The Newest Restaurants In Chicago

"Unsurprisingly, tacos are the draw at this casual counter-service spot that looks like an industrial-chic brewery in Logan Square. Tacote stuffs everything from rib eye to adobada pork to shrimp in their tacos, which you can get individually, as a combo, or in family platters that include one pound of meat." - john ringor, veda kilaru, nick allen

Absolutely amazing. I don't know where to even begin. Simplicity yet so full of flavor. I enjoyed the variety of the toppings available to add on. It's not your typical onion and cilantro toppings. There's a wide variety of salsa options too. My favorite was the fact that the Corn tortillas are handmade. Which means freshness in every bite!

My wife and I always go here. It's down the street and the food is really good. Not just the Mexican food but the venezuelan food they have is absolutely delicious. I've had their burritos, tacos, quesadillas and recently, arepas with beef. Nothing beats coming here after a long day at the office on a Wednesday night.

The best guacamole I have ever tried Personally I don't like it when they combine it with chili, tomato and onion. I am simpler of palate. And this guacamole is delicious, I highly recommend it

Owner is very nice and helpful, told us everything that's coming soon including alcohol and a big sign. Their spicy brown sauce is to die for, and the adobada tacos taste incredible, and they're quite big compared to other places. Definitely coming here more!!!

Truly the best tacos I've had in the city so far. They remind me of a place in CDMX and getting the cheese is a must and the salsa with peanuts is so rich and smokey and spicy. The texture and quality of the meat is only surpassed by the warmth and passion of the family who run this new business. Can't wait to go back

Absolutely delicious. My new favorite taco in Chicago. I had a steak taco and a pork taco. Simple yet flavorful.

The food here is really, really good. My steak quesadillas were fresh. The service is friendly, the wait time was fast and prices are very reasonable. My only constructive criticism is that they don’t have their entire menu posted online for the food apps. Once you walk in there are a lot more options than there are on DoorDash. They also only have app orders available for a limited time. I think if they opened up their menu they would get more business. It’s very good food.

The combination of the adobada pork taco with the red onion is the mere shimba. It's an explosion of flavor in my mouth. I recommend ordering them with cheese, it is a delicacy

Yelp
Amazing food!!! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, let us put the Lions game on, and gave us chips and guac. Would definitely recommend this place for good service and quality food
