Vegan Mexican Street Food Debuts Soon - Eater Vegas

"Tacotarian is a new vegan Mexican street food restaurant that opens on Aug. 22. It features a black, white, and aqua blue interior with vintage Mexican movies projected onto the walls. The restaurant seats about 40 people and includes a bar area, side banquettes, and a long communal table. Locally handcrafted wood tables and tile from Mexico contribute to its vintage Mexican market vibe. The menu, designed by executive chef John Simmons, includes various street tacos and other Mexican dishes, along with desserts like churros and vegan champurrado chocolate ice cream from Nourish Creamery. The restaurant also offers wines, margaritas, and a special Tacotarian lager developed by Local Craft Beer in Tehachapi, California." - Susan Stapleton

I had a great experience here! I ordered the Crunchwrap and was pleasantly surprised by how big it was — perfect after my morning fast, and I was more than ready to take it on! The place wasn’t too busy during my visit, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I also had a no rim mango margaritas that was delicious. I chose not to get a receipt & I can’t remember how much each individual item cost but for reference: Wrap, margarita, and 18% tip was about $31. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was very impressed with the whole ambiance of this hipster, chill Vegan spot. It over-exceeded my expectations when it came to the food, service, and overall ambiance. The mango margarita with the Tajin rim was absolutely delicious! Even though it was packed during the brunch hours, the food came out so fresh and tasty. I can’t wait to go back for the trio Vegan tacos and fried oreos.

Very good flavor profile with so many options. I appreciate their focus on one cuisine, getting the flavors right and making it vegan. There are many taco options with seitan, soy, potato, mushroom, fried avocado, and jackfruit. There is also simple Bean and cheese taco. We tried all of them and loved them. Tacos are artfully crafted and did not even need sauces even though they offered so many. I particularly liked the jackfruit taco, arguably the best I have had among other vegan restaurants. Their chips and salsa is good, perhaps salsa was over seasoned. Their plates are pretty big and hard to finish. The rice was alright and I would skip the next time.

I love this restaurant chain (although the Fort Apache location is my fav🤩)! I've eaten in the restaurant, & ordered out several times. A long time vegan, & Mexican cuisine lover, everything I've ordered has been above my expectations, especially when they cook to order, aiming 2 please 👌🏼. Their customer service is consistent: friendly; always w/a smile & professional. I've also eaten in the Arts District location a couple of times, & in the Blue Diamond location; recently had their Mexican Pizza , which was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 - a must try, SO yummilicious!! You really should check them out; u won't b disappointed! Keep up the good work ladies 😉! I 👁️ u & am proud 2 support u!! 🥰 Please do more Cali locations!!🙏🏼🙏🏼

Ordered for the first time with an open mind, having tried other vegan options before. But never in this capacity! My wife and I have been back 2 additional times since the photos were taken, and it has been a pleasurable experience. The 3 taco platter is a great option to sample multiple items. The rice and beans were very nice and had flavor throughout. The chorizo taco and the elote corn are wonderful and have been our favorites each time we've ordered. Pineapple drink is to die for and also is on the top of the list!

We had vegans in town. This is the spot! It’s good food, good enough that you’re not bummed out about having vegans in town. Good food, all fresh stuff, friendly people. You could certainly do worse!

Tacotarian in Las Vegas is a game-changer for anyone who loves great food without needing meat to make it special. It's refreshing to find a fully vegetarian restaurant that doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. Every bite is packed with flavor, making you forget you're eating vegetarian. The tacos are especially fantastic, with diverse fillings that rival any traditional meat taco. Their service is equally impressive; the staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to ensure you have a great dining experience. It's clear that Tacotarian takes pride in both their food and customer service, creating a must-visit spot for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike!
