I legit ordered the most simplest order Chorizo Nachos , “Just the cheese and the chorizo” No cheese whatsoever and like a scoop of chorizo I payed for a “large” not a kids size … This location needs to learn how to put more chorizo smh .

She was handling food and touching money at the same time. Whoever is working there Sunday, August 18 at 10:30 AM she was all by herself and very rude to help I would not recommend this location at all go to the one on wible unless you want to catch an attitude and horrible food they never make it right stay away you've been warned. I just mentioned to her that she needed help because I was in the pick up area and there was no one to help me while there was a line. She got mad at me and said I have to have patience. You guys need more employees you're doing a two-man job and you're stupid enough to not realize it Stay away from this place . Save your money. Very dirty in the dining room as well.

I enjoy the tacos here, so delish when they get the order right lol. Love that they still give the jalapeno for free other ppl charge🙄 cashiers are always kind. Quick on their orders. My fav location &its close by.

I went here this morning for a quick breakfast before heading back to Tehachapi. I had the Huevos Rancheros...wow! Excellent flavor and GREAT presentation! This was my first visit and it's sure to be again! Deliciousness overload!

We ordered a tortas, shrimp tacos and asada sope. The shrimp tacos were okay they didn’t have flavor and the lettuce was very dry. It seemed like the lettuce was from a bag. The torta did not have a lot of flavor. The bread was cold and the meat was too dry. The sope was the only good thing, it had good flavor. But the lettuce was the only problem in the sope. I don’t know if I would be going back. I’ve tried different Mexican restaurants and this is one that needs work. Thank you for a good customer service!

Very big portions of food for the price. Clean, quiet, recieved our food very timely. $53 for 3 items and 3 drinks but big portions. Didn't have to wait long to receive our food. The restaurant was clean and not busy. We dined in.

I used to love this place. I Paid more than 32 dollars for 6 tacos well actually 5 as u can see in the picture no meat on one of them and the fish tacos have the fish patty the size of 2 fingers 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Im sorry but the lengua burtito is not worth 16 bucks, hardly any lengua in the burrito and tacos are cold...tortillas taste microwaved...why? You guys usee to be good..im willing to pay that $$ but for a good burrito..not this

They have quiet a variety of food choices. The service was good staff courteous. very spacious clean.

Due to a really great experience at another location, I came here when I was in the area. Dining it was quite nasty. Shoe prints on the table was disgusting.

I went in for a take out and thought I would have a better experience than the last time I visited the villa at their union location. I thought this since this location is busier, but my California asada burrito was nothing to write home about. Food was not that filling for the price and it just didn't give me the satisfaction I was hoping and expecting from such a busy place. It was somewhat of a huge disappointment. People in there were nice and cheerful, and that's about all I can say about it here.

Used be a pretty legit taco spot about 20 years ago! Time has not been kind to us! I think corporate greed snuck in here as they have at least 10 locations now! Small portions and high prices, stingy with the salsa, always a pet peeve of mine! They lost that hole in the wall vibe that made them! Way too many taco spots in Bakersfield to waste a meal here! It won't be the worst food but in a taco town like Bakersfield best to try another spot!

Are you in Bakersfield for some reason? Not sure why anyone would be here aside from work or passing through. Whatever reason you're here, Tacos La Villa Mexican Grill is a solid spot to grab some quick Mexican food. I'm a big carne asada fries guy so this is what I ordered. It was uber delicious and definitely recommend this spot if that's what you're craving.

I had a torta, it was very good. service was great, the workers are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back .

I was craving a carne asada burrito sent my wife and was soooo disappointed mind you the food was tasty but I would have enjoyed a carne asada burrito not a ariso burrito I received a packed rice and bean burrito litterly had two maybe three dime size pieces of carne to every bite I was looking to get full and not be hungry in fifteen mins I hope others don't share the same experience tasty but stingy with the main course

My dinner experience today was great! Tacos de lengua were bomb! Tortillas didn't rip, and the lengua and salsa were delicious. Props to the cook on duty around 6 pm. Cute take out bag as well, I will be reusing it :)

I have a love and hate relationship with this place. I originally gave this place a 3 star review because of how long this place takes, but after going to other Mexican restaurants I decided to re-review this place. I have been here several times because the food is always delicious. Food is never an issue here, what makes this place a challenging place to visit is the wait time. I'm always on the go so time is super important to me. After visiting other places that were very quick and the food was mediocre, I decided... I'll go ahead and deal with the wait time here at Tacos La Villa. Mexican food is not hard to find in Bakersfield and there's so many places to go, but when you find a good Mexican restaurant then you want to always go back. We usually come to this one if we don't plan to dine in. If we are just grabbing food and taking it home, then we usually go to this one since it's the closest one to us. Everything I have tried from here has been good and my boys have no complaints. Even the salsas are good, but the red one is super hot. Now, just like any good restaurant... parking is crazy. Every time I have visited it's always packed. The staff has always been friendly and even though they take long with orders, I'll just go sit down and appreciate their good food because there could be places that are quick and doesn't taste good.

My absolute favorite! I always do pick up orders and that has been amazing! My go too is their carne asada Burrito.

Their carnitas tacos are so bomb and the horchata isn't too sweet, just right! Definitely recommend.

Very friendly service!!! Plus the shrimp tacos and chicken tacos were so delicious! Very clean establishment and the food was ready fast! Love the avocado sauce! Forgot to take a pic. They don't have a drive thru but it's ok. I don't mind getting out of my car for some delicious food!

Nice friendly young lady took my order. Sope was delicious. Lemonada was yummy. And their wet burritos are huge and full of meat!! Soooo good. Enjoyed my visit. Would visit again when in the area.

Tostada Tostada Tostada. That's all I get when I come because it's so good and i can't bring myself to eat anything else lol. Definitely recommended. Taste is excellent, tastes like home, not a restaurant. And that's what I love

Ordered a burrito with sour cream and cheese. Just opened it no more than 15 mins after and it's cold. Like it was pre made or something. Not happy with paying $12+ for a poor quality burrito. And I mean like cold not even warm. I'm seeing a trend here while visiting Bakersfield; the local food isnt noteworthy in the slightest. At least the service was forgivable.

First time ordering their breakfast burrito and definitely will be my last. Ordered the Loaded Burrito and there was no potatoes. Breakfast burrito wasn't as good and this place is over priced. The Loaded burrito was $8.99, thinking the burrito was going to be huge. Nope, it was an average size burrito. As far as taste, burrito wasn't as delightful. When I asked to have the burrito cut in half, the cashier seemed to have a problem with it. Service wasn't good.

Went there yesterday order takeout. The quality of the food was terrible. Dry and tasteless. A few years ago I really liked this place and it was really convenient but after getting service with a bad attitude and bland food, I don't think I will ever go back.

I ordered carne asada tacos based on the photo of THREE tacos as shown on the Uber menu. When you order from Uber Eats (where the photo is shown), you will only get ONE small taco. It is a fabulous taco. But, still disappointing when you order something based on a photo and that is not what you get. Tacos La Villa provided me with a free lunch of three tacos and a gift card as a result of my complaint. Hats off to them for being responsive - but that photo still needs to be changed. I have upgraded my review from a one-star rating to a three based on their kind gesture and delicious food.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. they messed up our order completely per usual i have never had a good experience here it's stupid expensive and can't even get a damn order right such a horrible experience literally would rather go anywhere else but here.

Ordered a handful of tacos and a quesadilla with rice and beans. Missing one taco and the rice and beans when we got home. Cool. Annoying but no biggy. What we did get was good food (hence the one star, should be zero, keep reading...), but the most disturbing part of the meal was reminiscing on the memory of right before we left the restaurant...the cook dropping a tin of chicken on the ground, picking it up, and immediately putting it ON THE GRILL WHERE OTHER CUSTOMERS' FOOD WAS COOKING...he also made zero effort to clean up what he spilled. Disgusting. What's really funny and messed up is right before leaving to go here, we read a similar Yelp review for Tacos El Toro, which made us decide to go to Tacos La Villa instead because...well, because we did NOT want to see what we just saw. But unfortunately despite our best efforts, we still had to witness that. Weeeeeeeeee won't be back :)

The last couple of times I've come to this La Villa, it was complete shit. I got the asada tacos both times, and both times I got asada meat that I can only imagine being really old. It made the tacos seem like they put chips, or something crunchy in them. Turns out, just old stale meat they don't feel like throwing away to keep customers satisfied. I shouldn't have to write a review about how you should throw away your old shitty meat instead of trying to scrape every dollar out of your horribly old food, but here I am. What a time to be alive.

Use to be straight garbage never had flavor, customer service use to be terrible but it seems like since they got more crew it has definitely gotten way better. Past few times I've been in they have always gotten my food right and it's hot and fresh and the girls up front are always so nice. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because tbh it's the wait time only because of how busy they stay now

Good food!!! I've had their chicken tamales and I love them. I've had their Faldo de res and it's also great flavor. Decent amount of meat. Only complaint is wish it came w more veggies. My bowl seemed like it was all broth and meat w light veggies. Hot sauce is delicious also. Oh and can't forget about the tortillas!! Homemade and delicious. Also tried the lemonade and loved it. Def coming back!! Thank you.

We are regulars here. The food here is good. I love happy hour. After getting shut down for improper food storage their chicken has tasted better than ever & their asada fries are loaded and soo good! BUT the service is SOOO slow, today we called in our order at 7:58pm didnt get our food till 8:41pm. It never fails, there is NO point of calling it in. The man who normally works upfront is cool. Very nice but gets overwhelmed when things get busy. We will keep going cause the food is good but I hope they can fix the service.

Ordered on door dash and I ordered what I thought was 3 carne asada tacos for $3.38. Turns out you only get 1 small taco for $3.38. Tried calling multiple times and it just rings. Yeah I won't be ordering from Tacos La Villa again. Not a happy customer!!!

.99 cent tacos every Wednesday! You can't beat the price for the amount of meat they put on their tacos. Overall the tacos are good. The salsa is yummy and so are the condiments. I've never really had anything else on their menu besides tacos. Even at full price the generous portions of meat makes them worth every penny. Wednesdays is the best day of the week to visit, you won't be disappointed.

This place is absolute money! Love the tacos love the bowls and love everything about it. I usually get the al pastor tacos and they perfectly seasoned. The wait time is good since it comes out fresh, and even when it's crowded they do a good job of getting the food out quickly. Great place really enjoyed it slot and always keep coming back.

To start my bad experience i was greeted with horrible service from Isabel. I get a burrito to go but decided it to eat some of it before hitting the road and was amazed that my food was NOT fresh and it was just handed to me. Secondly the service i was presented by isabel was still rude,but was followed by what presented to me as "fake apologies". I was referred to this restaurant and will not be returning simply because of the customer service. The picture is my second burrito that they made for me fresh. Honestly it was pretty good, but barely had any meat lol. I. Can't. Win. !!!

Best carne asada fries hands down! I love coming here for their asada fries. I've been to other places and La Villas has to be my favorite. They have taco Tuesday deals which is always good but I'm not a big fan of the tacos. If I'm not eating the asada fries it'll most likely be the California burrito. The only downside is the wait time. It takes a while to get your food but if you have time then there's no problem. They make the food from order so you'll always have fresh food.

My daughter ordered a breakfast burrito here and ended up with diarrhea and vomiting. In addition, it took them an exceptionally long time to make it. Very poor food and service.

It's my birthday and we went to tacos la villa on ming for my dinner. After picking up the dinner we ran a quick errand and got home across town. We sat down to eat and half the order was wrong. I mean we ordered 10 tacos and 2 burritos come on. I called and asked for a refund for the wrong items and the manager was exceptionally rude. Yesenia P. was on the receipt. I explained i live across town and i asked to refund my card and she said i have 24 hours to get the correct burritos. Like I'd rather go to the McDonald's around the corner of my house for my BIRTHDAY DINNER then go back to that rude manager. Welp happy birthday to me and thanks for nothing Yesenia.

The customer service was horrible as well as the freshness of the food. This new location on Wible by the Furniture City is not recommended with the current staff. I was really looking forward to eating at this location but moving forward I will not recommend this restaurant . You can count on them to NOT make things right when they screw up. Poor service poor staff.
