The Best Tacos in Mexico City Can Be Found at These 19 Taquerías | Eater

"The legend of Tacos Ruben’s is well known across Mexico City. A family-run taquería, this tiny street-side taco cart lures customers from all corners of the city for a taste of the famous taco especial, a combination of suadero, longaniza, and tripe. The tacos are generous, served on standard-sized tortillas (not the shrunken tortilla taquera that’s usually seen in taquerías). The service is extra friendly, though you might want to visit early because the tacos run out fast." - Natalia de la Rosa

Friendly staff, $20MX per taco. They will give you cebollitas for free if you greet them with a smile.

Stumbled across them. Best tacos I’ve had in CDMX. The owners were so friendly.

Good tacos in general. Suadero, their specialty was good, a little too greasy and with a 70/30 ratio of meet and fat, a thing that was not so great for us personally. Salsas where good enough. Tripe was ok, the same as chorizo. Couldn’t try the steamed beef head tacos, they looked good though. Consider that it has no seats, is a street stall, and wait could get long. You should visit it for the hype, and If you are in the area.

Very good tacos, very friendly people, I recommend the tacos de lengua cachete and suadero. Prices are fair and they’re very generous with their portions. The staff is super friendly too.

Great tacos - very tasty and authentic. Several different cuts of meats available. Clean and had no hygiene issues.

Lengua tacos are juicy and flavorful. Always consistent with quality and service. They also take credit cards. My go to in Escandon!

Went there because i saw them in the taco chronicles series and, well, was kinda disappointed to be honest. They are just OK. And the price was just right. They just weren't as tasty as i expected.
