Tacos La Guera Review - South Gate - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Head to Walnut Park in South Gate and you’ll find this tiny stand serving excellent brisket tacos. Open 7pm-2am on weekdays, and 7pm-4am on weekends, the fantastic little spot should be filed under late-night taco stands you need to hit immediately." - Brant Cox
They offer delicious tacos of different stews; with a delicious homemade flavor prepared with handmade tortillas without limit, adding the food-truck has free Wi-FI n to finish the customer service-attention is excellent, 100 % recommended! Enjoy

Yelp
This small truck set up on a corner of 59th Pl and Broadway (south LA right off the 110 Slauson exit) has some seriously delicious and comforting Mexican food. You get helped by two of the kindest ladies or at least the night I went. The vibe here is like having a family dinner. You seriously pull up to a table and order food and you watch them cook or prepare.
So I'm not gonna lie. I probably would not have found this place if it wasn't for LA Times 101 taco list. Per their rec I got the costilla or short rib tacos. The flavors were deep and almost stew-ish. The corn tortillas were soft and fluffy as they were freshly pressed and cooked right there. They offered to put some beans and I immediately took them up on that. My rookie mistake - behind the table. There was actually a counter where you could lift the metal lid where there were toppings and salsas. I didn't notice that you could do that until halfway through my meal when another patron did that. I was fine though because they had some salsa on the table that was made fresh right in front of you using a pestle and mortar.
I seriously felt like I was sitting down at a friend's kitchen and just enjoying the whole experience. As I was getting up and leaving the person next to me got a steak taco and it looked absolutely fabulous. In my head, I thought maybe next time.
I will say though on a weeknight, the area is crazy in terms of parking. I actually had to park in the red and I don't recommend that at all just in case, but I had to do what I had to do lol.

Yelp
These are some seriously good tacos. Hand made tortillas always add that extra touch. The meats were all soft, and juicy. Will definetely be back.

Yelp
Nothing but fresh homemade food. All tacos are made with fresh hand made tortillas made before your eyes. Tacos de asada, pollo, tripa, cueritos, cochinita pibil, costillas de puerco, chorizo con papa, buche, cabeza and lengue. To drink you can get Mexican coke, sodas and te de canela. You can't beat great food and a great personality. I love coming here with the family
