Yelp
I recently moved to the area, and went to Tacos Jalisco, and the service was by far the worst I've ever had at
a restaurant. I was seated on the patio, by Priscilla who was really unbecoming, rude, and seemed bothered by my arrival at the restaurant. I placed an order for chips and dips, and a margarita. The chips and dip arrived, and then she asked, "you ready to order, or not?" I replied with an order, and then waited. 25-30 minutes later she brings out the food, and failed to even bring the drink I ordered.
I asked her about the drink, and she replied with a pretty heavy attitude, "someone should have told you we are making margaritas, and you have to wait!" The restaurant was very slow at the time of my outing, so I was surprised. So I asked for the food to go, and didn't eat the chips, or salsa.
Priscilla then wrapped up the food, and slammed the check down on the table in an aggressive manner. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said that it wasn't possible. Sorry. So I asked her to write down her name, and the other server who was supposed to inform me about the wait on service.
I called back the next day, and Priscilla answered the phone, and I asked to speak to a manager. She put me on hold for 20+ minutes, and then hung up on me. I went into the restaurant yesterday, and tried to get a resolution, and Priscilla once again comes to the door and says, "I remember you, and your complaint, what do you want?"
I asked for the managers information, and she begrudgingly gave it to me. The manager John called me personally and apologized for the service, and said they weren't offering refunds, as I had no interest in coming back to the restaurant. I said that's fine, I understand businesses are trying to stay alive, but with Priscilla's service; it's going to make it tough. So John said he left a gift card for the price of the order and the food would be replaced at my convenience.
Then to top it off : I walk in today to pick up the gift card, and no one greets me at all. Five minutes later Priscilla walks up with cash in hand, and I expressed I was here for a gift card, and she said, "no here is your money back, and we don't ever want to see you here again!"
I've never received such terrible service, or resolution at a restaurant.
I WOULD STRAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE:
Head down Tennyson and hit up tres Chiles, or to 32nd and go to El Camino. You'll regret this place, and if you do go, make sure to not get Priscilla as your waitress.
