Tacos With A Twist

Fast casual concept so you order as you walk in a then grab a table. Menu has a nice variety and it all sounded delicious! I will say the overall experience was ruined by the fact they were under staffed. It took a while to order because they kept leaving to go serve the food. Then after we ordered and sat down, it took a very long time to get our food and when we finally got our food it had cooled off because it sat in the window so long. While we waited for our food, we decided to order a flight of salsa thinking that would come out fast. Unfortunately it came out after we had eaten about half our dinner. The tacos had good flavor and the menu descriptions were accurate, but again when your food comes out slow and luke warm it takes away from the meal. The flight of salsa is a great concept, but the containers were way too small (about the size you put ketchup in) and we had to break the chips into little pieces to even get a little something on them. Way too much work! Margaritas were good and tasted like they were made with fresh lime juice, but they were a bit pricey. Overall the staff did the best they could and were very friendly and polite, but when you can’t even get a water refill it really makes dinner an unpleasant experience. Sorry Tacos with a Twist, just not a good experience.

Came here Thursday evening with a group of friends as we’ve heard great things and you can never go wrong with Mexican food. To start out I ordered the guacamole and chips. I’m a huge fan of guacamole but this particular batch was VERY sour and I didn’t finish it. I am thinking it was made with too much lime. For the main, I ordered a half portion Nachos and added Chicken, Grilled Peppers/Onions, Pico, and Lettuce. It was delicious and I would definitely order this again. The salsa that was provided was fresh and tasty. The Strawberry Margarita was good and refreshing. Overall, I enjoyed the food here outside of the guacamole and I would come back. If you’re ever in the area definitely check this place out!

Tacos with a Twist is absolutely amazing! The tacos were deliciously fresh. My favorite taco is now the Bang Bang Shrimp taco! The drinks were definitely something you could taste and feel! Great service and environment! This was my 1st visit but it definitely will not be my last!

Laura and Danny are so sweet. Today was my first time here and they provided great suggestions for foods and drinks. Wonderful customer service. Thank you ladies for the great experience! They are not shy on the liquor. My favorite was the bang bang shrimp taco.

Another breakfast date with the wife! I ordered the chicken and cheese Quesadilla and the chips and Queso(delicious, I must say) and for my drink, I had the lemonade mixed with fruit punch no ice(not pictured 😥) Ladybug had the Bacon, Eggs & Cheese Tacos with Sriracha sauce with a side of potatoes! And would y'all believe they had bottomless mimosas? That one's a DEFINITE PLUS on my favorite spot to eat breakfast! And the atmosphere was great! Dede was our waitress, very nice and professional, friendly and ready to assist us with urgency! Thanks guys!

This was definitely a twist! Came here on a beautiful day with a girlfriend of mine. The atmosphere was beautiful outside with the umbrella seating areas. The bad is... the food took over 25 minutes to be delivered. My taco was assembled in a way that made it fall out when I picked it up; they fixed it, just took another 15 minutes lol. Side bar: I only ordered ONE taco. Yikes! I also got the sampler drink option it was around $18 good mix of sangria and other mix drinks. The sangria wasn’t my favorite but the presentation was really appreciated. The fish in the salad and my taco was very salty. I personally prefer the flavor of well seasoned food over salty food. Will I be back? Maybe! I can consider giving them an opportunity to redeem themselves.

This place definitely deserves the hype it’s been getting! When I walked in, the atmosphere had a Miami vibe to it. I haven’t found any other spot in Nashville that’s been able to successfully pull that off. Their music selection was solid. My friend and I were jamming to all the classic HipHop they were playing. Service was on point that night. Keadra was our server, and boy did she take good care of us. The other people who worked there looked like they were genuinely enjoying themselves. I was the designated driver, so I only got water. However, my friend got the Bourbon Paradise. He is really selective about his mixed drinks, and after his first sip, he gave me his classic nod of approval. For my meal, I got four tacos (two Korean BBQ and two Nashville Hot Chicken). I mean WOW!! Those tacos were tasty! If I had to choose one flavor as my favorite, the Hot Chicken won hands down. It wasn’t all that hot to me, but it was so delicious that I didn’t mind all that much. Overall, I had a great visit and without a doubt would come back here again!
