Tacos El Patrón is amazing! The food was delicious and full of flavor. The service was great and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Portion sizes were generous, especially for the price. Overall, a fantastic experience — highly recommend!

This place … wow! Came in with my family based on the reviews and pricing. Taco salad was so good! Child size burrito was huge, as were the quesadillas. And then we were given half a rotisserie chicken by the owner! Salsa and hot sauce were perfect! If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be back!

Food was amazing. Very authentic flavor, portions are excellent and service was great. They help you with questions on your order, check on you and make sure your food is perfect. Margarita was also a hit. 10/10 experience, this New Mexican approved taco spot. This place will be a new regular rotation when i come to town

It was a First time visit based on South Denver Food FB Group Posts and it did not disappoint. The rotisserie chicken was Fantastic along with pinto beans, Spanish rice, white flour tortillas and great tasting sauces. Enjoy ~ Steve & Lorri Hose Littleton

10 out of 10 we had the quessabirra and the lunch pollo plate, large portions, delicious food, and scrumptious margaritas and amazing service! Drove 3 1/2 hours out of state and will return :)

We said “why not?” at trying this taco place bc it just popped up out of no where while driving through. Such a great choice. Amazing tacos & amazing service. My husband misses rotisserie chicken from his home country & he says this is as close as it gets. It’s delicious food & is AUTHENTIC Mexican food!!!!!!! 🌮😙🇲🇽

My fav taco in the area. We ordered a bowl and split it. If you think about it, it's kinda like a giant taco. Clean place with fresh cooking to order. Staff is nice and service is quick. You gotta check it out.

We're not usually in this area but found this highly reviewed taco spot on Yelp. I really wanted to be wow'd but I'd rate it good, decent tacos. Prices were fair. Clean tables. Not sure I'd drive too far out of the way to return.

I hate to say it but this place was a huge let down. This isn't your average taqueria, this is a cafeteria style restaurant. We were not expecting that going on. As for the positives, the staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very clean inside, and it was fairly busy. As for the negatives, I got the Asada Burrito Bowl & the Asada was very overcooked and burnt. After two bowls & two beers it was basically $40 which felt like a lot. The quality of some of the food wasn't great (not sure how long the rice was sitting). Overall, this place was kind of a let down :( I feel really bad because it's a family owned business, but give it a try. It just personally wasn't for me.

What a dope family owned spot!!! I had the pleasure of going this weekend with my hubby and friends that introduced us to this place, and wowowowwow talk about Flavor Town! We tried the tacos, and the quesabirria. I love that you can mix and match your protein options, giving yourself the chance to try all the meat options! The staff was really friendly, Jose helped us out and its actually his family that owns the shop! The consume to the quesabirria was my favorite part-- I could have drank it as a soup it was that tasty! I enjoyed their roasted jalapeno it was spicy and made my lips tingle(: We also tried their chocoflan and I enjoyed it! The wall art was dope and even has their family name on the hat, love the pride!! Oh and they have a Clean bathroom! Grateful to have a spot like this outside Denver! Cant wait to be back!!!

You know when you drive past a place and you're like oh I should try that place and then a few days later you forget your lunch and then you realize it's a perfect time to try said place? Yeah, that was Tacos el Patron and I'm glad I did! Lots of choices, fast, fresh food, friendly & staff. I would recommend!

Amazing great tacos!!! My wife and I are impressed and this is our taco shop from here on out! The manager was really nice and got us a high chair from the restaurant next door since they didn't have any left!

This restaurant is great!!!! The food is all delicious Their meats are so tender and homestyle cooked. The owners are so nice Everything I've enjoyed has been wonderful. I highly recommend this Mexican food restaurant!!! Excellent family to go packs as well. They also make home made margaritas!

We recently ordered a variety of tacos, a steak burrito, and a smothered burrito from Tacos el Patron's online menu. The portions were generous, and the pick-up process was easy. While waiting, I was offered a complimentary horchata--really nice! They added everything but the kitchen sink to the smothered burrito and I felt like they really some to please. Overall it was flavorful and a solid choice. We will be sure to order again when looking for Mexican food.

WOAH!!!! Come here! Service amazing! Homemade Mexican food, absolutely delicious!!!! Rotisserie chicken woah get it! Delicious crispy skin and juice chicken with tortillas and rice and potato salad tasted so delicious! Also tried the al pastor quesadilla and carnitas and al pastor tacos all DELICIOUS! Best tasting Mexican food in the area and great friendly service and place is super clean!!

The details: Came in on Thursday evening to grab a quick bite. Not super late, but a couple hours before closing. Wife ordered a half chicken meal, I grabbed three tacos. Both meals came with beans and rice. The review: The rotisserie chicken was extremely dry, almost like the turkey Chevy Chase served on Christmas Vacation. Looked like jerky. My tacos were poorly seasoned, and I had to dump a bunch of salt and salsa to make them taste better. The corn tortillas had a funny taste to them. Probably from sitting in a steamer all afternoon. For $30, I'll go to the local taco trucks next time.

I've been back a total of 4 times and each time is better than the last! The food has always been delicious but I mainly go for the chicken!! It's delicious and crispy every single time, paired with the rice/beans and salsa it's the perfect lunch/dinner combo. I've even tried their tacos and quesadillas and everything has been seasoned to perfection. Great place, I try to stop by every time I'm in the area.

Been looking for a good rotisserie chicken and this place has great options. I like the half chicken dinner, so flavorful for all the chicken pieces. Great tasting rice and salsa. Not a fan of the nachos but will try the burritos next.

Food is excellent here! I had tacos and the taco salad. The shell was hands down the best I've ever had! I ate the whole thing - which I've never done. And the mom & pop hospitality made it even better.

What a fantastic addition to south Denver near Park Meadows Mall!!! I ordered the 2 piece rotisserie chicken meal- she gave me a sample of the chicken and it was sooo moist and flavorful! For sides I had the pinto beans (again so flavorful) and the coleslaw. It also comes with choice of tortillas and choice of salsa- I had the flour tortillas and avocado salsa and medium red salsa. Sat here and made my own little tacos and it was so authentic and delicious. I'm from California and I miss this style of Mexican food! This is a family owned restaurant and they are so hospitable and excited to share their creations! The menu also includes burritos, tacos, quesadillas and nachos- can't wait to come back and eat my way through the menu! It will remind u of the El Pollo Loco chicken meals except this is more fresh and delicious!! Go and enjoy!

They sat they specialize in grilled meats, so we got a whole chicken, which came with tortillas and pico de gallo. The minuscule bird tasted of absolutely no seasoning, the pico de gallo was basically tasteless chopped tomato, and the tortillas had been heated in the plastic bag they came in, so we tossed them. All this for more than twice what would have been better from any supermarket. We wanted to support a small business, oh well.

Where to start...how about nice and friendly folks who were working. The lady was so sweet and helpful. The food? We did carne asada tacos and they were so tasty. I also was able to get a sample of their smother sauce and it was yum with just the right amount of kick. It was very clean - they also have an option for a bowl - I may have to try that next time. Try this place! I guess it's slowed down since a couple places closed and I hope the community can come together to support a locally owned place that delivers on service, quality, and food!

This is a must try if you're in the area! Stumbled upon this taco shop and found out they recently opened 3 months ago. I ordered two asada tacos and you could taste the quality in the ingredients. Hubby got 4 quesabirria tacos where you can mix and match the fillings. The quesabirria tacos were absolutely incredible. The service was great, very friendly, restaurant is super clean, and we will absolutely be back!

Awesome New Mexican place. The food is amazing and priced well, the family that owns it is super nice. And good casual indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be coming back.

This family owned place is an amazing alternative to the food options in this area. The chicken was tender and juicy, the sides and sauces full of flavor and the service faultless. I will certainly consider this restaurant as my to go favorite for family dinner.

These tacos taste like abuela herself whispered the recipe to the chicken spinning on the rotisserie. Juicy, smoky, and so good, I'm tempted to invite myself to their family dinner. Four stars and I'd give a fifth if I could have the recipe for the chicken!

The food was delicious. I took my boys out for dinner and to my surprise, they wanted tacos. So to Tacos El Patron we went. The staff was very nice and the food was outstanding. This is definitely now our local taco shop. Next time, we'll even bring Mommy.

Food was fresh, meats were tender and flavorable. They have options of Barbacoa, chicken, steak,, vegetarian, and much more! The staff was absolutely amazing and kind and made sure our food was top quality. Family owned and delicious!

The chicken was the best out of everything we tried. We will be back just for that alone! The tacos were good but average and the burrito was also good. Will be back for sure. Also love the grilled jalapeños on the side

Don't judge a book by its cover. The food is amazing and the portions are good too. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. They even knew what's gluten free and what isn't.

Thank goodness for this place! We just went here and had one of every taco. The tacos and salsas were wonderful and flavorful. We will definitely make this part of the regular rotation.

The food was pretty good. We wish there was music instead of sports on the TV but that's probably just us.

Real Mexican food, no Tex-mex. Grandmothers and moms making the food - perfect and no need to add extra hot sauce since everything is seasoned just right but you can if you want.
