Google
An awesome mexican place in Pueblo. We searched it randomly while on our way back from Great Sand Dune to Denver and wanted a place to have a quick bite. The place had a true mexican vibe. The food was awesome and a with true Mexican taste. The server were awesome and made sure to check on us. The price too was nominal. They food took a little time but the taste compensated for that.

Wow! I think this is my favorite restaurant in Pueblo! The tacos are amazing - I’ve never had better! The decor is fun and is instagramable. Good service! Great place! I got the birria tacos, Pueblo fries, chile wrap and mango fresco. Everything was great!!

Google
Fego Tacos in Pueblo is legit — tacos were stacked and flavorful birria and carne asada were 🔥The spot feels low-key but delivers big flavor. Shoutout to Athena — she was super friendly, on point with everything, and made the whole experience better. You can tell she cares about the customers.

I grew up in South Tucson and just got done traveling from Hawaii and abroad. I just ordered an Enchilada plate and my brother ordered a Tamale plate. The bites into each of our meals was so close to home it warmed our hearts. We each then shared a bite of the others meal and was shocked how much it reminded us of home. We ordered to go but the atmosphere while ordering was amazing. The staff are ready to answer any questions and take care of their customer. It was a warm welcome into a beautiful environment. I definitely recommend visiting. Thank you to the Manager for taking care of us

The food is really good, if you love tacos, go to this place! Went there for dinner with my friends for the first time since every place had a wait time. We ordered the tacos, which was kind of expensive since it can add up. The tacos are $3-6 with Pueblo fries it’s additional $5, but you’ll get full from 3-4 tacos with the fries. Coming from someone who can eat a lot I got full from 2 tacos and the half of the fries that’s with not having eaten all day. My only less than ideal experience was that they forgot my ‘Street Taco’. When I told them about it they didn’t charge me since I didn’t really mind and we had to leave. But I think if I had said anything about it earlier, they would have given it to me. Other than that, the food was great, servers were nice and friendly.

Google
Loved this place! All the staff were nice, the salsa bar is great, the food is FANTASTIC. Best street tacos I’ve had in a LONG time. The drinks are delicious and strong, you definitely get what you pay for! Will 100% be back here.

Google
We started at another Mexican restaurant but due to the smell we left and landed up in this joint!!! We absolutely LOVED IT! It was clean! The food was exactly like the name says FUEGO!!!! The new server had started that day and was wonderful! Definitely returning!!!

Google
I have never had this level of tacos before. Amazing food, great bar and super friendly staff. You have to eat here.

Yelp
If you're thinking of going, go! We are so glad we went out of our way home from a trip in southern Colorado to try this joint. The atmosphere is trendy and well decorated. The server and staff were both friendly and personable. The food was to die for! I tried the birria tacos and they were spot on! We also tried the queso which was thicker than normal, but offered amazing flavor. We shared the street corn and it was exactly what I love! I also drank the Colada Rita, which I don't normally drink frozen drinks but it was well worth it to try it! We are already planning another trip that way just to use the excuse to open again! Or we could request that they open a location in Castle Rock because it would be hoppin!!!

Yelp
This place is definitely a fun hangout for bikers and groups of people. It's a loud place . Food was meh to me . It's really a place to have a drink, fun with friends without having high expectations when it comes to food. Just very average. Service was so so. We were not acknowledged for several minutes upon arrival but our waitress was very attentive and pleasant once we were seated. I don't think I would come here again but I can see how some enjoy this place.

Yelp
Quick service, good food, salsa bar, to go menu, bar separate from dining area, clean restrooms, tasty birria tacos. All around great visit as I was passing through.

Darleen T.

Yelp
First of all, they sent me at the bar because I was single and they wanted to save the tables for a couples or more. I ordered two street tacos. The Carne Asada was cold and the Carnitas was cooked so crisp it was chewy. And it took a freaking hour to get my food. The service was fair and the margarita was good. This place was recommended to me, but I would not recommend this place for anybody. It was not worth my time. .
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing birria and carnitas tacos and the most awesome Pueblo fries with green chili. Margaritas were great, too!

Yelp
Great food, nice clean interior. I've been here several times. Quality is consistent. Great addition to the neighborhood!

Wendy H.

Yelp
I love this place! Everything is so deliciously authentic and the servers are so kind and helpful! I love the menudo and posole on cold weather weekends. During summer the Agua Fresca is awesome!

Sherri H.

Yelp
Very good food and service! Also awesome prices. We will definitely go again when we're in the area. They also have a great patio and it's dog friendly.
google avatar

Preston H.

Yelp
Great vibes and ambiance here. But the music isn't too loud either. Nice outdoor seating with a fire place. Friendly service. Food is great. Most recommend the Birria Tacos.

Amber H.

Yelp
Been coming here at least once a week for their street corn!! Yummy!!!! The ambience is also great! Lively recorded music along with an occasional mariachi band. Service needs a little work as this place is quite busy and the poor staff is overwhelmed.

Yelp
The food is so good! The carnitas street tacos are juicy and delicious. Taco Quesa melt is simple yet decadent. Their service is friendly and fast. I love being on the "bar side" where the vibe is fun and uplifting. The mojitos and margs aren't too bad either, lol! If you like great Mexican food affordably priced in a clean, friendly, fresh environment, what are you waiting for?

Yelp
I want to share a very, very, frustrating experience that I know Tacos Fuegos knows about, but doesn't really care about. Nor does it try to prevent it from happening. I feel confident in writing this because I've had the chance to share my experience with friends, family and co-workers and all of them know a friend or family member that have suffered through the same experience. My boss introduced me to Tacos Fuego a few months ago, and I enjoyed their food enough to start taking my friends there to catch up with each other's lives and enjoy a nice lunch. Today, after I finished lunch with my friend, I walked into the parking lot and immediately realized that my car was stolen. I was pretty flustered. I caught my friend before he left the parking lot and he gave me a ride to the police station. After the police assigned me a case number and wished me luck, we decided to drive back to Tacos Fuego to see if they had cameras in the parking lot. They did, so I went into the restaurant and ran into Jeniffer, the lady that served us during our lunch session. I told her that my car was stolen from the parking lot and asked if they could look at their cameras to see who took it. She looked me straight in the eye and said matter of factly, "It wasn't stolen, it was towed. Follow me." I followed her to the front of the restaurant and she introduced me to the manager who was being screamed at by a couple that had their car towed too! I remember the couple because they were parked right next to me. When I realized that my car was gone and went to the police station, their car was still there. I guess it was towed in the time that it took me to file a police report and return to Tacos Fuego. Apparently, this happens all the time. I take the blame for not seeing the sign. The No Parking sign wasn't marked well, but I should've known better. I'm sure that the Old Bag that owns Pink Flamingo Hair Salon - and the parking lot that my car was towed from - stares out the crack of her partially open back door daily looking for her next victims. If I owned Tacos Fuegos, I would go to extreme measures to ensure that future patrons know about the towing scam that is being run by Pink Flamingo Hair Salon. Honestly, if people saw CLEARLY marked no parking signs, they WOULDN'T park there. Thankfully, I'm blessed to be able to afford lunch, and the $398 towing fee that RMA Towing charged me for legally stealing my car. My heart goes out to the folks that can't afford it. Single mothers catching up with their friends, old couples on fixed pensions, etc. I think what really has me shaking my head about Tacos Fuegos is that they know that this happens and don't really go to any measure to warn their patrons. I've already shared this message with friends, family, and co-workers. I've whole heartedly recommended that they forego lunch plans at Tacos Fuego.

Yelp
Was very good , really recommend . I love the great service and the people there. It's a great place and I hope to be there someday soon

Yelp
Food was very good, Pina Rita was delicious and the service was excellent! I will be coming back!

Yelp
Still my favorite! I found their Carnitas Al Pastore Tacos are delicious, They were a special they offered and I can't get enough of them now!! They aren't on the regular menu but if you ask they'll make them.

Daniel M.

Yelp
The food is excellent. The salsa, the beans and rice, the birria tacos!!! All really good. They have an affordable kids option unlike other places and their wait staff is professional and attentive. Really good margaritas and agua frescas as well! The Mexican food in Pueblo is awesome and this is one of the best for sure!

Rhonda R.

Yelp
Good tacos. Asada salsa from the salsa bar was sooooo good. We had street tacos with carnitas, the pinto, chicken tinga, and el fuego. All good. Also easy to get to when traveling through. Great server as well.

Trevor M.

Yelp
Very friendly and great tacos! I highly recommend the Birria tacos and the Pueblo fries. I don't eat pork, so they substituted vegetarian green chilie on the fries and it was fantastic! Come early, I was here on a Wednesday night and the place was packed.

Greg H.

Yelp
We've been eating at their little place at the North Shore Marina on Lake Pueblo for the last couple summers. Finally made it to the restaurant last year. Food is amazing, service is great and the people are friendly. I'd definitely recommend trying it if you haven't, you won't be disappointed! My favorite is the Birria tacos. I make it at home, but it's a lot of work. I'd rather get it here.

Yelp
Wow! We're in Pueblo for a softball tournament and this place was suggested by a local. Drinks are amazing, food was great and the service was on point. I forgot to take a picture of my food but had the Birria taco combo and a Michelada. I will be back!

Juan M.

Yelp
This restaurant is not authentic Mexican food. The tacos had no flavor and the agua fresca was just a powdered mix.

Yelp
On a recommendation from a friend, drove from Canon City to have tacos and it was fantastic. The food was so good! It was not overly busy at the time we got there, but activity was buzzing. There was a mariachi group playing for tips and they were not aggressive like some places. Our server, Emily was so sweet and attentive. She was working the entire front on her own and never missed a beat. 5 stars isn't enough for what I would give. If you love churros you can't skip that either.
google avatar

Megghan A.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick dinner. Food was delicious and service was great. Loved the Birria Tacos and Margaritas!
google avatar

Yelp
Their chip and salsa is really good! People who work there are very friendly! Food is gooood!

Yelp
This place came up first in Siri's list of "Tacos in Pueblo" - well done with your SEO! and it did look very busy. We only came for Horchata to go, so I can't write a full review yet, but I intend to try this place next time I am in the south. The Horchata was good but there are other places in town that sell it for 1/2 the price, and I even thought it was better there, however to put things in perspective my daughter thought this Horchata was better. Would be great to offer a more reasonable price, this is not a fancy coffee shop. I am glad to see places like this doing well, when we came in on a Sunday, the place was 3/4 full and the kitchen was buzzing. The food that came out looked very good. The dining area is a little too dark to my taste, I would love it to be brighter.

Asuna Y.

Yelp
Porky taco had exactly 5 pieces for pork in it. Mostly beans and was like a mini burrito instead.
google avatar

Sumana K.

Yelp
This new taco spot is a gem!! There are so many options to satisfy everyone's taco palate. My favorite was the Pinto and the Chicken Tinga Taco but we enjoyed all the tacos we ordered. They have a salsa bar too with ~ 5 different salsa that can be packed to go when you order to-go! There are two areas for seating - one more casual and one more formal ( you have to wait to be seated). Free chips and salsa when eating in. The margs look delicious so I'm definitely coming back to try one of those!

Yelp
Best tacos I've ever had in my life. Staff is so nice. Cute little place. I love it. I highly recommend this authentic Tacos Fuego. Best in Pueblo.

Yelp
Awesome Mexican. Got a great recommendation from our server for tacos. Margaritas were delicious and fresh. Get the relleno bites! And done in the interior room with the bar--more ambience.
google avatar

Randall B.

Yelp
Food was quite good. Prices on the too high end for sure. Unfortunately they forgot to add an item I paid for into my to-go-order, but otherwise a solid spot to visit on occasion. A solid 3 stars for sure. I wish items weren't so pricey or I'd frequent more often. Much more often.. Still, all that aside the spicy part of their menu was quite decent. Even the corn tortilla wasn't bad and I normally don't much like corn tortilla. Maybe these are made in-house? Not sure. Worth a stop!

Rebecca E.

Yelp
We've since been back after some convincing from a friend and the service was so much better. We never had the same server from that original visit either, which I'm not mad about honestly. Still wish that original situation would have been acknowledged with a simple "I'm sorry", that's all it takes, but I'm over it and I'm happy to say our other visits have been great!

Trina F.

Yelp
So so good! The food was delish. The drinks took a while to get even when it wasn't super busy. No 5 starts due to price.
google avatar

Emily T.

Yelp
Birria tacos were fire Definitely recommend adding the Pueblo fries. Guacamole was yummy, chips are warm and seasoned. Mango agua Fresca was the favorite of the 3 we tried!

Yelp
This is our (current) favorite, go-to place in Pueblo. Upon our first visit we were amazed at the change the new owners had made in the little, dive-y place Tacos Fuego replaced. The staff are always friendly, the place is clean and cheerful, if not fancy. The tacos have a nice variety and are reasonably priced. They serve a generous bowl of chips and salsa to start. The tacos are, what we would call, fancy street. Ingredients are tasty and you get plenty. We highly recommend Tacos Fuego to anyone.
google avatar

Joanie M.

Yelp
The Birria tacos are sooo yummy! The service is friendly, and the place is always packed every time I go!

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Great service!! Excellent food!! Staff was very friendly, food is authentic, you won't be disappointed!

Dennis O.

Yelp
After a day of sand boarding/sledding we were looking for a quick lunch and found Tacos Fuego! We had the Birria and Al Pastor (not on the menu but you should ask!), both were amazing! They even have a salsa bar! Service was quick and friendly. Go there, you'll love it!

Yelp
Great little place in Pueblo. If you want tacos, this is the place to go. They offer street tacos( little and delicious) with a few choices of meats. The chips and salsa that is served is very good. There are also fried chicken tacos, pork, beef and a few other options. Hard, soft or fried shells. They come with choices of sides like, beans, rice and have a yummy , gooey cheese sauce. There are nachos and relleno bites which are very good and come with a tasty dipping sauce. They have a self serve salsa bar which has most of their salsa choices and some pickled jalapeños. The drinks are fun and yummy! I had the Colada-Rita ..... and I'd have that again annnnd again! There are traditional margaritas and a good selection of beers. They also have Agua Fresca in many different flavors. Had the watermelon and it was delicious! You have the option to spike it as well.... great idea!! We all had a great time and great food! Will be visiting each time we visit Pueblo. P.S. ...... don't forget the pickle shot to end your meal :-)

Yelp
Everything about tacos fuego is great! The service is very good, everyone is so friendly! Between the shared chips and salsa with an order of guacamole and then my order of two tacos, it was the perfect size dinner! The chicken tinga was some of the best I've ever had and I loved the carnitas and pinto taco as well. I liked the salsa bar and think the green chile/tomatillo one is the best followed by the more smokey and hotter (I think it was ancho?) salsa. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Carleah L.

Yelp
DELICIOUS tacos. I have had the majority of the menu however the Birria tacos are hands down my absolute favorite. Either way, one can not make a wrong choice with the food. Tacos Fuego also have the best salsa bar . I need salsa in my life, and there are numerous different types to choose from. I do miss the way they use to serve the jalapeños at the salsa bar however the salsa itself makes up for it all. The staff has also been helpful and friendly. My husband and I love to go here.
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
Very good food. Pueblo is a tough spot to really get a great meal. Tacos Fuego hits the mark. Definitely one of the best spots in town.

Katherine C.

Yelp
Great tacos Al pastor with pineapple. Everything was good. Street corn a must. Try the guacamole salsa. Also street tacos were amazing as well
google avatar

Mike F.

Yelp
Easily One of my favorite places to eat in Pueblo! Whether its breakfast on the weekends, lunch or dinner this place delivers great food and super service. Everyone I take here just loves it. With a full bar and many specialty drinks, this place gets a 10 out of 10.

Robert Z.

Yelp
Stopped in after meeting owner at another local restaurant. Food all looked wonderful so I ordered a lot of things to go. Was not disappointed everything was fantastic you really can't go wrong on trying a few of their tacos and the gauc is a must.
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
Road trip, easy to find excellent food. Easy access, lots of great choices. Please give it a try.
google avatar

April B.

Yelp
You know what they say, "The more dangerous the neighborhood, the better the tacos." Tacos Fuego fits the bill. Graffiti, neck tattoos and LOADS of DELICIOUS, authentic, Mexican flavor. I haven't found Mexican food this good anywhere in Colorado. We loved it! We will definitely go back. Don't miss the Birria taco and a Churro. Also our waitress was the nicest!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were driving from Austin to Denver and stopped here for dinner. Right away the staff was welcoming and friendly. The guy working the cash register asked if we'd been in before and when we said no, he gave us several recommendations. I had the protein bowl with carnitas which was incredible. The rice and beans were very well done done. The carnitas was tender and flavorful. The avocado slices were the perfect amount of ripeness. My boyfriend ordered a chicken tinga taco and a Waldo's taco. His words, "So good. We'll have to remember this place next time we do this drive to see my sister. Glad we stopped here!" We ordered to-go and the guys behind the counter wished us well on the rest of our trip. Oh, and they have clean bathrooms!
