If you're looking to spend your hard earned money on gentrified, mid, overpriced tacos with poor service, then this is the place for you. When we arrived, we stood at the counter waiting for the busy staff to initiate an interaction with us so we could place our order. However, that moment never came and another customer referred us to the kiosk. I suggested that maybe she would be a better candidate to work there, seeing as we were ignored by everyone else.
The interior is lacking in personality. During our first visit, we were limited to four tables, while the rest of the restaurant was blocked with a wet mop (and no one nearby) for over 30 minutes. With the limited space, the flimsy metal furniture and wobbly tables had a customer stumbling to navigate his way to the counter. When our order came, any utensils, napkins and salsas were not considered on the tray. The same helpful customer pointed out where to locate the items.
All of these details above could easily be overlooked if the food was good. It was far from it. I will admit we appreciated the hot temperature of all the food items. We paid extra to try the unique Bulgogi taco, which tasted like an overwhelming burnt sauce that lingered and destroyed subsequent bites of anything else. The protein from the carne asada mulita and tacos was gristly and scarce. The bottom of the mulita was soggy and greasy. We ordered a side of beans, that were priced affordable but were dry and bare.
As we cleaned up after ourselves and left, we continued to be ignored, without a goodbye or thank you. Disappointed, we walked to the nearby taco restaurant on the street over for dinner redemption. We will not be returning.
