Tacos Los Primos

First time eating here and I loved my taco dinner. The steak meat was delicious and not greasy like most restaurants and the rice and beans were very good as well. When I picked up my food they also recommended the tamales and they were very nice to me. My next visit will probably be Taco Tuesday or maybe ordering a burrito. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice and peaceful place to eat.

I had such a great experience at Tacos Los Primos! Their tacos were absolutely delicious — some of the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the meat was excellent, full of flavor, and the tortilla chips were so fresh and tasty. Honestly, with food this good, I think this place deserves to be packed every day. The service was also wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and attentive — she wore glasses (I think her name started with a V, but I didn’t catch it), and she really made the experience even nicer. Overall, everything was excellent: the food, the atmosphere, and the service. If you’re looking for amazing tacos, this is the spot. Highly recommend! 🌮✨

Was hungry for lunch, not from the neighborhood and didn’t want typical fast food and drove by this restaurant. Loved that it had a small parking lot where I could park for free. Upon walking in, Mexican music played and I could order to-go at the counter but opted to sit down and was waited on. I got the carne asada burrito dinner along with a Mexican Coke and everything hit the spot. I will definitely come back!

Been here on two occasions and it was a good experience both times. The adobada and asada tacos were really good. Definitely tasted the limón in the asada. 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a medium drink for 18 & some change. The other time I had ordered a Mexicali burrito and all i remember is that it was good ✌🏽

We ordered, tacos, chorizo, asada and pastor. Gordita de al pastor. Two horchatas and a Jamaica. Everything was so delicious, the best al pastor tacos in awhile!!! And the horchata was more than just right, it was perfect. And my friend lined her Jamaica.

Best carne asada in the area - BIG TRUST! If you’re looking for a good steak taco/torta/burrito/fill in the blank, get down to Tacos Los Primos! This is my and my gf’s go-to taqueria. Love all their steak items, especially the burrito! Salsas are delicious (the red is my fave), and their horchata and jamaica are also delicious. If you’re looking for good carne asada, look no further!

My boyfriend and I had such a great time here. Good food and great service. I'm vegan and they had options that were very easy to order. Our server was incredible and even ran out after us to make sure I didn't forget my hat which I left at the table. Overall a very good dine-in experience.

NEVER ordering from here again! I ordered 3 tamales and 1 of the tamales was still raw and uncooked! It fell apart as I unwrapped it. I also ordered their steak and eggs and I asked for SCRAMBLED eggs and you could tell the cook just left the eggs in the pan and never scrambled them. I just got a big round piece of dark burnt egg. Simply LAZY! We barely touched any of the food from how bad it was. A waste of $40 to this place, don't waste your money here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We came up from Florida and ran into this joint while driving by and hungry. Everything we ordered was delicious from the aguas frescas we ordered to the every dish that we got. The gorditas and huaraches were big in size so they don't cheap out on the portions. And the caldo de camarón had some of the biggest shrimp I've ever seen a restaurant serve. The price for the food is fair and well worth it. Completely recommend this joint to everyone.

Service was AWFUL. Food was worse. we were not attended until 10 minutes later after arriving. Food was cold and they didn't even bother taking the old hard dry rice parts out of the rice before serving it. The serving of meat was terrible. The meat tasted old. So did the rice. We were not given utensil until I got up and asked for them. My drink wasn't given to me right away after she put the order in. Didn't tip the waitress & she still had the nerve to laugh. what a terrible place.

Hands-down the best shrimp tacos I've had. The shrimps are large, juicy, and well-marinated. They are topped with a large avocado slice and delicious chipotle coleslaw. I'd recommend coming here and ordering the shrimp taco. Their complementary tortilla chips are some of the best I've had- toasty and crispy. I've also tried their Al pastor and fish tacos which are pretty good! Friendly staff, super down-to-earth ambiance, yummy food, and low prices!

Well, that was short lived. Last 2 orders were not so great. A different cut of meat is now being used. They seriously had the best tacos and nachos. Now, they are ok at best. What a shame.

Both the shrimp and lengua tacos were very good. The server was polite and the service was quick. Will return if in neighborhood.

Was in the mood for a little Mexican food so I decided to stop by this place for a taco or two after a little league game. Then I saw chili rellenos on the menu so had to try. I'll get tacos next time. Chili rellenos were my favorite growing up so always look to give them a try. Definitely had a familiar taste. Not quite like momma's but really close. Came with a standard side of rice and beans as you would expect with a dinner plate. Nice sized portions of each. The boy had a quesadilla also with a side of rice and beens. Too much for either of us to finish. Best part was the hand made tortillas. Wasn't expecting that. Not sure if their normal tacos are hand made. Nice touch! The salsa's were pretty nice too. Fair warning the red one is spicy! The place was clean and bright. Latin music playing on the radio. Service was prompt and attentive! Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood! Tacos for sure next time!

Finally opened! I've been waiting for this new taco place to open across from the West Ridge Nature Preserve and it smells great when you pass by. The staff when I went were really nice and patient while I decided what I wanted to try. I got my tacos to go and they were still warm when I got home. They gave me 2 types of sauces, a red and a green. Usually I love the green sauce but the red was spice and tasty. I'll have to try the food while eating there so it's freshly out of the kitchen. The steak taco was pretty good. They do have taco Tuesday specials!

as someone from san diego, i am usually really picky with good mexican food, however this food was absolutely incredible and delicious! the service was lovely and kind too and the food was phenomenal! highly recommend!

6.21.2024 - Delicious, uniquely spiced enchiladas and tacos and freshly made-to-order guacalome with likely house-made, crispy tortilla chips accompanied by fine variations of the usual dipping sauces. - Bottled Mexican Coke! - Friendly, informative staff. - Just fine eating environment. We absolutely will return.

Service was fast and polite. Had tacos and burrito to go. Decent meat. Nice to see quality, authentic tacos this North. I'd def come back to try the birra.

Came in asked about order, said almost ready. Order sitting for 20 minutes lady forgot to call for food.

Food was good parking was a pain In the as it's also off a heavy traffic street. Sitting area is limited.

Quesabirria taco house special was delicious! Friendly service and chips and salsa are brought out when you dine in.

Newly opened taco spot! I was so excited for this. It was a party on their grand opening day. It was packed and super busy, but the servers were really patient and welcoming. We ordered half of the menu. The tacos were delicious! The meat was tender. My favorite was the chile relleno and birria taco. It was made to perfection, the cheese the meat and the sauce were heaven in my mouth. The CHICHARON sopas was so tasty and crunchy. I was really impressed. I drank the horchata so fast! Highly recommend and I can't wait to come back

I had the carne asada burrito dinner. The burrito was great! The steak was good quality and all the ingredients were portioned perfectly. The rice and beans were fresh and tasted great along with their spicy salsa.

My brother and I stopped by for lunch today. It was extremely delicious!!! I got the taco dinner with chorizo and they were amazing. The rice and beans....fire. My brother got a carne asada burrito and he said it was the best burrito he's ever had. I also had to get some horchata and that was so delicious too. Would recommend!!!

We went in for a quick bite after a walk across the street. Fell in love with the homemade tamales, the tacos and the friendly service. Excited to explore more of the menu soon!

First time ordering here and it was a buy one get on free on taco dinners. Very happy with the meal itself. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is due to the green and red salsas included. The green salsa is almost good, just needs to be a bit spicier. The red salsa is very smoky and lacking flavor. Overall very nice place and will be ordering again

The burritos are outstanding, and everyone is super nice. This is a new go to spot. Highly recommend.

Good cooking here makes this recently opened tacos spot worth the visit. Finally a taco always served with two tortillas and all of the extras. All at prices from $3.99 to $4.58 with a small upcharge for the 3 taco meal (you can't beat this $13.99 meal price). Try the Chile Relleno (stuffed Poblano pepper) taco - the best! They have parking and a pleasant outdoor seating area. When visiting take a walk across the street to the West Ridge Nature Center for a great walk on well maintained trails with woods and fowl and massive natural pond. Service is friendly and fast. 5 stars from us.

Incredible food and service. Best taco place. The customer service was excellent. They make you feel at home!
