Unfortunately this place is super hit or miss. It's been more miss than hit lately. I'm done ordering from here. Last "burrito" I ordered was a steak roll up. Often times items are missing or just wrong. When things are made right, this place is amazing. It's just a matter of who is working that day. Edit because the owner reached out: I'll give you guys another go. I know your food is delicious when it's made correctly. Hope it's improved the next time i order it!

I went inside and got my food, there were a couple customers eating, and the place looked pretty clean… the guy working at the counter was nice when I got my food. I got a 2 for 1 chicken taco dinner, and most of my food was fine, but one of the limes was dried out, and then at the end of me eating my second taco, I bit into a little piece of red plastic, I thought it was lettuce, or a piece of tomato at first l, but it wasn’t. I called them and let them know, they apologized and offered me a refund or a replacement. That’s good customer service and the way it’s supposed to be. THIS IS THE BEST FLAN I HAVE EVER HAD!! Thanks!!

We decided to Door Dash some food from here today after not ordering from there for a few months. The burritos are much smaller than before, w a thin layer of meat, not as good and the order was not made correctly. The beans are extremely watery and the rice very bland, but they pile that in the dinner boxes so maybe you feel like you’re getting your $ worth of food. Totally not worth it. Somebody said when you go in, they are better w service and portions than when you have it delivered and I would hope they aren’t like that. The food should be the same across the board for everyone whether you’re there or not, or a man vs a woman’s name on the ticket. Either way, there’s too many Mexican restaurants in this town to settle for bad service and subpar food. Very disappointing from a place that used to be pretty top tier

Google
I’m from California and asada fries are popular over there, i could never find them like how it is in California but I found el tio and it’s the closest thing to home so far. It’s not on the menu you have ask for the nachos with meat but ask if you have fries instead of chips. (sometimes they run out or don’t have fries) I work night shift so i come in between 2-3x a week around 5am , there tacos are also good but expensive except on Tuesday for the pastor special deal

My family and I want for the first time it’s was good. My bill was $37.28 and I pay with $100. She give me back $2.73 I told if I could get my receipt and she said no. I told her if I could get a manager. Don’t worry I will give to right now. Just be careful with your change.

Google
Seriously, the best tacos in town. Them being 24 hours open and being super clean, i would not go anywhere else to eat taco anymore. I have already dined in 2 times a week. Their homemade hot sauce is very good and prices are more than fair.

Google
Solid authentic taco spot. I had the Steak Tacos and they were really good. They can get expensive once you add Cheese and other toppings. Both of the sauces were good and had some heat to them. This might be my new spot especially since they are open 24 hours!!!! If you're looking for some authentic and great-tasting Mexican food check them out. Highly recommend the Grande Steak Tacos! They are huge and the home made Tortillas are great!

This is it. Yes. This is the Mexican restaurant that you have to try. Super small inside. But the food is extra amazing. Love it and will be back again and again.

Yelp
Great new fast food Mexican restaurant serving delicious food. Stopped in here for lunch while working in the area and the place was hopping. A friendly lady took my order and the food came out fairly quickly. Their menu is not huge but once I looked around to see what people have ordered the decision was not easy. Decided to go with steak burrito and I was not disappointed. It had great flavor and if for some reason it didn't hit my taste buds just right it comes with two small containers of different sauces and few lime wedges. While I was waiting for my food, a guy sitting near by mentioned to me that he has been to this spot few times and food is always on point. I agree, great food.

Yelp
Girl(chubby) in the front ( night shift ) was impatient rude and just nasty acting. Literally didn't make me feel comfortable even ordering.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. I love their al pastor, it is perfection every time. The food is fresh and delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and nice and hot, ready quickly too, even when it was crowded.

Yelp
Love that it's open 24hours I do uber there all the time, always on point. I even spend my personal cuz it smells so good

Vincent O.

Yelp
Always open always tasty. Love both the steak and al pastor tacos. Don't listen to any reviews below 4 stars as they are clearly bots from Taco Bell to steer business away from this amazing establishment

Yelp
Hours are so convenient, we were craving Mexican food at 1am finally decided to stopped in; fast service, good food, spicy salsa, HUGE portions reasonable pricing! They did have a mini rush come in even though it was a random Monday says a lot , overall gets the job done. We recommend the pastor over the asada though and rice beans could use salt.

Yelp
Food is absolutely disgusting. It was good when it was new. Now you can tell they don't care. Ordered tacos for delivery twice. Spent over $50. Complete garbage. Made for drunks and people who have no taste buds. Dry flavorless steak. The el pastor was so over seasoned I choked trying to eat it. Never again. I'll stick to Los comales.

Michelle J.

Yelp
The food is really good, prices are a little high the service makes me not want to eat inside this place. The servers aren't friendly at all and they make faces like they hate their job.

Yelp
everywhere t they advertise they're open 24 hours. drove all the way out from Aurora. it's 330 am and they're closed. I called and was told they close when they want Friday and Saturday. No where is that advertised. very disappointed

Alex M.

Yelp
Al pastor tacos 6/10. "Ok" Steak tacos 4/10. "Underwhelming" Rice 5/10 "Decent" Beans 2/10 "Watery" Combined 4.25/10 Almost certainly a one and done for me.

Katelyn M.

Yelp
Great food. Fast service for pick up orders. Never disappointed. We love the nachos. We eat here at least twice a month. Will keep coming back.

Yelp
Too expensive and unfriendly service. I felt unwelcome and stared at when I walked in. Im sorry I don't speak Spanish, so it was difficult to order and I did not understand them either. Im pretty sure the girl at the register was laughing like she was making fun of me. Super uncomfortable. I should've just left. $23 for 4 tiny steak street tacos and a Jarritos. I won't come there anymore.

Yelp
My second time here. We were over charged and when corrected everything went down from food quality to customer service. I was corrected and my food was still not correct. I atremped to swap the food for the correct order then it was still wrong. I have never been so disappointed in a Joliet establishment. I want the hosts to know how's much they lose when they treat people like money can't be spent elsewhere. I have photos, receipt's, and witnessee. Even the cooks didn't want to serve me. Such discord and disrespect. Ms. Tycee Bell

Yelp
Tio's Tacos I was driving home after school, and saw that for the first time Tio Tacos wasn't super busy, so I went in. I've driven by it before, and wanted to try it, but there was always a line of people waiting to get in, so today was my lucky day. I don't know when this place opened up, but I wanted to try something new, and since they seem to be doing a lot of business, I reasoned that it must at least be passable, and they did not let me down. When I went in, the people were really friendly. When I walked in, the interior was blue, and I saw pictures of food on the wall, which made me wonder what I was going to get. The service was excellent because they showed me the menu and gave me a seat while telling me what they would recommend and what kinds of meat they had when I told them I had never been there before. I waited about 10 minutes for my food before leaving. When I got home, the food was packaged well and was still hot and ready to eat. The dish had fantastic taste and texture! The Al Pastor was one of the best tortas I've ever had. The bread was soft but crispy at the same time, and the meat was delectable. I noticed the depth of the chili peppers' smokiness, and it was mildly spicy upon first taste. Then, a spicy rush hits you like a bus. The green sauce they had was distinctive because it lacked any flavor, but what made up for it was the horchata I had because it was good and tasted smooth and creamy as if it were homemade, and it is one of my favorite drinks. Overall, I'd rate it with 5 stars! The cooks did a good job, and their heart and soul was also in it. This is going to be a new place to eat at on my list and I'll return because the service was excellent. Tio's Tacos is the place to go if you want good meals and if you're in the mood to eat at a Mexican restaurant. I highly advise that you check this place out.

Yelp
Pastor tacos are ok, service is not the best but don't ever get chilaquiles, the worse, no flavor, old meat, old rice and prices are very high

Maria C.

Yelp
Service is awful, never even check up on a person. Food is cold. Ordered enchiladas de pollo and I got burned chicken and literally a taco with onions and some random meat definitely not chicken. Rice taste like it was made from a box. Would not recommend at all.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
Ordered the nachos and it clearly states it comes with a bunch of toppings like beans and cheese and they literally only gave me lettuce, tomato, cilantro, onions, and guacamole. None of the original toppings! Will not go back.

Angelina H.

Yelp
Best torta I've ever had bro! So much flavor!!! Was skeptical due to how it looks inside n out but this has to be one of the best places I've been to- the meat was juicy- the onions were fresh!! The Chile was FULL of flavor!!! Absolutely amazing

Yelp
This was our first visit to this new restaurant. It was packed so be ready to wait since it's the hot, new thing. They were out of their signature "al pastor" by the time we got there around 5 pm today (which also happens to be Taco Tuesday). They have a special "taco Tuesday" deal which may be why it was gone so fast, but since this was our first visit, we can't say for sure. The order taker told us that steak is the next popular choice so we went with that & got some steak tacos. They were really delicious. They also put some sauce in the bag that was like a combo of guacamole & green salsa. It had a bit of a kick, but it was good too. My daughter got the steak burrito meal & loved it. I tried some of her refried beans, but I didn't like them. They tasted like they were out a can to me, but she said they were okay. I much preferred the beans from another Mexican fast food place near there to these. Their rice was very good & tasted very authentic though. Overall, the food was delicious. The horchata was very flavorful & fresh as well. It was a little sweet for me, but still delicious. I don't normally drink anything other than water or tea w/out sugar. Everyone else thought it had a great taste & was perfectly sweetened so it just depends on your personal taste. We look forward to trying some new things from their menu over time.I couldn't find any menus for Joliet location online so we snapped these pics while we were there. I always like checking out the menu if I can beforehand.

Yelp
Heard lots about this place. And it lives up to the hype. Had the burrito de lengua. Very tasty. Totally going back soon

Ricardo Y.

Yelp
Got a taco de pastor and a burrito with carne asada and chorizo. Food tastes unseasoned. Basically bland. Definitely fast service. I would probably only eat here again if someone is paying for me or if I'm drunk.
