Tacos El Rodeo

We ordered asata fries, steak taco, & birria tacos. The total was $22. The cashier had no singles to provide & wanted us to order more food instead of making change. I ended up finding exact total from change in my car(it was 1pm so there was no excuse for not having change). The fries probably would have been better if they were fresh potatoes & not frozen fries. The meat in the tacos was not seasoned.

The best spot for tacos in Detroit hands down! My favorite tacos with Authentic taste.

First & last time eating from this food truck. We were there for lunch before 2pm and we paid $37. First of all we should have walked away when there were no prices listed that's on us. There was no "lunch" menu on the side of the truck, only a few specific items to choose from but no prices. We ordered chicken enchilada dinner, Birria Rodeo Bowl, fish tacos & shrimp tacos. The chicken enchilada's were flavorless & the guac was brown the tortilla's were flour not corn, fish tacos okay after adding salsa. The Rodeo Bowl birria meat was good, but no flavor to the rest of the bowl. Received 2 small cups of salsa 1 mild/1 spicy for everything ordered. Disappointed. Too many other great choices to come back to this truck.

I love Tacos El Rodeo! The best tacos and burritos you’ll find anywhere near Detroit! The jalapeño sauce goes extra hard too! I don’t know how but when I head to Tacos El Rodeo, I get more excited than I was when OG Fortnite dropped! This is a W taco truck for sure!

Showed up early for a tattoo appointment decided to look up a local mexican food spot. Highly recommend!

10$ for 5 tacos, i dont think it can get any better than that! The lady was really sweet and its super easy to find the location! Definitely will be back!!! :)

I ordered birria tacos from their truck, there is no beef on them I literally ate onion and cilantro. Consomè very watery and no taste. Very poor presentation. Very disappointed I don’t recommend this food truck.

The tacos were delicious! I got chicken and fish tacos. The chicken was well seasoned and super flavorful. The hot salsa was on point. The fish tacos had the right amount of crisp from the batter. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my questions. Definitely going back.

An underrated gem! I've tried the steak, spicy beef, spicy pork, beer battered tilapia, and beer battered shrimp tacos thus far - all of which have been delicious! Flavorful and juicy. Great deal in the area, especially on Taco Tuesday, which knocks the price to $2/taco ($3 for the seafood).

I went to the food truck during the Detroit tequila fest and the girl serving food was very very rude. They gave my order to someone else and the girl basically told me "oh well." Never apologized and when I finally got my food it was just okay and not worth the customer service the girl displayed in the window. I paid $12 for two tacos that weren't the best. Customer service is awful coming from this food truck. Very disappointed at how the girl handled the situation at the window. I love food trucks and will make it a priority never to patronize this particular food truck again.

Tacos el rodeo is my favorite place to get tacos hands down. I usually get the fish tacos, and carne tacos. I've gotten a torta once and it was burnt, but it was still tasty. But their tacos are out of this world, I always order off of doordash, I want to go there to see the full menu, I saw asada fries that I need to try that aren't on the doordash menu. But they've never messed up my order, always an amazing experience with great prices. Tacos are 2-3$. Some places charge 5$ per taco and I think Tacos el rodeo is better than the more expensive places.

The best!! The truck parks near my husbands work in Corktown.. our kids love taco Tuesday!! The last couple weeks it hasn't been there.. the look on the kids faces when they realize dad is home without tacos! So so good!!! Keep up the good work!!!

In the dozen or so times I've been to Tacos El Rodeo (usually on my lunch breaks) I've never been disappointed! Typically I get an assortment of tacos, usually ground beef, steak, and fish. While every flavor is worth trying, the ground beef taco always stands out to me the most. With their recent location being in the parking lot of Motor City Wine in Corktown, it's easy to find and has plenty of parking available. Tacos El Rodeo is and always will be a Detroit favorite of mine!

I placed a DoorDash order and the food was not great to begin with but the real issue was when I pulled a massive hair out of my beans from a combination meal. I'm disgusted that my boyfriend and I got this far into the food before realizing how unsanitary it was.

One of the best taco trucks I've been to. The ground beef has a hint of sweetness to it, the spicy beef isn't spicy but i still like it and the chicken is good as well. They don't put too much onions and cilantro on any of the tacos. They have verde (green), red and jalapeño sauce which are all great. I've tasted the Asada Fries and they were good and the quantity of the food is worth the price for it.

A transformative, delicious tacological adventure. Featuring a variety of taco configurations as well as all of the sauces. Fast, friendly service, and an affordable lunch. Highly recommended.

Love love love this food truck ! Fresh. Authentic. Cost effective and good. Especially their creamy spicy avacoda sauce on the side. The spicy beef taco and the tostada are my favorite so far. But everything has been good so far. Since it's close to work I stop by frequently and they are always quick and efficient for my taco cravings ! Thank you

This is the most over priced mediocre taco truck in all of south west DETROIT, not to mention the KIDS who work here are rude as they come. I think they're in cork town because they know they can't compete in southwest where the good taco trucks are they're aimed at the hipsters because the Hispanics aren't going to support their over priced garbage...

Wow! Saw this when driving through and thought I'd give it a shot. Food was so good I couldn't believe it. The guys in the truck were very nice too! I got the enchiladas combo. So glad I checked it out.

$2 tacos (aside from shrimp & fish: $2.50), delicious, and they take card. In a day where you'll end up paying at least $10 for some basic, convenient food in the area this place is a gem.

Simple no frills real freakin tacos taco truck. Cilantro, onions and lime. Try the azada and fish tacos. The fish tacos are probably the best things ever invented. And HORCHATA. It's amazing. It's like....everything you've ever needed in a drink. Especially if you add rum.

I would normally give them a 4/5 star rating, as I have had lunch here a dozen times over the summer, but yesterday was just bad. Stale tortilla, dried out chicken. So my plea to Taco's El Rodeo is to please keep up what you were doing right, great food at great prices. I don't mind that you raised the prices as you guys are inexpensive. But please KEEP THE QUALITY! Thank you

Good service, awesome food, and the magical corn tortillas don't get soggy.
