Restaurants Won’t Survive the ‘Reopening’ Without Government Aid | Eater

Shake Shack Returns $10 Million Small Business Loan After Facing Criticism | Eater

"The parent company of this 164-location fast-casual Mexican chain received a $10 million PPP loan, reflecting a broader pattern in which multiunit operators accessed federal relief funds despite concerns that the program was intended to prioritize small, independent restaurants without deep banking ties." - Caleb Pershan

I've driven by this taco truck many times and finally decided to stop for lunch. I'm upset that I did not try their food sooner! Portions were very large, both my wife and myself were unable to finish our meals. I had the nachos with steak and she had a steak burrito. Food was prepared to order, only ten minutes. I do believe they make their own tortilla chips. The nachos were loaded down to the last bite. It was a wonderful meal, great price, and a short wait time. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for quality Mexican dishes. They also serve multiple flavors of Jarritos and multiple meat options for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos.

My fiancée visited here to try the food since it's right next to our place, and we wanted to explore more of the local area. We often pass by on our way home, so she decided to stop and grab something for dinner. I love Mexican food and enjoy the spices, but unfortunately, this place fell flat. The tacos had no flavor or seasoning at all, and even the nachos my fiancée got for me lacked the typical flavor profile you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. The food was very underwhelming and disappointing. The service was friendly, but she mentioned that the main issue was the lack of flavor. Some items also felt overpriced for what they were. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for Mexican cuisine lovers.

Take a look at any dessert you receive from this truck; we ordered two tres leche cakes that both smelled very off and had clear signs of mold (see photo). Nacho chips were stale and used liquid cheese in place of fresh, which was disappointing. Our tacos were a little dry, but the almbras dish was good. Sauces were great! It could have been an off day, but we will look elsewhere for our next taco truck visit.

Sorry, but this is the driest, most unseasoned tacos I EVER had. Not only is $4 a lot for one lackluster taco but no seasoning either? …. I was highly disappointed and won’t ever eat there again. Ur better of driving to Newark for an authentic flavor cause you won’t find it here.. saddest part was the over cooked rice.. overcooked rice just means you shouldn’t be cooking. I’m not really sorry because what a waste of money. YUCK

Wow very impressed with this food truck! The only good/quality food around! Shrimp burrito was amazing!

I've only ever had the tacos, and enjoy them when they are done well. This restaurant suffers from inconsistency in their products. Maybe it is the difference of staff, but you can receive vastly different qualities of food depending on the day you arrive. Likewise, their hours seem pretty random. Tonight is a Saturday, and they are already closed at 7:30. If I arrive within the last hour that they are open, I get sour expressions and curt service. Room to improve, but they are well on the way as far as food trucks go.

Delicious authentic taco truck food! A great lunch stop on a long drive for us. If you like authentic Mexican food, definitely try this place! If you don't like spicy food, order carefully. This place had a permanent food truck setup with two picnic tables. I got the quesabirria, which had amazing tacos with a spicy and very hearty soup/dip. My fiancée got the chorizo burrito with everything, which was so good! We also shared a tasty horchata. The folks running the truck were very friendly and helpful. If you don't like spicy food, you should be aware that the orange sauce (habanero I think?) is extremely spicy. The green sauce is a little spicy but not as much as some others I've tried. Both were delicious.
