Absolutely unacceptable experience after being a loyal customer for years. I have been to this restaurant over 20 times and routinely go out of my way to come here, but I will not be returning after how we were treated.
After ordering several tacos and two margaritas each, everything was fine until Brandon, our server, got a 9-top. Once that happened, his attitude completely changed. Even though we had already paid our bill and left a full 20% tip, he immediately started trying to rush us out.
While we were waiting on a cab and finishing our drinks, Brandon came over and said, in a passive-aggressive tone, I am going to say this in the nicest way possible, we are seating a 9 seat back here and you might want to leave. Less than a minute later, he returned and said we are boxing you out. When I asked him to chill and give me two minutes to finish my drink, he actually reached over and tried to rip the drink out of my hand as if I was the problem. I pulled it back, stood up to leave, and he then opened the door like he was escorting me out.
This was rude, aggressive, and completely unnecessary, especially toward a regular customer who had already paid, tipped well, and was simply waiting on transportation. If Brandon can't handle a 9-top without rushing paying customers out and putting his hands on their drinks, he has no business serving tables. Learn how to manage your section, and don't treat loyal customers like garbage.
