"Having moved from Bucktown to Fulton Market while keeping the same ethos of honest cooking with great ingredients, this Mexican street-food spot is known for sought-after tacos and specials; the octopus roasted on a trompo is one of the restaurant’s most popular dishes. The owners — who also operate Obelix and Le Bouchon — show a small French influence in technique, and Michelin flagged the specials: “Ever had a blood sausage taco with salsa macha? Excellent Chilaquiles with reasonably quick service for a Sunday morning breakfast. The seating is limited so it's best to plan to take these to go. They had an option of 3 or 4 salsas, all very good. I highly recommend the torta - the chilaquiles add a satisfying crunch to another wise deliciously soggy and runny mess. This is worth the drive if you're in the mood for good chilaquiles, no matter where you are in the metro.

The carnitas are cooked and seasoned perfectly (not salty). Customer service was great too. The line moved quickly. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos con carnitas maciza. Very delicious, not very spicy but good flavor in the salsa. Kid friendly food, my daughter enjoyed plain tacos de carnitas . Had a bite of the torta which was very delicious we well. We will be back.

If you want chilaquiles that taste home made with a good kick on the sauce …this is the place!!!…very savory it gets packed pretty often …food has really good quality … I get the red enchiladas w carnitas and scrambled egg 😋 comes with beans in the bottom drizzled crema and queso cotija. Fills you up pretty good

These are some of the best Chilaquiles and carnitas in town. 100% authentic, great service, excellent prices and awesome some. It beats any establishment. It's fast, made to order, the staff is nice and attentive.

Excellent carnitas and food. The service is exceptional and attentive. Prices are great, the amount of food is plentiful and the service is fast. Why go to a restaurant or fast food joint and pay overpriced food, when you can stop by get some carnitas, burritos, chillaquiles, torta, etc well served, great taste and a good price. The best carnitas in town, hands down.
