"LA would be a better place if there were a Taco’s Tu Madre on every fifth block. For now, we’re just glad there’s one near us. The feel of this place is somewhere between a restaurant and a food truck. It’s a small, colorful building with a casual walk-up window where you order. They have a small indoor area with some bar stools and a few tables. But the emphasis here is clearly on the food, and it seems their low overhead allows them to innovate. They have more than just your typical Mexican style fare with delightfully unconventional tacos like vegan banh mi and Korean barbecue. You really can’t go wrong. Just please make sure you have the red velvet churros for dessert." - Clever Creative

"Tacos Tu Madre has a few locations across the city, but the one in Weho is our favorite for two reasons: The retrofitted bungalow space has a wrap-around patio ideal for casual lunch meetings, and, well, there’s alcohol. That means you can suck down margaritas, eat things like chicken rice bowls and crispy fish tacos, and not worry that you were supposed to be back to work 20 minutes ago." - brant cox
"Tacos Tu Madre in West Hollywood added a bunch of holiday specials available through 12/24. New taco options include Brazilian ham, tamal-style Jalisco pork, and twice-baked potato, and they’ve got cocktails like the Mr. Gnome’s Drunken Gingerbread, with brown butter-infused tequila, and a DIY pack for mulled wine. "Tacos Tu Madre has a few locations across the city, but the one in Weho is special for two reasons: They’ve got a big patio, and, more importantly, they’ve got a shiny new license to serve alcohol. That means you can suck down margaritas while you eat crispy shrimp tacos." - brett keating
"Tacos Tu Madre has quickly expanded all over the city, which is good news for you right now, because that means you’re probably not too far from one. Whether it’s Westwood or West Hollywood, Los Feliz or Larchmont, Tacos Tu Madre is offering their full menu for either takeout or delivery. And yes, that includes their absolutely fantastic breakfast burrito." - brant cox
