Tacos La Villa

Gotta b careful when you taking a order!! Ordered one chicken Chittos burrito and 2 small tacos!! And she gave me a burrito and 2 drinks! Really?? I was in rush so I left the drinks and paid $21 (20dollars some change) for the burrito!! She didn’t even said sorry nothing, took your order wrong anything and I just left! And this what burrito looks on pic!! Just Took one bite and it’s all over!! Stops here few times before, never had happened anything! And girl I saw behind the counter looks new!! Just waste got damn my 21 dollars

Food was amazing and staff was great. First time eating here and won’t be my last! I got the hot Cheeto burrito and it did not disappoint!

The food here is so good I went three days in a row for lunch. This place is always clean, fast, and the folks are quite friendly. Cool video game area with an arcade cabinet that I enjoyed.

Food is great , I usually come here for tacos and I’m a regular customer atleast 1-2 a week but lately they bearly put any meat in my tacos , I had told them and they got upset saying that they put the right amount of meat but I don’t agreee , they said next time i complain for more meat they are gonna have to charge me extra . Really upsetting when you spend $13 for 3 tacos pura tortilla basically and a agua Fresca

Usually this place was pretty good in the past but as of late the foods quality has gone way down. The meat I got in my asada burrito was way too salty and it looks like they used old meat. Not everyone who comes in is drunk on a late night, come on. Very disappointing.

Hands down every single time I go into this store, they are rude. They either ignore me for 4 or 5 minutes and I just stand at the front. Or they call me at pendejo when I walk in and act like I don't know what that means. And then when I'm speaking to any of them after they even address me, they're just flat out rude. Thank God I don't eat there cuz I wouldn't trust them to cook my food given how they treat their customers. And the store lobbies always dirty too. It just makes me wonder why do people even buy food here.

This used to be my favorite La Villa to go to because their food was always so good and on point but lately they have majorly declined! The last time I went the food handlers had no gloves on and one of the employees was clearly sick coughing and sneezing and wiping her nose with her hands then grabbing our food. I shouldn't have eaten it after seeing that but I was so hungry my fiancé ended up getting Covid a few days later. We decided to go back in hopes that was one bad night and maybe our usuals were there this time... nope different people but whatever we proceed to order food. It's 5:00 am we both had just got off a noc shift and picked up our puppy from the dog sitters and brought him in and the lady taking our order was full of compliments "he's so cute" etc.... She then hands us our food and says oh my boss says next time don't bring your pets in to our establishment. We apologized and said that we understood and next time they could have asked us nicely to go outside with him or explained the no pet policy. We get home and our fries were legit cold, soggy, and terrible the worst we've ever had. We called the store and asked what was up... the cook said he did it on purpose because we brought our puppy in mind you he's tiny and we were holding him.... And said if we don't bring our dog back in he will make our food the right way. I'm sorry but that's rude and unprofessional! This place is trash! Will never ever eat here again . Should have stopped after the first flag. Oh and forgot to mention all the roaches in the ladies restroom! Tons and tons! Makes me think they ar win the kitchen as well!!

The place has gone through a remodel, but it never lost the taste or the classic look it had from the 90's, still has the jukebox with music in the background while you wait for your food.

I had a great breakfast burrito here on May 8th 2025. Nice looking and clean, inside and out. The lady running the cash register was very friendly and professional. Her smile was very welcoming.

You charge 2.50 for tacos that have barely any meat in it and they have grey meat. This place is always open but they skimp on portions.

You guys are so shitty. How when I order delivery for many items you don't put a single hot sauce or lemon in the bag.

Cashier was very rude when being asked for a medium drink we were told don't you come here often you should know we only have small & large.Than we get the menudo home & it's orange instead of red and there's a lot of hairs in it,which I've never seen it like this before...

The food here is great and so are the girls at the register always happy always greeting me no matter what time of day or if it's even later at night they're always happy to see me and the food is always great. Excellent service tucked away place.

I requested no jalapeno and my tacos had it. Husband said shrimp burrito was delicious. Girl working had poor English, which was difficult to communicate with. Not coming back.

Claudia was amazing ! Her guest service skills are just amazing very helpful and accommodating when taking our order. She even helped us with bringing our food to our table. 5stars for Claudia !

I don't understand all these negative reviews. My first time going to this restaurant was today and I had lunch consisting of three tacos and all of them were delicious and cooked perfectly. The girl behind the counter was super friendly and wonderful in every way. Sorry for the others who had a bad experience, but maybe give them another try? I love this la Villa. I belive them to be one of the most authentic mexican places in town. They are run by spanish speakers so dont get frustrated with them when ordering. Food is cooked pretty fast and food is cooked to order. I love to get tripas and asada tacos. Tripas are cooked pretty well done( i myself would like them crunchier but thats just being pickey cuz they are still bomb the way they are made). Prices per taco run about $1.50 They also sell beer there so sit down enjoy some tacos and have a beer while u eat

I used to come here around 2am after my shift at Grimmway. Came like 3 times thinking maybe it was just the cook but no the food here is nasty. The meat always looks gray. If you don't believe me look at it next time you go there. Never gone back again!!! None of the locations are good.

Myself and wife. Thought our tacos were quite good . I had two pastor and two tongue. My wife. Had three tacos. Tripis. We both enjoyed our food. I will definitely be back. Don't know why they had a lower rating.

Menudo was bad & birria was bad. Other food we got was okayyy. BUT they served us undercooked chorizo tacos. Thankfully I realized the meat didn't look fully cooked and I tried it before giving it to my kid. I let them know it was undercooked and decided to leave at that point. Spent nearly $70 on bland food. This place was not worth it. You can find better Mexican food elsewhere.

Do Mexican restaurants think white people are stupid? Do they think we don't know our Mexican food? Well, this place thinks so! I have been here several times and more often than not my order is not what I got. For instance... last night we wanted chili verde, since this place is within walking distance, we went there.. ordered 2 combo plates with chili verde, rice and beans.. we get home and neither had the right order, instead they gave up pork carinetas. WTF! They only reason we continued to go there was because there food was good and good price but after last night I'll never go there again. It's very disappointing that they constantly give us the wrong food thinking we won't know the difference just because we're white.

DONT COME HERE YOULL GET SICK!! This place is disappointing! I came to get a chicken burrito and the chicken tasted gross. It was really salty like if it was left there for hours and was probably reheated. The food gave me food poisoning.

It don't even deserve a star but somehow it lets me so I just wanted to say that their not sanitary and they use their hands for everything and especially the cooks and they give attitude do not recommend 0/10 stars hospitality bad customer service rude like a m* so I repeat do not come here

This has to be the worst la villa there is! The overnight cooks shouldn't be there if they don't want to be. The meat is dry with no flavor and the beans are dried up & plain.

ordered over the phone waited 15 minutes for them to tell me they did not get my order said i called the wrong location so i dialed the number in front of them and they said well we dont have your order and was rude as hell i will never come back you need to get these workers at the front desk in check!

This place is my FAVORITE!! On the top of my list when I'm in town I love the food delicious as usual!!! Amazing workers - thank you for your service- I love the atmosphere... Definitely the best Mexican food I had in town for the best price....

We come here because it's close but I think we rather start going somewhere further because this location ALWAYS gets the order wrong.the cashier & cook have some sort of beef between them.when the cashier answers the phone she is rude .how do you forget to put hot Cheetos on hot Cheeto fries !? We also call by phone to order ahead and when we get there it's still not ready !! Horrible service

Me and my cousin came to order food and paid with a debit card and the cashier said our card declined which is stupid because it had money on there! They said our register does that all the time which is also ridiculous! So that means every time somebody pays with a card it won't work! And it showed on our statement that we got charged twice and they told us if we get charged come back tomorrow! So unprofessional!!! We had to go to an ATM to get money out! The food is the only reason we came back because their food is some what exceptional

Good food, but rude customer service. The cook is way to slow. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes and ended up being there for 40.

I've been to other La Villa's and food and service was good but this one is a disappointment food was cold and pure fat instead of meat and the cashier is rude no customer service skills at all don't waste your money drive a little further down to Los Reyes instead food is always good and the worker's there are always nice

1 Star is in fact TOO much of a rating, 0 starts would be more like it. I came to this La Villa today January 2nd, 2018 because it was the only place open around 2 am. We walk in and there's about 8 people there. Not so crowded. We begin to order 1 horchata, and 10 tacos in total. We ask for the meat on the asada tacos to be chopped a little more because they tend to serve extremely huge chunks most of the time, my husband also asked for his tacos de trips to be well done (crispy) which I believe is understandable right ? Who would like to eat chewy tripe ??? As we pay for our food she then states "the cook isn't going to be able to chop your meat up because there's too many orders to focus on that". I let it slide since I was starving, keep in mind she hadn't even provided me with the horchata that I had ordered. So my husband and I go sit, again empty handed without our water. She then looks over the counter and YELLS at me "yeaaaah you know what he's not going to cook the meat well done either, tooo many orders". I then ask for my money back, I am a firm believer that everyone pays for what they get. I simply asked for a few extra chops and what ? Maybe 45 seconds to a min more on the grill for my husbands tripe ? Again there was 10 people there, including ourselves. They obviously don't care about their customers.

I always come here because I enjoy the bean and chesse burritos. For the most part the speed of service is always timely even when it is super busy on the weekends when everyone is going there after the club. Today however I was so disappointed I waited from 12:26am until 1:03am

Ordered a sope, and 2 tacos. All had tripas. Requested for my tripas to be crunchy but the meat was chewy instead.

4 starts because this la villa makes the Carne Asada the best, would've been 5 but I've had rude customer service! With a lady telling me she couldn't take my order because she only spoke Spanish, when I asked for someone else she said no and hun up!

Authentic Mexican food. I was raised eating Nana's food and nothing can compare to that but my next choice to that is Tacos LA Villa.....I eat here at least 3 times a week, delicious and affordable. Carnitas burritos are the best I've tasted in a long time.
