Tada Ramen & Yakitori

Tada Ramen & Yakitori has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. The yakitori here is outstanding — perfectly grilled over charcoal, juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. You can really taste the care in every skewer. The enoki mushrooms & chicken karaage are absolute must-orders, and even the vegetable skewers are delicious. The ramen is also excellent — rich broth, bouncy noodles, and toppings that taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a place that does both ramen and yakitori well, but Tada really nails it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the chefs are friendly, and the service is consistently great. It feels like a neighborhood spot, but the food quality is restaurant-level amazing. Whether you’re craving comforting ramen or perfectly grilled yakitori, Tada is a place you won’t regret visiting. Highly recommended!

I ordered the creamy soy ramen (vegan) and the trumpet mushroom skewers! The flavors were fresh and the service was immaculate! The server knew just when to check in on all the tables and as someone who was dining solo, I am so glad I was not overlooked but also not pressured to eat too fast. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Did they change ingredients or recipes recently? I used to recommend everyone coming to town to this spot, for the flavorful broth and juicy chashu, but something changed. The broth is not the same, the chashu wasn’t good 🥹 brought in a friend and was a little embarrassed. Maybe it was an off night, or I’m hoping!

Came here on a while and I was surprised how delicious their Ramen is. The soup base was thick and full of flavors! I was impressed.. definitely must try

Good neighborhood ramen spot. I think what really shone for them were their skewers and side dishes. I thoroughly enjoyed the squid and bacon scallop yakitori. We also ordered their corn appetizer which was delicious as well as their enoki fries, which were slightly salty compared to the mensho ones. Overall I think one of the better spots in Oakland, second only to mensho which is hard to beat, but at much more affordable prices here!

Had an incredible lunch at Tada Ramen and Yakitori! We were on the hunt for steamed buns and were thrilled with their version featuring pork belly—it was absolutely perfect. Everything else we tried was equally delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, with soothing Japanese music playing in the background. A truly delightful experience!

The Tan Tan was a little spicier broth but not overdone powering. We also ordered a few Skewers and all were flavorful and tasty. The skewers were charred just right and were not overdone or super chewy. We had Enoki Bacon, scallop Bacon, and combo(1) which consists of 1 prawn, 1 eel and 1 scallop. We got there before the crowd came. Popular for pick up orders. Got lucky as soon as we were almost done with our meal, the place was full for a weeknight. Would like to definitely come back to try more of their skewers.

Tada Ramen & Yakitori is such a solid neighborhood spot. The food here is consistently good, and you can tell they actually care about the flavors. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful without being too heavy, and the noodles always come out with that perfect chew. I’ve tried a few different bowls and haven’t been disappointed once. But the real surprise for me was the yakitori — honestly some of the best I’ve had in the Bay. The skewers come off the grill super juicy with that great charcoal aroma. The chicken thigh, skin, and tsukune are my usual must-orders. They nail the seasoning every time. Service is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and it feels like a place locals actually go instead of one of those overhyped trendy spots. Prices are fair for the quality, and food comes out quickly even on busy nights. If you’re craving a comforting bowl of ramen or want some really tasty yakitori without having to drive into SF, Tada is definitely worth checking out. I keep coming back — it’s that good.

Solid Ramen option. The pork was not like the chashu I have experienced at almost every ramen shop. The pork was very thick. Still tasty. I had the tonkotsu and the broth was surprisingly good. Noodles were thin (I prefer medium) they had a good chew and were not over cooked. Enoki chips and Kaarage were good appetizers. The Japanese restaurant that used to be here will be missed. The setting and location are nice. Being in a smaller quiet place compared to Marafuku or Mensho. Similar to Tsuruaya in setting. That said I think I would choose all 3 of those for ramen over this one.

I noticed this compact Japanese spot on Grand Avenue when I was waiting for the bus going the other way. Well, weeks later, I happened to be on Grand in the middle of the week during a light rainstorm. It was early afternoon, and looking for lunch, I was mildly surprised at how busy it was. I managed to score a window seat since it was a table for two. I noticed the manager was being especially conscientious informing customers that there might be a delay in getting their food because they were down a line cook. I honestly couldn't tell because my food was arriving on a timely basis. Perhaps it was because I skipped the ramen and went for a couple of orders of the yakitori. I just would've preferred a bit more char. The eel was tender and moist with a nice crust. Honestly didn't miss the ramen. This place worked out well for our last minute dinner plans. We didn't go for the yakitori options. The ramen was just okay for us. The eggs were overcooked a bit and the overall flavor was typical ramen flavors. The ramen scene is pretty competitive in Bay Area. I'd come back here though if I ever need a quick bite.

DELICIOUS RAMEN AND YAKITORI Tada Ramen has a unique ramen menu along with tasty Yakitori skewers that will delight all Japanese food lovers. You have to try the Yakitori! These skewers are super flavorful and grilled to perfection. We tried the Chicken Thigh, Pork Belly, Bacon Enoki, and Eel. They were all tasty, but my favorite is the Bacon Enoki and the Chicken Thigh. There is a Yuzu ramen on the menu, which I've not ever seen before elsewhere. The broth is very light and it does taste like Yuzu! It was interesting to try, but I prefer the classic Tonkotsu ramen. I like the creamy broth. The ramen is worth getting here; the noodles are pretty tasty. The Ebi Furai Curry has large, crispy shrimp along with Japanese curry served with rice. The shrimp is absolutely delicious. You can tell it's freshly fried by how crunchy it was. The Enoki Chips were also new to me. They are fried mushrooms that make for an addicting snack. For dessert, don't skip the Yuzu cheesecake. Unlike American cheesecake, this one didn't taste too sweet. It was a creamy and light dessert to end the night. The place is pretty small, but cozy. Service is good!

I had the best experience trying the Yakitori for the first time! I ordered a bunch of different yakitori and ate it with a side of rice. Initially I was going to order ramen with a few yakitori, but I'm glad I didn't. Although I like Yuzu/other ramen I wanted to try something new. The Yakitori was more filling than I thought too. Every one of the Yakitori was cooked and seasoned perfectly! My favorites were the Shishito Pepper Bacon, Shiitake Mushroom, Scallop Bacon, Meatball, Unagi, and Pork Belly. Highly recommend these. The Enoki Bacon, Chicken Thigh, & Mochi Bacon were okay. Service was good! There was only one waiter but he was attentive and polite. I loved the decorations in the restaurant as well. Overall, the food, service, and experience were pretty amazing. I will be back soon!

I was craving ramen and we stopped here to eat! I ordered the classic tonkotsu ramen and it was delicious! The broth was flavorful and creamy. What stood out to me the most was that the pork in it had a lot of flavor to it which was great to eat with the noodles. My friend ordered the Karaage chicken bowl and she loved it. The chicken was crispy and she loved the mayo sauce so much that she asked for a bowl of it on the side. We both enjoyed this restaurant and the food here. The service was quick and attentive and not too packed for a small place.

Tada is well-deserving of its high rating! Service was speedy and the restaurant itself was clean and cute. The menu features many different ramen flavors that I haven't seen at other restaurants, and everything we ordered came out fairly quickly and was picturesque. - Corn Ribs: Sweet, smoky, and savory from the parmesan topping. Very insta-worthy but not the easiest or cleanest to eat. - Karaage: The small pieces optimize for maximum crunch. These were well seasoned and so fun to snack on. - Yuzu Ramen: Surprisingly refreshing and not too heavy! The noodles were thin and cooked to perfection and the broth was a nice combination of citrusy and savory. The tempura was also a nice textural contrast with the rest of the bowl.

Located on grand , it can be crappy finding parking on a weekend so I recommend going by the Safeway and just walking down . But if you are coming in the week days you should be fine . Enoki chips were fried mushrooms. I've never had them before and they were flavorful, they have a lemon wedge and some extra optional seasoning which I loved . I got the Tada Men . Tada Men Spicy Ramen at Tada inis outstanding! The rich, spicy broth pairs perfectly with chewy noodles, tender chashu, and fresh toppings. Every bite is flavorful and satisfying, with just the right amount of heat. Great portions, quality ingredients, and a welcoming vibe make it a must-visit for ramen lovers. Service was super quick , and we were able to be seated hella fast .

This place was great! We were lucky to get a seat for 6, but I would imagine we would be that lucky all the time, as the place is quite small. We weren't expecting much because Mensho had a 70 min wait and this place was 5-10min, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The tonkotsu broth was just right, and the egg was amazing. The chashu was pretty good too.

Not a lot of parking or seating, but worth the visit! This is a cute little place with efficient waitstaff that serves up excellent ramen. I came in a group of 6 with reservations and got to try a few of the appetizers (enoki chips, edamame, and corn) in addition to a fantastic spicy vegan ramen. The corn was overly cheesy and salty for my palate, but it was a table hit and they ordered two. I stuck to my spicy vegan ramen, which I'd definitely come back for; the complex and savory broth was far better than the sip of miso ramen I tried. I didn't think that it was too spicy either, but my sinuses told a different tale.

found this place by searching hot and new. I'm always up to try a new Izakaya place. I like this place. It has a very fun quaint Japanese Izakaya ambiance. The staff is so nice! They are so sweet. For skewers, we tried chicken hearts, pork balls, and bacon wrapped mochi, and the eggplant. All of them were very well done except the eggplant was slightly undercooked. But the flavor and grill was good. I appreciate that. The chicken hearts were very well grilled and had the perfect chewy texture. I think the price is also good for the amount that we get. The bacon wrapped mochi was excellent! It's been hard to find a really good one That's comparable to the one at Ippuku. But they do a great job! The bacon was slightly undercooked, but the mochi was very well done. I'm hoping they will add some more skewer types like chicken, skin and chicken shoulder. Those tend to be my favorites. I also tried the veggie Ramen, it was really good! I have never had spinach noodles and they don't have a spinach taste, and I'm happy that they are on the healthier side relatively speaking. The miso broth was light. It was a good portion size. I didn't feel super heavy or bloated like I do normally with tonKatsu Ramen. Come check out this new place! Support local!

Nice clean small establishment, looks like past waiting list posted near door. Easily found seating for lunch. Nice spicy vegan ramen with nice potion of toppings, plenty of heat, decent potion. The enoki chips were tasty but won't be too filling. Non vegan choices enjoyed by dining companion. Friendly service and efficient preparation and delivery. Hope to try other veggies skewers and other vegan soy milk based ramen.

I'm feel like I shouldn't share this hidden gem... it's literally a lovely hole in the wall. Every time we've gone, we've been greeted and seated immediately. Now the food is amazing! The Grilled Corn appetizer is so good! The yakitori selection is delicious. Not overly seasoned! So if you aren't craving ramen, grab a few orders of the yakitori with a side of rice. That will fill you up. I typically do not go to Ramen spots because the broths are always salty to me. To be honest, I came only for the Yakitori. BUT, my husband ordered a ramen and the broth was flavorful! Not salty. And very soothing to the soul. I've been here twice since its opening. And I think I'll become a regular. I've already planned to take my in-laws here when they come to town. So hopefully it stays mildly known so I won't have to wait. But then again... they take reservations :)

Key points: - Good selection - Fun Izakaya vibe with cool posters - Friendly Staff - They got the hits - Una-Ju portioning off. Went in for dinner the other night with some friends. We were seated and served water immediately. We were given adequate time to choose our entrees by the very attentive front end staff. Appetizers were fine. Classic taste and presentation. (Grilled corn and chicken Karaage). The sole order of chicken liver yakitori (my personal gauge for good yakitori) turned out pretty good. 7/10. The Una-Ju entree was another 7/10. The eel was well cooked and seasoned. Good protein portioning. The flavors were there but the ratios were off. A handful of Wakame was placed in the bowl and it overpowered the dish. To me, Una-Ju is rice and eel. The wakame could have been on the side and eaten as desired. Our server was the highlight of the meal. Kudos to that guy. Overall not bad. I would go again, for sure. I just wouldn't get the Unaju.

My friend and I came here on a Friday night and luckily there was no wait as we were both hungry! Things we ordered: *Chicken liver - yummy! *Chicken hearts - overcooked in my opinion *Mochi wrapped bacon - delicious! *I got the tada men - this was delicious! I love me a nice curry and this was delicious. The only note I have is that the steak, while delicious, was a little hard to handle because it was a big cut (a plus), but meant that biting into it was hard to actually manage. That said, this was delicious and I had so much left over that it lasted two more meals! Would absolutely come back!

My boyfriend and I were coming back from Emeryville and I wanted some yakitori. Instead of going to our usual spot I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The inside was very cozy and had the perfect lighting and music. The ladies working in the front were so sweet and offered recommendations. I loved the way they lit up talking about their food and favorite dishes! I would highly recommend this place, everything we got was delicious. I wish I got a picture of the karage ramen.. but everything else I got met my expectations. Honestly flavor, presentation, plating.. amazing. Everything I had was delicious, I have no complaints. These ladies haven't been open long but please support them and try yourself!

Tada Ramen & Yakitori seems to be relatively new based on the number of reviews on Yelp. It's a pretty small, but cute restaurant. It's got a little bar seating area that fits 3-4 people. The rest of the restaurant probably has around 10-12 small tables that can be converted to medium size tables for parties of 3-4 people. Not a whole lot of space, but decent sizing. Decorations are cute, especially the various lanterns and cat posters (love!). We checked in maybe around 6:30ish on a Friday. Tables were 80% filled up, but no wait. There was only one waitress managing all tables, but very efficient, friendly, and quick. The one thing I noticed right off the bat was that small tables weren't spaced apart enough. You can barely squeeze in-between the tables to get into the inner seat. But I suppose it does make it easier to convert small tables to bigger tables for larger parties without creating too much of a disturbance. Between the two of us, we ordered: 1) Grilled Corn Cob - this would have been great, but the menu didn't mention anything about Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it. I wish they mentioned that on the menu for people who do not eat dairy products, but the description only says "spice seasoning". The smell of cheese for me is a little off-putting. I smelled it before I noticed where it was coming from. I ended up finishing the one I started, but the rest was all for my partner as I usually avoid dairy products. 2) Heart (Yakitori) - I thought portion wise was pretty good for price, and while it was not bad, it was a tad too much sauce. I generally prefer just a bit of seasoning I suppose. 3) Combo (Yakitori) - I thought this was a 3 in 1 deal sorta thing, but I only really liked the Unagi of the three ingredients here. The shrimp was a tad overcooked. A little bit of a tougher bite to it. Not tender enough. The scallop was soft, but somewhat bland. I think it lacks that super fresh taste to it. It just wasn't that impressionable. The Unagi though? That was a delicious bite. Soft and juicy. 4) Eggplant (Yakitori) - My favorite! I am a little biased towards vegetables. They can be made so simply and deliciously sometimes and this one was great! Grilled until soft, and it retained it's juiciness! 5) Cha Shu Bowl (my entree) - Hmm, I have mixed feelings about this one. The good parts about this bowl was that they're quite generous with their portions. Four pieces of large Cha Shu. Lots of seaweed salad and salad mix, and egg was perfectly made. Sauce was just enough so that it's not too saucy when mixed, but gives enough flavor. I liked that the Cha Shu wasn't too fatty. A good proportion of fat and lean meat. Buttttttt I just didn't think the ingredients mixed well all together. The sauce goes well with the rice, but the salad itself was bland (I don't think I noticed any dressing, but if there was, I missed it). The seaweed salad by itself is pretty good, but it just doesn't quite mix with anything else in the bowl. It's almost like a Poke Bowl, but not quite either. I'm not sure I really enjoyed my entree. It just seemed like aside from the Cha Shu everything else is simply placed there. 6) My partner got the Yuzu Ramen. He said it was not bad, but doesn't particularly stand out as amazing either. 7) Edamame - Free appetizer with Yelp check-in! We love edamame, so this was a plus for us. It's made perfectly too. Not too soft, but has a nice soft crunch to it. Again, very generous portion wise. I would give Tada Ramen a 3.5 star. I think portion sizing is great here and some menu items are solid. Service was amazing, attentive, and fast. I'm amazed at the waitress, honestly. Unfortunately, what counted against this was the overall experience. At some point during our meal, a couple got seated next to us and one of the them had a bit of a disagreement with the waitress. Something about their mochi not being cooked correctly, and about being gaslighted. It was a bit uncomfortable since we weren't even seated more than two feet apart I would say. It's an intimate setting, but too close for my comfort to other parties. Food was alright. They have a good amount of selection and variety, but the things we got just didn't quite hit the spot for us. We drove a bit of ways to try this place, so although it won't be worth our drive again, it may just be worth yours. Who knows. We might give this place another go if we're around town.

New restaurant with interesting choices for ramen. Boyfriend wanted something "light." He got the tonkotsu ramen and I got Tada Men. We got karaage as an appetizer. Karaage was fresh, juicy and crispy. Big chunks of thigh. Tonkotsu ramen was light with paitan broth and perfectly salted. Boyfriend scarfed this down but wished he could add spicy. They apparently have a Tada spicy ball you can add but we'll try this next time. Tada men was the star of the night. Their version of a northern Thai khao soi. It had a nice kick and super flavorful broth. It actually may be one of the best ones I've had as most places tone down on the flavor profile. The steak was a nice protein to pair with this and I love how they give you lots of crispy noodles. We also were given a dessert to finish off the night. Hojicha panna cotta and omg it surprised us with deep flavors and perfect sweetness (not overly sweet). Love the texture as it was softer almost like a solid pudding. Whatever sauce that goes on it is so good. Highly recommend. Our servers were friendly and attentive. We tried the sparkling drinks and the matcha strawberry is lovely. Yuzu is refreshing. Cute little shop to grab a quick bite or a dinner date.

The bao bun is a really great appetizer. Flavorful and not too filling. I went with the chashu bowl and they provide a hefty amount of chashu pork on top of a fluffy bed of rice. Oh and the soft boiled egg.. perfect.

This location has multiple business before. Finally, Tada's owner has created a great recipe to bring great food to Oakland Grand Ave. As a first timer everything is on point. Appetizer options fit all kinds of customers. We ordered the enoki chips, sweet corn, chicken karaage, and Yakotori. All are very tasty. The chicken karaage is juicy even looks over fried. We have been looking for a place that serves decent yakitori with good selections. Tada has enough choices and does not overwhelm you. The scallop with bacon wrap is our favorite. The scallop is fresh and tender with a twist of bacon fat. The ramen choices are very good and creative. We were too full after all the appetizers and yakitori items so we had to settle a bowl of Tonkatsu. The bone broth is creamy. It hits the spot. Still have a lot to try on the menu. The service is decent given how busy a Friday night. The food came out very fast and hot and servers kept my glass filled with water all the time. We will come back for sure. Great job Tada!!

Great flavors and creative dishes. Skewers were tasty and didn't take forever to serve. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Very small place, but it didn't feel too cramped or packed with too many tables. Great decor with clean and colorful environment. Some of the dishes were pleasantly surprising even though they sounded rather plain.

Me a party of 4 were looking for a ramen night so we decided to try out a new ramen shop in Oakland. We were nicely greeted at the door and then seated immediately. We started off with takoyaki and it was spot on. Hot, fresh, and nicely size octopus inside. I had a Yuzu Ramen with light salt as recommended by my boyfriend. I took the advise and LOVED it. My initial expectation was that the yuzu will stand out like yuzu seltzers, but it was light and yummy. I basically ate the entire bowl. The broth foundation was savory with yuzu aroma. The ramen toppings compliments the broth. Will order this again! I tried my party's ramen and they're amazing as well. The spicy vegan ramen (vegan), tan tan men, and the soy cream zen ramen (vegan). Both the vegan ramens really surprised us, because we're all meat lovers and only a very few moments a vegan dish like this wants to give a thumbs up. Overall ambience is chill. It gives off a neighborhood ramen shop at the block. Customer service is friendly and attentive. Will be returning again to this hidden gem!

Visited this new spot in Oakland for Ramen. It has a cute interior. I came in close to close in hopes to avoid any large crowd. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and after reviewing the menu, I decided on getting the tonkatsu ramen and chicken karaage. Everything was good: food, service, timing and ambiance. I'll be coming back here to try more stuff!

Been walking around here a while waiting for this place to reopen so I could try it. Finally got the chance today and it didn't disappoint. Once you enter, it feels like you're transported to Japan. It's tiny and intimate. We tried most of the Yakitori. Shiitake, Bacon Enoki, chicken skewers, combo skewers (Scallop, unagi, shrimp), Unagi skewers, liver (too bad no chicken heart available). We also ordered Shishito peppers and Ika (I'm surprised with the affordable price!) All of them were roasted to perfection! Everything was tender. I'm not a fan of Enoki mushrooms because most places don't cook it right. This place roasted it very well. The liver had a little crunch outside (probably glazed with Teriyaki sauce) but is nice and tender inside. Don't forget the teriyaki sauce. That one made everything so much better. Service is great! They got all our orders right and made sure they took the plates that we finished. We even got new plates on our second round of orders. I usually keep my mouth shut when I find a good hole in the wall but there's not many great Japanese Izakaya in The Town. Make sure to come early. They get filled for dinner!

This is the second day in a row it was just as good as the first time. We brought the family and they really enjoyed the curry bowl. I didn't get a chance to get a photo of everyone meal because they ate it so quickly and they are really selective. The server was so kind. He checked with the chef to see if I could have my spicy vegan bowl without tofu which I don't eat. He asked did I want to add anything and made sure I was satisfied with the meal. They made my meal perfect. The music was nice and groovy and not too loud. A huge shot out to the server for bringing out my leftovers which I forgot on the table! That was extremely kind of him! We will be back soon!

We were craving for ramen and noticed this new spot so we decided to try and it wasn't disappointing! Everything was so good. My boyfriend LOVED tonkotsu ramen. It was really good and I ordered Tan Tan and I loved it! The spicy level is on point. We also tried their Takoyaki balls. They were perfectly cooked and crunchy. Their Yakitori are yummy too. We ordered Shishito Bacon, Chicken hearts, Everything is so good! My friend ordered chicken curry rice bowl, she also loved it! Service is very friendly and attentive. Everything came out fast and the staff made sure we got everything we needed. The decoration is very cute. I love their Japanese lantern and music is nice too. We'll definitely be back.

Super super solid tonkatsu ramen! I appreciate how hard it is to craft a really great bowl of ramen -- the hours it takes if boiling bone broth to get really deep flavor. Many restaurants fatten up their broths to make them more satisfying, but Tada manages to do a great broth that still feels relatively light. Plus the thin noodles in the broth were cooked to perfection. My dinner companion also enjoyed the spicy vegan ramen! Service was attentive (though we ate on the early side). And ambiance was cute, though the restaurant has a bit of a mixed vibe between being sit down and take out. Overall, I'm really thrilled to have a great new ramen place in the neighborhood that feels lighter and healthier than most other ramen spots! To the Tada team, I am rooting for you!

This place is so good, a quiet little gem on grand. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the portions are large. All the ramen is delicious and the appetizers are well priced and shareable. Get the corn ribs and skewers!

We've ordered "to-go" and to eat there a few times and it's been wonderful every time. All their ramen options are so unique and yet, familiar. The mochi bacon is to die for and the service is wonderful.

Tried this new neighborhood place last week as our regular ramen spot closed down on Piedmont Ave. I was very impressed by this restaurant given that it had just recently opened as most places take some time to fine tune their menu and service. My family ordered shrimp and eel skewers as starters. My child said it was best eel they've ever had. We then had two different ramen selections and I had the karaage curry. It was all very good. My family has been asking for us to go back and I am happy to oblige. Service was also excellent. Quick update: I've been to this restaurant 3 additional times since and every time the food and the service has been excellent. It's got a great neighborhood vibe and is extremely friendly and comfortable for families and kids as well. The hardest thing about any restaurant is consistency. Consistency in the quality of the food and the service. Every time I have gone here, the experience and food has been consistently very, very good.

Stumbled on this place and what a great find. We will be back. We ordered 4 different Ramens and each one was delicious. Also ordered 2 apps and they were delicious. The server was helpful and courteous. Food came out hot and quickly.

The tonkatsu ramen was very good, they give you a chili ball to add spice (fresh) for only $1 extra, fresh ingredients too, they include an egg and 2 generous pieces of pork belly. The price was $19, not bad compared to most others. The lady was sweet as pie, I'd go back just for her service that's what a doll she was. I did like the ramen but I'm more of a pho girl as ramen is too rich to eat regularly. Next time I get a craving for ramen I'll come here. The place that was here previously wasn't great, so Tada is a welcome addition to Grand Ave. The restaurant is small though but I still got a table around 615pm on a Friday evening. Portion size was very generous by the way:)

Just go! This place is a gem. The food is incredible--try everything! The vibe is vibrant, the staff is amazing, and the décor is a feast for the eyes with bold, fun posters. Already planning our next visit!

New favorite spot. I was skeptical to try, but I cannot lie this is such amazing ramen. I ordered takeout and asked for them to make it extra spicy since I'm sick, and they went above and beyond. I have a high spice tolerance and most places besides Noka can never get it right, this place absolutely can and will. There are very few ramen spots I love on the East bay and this is my new fave. The restaurant inside is small, but cozy. Absolutely recommend their tonkotsu extra spicy and chicken karaage.

The Food is so delicious and amazing here! Enoki chips are so so flavorful and the Takoyaki chiefs kiss.

Ramen was yummy! We also tried the hojicha panna cotta dessert, so fire! Not too sweet, just perfect. Definitely will come again.

Delicious! We had their fried chicken appetizer and the tonkatsu ramen and both were excellent. The skewers look amazing and I love the variety on their menu. Definitely putting this place in my regular rotation.

This is a small but delicious yakitori restaurant. The service is quick and the food is so so good! Highly recommend trying the dessert - yuzu cheesecake and hojicha panna cotta!!

Lots of places in the bay that just phone it in with the Vegan/vegetarian ramen options (I'm looking at you, Marufuku.) Tada, thankfully, does not! The spicy vegan ramen has a great variety of toppings (shiitake, corn, bamboo shoots, seaweed, large tofu slices, bean sprouts) and is actually spicy! They put a lot of thought into it and the quality is consistent, def my favorite vegan ramen option in the bay to date. The shop is cute, staff are very nice as well every time I've ordered. Will be coming here regularly

Tonkatsu ramen was really good, broth felt a little lighter but flavorful compared to some other ramen joints. Yuzu ramen was a little salty but also good. I think they're probably still working out some growing pains, but they were apologetic and worked to make things right. Looking forward to trying them again after things settle.

Placed closed for lunch but had no signs or notification it was closed. Person at door said they had some mishap the eve before so can't open for lunch today . Not a great business model and too bad that this place is already turning away customers at the 1st month of opening

Two stars only because our waitress was so kind and sweet and they comped our Apps because of how long we waited. After an hour and a half we left because we were starving and frustrated with how insanely slow the food was taking to come out The back of house clearly has absolutely no idea what they are doing... at multiple points I saw 3 cooks standing around all looking at tickets... No one to call or expedite the orders. One person is tasked with making the Ramen bowls.. I timed it and on average it took two minutes for each serving of noodles to be cooked and they were literally only making one order of Ramen at a time at a Ramen restaurant... one serving of noodles was being cooked at a time... noone else was helping the poor cook prep the ramen bowls, prepare the soup base or do anything that had to do with ramen, each ramen was made by one person one order at a time with no help...... the other 3 people in the kitchen were seemingly only prepping sides and maybe yakitori? What's worse is that there were multiple times with breaks in Ramen cooking because the poor ramen cook had to help scoop rice or do other things.. literally (i swear i am not exaggerating) the entire time we were there 5 bowls of Ramen were served in the restaurant and maybe 8 take out orders of ramen... 13 bowls of Ramen took them over an hour and a half to make...we left after I timed a 15 minute period where i didnt see a single serving of Ramen being cooked or served. I am not blaming the cooks per se and I know it's a new place but JFC whoever manages this place should be embarrassed I observed the kitchen for over an hour and there was clearly no structure, no leader and no plan. Apps: The Karaage was fine, cooked well enough and juicy, a little bland but standard good Karaage Corn: Decent serving size for 8 bucks and the flavor and cook on the corn was good. Ramen: You have as good idea as I do

This place is delicious. They have been open for only a couple of weeks. The negative reviews clearly have little patience for small businesses under immense pressure. The decor is lovely. The food is great. The service is kind. I was there last week and will head there again. Welcome to the neighborhood!
