Pretty good Mexican food. We grabbed a bite after Knott's on the way home. The food was tasty; my husband loved his pastor tacos, and our son liked his asada quesadilla. The fries were alright, nothing fancy. The nachos were your basic party nachos with some asada. They have a great salsa bar with lots of choices – I especially loved the chipotle sauce. The service was great, everyone was so nice.

We went to Tacos La Calle for a quick dinner and it was sooooo good! The carne asada tacos were so flavorful and the meat was not greasy or fatty! My husband had the California burrito and it was also bomb! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for quick authentic Mexican street food.

Google
Tacos la Calle at most is an overrated overpriced just okay place. The pollo asada burrito has way too many onions. I don’t like restaurants that substitute onions for spice, it would have been better to put jalapeños in your pico de gallo, then to so many onions. However if you like this place and want to continue going here, I leave that up to you. I will personally not be going back. The service: once I gave my order I was ignored until my mediocre burrito was ready. Atmosphere: was okay. Again if you like their food do not stop going there. Overall not what I had expected.

Google
Tacos LA Calle Buena Park Tacos de suadero They could turn up the music a little 💛🎶 🇲🇽 Honestly, not what I was expecting, it looks like a place that is set up very well. Everything looks nice. Plenty of Seating Really bright 😎 Could be cleaner but nothing concerning or that I haven't seen before in a taco shop. (Part of the ambiance) Service was fast & friendly. Food was good, salsas were actually my favorite part. I should have ordered a taco given tacos is in the name. Everyone who ordered them said they hit the spot. All in all, good experience. ¡¡Gracias Tacos LA Calle!!

Google
Review for Tacos La Calle – Buena Park If you’re a taco lover and haven’t been to Tacos La Calle in Buena Park yet, you’re seriously missing out. I recently tried their shrimp taco combo, and these were hands down the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned, bursting with fresh, delicious flavor in every bite. Combined with the tasty toppings and warm tortillas, it was an unforgettable taco experience. The portions were generous, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The service was just as impressive — friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The restaurant itself had a nice, clean, and inviting atmosphere that made the meal even better. If you’re in Buena Park and craving amazing tacos, definitely check out Tacos La Calle. I can’t wait to go back!

Google
The tacos were so good. Especially the pastor because of the pineapple and grilled onions. The best. The burrito would have tasted better if it didn't have raw onion. Should have ordered differently but will do for next time. The food came out quickly and it was well kept. I was pleasantly surprised with all the different salsas that they offer. The drinks are awesome too. It's easy to see from the street as well and plenty parking space

Google
Good tacos!! nice tortilla and meats are flavorful and they don’t skimp on the meats good portion to be enough with 4 tacos, I had a shrimp mulita and it was so good, try the esquite (corn on a cup) place is clean and staff is nice will definitely come back when in the area

Google
I had been eyeballing this place on my commute from and to work and I finally decided to stop by. The tacos de cabeza were really good and the portions are very generous as well! The 2 tacos de asada were also very good but I definitely enjoyed the taco de nopales. They really reminded me of my dad's. I love that they're not stingy with their cilantro. I'll definitely be trying out the pastor, i slept on it this time 😴

Yelp
Best food! Not only the tacos but the mulitas and the esquites. Salsa bar was also amazing. Best creamy chipotle! Thank you to the girl helping us who suggested what we got. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
Not recommended!!! Food was tasteless and al pastor was awful and had smell to it.. nothing made fresh here all from the refrigerator to hot top to heat up and serve type of restaurant. The service was even worse counter lady was rude and little bit racist and very unpleasant to deal with. The price is more higher then others tacos place around buena park area. Stay away find somewhere else!!

Ashley V.

Yelp
I ordered the taco bar and only got enough meat for two tacos. It supposed to be equal to 6 tacos
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
Got a carnitas two taco combo with beans and rice for 12.97 (?!) One of the tacos contained this bone. The amount of food for the price is already outrageous but for this bone to be in the taco ruined everything. Do better! This was like a quarter of the "meat" in the taco. Smh!

JoJo H.

Yelp
The birria tacos were INCREDIBLE!!! Must try. Especially with the guacamole. Service was amazing too. So sweet!!!! The churro dessert was so good too.
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
The nachos here are REALLY good but they put way too much sour cream! We loved how crispy/crunchy the chips were and the portion was so huge, we couldn't finish it in one sitting! Next time we'll add a note to remove sour cream and maybe use half the jalapeños
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
The food was decent for what it was! I wasn't expecting anything really fancy but the portion sizes were good and service was decent. The tacos were a little more affordable ($2.97/taco) and the quesadillas were VERY cheesy. I was a little disappointed that the horchata came from a dispenser and I needed to add salt to the tacos for a little more flavor, but overall not bad. I would come back again.
google avatar

Rosalynn N.

Yelp
The most tasteless food ever! Rice, beans and enchiladas were so bland and had no flavor. Thought we would give this place a try after stumbling upon it on yelp with its mixed reviews. What a wrong decision & waste of $60! My son got the carne asada fries and they were literally meat, cheese and fries and the cheese wasn't even melted it was thrown on top. Wish I would have taken a picture! Never again
google avatar

Yelp
Tacos La Calle sure knows how to serve up a SOLID shrimp burrito. Their spicy sauce is to DIE FOR. The burrito already comes with a good amount of the sauce in it, but we just couldn't stop adding more of it to every bite. *** My mouth is watering all over again as I sit here writing this review *** Their tacos were also GREAT! Would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for some solid mexican food.

Yelp
VERY UNSANITARY PLACE!!!... Also, the service was terrible from the very beginning. When I asked if they could clean the restroom because it was filthy, I was told they couldn't do it because they were too busy. Then when I asked if they could clean a table for us to sit at , they handed me a dirty towel to clean it myself. It was the short chunky girl with glasses that was very rude and dismissive. The salsa bar also looked very disgusting. The food itself was very mid, and not enough to make up for the terrible experience. I'd advise anyone considering this place to go elsewhere for tacos

Cesar N.

Yelp
Everything place smelled awful not a fan of this location food was dry and even the sauce was fermenting
google avatar

Mayra B.

Yelp
Best authentic Mexican food I've tasted was satisfied will definitely come back Friendly staff also!!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Terrible experience.. dirty restaurant, dirty restroom.. food not that good no flavor at all..

Hericka G.

Yelp
The most disgusting tortas I've ever tasted! Save your gut and skip this place. The bread and meat were cold, the bottom bun was soggy and the meat was dry and old. The meat tastes like spoiled dog food. Respectfully, fix your food or burn the place down.

Sally G.

Yelp
Used to be really good. Last couple of times they can't seem to get the order right. Then argue about what YOU ordered. See ya
google avatar

Adrianne T.

Yelp
My first time trying the asada tacos not all THAT TOO BE HONEST tacos taste more like the corn tortillas didnt really taste the asada ..
google avatar

Manuel C.

Yelp
Had five delicious tacos that smack, service was quick , and street themed inside for cool ambiance. The meat just melts in your mouth with every single moist bite. One of the best tacos I've ever experienced, this place is a hidden gem, and never disappoints. I strongly recommend this place. 10/10

Sumitra M.

Yelp
Ordered mushroom burrito it was tasteless. Ordered asada tacos again it has no seasoning very bland

Yelp
First of all, please name a city or town in Mexico, that puts peas in the rice. Look, I don't know if it's a regional thing to where the owners are from; traditionally, in the last three generations of my family. Both sides of my family. All of that being said, the speed of service was great the sauces were good they weren't stale the lime source plenty of, and so was the pico. My boyfriend ordered a Asada burrito that was technically a Rice burrito with a garnish of Asada. I I got two mulitas de asada which appeared to be paying for the rent at the cost they sell them to us. The meat was great. The cheese was amazing. The portion of the meat was fantastic for the size of the tortilla. Bathroom was spotless clean. Everything would be great if only the rice wasn't a disappointment not just because of the peas though. Also, if you have tinnitus, do not go inside the noise or whatever machine is in, there will synchronize with the noise in your head and you will have vertigo.

Yelp
Everything is great about this restaurant except their burritos, it's 80% rice, I had big expectations of this place! Probably will never order another burrito, but other than that, it's good! These restaurants need to have 2 types of burritos, like a fajita style burrito, with vegetables or guacamole and meat and then let the customer know ahead of time that they're about to buy a rice burrito! Maybe have an all meat option!
google avatar

Wendy C.

Yelp
This is my third time at this place, and second time ordering their tostada salad! Being someone who have had tostada salad from at least 3 other different places, I would say this place has the most cost friendly and fresh tostada salad ! I can tell they freshly fry their shell ( unlike many other places) and everything inside from the lettuce to the cactus to the meat are all prep, cut and assembled after I order ( which I feel like in many other places everything is premade). I did have their tacos before which it was good , but a freshly made tostada salad for only $7.95 ( with additional $2.97 for protein).. that's a steal !

Yelp
Just had a lengua burrito and gotta say....it's pretty fire. My sister had a carne asada and al pastor taco.....she said it wasn't anything special. The kids had a chicken quesadilla...they're picky little shits and they liked it. The side accompaniments (radish, carrots, bell pepper, jalapenos) were clearly homemade. Theyre not scared to light some gringo ass on fire with their hot sauce. If we had some shit like this when I was growing up we would've never went to albertacos. I typically don't like burritos with rice and beans....I'm an all meat gonna die soon type of guy....but I didn't mind all the other crap for the first time in my life.
google avatar

Flor P.

Yelp
Suadero had good flavor , rajas was really good , fish needed a little more flavor Tortillas could have been a little more greasy, Tijuana tacos tend to have the grease which make it all come together, next time I will ask to put a little grease on tortillas..
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
I had orders via Doordash and my food came nicely packed and everything was still nice and hot. It all tasted pretty good. The elote had a little bit too much cheese which made it a little salty & I asked for no jalapeños on my carne asada nachos but it still came on there...as well as their pico has some heat to it. Overall it was a nice quick dinner that I wouldn't mind ordering again.
google avatar

Yelp
I know I said I wouldn't be back, but it was my hubby who drag me here . After 6 months away... yup still the same. Food is bland no flavor. Unfortunately the place I wanted to go was already closed.
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
I am absolutely obsessed with this place! Food & service is nothing short of amazing! Great ambiance if you want to eat here or super fast if you need to take it to go. I grew up in the Bay and love Mexican food, moved to Washington 6 years ago & it is lacking big time! When I get down to SoCal (every couple of months or so) I have to get an asada burrito every time I'm here!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was good. The decor in the restaurant was nice, and clean. The service was great. The ladies were really nice and accommodating.

Yelp
If you do not have cash you may not be able to get your food, machine for credit cards not working!

Yelp
Loved the delicious beef taquitos appetizer I purchased last night. They were crispy fresh , the beef was tender, and the toppings of guacamole, cheese, pico de gallo were a lil spicy, fresh and tasty. The crema was so smooth and tasty, not overpowering, so much better than sour cream. And, the salsa bar was the best I've seen and tasted! My picky daughter loved the red salsa with the chicken street tacos. Were just driving by and saw this place and decided to stop by on our way home.

Yelp
For the reviewer who cried about peas in the rice, my dear abuelita has been making Mexican rice with peas ,and carrots for decades and it's deliciouso just like the tacos here. My Mamacita loved the nopas tacos, papa enjoyed the carne asada con the orange salsita(is it chipotle?). But my fav was the al pastor...simply delicious full of flavor and good size portions. This was my first try and I will be back. Ps I knew it was going to be fire when I walked in and saw 4 senioritas working this spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced for what you get. When I think street tacos, I think closer to $2.00 than $3.00. Each taco is $2.97 a pop. Which can quickly add up if your hungry like me. Mulitas are about $4.00 and burritos run just under $10.00. I suppose the area they are in requires higher pricing. Unfortunately my experience is quite different than everyone else. Maybe I came on a off day. But my carne asada was over cooked and very dry. The Mister thought his burrito was just okay. A couple of tacos and a Mulitas later and I was still hungry. I don't like being hungry. They do have a pretty good salsa bar but without the cups. I guess you have to ask for cups. When I asked I was given 4. I asked for more and was given 3. The chipotle sauce and pico de gallo were very good. Located off Beach Blvd near the old Farrells. Plenty of parking and friendly service.

Yelp
Just got the nachos with Al Pastor. It's alright. I ordered it to go. For the price it didn't make me want to go back.

Naomi A.

Yelp
Fire, tacos were FIREEEcustomer service on point. Thank you so much for them tacos. We got chicken, chorizo and shrimp! Recommend them all!

Yelp
Finally checking this place out! Always past the food truck and knew this was close by. Finally made it to the location! Right by the old farrell's ice cream parlor in small Shopping plaza, plenty of parking! Limited Dining is allow, takeout, and delivery are other options as well. Large selection of tacos starting at $2.97, burritos, mulitas, Tortas, quesadilla, sopes, and various sides. Went with lengua (it's tough to find), cabeza, and tripas (she offer to fried it and said it taste better as such). Pal went with pollo and al pastor and a side of rice. They ask if we wanted cilantro and onions on our tacos and we opted for them. 2 corn tortillas Street taco style with our choice but was missing cilantro and onion but came with red and green salsa and lime wedges. Meat was very tender. Fried tripas was crunchy and did not taste heavy nor was it overly greasy. Cabeza and lengua was soft, easy to chew, melt in your mouth. If your looking for alcohol, they do not serve any here. Service was friendly and great to support another local business! Definitely will return!

Yelp
Just a friendly reminder guys, be careful chewing tacos at this place because I was eating my taco there was a strand of metal that scratched my gums and when I asked the lady she said it came from a metal scrubber used when washing dishes. This is what I got ... I used to love to go to this place but now I am worried about eating here.
google avatar

Brennan H.

Yelp
Just updating my review since I got a notification from Uber Eats that I am one of their top 5% of customers. When the owners choose to be greedy rather than continue their business the same way that made them popular (salsa bar), they lose their top customers! Do not go here unless you like paying almost $15 for a medium sized burrito with salsa.. There are way better places that offer bigger burritos for less and they don't make you pay for SALSA!
google avatar

Yosmar J.

Yelp
These joint is an absolute GO for me!! I had the pleasure of having a California Burrito and Wow was I impressed. Very convenient and located in a prime location right by Knotts Berry Farm. Their California Burrito comes with Mexican Pinto beans, red rice, Grilled Carne Asada, guacamole, Salsa, cheese and French fries. The size of the burrito is decently sized; serving for one person. This is my Mexican Food destination next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Peter N.

Yelp
Uber eats the food and it came nice and warm. No salsa was included and the food was extremely dry. We got a burrito , quesadilla, and tacos and it was all dry.
google avatar

Mario C.

Yelp
Worst customer service and sanitation ever. The handles were in the salsa, and we asked for salsa, and as we aker the cashier for salsa, they said "you can get it yourself". This place is completely trash
google avatar

Justine R.

Yelp
Tacos were good, the fries were good and the salsa was the bomb. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the esquite, it really tasted like I was eating so much salt because of how much seasoning they put in.

Joe Y.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner on Saturday and I was so disappointed! I had the best chile rellanos at their Anaheim location, but the one i got here was so old that the cheese in the chile was hard as cardboard! They probably made it in the morning or the day before and just warmed it up :(. I drove a hour to come here, will not come again
google avatar

Colin L.

Yelp
Best quality asada I have had in so cal. Quick service. Food is reliable and always on par.
google avatar

Chong Y.

Yelp
PROS: - Great location and plenty of parking - Food is fantastic. - Carne asada is excellent here. - Great little salsa bar - Free refried beans when dining in. - Friendly staff. CONS: - Limited seating during peak hours. - Prices are slightly high for what it is.

Chianti H.

Yelp
This is good I'm currently eating it right now I meant to get pic before but I was so hungry I love this better than the carne asada burrito I got last time.
google avatar

Vic V.

Yelp
I can't believe I hadn't tried this, while it being so close to my house. I ordered a taco de tripas. I asked for it extra crispy but it wasn't enough in my opinion. That said, the flavor was really good. I also got the carne asada torta. This was delicious, flavorful and huge. The meat was just a little dry but adding salsa totally helped. You'll need a fork by the end because it can get messy. The avocado salsa was delicious and the orange one tasted like chipotle and was also good but not spicy. Service was friendly and fast. I'll definitely come back to see if they're worth the extra star.

Keisha F.

Yelp
The food is good, the bathrooms are filthy. Parents need a place with good food and clean toilets for their kids to sit on.place also has a moldy smell inside.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Service was nice and friendly very kind cashier. Ambiance was good. Food was tasty.Chipotle sauce so good!I got corn and a shrimp mulita good flavor.I saw them working and is so nice to see how they help each other :)
google avatar

C N.

Yelp
The staff are friendly and the food is good but I was disappointed at 1) how dirty it was today: the counter, the floor, just overall in need if a good cleaning throughout the place, 2) there was no ice for the drinks, 3) two of the drinks had 'out of order' signs posted and 3) the radishes are usually fresh but today's had black spots so I was afraid to eat them. You can do better La Calle! We like your shop! It's close by and we have enjoyed your restaurant in the past.
google avatar

Maelynn T.

Yelp
Not the best experience. It wasn't busy or packed when I visited, so I hoped for better quality. Food Carne asada fries: (2/5) it tasted pretty dry, even the fries itself. The carne asada was dry also so I had to drench it in salsa so it wasn't so bad Beef taquitos: (3/5) beef was SUPER dry. The sour cream kind of helped but I've definitely had better Pollo mulita: (3/5) chicken wasn't too bad but the whole mulita tasted like it was made a little while ago and was sitting in the to-go box for some time Biggest disappointment was that I took a bite of the mulita then some cabbage/sour cream from the taquitos and I realized there was something funky in my mouth - there was a long piece of plastic in my food! GROSS.
