested a refund. Manager came, didn't acknowledge us, or even gave an apology, employees getting a hissy fit in the back, because all of a sudden our order is ready. Nah I'm good, there's plenty of other Taco places somewhere else. After this experience, I'd rather go to the Harbor City location where I originally started going years ago. Torrance location, you need to get better and know how to handle a business. I'd put negative stars if I could.

The food was very good. I had two asada street tacos. The only downside was that tables weren't clean - had not been wiped down from previous person. Food, papers and sauce remained on the majority of tables. It was surprising as I went at 2pm and it wasn't busy at the time.

Ordered 3 and 5 pcs tacos and two separate bag. Old women said cannot make two bag because new paper bag. OMG Save bag for 10cent and loosing 30 dollars. Won't go back again. Better find other taco place

A classic spit for tacos at affordable prices. It's a walk up stand in a mini mini mall right off the busy highway. I ordered their birria special with pork and cheese and crunchy shells, plus dipping sauce, salsa and chips. Three delicious tacos!

What a lively place to come to the music fills the air with the chatter of the patrons which makes you want to sit down and eat!!! The menu has a variety of Mexican dishes.. today's treat Tacos Dorados De Burris - 3 hard shell tacos , packed with meat, cheese, onions and cilantro!! What more could a woman ask for!! Luicianna is great she rang up my order and knows the menu Ike the back of her hand - now let's get to the tacos---the first bite did it.. I don't know if you look at your food especially if it is good! I did I was trying to break down every flavor that I could taste!!! Ooweeee, so flavorsome and pleasing to my tastebuds!!! although the tacos were fried hard they were soft on the inside!!!I Every bite has a burst of flavor!! A small bag of tortilla chips are included in the order along with salsa. The crunch factor on the chips are a 10, the spiciness of the salsa is a plus. One chip -just dip, you won't trip but you will be wanting just a little more!!!The consommé is equally delicious, and seasoned!!! My thanks to the chef!!!

Delicious!! This was my third time trying birria and I enjoyed every bit of it . I wish I had more photos but everything was great. I went around lunchtime so it was a little bit crowded, which was to be expected. I ordered and and was out with my food in about 15 minutes. Lots of seating area if you want to sit inside, and all of the staff was very friendly. Definitely will be going back!

World's salty burrito! This shit is so salty takis or Lucas ain't got shit on them! I enjoy the burrito came with consume that was a nice touch

Ordered chicken Burritos last night, received the wrong food, called back today for a refund & a very rude manager name Francis refused to refund us and called us a liar . Would pay for garbage but not to these cheap rude people... Shame on you for hiring sucha Managar, my money will get stuck going down your throat.

Where's the beef? My wife and I got some food to go. I got the Al Pastor burrito with everything and my wife got the birria nachos. My burrito was like the healthiest burrito I've ever had, it tasted vegetarian with all of the rice, beans and guacamole however I could not detect any meat. I had a subtle hint of pineapple which probably should have accompanied by pastor but no dice. After I was done my wife offered me her birria nachos. I just ate the meat from her nachos with a fork so that I didn't get hungry. The chips were unfortunately very soggy like oily wet tortilla triangles. I would have gave only one star however my vegetarian burrito was actually pretty good even though that's not what I ordered. So they get two stars. Guacamole was good, beans were good and also the tortilla.

Birria tacos...first bite is a juicy balance of tender meat-begs to be dunked in the birria juice. Seasoning is balanced & not too spicy for those sensitive to such things. Onions, salsas, cilantro...all fresh. You won't forget the flavor.
