"Tacos Tequila Whiskey’s City Park, Highlands, and Governors Park locations are the places to be on a Monday night, with $5 casa coin margaritas as the star among other happy hour specials." - Camila Navarrette, Eater Staff

Where To Drink Margaritas in Denver
View Postcard for Tacos Tequila Whiskey
@eater

"Beloved Denver food truck turned-restaurant Tacos Tequila Whiskey opened its third location in Governors Park last month. While the food menu offers the same fare as the restaurant’s City Park and Highlands spots, a revamped cocktail menu should debut any day now. If the cocktail menu is still in the works, it’s easy to fall back on classics like the serrano and house coin margaritas." - Camila Navarrette

I’m usually on the fence with fusion tacos but I thought this place did them really well. Every taco was delicious and stuffed; they do not skimp out on them. The fish was perfectly battered and fried, the shrimp taco was well-seasoned, and the special tacos were gochujang beef tacos when I went recently; the sauce was great and meat was incredibly tender. Fried chicken agave taco was good; just not the most impressive taco for the night. Great service and atmosphere; highly recommend and would return

Google
The tacos here are legit the best in the city without a doubt. The fish n beer, asada and the spicy tuna are the shining stars in my book! Mad love for this chill spot serving up incredible flavor! They double stack the tortillas which quickly transforms one very full taco into two medium size tacos and it's absolute perfection. Please pardon the partially consumed taco on my plate in the photo. I could not wait to dive in!!

Google
I flew in town and the place I wanted to eat was closed permanently. I did a search and found Tacos Tequila Whiskey and decided to try. I want to first say, the service is great from the moment you walk in to the very end. The tacos are amazing and full of flavor. I come from a small to medium city and nothing compares. It is definitely a must try.

Google
Sticking with a 4/5 for now, but hope to visit again and maybe have my opinion swayed. This place is almost entirely tacos, so come here if you are looking for that. This won't give you enchiladas, burritos, etc. They make some really great tacos, though. You get your money's worth for sure. Sometimes the main protein is too much - making it impossie to really eat the taco cleanly. I got 6 different tacos and they were mixed. The traditional tacos like carnitas, pollo, birria, etc. were honestly my favorite,. When things got less traditional like the fish and chips taco or the pork belly taco, they were less good. Stick to the classics and it's some of the best. Decent margs but not the best in the city. May shift to a 4.5/5 when I revisit and try the rest of their taco options! Really great atmosphere for this spot. Nice and intimate.

My husband and I came last Thursday for lunch for our anniversary and everything was amazing. We love coming here because the food, drinks, atmosphere and service is always great. Amanda was our server and she was super attentive and friendly! Also I highly recommend the barbacoa and carnitas tacos!

Google
Delicious all around! Highly recommend the tacos and fried chicken skin. I love how this a sister restaurant of one my favorite restaurants in Denver, Fish n Beer. Overall great food quality and service was great!

Google
First time trying this place - great spot but tiny and limited parking. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, gave good suggestions and an honest opinion when asking if something was spicy. Everything was great, tacos are stuffed full and a little hard to eat without making a mess; tis tacos lol. Our favorite were the shrimp taco special and the chicken taco. The fish taco was a little underwhelming and overall a bit mushy texture. Tots were delicious, but can't go wrong there. Someone next to us ordered chips and queso, looked like a must for next visit!! 👍

Google
They add a charge to tip the cooks and then you gotta tip the servers also? Thats ridiculous. The place is also small so they try and squeeze you to share tables with other strangers. The tacos are good but I dont like how they ask to tip all these people

Yelp
Haven't been to TTW (aka Pinché) in a while. They have changed their menu and some of their recipes, some for the better, some not. Salsa trio is always solid. The chips are homemade but tasted a bit different. Not as crisp this time. Queso fundido was piping hot as always. I did like that you can get pozole daily now. It is a seasonal item so you need to ask what it will be. Today's was a spicy, flavorful red chile with pork. The cup was plentiful and filling. For street tacos, the spicy tuna has a nice blend of sweet and spice. Thank goodness they kept the recipe for the taco estilo abril - griddled cotija cheese, roasted poblano pepper, and creamed chipotle corn. I did not order it, but my friend told me they changed the recipe for their pork belly taco and he (and from other reviews) is not a fan. Service is still friendly, fast, and your water glass is always full.

Yelp
This place has been on our list to try for a while! Tacos, tequila, and whiskey; yes please! But alas, it falls way short of the many other similar places in Denver. We started with a couple margs. Meh to bleh, 0/5, how do you make a bad margarita? The food: We started with the tequila cheese fundido. Meh, there seemed to be no flavor beyond sticking some cheese in a cute cast iron pan 0/5. We had to order a side of salsa in search of some flavor. Got the Diablo salsa, it was great! Then the tacos came - spicy tuna, it was probably the best taco that we got 4/5; fish n beer, didn't really have much going on flavor wise but the fish itself was nicely prepared 3/5; pork belly, yuck, must have gotten a straight up block of fat. 0/5; and finally we had a pollo, it was kind of dry 1/5. All around really disappointing.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots for tacos and margaritas in Denver! It's a bit elevated than your average taqueria and not the most authentic Mexican food, but it's delicious nevertheless. Order the queso fundida al tequila as an appetizer and eat it with their salsas - you won't be sorry. The hongos is a vegetarian taco that's one of my favorite tacos here, along with the shrimp (camarones a la diabla). The queso a la plancha is a firm grilled cheese that has a similar texture to paneer. I've also had the fish and barbacoa which I enjoyed. You can't really go wrong with any of the tacos here. They have a lot for parking but it's small and usually filled up. Street parking nearby hasn't been too difficult to find. When the weather is warm they have a patio that's great for dining outside, which tends to be my preference since it can get noisy inside - a fun, casual environment to go out with friends or go on a date night if you like that sort of atmosphere. I've been here many times for nearly a year, and it's almost always full or busy, even on a weeknight. The service has been consistently friendly, though it can understandably get a bit slower on their busier nights.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place because the name has it all! But unfortunately the food was lackluster. I tried several tacos and all of them lacked seasoning and meat flavor. The sauces were also watered down. The best item I tried was the nachos, probably a 2.5/5 because there was plenty of sour cream and pico de gallo to add flavor. The crispy and soft shells were also plain in taste. The location and parking here is also a bit difficult to navigate and tight squeeze for cars. I did not enjoy the parking experience given the restaurant directly faced a street and it's mostly residential surrounding the restaurant so it's not a convenient location. The service was fine, staff was friendly and nice. But otherwise I would not return for food, even for happy hour where I expected better prices unfortunately.

Yelp
Mmmm! My friends and I do a monthly "tacos and tequila girls night" where we try different taco spots throughout Denver. So far, this is tied for first! We went during happy hour, which was a good deal for drinks, but not very impressive for tacos. We went on a Friday during a prime time and amazingly were seated without much delay. Our server was attentive and nice. The cocktails were tasty and the tacos were absolutely phenomenal. As a bonus, I can walk here and didn't feel unsafe, even after dark. Overall, fantastic spot that I will definitely be visiting again.

Yelp
This was one of the best restaurants I've ever been! I went in on a Tuesday at about 6:15pm and there was a bit of a wait (about 10 min) but one table left for the two of us! The ambiance was a super cool vibe and it was very comfortable. Not to mention, the food was TO DIE FOR! I was also happy that 5% of our meal went to the kitchen staff! They deserve it! Our server was also amazing! Next time I'm in this area again I will be coming back! :)

Yelp
Tacos Tequila Whiskey with a name like that how can you go wrong. The space is exposed brick with the bar front and center- tons of character. I especially like the pastel donkeys on the wall. Queso fundido Al tequila is melted cheese goodness until you get to the bottom of the caramelized cheese bits and then it's another level of taste altogether. This is not your average tacos. It's bougie. The quesobirria, carne asada, and camarones ala diabla deserve special mention. However most unusual and delicious is the pollo agave - that's fried chicken with sweet agave sauce is a must try.

Yelp
A fun restaurant in which both the decor and wait-service were dressed up for the holiday! We both got their "spooky" Marg, a variety of tacos, and a soup to split. Our waitress, Joelle, was upbeat and informative; we really liked her and appreciated her recommendations. Spooky Marg: A twist of their Purist Marg with something that makes it purple and a spicy, salted rim. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the name of the powder, BUT it doesn't dye your mouth purple so don't let it concern you. As a classic marg, it didn't stand out on its own, but that salted rim(!) really carried it a long way from being boring. Chicken Flautas: This was a special and not a regular item on their menu. Really tender chicken and crispy, fried shell which sat atop of a small green salad with pickled radishes and a hibiscus dressing (made to look like oozing blood, haha). Interesting flavors and fun textures! Tacos: We were recommended two to four tacos per person, but as it was my first visit, we went a little overboard so I could taste more... Everything was really good, but I do wish less of the offerings were deep-fried. Soup whose name I've forgotten: You were hatch green and thin with lots of hominy. Perfect for a sunny yet cool day... Two-hour street parking is abundant and in walking distance. This restaurant is also close to the zoo which makes for a great "quick bite" before heading there.

Yelp
Excellent tacos and drinks! The carnitas and ahi tacos were outstanding. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
What a delightful place. Needed to kill some time before a movie at Sie and found this gem a couple blocks away. The space is decorated very well, loved the vibe. They even made a wall with cinder blocks painted black. Creative and money saver too. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitstaff was friendly, helpful, and the guy who was delivering food and updating the sign, well he was awesome. The food was very tasty and we were bummed we couldn't try more. I had the tots, recommended by said waiter. I added their walnut charizo, which was very tasty not greesy at all. It was a great dish I would come back for again. My friend got a couple tacos, chicken and one steak. The chicken was bomb. Citrus and Chipotle I believe. Yum!! We would love to come back and try more. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Two words: Happy hour.....just do it. Great place for margs and tacos. Great vibe, Great Service, and Great food. Loved the nachos, Totopos y Tres Salsas ( amazing salsas with great diverse flavors), bombass street tacos ( loved the pork belly, barbacoa, crispy shrimp) And Don't forget their humungo Churros.they are fantastic. Parking is a fun challenge at this location

Will M.

Yelp
Outstanding service and food! Ordered 9 tacos but only received 8 so our server gave us churro's complimentary. Tacos were unique & tasty- Spicy Tuna was the highlight!

Portia W.

Yelp
Best Tacos in Denver with awesome chef and authentic street tacos made fresh and warm! Tequila menu to die for and Margarita choices are insane! This is a must try! Vegan options available and the Brussel Sprout taco was by far my favorite! Street corn and churros don't miss this!!

Stefanie C.

Yelp
YUMMY!! With so many TTW locations in Denver, I was excited to finally try one. Came here with a group of friends. With how busy the dinner wait was, we were lucky to snag one of the 6-top tables near the entrance. We even had a stroller with us, and the wait staff was super accommodating with space. Would have been lovely to sit on the patio as well, but it was chilly that day. Loved the Spicy Margarita. Definitely come here for happy hour. We ordered a TON of different tacos and even got a few we didn't order. Oops on the kitchen. My top choices were the carnitas, birris, and shrimp. Wasn't a fan of the pork belly. Overall the tacos were tasty and all different. Solid 4-star spot, and my partner's all-time favorite. Don't forget churros for dessert!

Chirelle P.

Yelp
This is the best taco place ever!!! I hit this place up every single time I'm in town & it never disappoints!! We stopped here right after we landed in Denver. The service is always amazing! I tried the signature margarita & it was the best one I had while in Denver this trip! They made my friends a mocktail with hibiscus & lavender. She liked it & the hibiscus garnish was pretty too. The queso a la plancha was out favorite taco, we each ordered one of these. It's such a simple taco & I love the tomatillo salsa they use on these tacos, just the right amount of lime juice too. I also ordered a hongos taco which had mushrooms on it. I wish I would have ordered two of these! I loved the flavor of the mushrooms & the cilantro corn. The veggie tinga tacos were too spicy for me. I couldn't eat this one. I tried to pick at it, but it was just too spicy. I'm not sure if it was the cauliflower & brussel sprout seasoning or what made this so spicy. My friend ordered the fish n beer taco which had a pretty decent sized beer battered fish piece. She also ordered the carnitas taco. She really enjoyed both of them. I love that they double the shells for the tacos so they don't fall apart as easily. We sat outside & it was a really pretty day on their patio. The umbrellas provide enough shade for the tables. This restaurant is my most highly recommended place to visit in Denver! I tell all my friends who travel to Denver to check it out!

Eilen S.

Yelp
Super laid back hole in the wall tucked away from the main street (colfax). We always drive by this place but had not stopping by and finally got the chance to a few weeks ago. The location is adorable with an exposed kitchen and a super friendly staff. We sat at the bar and the couple next to us where regulars who ordered "the usual" drinks & food where absolutely delicious and the happy hour prices were completely doable. We will definitely come back here in the future.

Teri F.

Yelp
Amazing good! Fresh made while you watch! Fantastic little place! Service is awesome! Frozen margarita hits the spot!

Danielle L.

Yelp
Service is nice here. The pork belly taco is good mostly because of the sauce they give you to accompany it. Drinks are strong and tasty. Bring back the guacamole with the seared tuna. I would come back more if you brought that back. Just saying. Thank you.

Alyssa C.

Yelp
I was traveling solo on my first time to Denver (September 12th weekend) and I desperately wanted tacos and margaritas. My Airbnb was just a block or so away. The parking is a little stressful - thankfully I got there early. I sat at the bar and arrived about 5:15. Bartender assisted me with food and cocktails (THE BEST margaritas) and made sure to help me navigate gluten on the menu. He was friendly and came by to chat and talk about food, local stuff, music. I appreciate that- it's why I travel. He acknowledged there were a couple tacos they couldn't make gluten free that I was very excited about the possibility of getting to have them and so he comped a chips and salsa appetizer. Very kind and that made my day. The tacos were incredible. I ordered a *second* round of pork belly taco and esquites tacos. Came out super fast. I sat next to the kitchen- and these are some of the hardest working individuals with attention to detail. I was impressed! The cocktails, the bar, the food- genuinely loved it and if I had more time I probably would have circled back a second time. (PS. I love the stickers on the back of the bar ;) ) The couple "negatives" to this place. The bar is tight - too many stools at the bar - they need to remove TWO seats from the bar... I was literally touching the woman next to me, rubbing arms, during a pandemic. (I stepped back to look to see if she was just exceptionally close... it really was simply too many seats at the bar. I could barely lift my drink.) It is extremely loud - by 6:30-7 I could no longer hear the bartender nor the people sitting directly next to me. Overall, delicious food, drinks, great bartender. Would return.

Christine K.

Yelp
Had the worst food I have ever eaten and pretty certain it's going to haunt me for the next day or so. Besides the fact they charged $6 for 3 tiny baby coconut shrimp during their happy hour, their pastor taco was not like any pastor taco I have ever had, drowned in a something between a combination of watered down ketchup and barbeque sauce which keeps trying to find it way out of my body, I am certain this is store specific and not a reflection of its other locations. Oof! Not wanting to make a scene in front of my dining companion, I should have made an exception this time and saved myself the likely visit to the doctor tomorrow.

Nick W.

Yelp
I went here for my birthday and had a good time! We did the chips & salsa, some tacos and margs. The chips and salsa were good - they have some unique salsa styles I've never had before. The tacos are fancy tacos. Rich and complex flavors, smaller, but loaded with filling! Really good. The marg was just okay. Overall, I really enjoyed it. It's a bit pricier and the location itself is relatively small. I could imagine it being hard to get a spot on a weekend or busy evenings, but we had no trouble!

Serina E.

Yelp
When I tell you this place has one of the best barbacoa tacos, PLEASE BELIEVE ME. I swear the Abuelas in the back of the kitchen is putting so much love and care into these tacos cause man I wanted more and more. I got three different type of tacos, the quesabirria, carnita and the barbacoa. I also had to get the mango margarita which was one of the best margs I've had. Done perfectly right. The service was great, I had a party of 7 but the manager was able to accommodate all of us in a short time! Waiters kept checking up on us to ensure we had a great time. The ambiance was positive and lively. I felt like it was just a nice casual dinner spot for friends and family. I'm sure this place can get very crowded so I'm glad I did come on a weekday night. I can't wait to come back and try the delicious tacos again. Oh and I love all of their salsas. Try it all.

Amanda R.

Yelp
Amazing. I had thee best pick up/take out order. I usually frequent the other TTW location in the highlands due to proximity, but my girlfriend's and I were having a winter afternoon inside and this location was closer. I placed our large 14 tacos and 3 brussel sprouts order online through their website. When I arrived the gentleman who was working was quick to help me and packaged all the food before I got there. 3 neatly packed bags were waiting for me. All tacos were perfect and the quality was on point. I will definitely be returning to this location!

Elly F.

Yelp
Writing this w/ my boyfriend after a quite delectable and very filling meal here. I first ordered a Serrano margarita with a spicy rim. The spicy rim was not too spicy, and also didn't taste like much. The margarita was good, but I would've loved something spicier. We ordered the chips & salsa (we got the roasted tomatillo, pico, creamy avocado, and mango habanero). The chips were warm when we got them. The mango habanero was so deliciously sweet and spicy. I expected it to be chunky but it was nice and smooth and so delicious. The roasted tomatillo was tangy af and I loved it, the creamy avocado was very creamy but also tangy and flavorful (I've had plenty of avocado salsas that are a bit bland). The pico was great too. We got the tamale special, which had a bunch of shit on it, idk. It was vegetarian, which was really nice. Wrapped in a banana leaf lookin all cute. Definitely yummy, although I felt it needed some of our salsas added to give it the pop of flavor I was really looking for. For my tacos, I got two of the fish n beer tacos (I fuck with pickled red onions hard, batter was delicious and flavorful), one roasted poblano taco (creamy and saucy and spicy and smoky- one of my favorites), and a walnut chorizo taco ( the walnut chorizo looked very convincing, and the chorizo flavor was there, but the texture was more like burnt chorizo. This was probably the least flavorful to me). My boyfriend also got a mushroom elote kind of taco that I loved and he let me finish :,) we only got two little lime wedges for all of our tacos. I am definitely a lime wedge per taco kinda gal, so I would request more in the future. Our server was also so nice and did not make us feel rushed, although we were finishing up around closing time. (Dan) Tacos were fucking FIRE tonight. I had an Al Pastor, walnut chorizo, fish & beer, and a mushroom 1 with like elote on it, can't recall the name. Nothing negative to say whatsoever about any of the tacos; the walnut chorizo was a very interestingly incorporated texture/flavor; well done That mushroom taco also fucking SLAPPED (I ended up tasting Elly's roasted poblano & determined that was my favorite tonight), Al pastor was wonderfully cooked & seasoned, fish was perfectly battered, flavored, also loved how big/hefty the fish taco portions were. The tamales blew my socks off as well & were so well done/cooked/flavored We also had a blast with all our Salsas that came with the chips (you usually get 3, and our beautiful server let us pick 4) the salsas also went wonderfully with & on the tacos. perfect date night with my girlfriend; I will be back here 1000%!!!

Christin S.

Yelp
Ideally I'd give TTW a 4.5 if that were possible and here's why: The chicken tinga taco appetizer was the star. Juicy, packed with flavor, and on small handmade tortillas that were almost puffy and absolutely delicious. The drinks (especially at happy hour prices) were hits too! Favorites were the Paloma and Serrano (spicy marg). The special of the day was the cheese tamale - if they are surging this when you go ORDER IT. Soft, flavorful, and piping hot. I had to resist ordering another after taking the first bite. The chips and guac were a miss for me. The chips were hot but I would have appreciated more salt. The guac was too soft and lacked any real punch that I would normally get from lime or onion. The tacos were a mix: the hongos and carnitas were both delicious. The barbacoa was good not great (too many large crunchy vegetables that didn't let the meat shine). And the pork belly was REALLY large chunks of fat that didn't have any sort of crispness to it. Overall it was a great atmosphere and almost everything we ordered was delicious!

Andrew E.

Yelp
Drinks were subpar. sweet and kinda hard to get down. Just missing something but the tacos were fire. Ate ourselves sick and had a super fun time. Definitely recommend

Ingrid S.

Yelp
get the churros. Always get the churros. Also the tacos are all amazing- I just don't want you to forget the churros

Walter B.

Yelp
A little expensive but what isn't these days. Seevice was great people friend. Try it York and 16th. If you do I am sure you will return at a later ask for more tequila in your drinks

Sonja A.

Yelp
Tacos! When I win the lottery, I'm buying all my Yelp followers Tacos and Margs, courtesy of Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey. TTW serves great tacos and the Serrano Marg, a must have. You can't go wrong no matter what you order. Menu is limited but hey, it's ok to sacrifice for perfection. Order the chips and tres salsa too They are fresh and delish. Reservations can be made on Open Table. Indoor and outdoor both available. Masks required and the restaurant has santizer available for diners. Table time is limited to an hour (must be a Denver City "thing"). But fear not, service is quick and the food hot. Oh, most importantly, the staff clean the tables very well between parties. Less one star only for the noise....the music was too LOUD (yes, even for me, the gal who stands next to speakers at live shows) And that's how we celebrate "Eat Meat Day" in Colorado.

Kierstin R.

Yelp
Awesome and filling tacos! The margaritas and old fashioned's here are also on point. We started out with the brussel sprouts and then made a variety of choices for the street tacos. We ordered the Camarones a la Parilla, Pork Belly "Agridulce" and Walnut Chorizo. I also love that it is pretty close to my house so I will definitely be back and I've heard the happy hour is great here too!

R. Tony S.

Yelp
Beyond outstanding experience, from the food to the atmosphere to the service! I'm especially thankful to the superwoman server that dug through the trash and found my Invisalign retainers after getting accidentally being thrown away inside my napkin! Dear Management: we were there 7/1/22 8pm, on the front patio... thank you in advance for thanking our server! Cheers! Salud!

Alex S.

Yelp
Literally the best tacos. My mouth is salivating thinking of thief. This place is superrrr cute and quaint. We didn't make a reservation and were able to be seated right around 6. They are all decorated for Halloween which added to the ambiance. Service was great and food was even better! Already looking forward to the next time I go back!

Karrie S.

Yelp
I am sad to report this place has changed its menu and it was not for the better. My husband ordered the pork belly taco's completely different recipe one was all fat and the other was over cooked and dry. He also order the shrimp taco it was so spicy he could barely eat it and it had the shrimp still had the shell on it. Couldn't tell until he bit into it as it was smothered in a super spicy sauce. My chicken taco was super dry. Please bring back your original menu. If it wasn't broken why fix it? The staff was still very pleasant. But, unfortunately we won't be back anytime soon.

Morgan F.

Yelp
CARNITAS TACOS!!! YUM! Have been visiting Denver for two months and SO happy that my fiance and I found this place around the corner from us! The tacos are some of the best I've ever had. Make sure to save room for desert since the churros are amazing!! They have a great outdoor seating area and deals for happy hour. The guac is delicious and so are the palomas. The service is friendly and relatively quick even through they always seem to be pretty busy. We are trying to visit as much as possible before we leave. Seriously SO good!

Janelle S.

Yelp
One of our favorite date night restaurants. A fun vibe (though it can be loud) and great food! I almost always get the same tacos: the pollo agave, the hongos, and the Camarones a la Diabla. The flavors and the sauces are second to none. By far, this is my favorite taco place! And, the Margs are also delicious. I even asked them to make me a non alcoholic drink when I was pregnant and it was also so good!

John F.

Yelp
I post reviews of restaurants based on three factors: food, service, and atmosphere. Tacos Tequila Whiskey used to have excellent food including tongue tacos that were to die for. During our recent visit, the menu was missing some options and we ordered most everything else on the menu. The food was was okay, with the nachos being the hit. The service was a struggle for the staff and the atmosphere was good as always. A solid three stars.

Geoffrey R.

Yelp
Super friendly service, fun place to come for happy hour. The tacos are pretty good especially the Carne Asada. The HH margs are decent, a little watered down but still pretty good options. We were disappointed to find out they don't pozole for a few months. Other than that, really nice atmosphere.

Jason J.

Yelp
Amazing Tacos! We loved that you could order as you go and of course we needed more of these delicious tacos. The short wait was worth it. The carnitas tacos were to die for!!

Grace P.

Yelp
Cute little place with delicious margs and some really unique veggie options! I had one taco with walnut chorizo and one with a spicy corn filling. The outdoor atmosphere was fun and the waitstaff was very friendly as well!

Billy G.

Yelp
Another gem found thanks to Yelp. We spent the day at the Zoo and not sure where to go for our Linner. Carnitas nachos are phenomenal. Tuna tacos were delish, Pastor, Grilled Shrimp, Shredded beef were all fantastic and a hit for everyone. We got in for Happy Hour and enjoyed the price specials!

Ann M.

Yelp
Tacos and margs are great. Service varies. Sometimes the music is so freaking loud that you can't communicate with people at your table.

Tim J.

Yelp
Pinches is my love for years, hands down my favorite tacos. But recently noticed the volume of the music is pinche loud! To the point we struggle to have a conversation. I'm sad to say it's enough to keep me away. I get it's a small place and you want to turn tables, but to passively aggressively harass your loyal customers is a huge turn off. There's too many taco games in town to act like this.

R S.

Yelp
I asked the bartender what her recommendations and she recommended 4 if the best tacos I've ever had, and this is coming from a Californian. I'd never thought Denver, Colorado would have the best tacos I've ever had, but this is now my god standards to how tacos should be. I'd highly recommend anyone who visits Colorado to stop here.

Emma D.

Yelp
Fantastic taco spot!! Sat at the bar which was the fastest place to sit as it was busy. I'm vegan and got the cauliflower burrito, sub guac for the queso. The others got shrimp tacos and said they were great. I didn't drink this time but their drinks were well made and looked great. Lily served us and was really attentive and kept our water glasses full. My only complaint is that it's SUPER LOUD in here, great bar atmosphere but maybe don't bring your hard of hearing grandma. Also I saw them cleaning well between customers which made me feel safer in these times.

Yelp
This place has delicious tacos and a cool 90s kid kinda vibe! A little expensive but worth it for a fun night out

Yelp
Cool little spot for a date night. We started off getting some house margs and some sliders. The margs were tasty and strong, the sliders tasted amazing! So much flavor! Right after our tacos came out the rain came out of nowhere! The staff was great at getting us inside even though it was quite busy. My favorite taco was the barbacoa I love the pickled onion on top. My girlfriends favorite was the mushroom taco. We liked them so much we each got an additional one. The price of the tacos add up and the parking can be complicated. With the quick, friendly service and tasty food we will be back.

Yelp
Our experience was amazing. The food was absolutely delightful. Our service was outstanding and we would visit here again without hesitation. The staff was friend, especially Sarah, with her great music selection. Everything was great!

Yelp
I came here with my husband who is handicapped with our service dog and was treated very poorly by the front staff. They don't allow dogs. I get it she's a service dog recognized by the United States and has all of her credentials. I know people try to sneak their emotional support animals into places, but this is an actual service dog. I cannot express how upset I am at the staff at this restaurant According to laws with service dogs, which I had her vest and her card that they could have called, they are not allowed to ask what his ailment is. I am so disappointed in this place I would not recommend it to anyone. I will never support a restaurant that treats people with disabilities this way. I hope you won't either.

Yelp
This is my take and definitely not criticism. Being a SoCal - Texas native, I'm no street taco beginner. They are great here. Difficult to find in Denver IMO. My only advice would be to ask them to give you the hottest sauce, salsa possible. I've found that spicy is not so spicy in this part of the country. Maybe I'll take a cue from Hillary and "keep a bottle of hot sauce in my purse" next time I'm in Colorado. Lol. Seriously try this especially if you're on the hunt for a good street taco.
