Yelp
A run-down looking food truck behind the Chevron station at the NW corner of I-35 and E. Rundberg, the food delivered turned out much better than the look of the truck. The al pastor tacos with plenty of cilantro and onion were marinated nicely and diced small. It is not as tender as their neighbor's tacos at the no-name light blue truck on E. Rundberg (but still a good bite), but this truck serves a great big serving of meat that is guaranteed to fill you up. $2.00 on corn, or $2.50 on flour. Breakfast tacos are only $1.50 for 2 items before 11am, and $2.00 afterwards. The Bistek was tender, not spicy, but unfortunately the cheee served with it was without flavor, Mexican Asadero style. The corn tortillas were thick and hearty, and the flour were made from the same brand that I use, raw Guerro's brand, flipped until hot and cooked on the griddle.
This truck also offers gorditas, sopas and tortas of all sorts. The order-taker/cook is supremely friendly and helpful through Spanish/English translations.
Hint: you can ask to add avocado or cheese for free!
