Tadaima - Review - Cow Hollow - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"The second location of Tadaima is in Cow Hollow (the original is in the Mission) and also serves matcha, onigiri, and Japanese sandwiches. Fillings include chicken karaage, tonkatsu with pineapple, egg salad, and strawberries and cream. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Julia Chen

I’ve been seeing this place all over my feed, so I finally tried it. The Matcha with strawberry cream was amazing, the cream tasted like melted Häagen-Dazs and paired perfectly with the bold matcha. The Chicken Katsu Sando was juicy, crispy, and the mustard tied it all together. When we went, there was a bit of a line. Oddly, it seemed like a friend of one of the owners cut ahead of the people in front of us and got to place their order first, which was a little strange but overall, the food and drinks made the visit worth it.

Google
Really busy and popular spot in the Marina District and I understand why. I got the strawberry matcha and it was everything you’d want from a strawberry matcha! Their menu is also manageable, and not too overstimulating. One thing I dislike, however, is their early closing time.

Google
Fishkatsu: Presentation is 5/5. Taste is mid. (I smelled the fishy smell which means the fish was not fresh. I just came back from Japan, so I can tell the difference). Iced matcha with pistachio cream: taste is as expected, Gen Z would love this.

Google
Tasty Chicken Sando! Small portion for some people but just enough to fill pleasant

Google
On a calm day in San Francisco, I was really craving a matcha, and as this location had just opened I figured it would be a great opportunity to give it a try. The matcha looks great, but the texture is not as good as some other spots. It is rather grainy and leaves a lot of grains in the back of your throat. Because of that, this definitely wouldn’t be my go to for matcha in the area, because of other really good options. However, the redeeming part is their sandos. We tried the fish and perilla sando which was a real stand out and impressed me. Otherwise, this location is beautiful and would be a great place to study.

Google
I love the hojicha and the Japanese sando (sandwich) here!🍵🥰💕

Google
I ordered a drink with no ice and got a cup that was almost half empty

Google
I had the fish sandwich and it was good, though I didn't know that kind of fish it was. It tasted like milk bread. The only downside is the size which is small for the price. The hot black sesame drink was okay. It has good flavor but needs to be a bit hotter.

Yelp
The matcha is amazing here! It was busy in the place but service was quick and they were accommodating when I asked about types of milk. I'd go again!

Yelp
Finally got around to trying Tadaima! I never made it out to their location in the Mission District, simply because I don't frequent that neighborhood as often, and so I was happy to learn that they are now also in the Marina. (I'm sad that the establishment they took over, 7 Tables, is gone, but such is life.) I came on a weekday and shared a strawberry matcha latte and a fruit sando. Both were good, but not amazing. The drink was good for the first few sips, but I realized that I liked the strawberry portion--the matcha part was actually a bit too bitter for my personal preference. (For what it's worth, I've also been making my own matcha at home and it's sort of made it hard for me to appreciate cafe matcha drinks because I've become pickier ) Overall, I'm happy that I tried this place and that I didn't wait in line for hours for it. I would return if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Yelp
I can't say much since I only tried one thing here but from the one thing I've tried it was so good. I got the chicken filet karage sando. It was super fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread was super fluffy and it was surprisingly pretty big. The ratio of everything was perfect and it all worked together super well. I definitely have to come back and try the other stuff when I'm back in San Francisco! The place was super cute inside but wish it was a little cooler. I know it's a little hotter because of the California summer but I got used to it after 5-10 min. If you're looking for a quick bite but want something considerably bigger than a snack, definitely try this place out

Yelp
There was an event when I visited. There was a DJ and the store was packed! Despite the crowd, the long line moved quick. I ordered within 15 mins and got my order within 5 mins. I only ordered a strawberry cream matcha. The matcha was creamy, flavorful, but a bit grainy. The strawberry cream was a bit light in flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the drink. The area can be difficult to park so its unlikely that I go out of my way for it.

Yelp
ALWAYS a go-to for a matcha latte when I'm in the city. I'd put Tadaima in my top 2. I usually don't get any cream unless I'm feeling a heavier drink, so I default to a standard iced matcha latte and it still hits every time: strong matcha flavor, reasonably sweet, and no bitter aftertaste. I've also tried sips of the strawberry cream + salted cheese cream matcha lattes and both were good if you like those flavors because the matcha flavor is still present.

Yelp
Love love love!!! I was apprehensive given the low and mixed Yelp rating but decided to give it a try nevertheless; so glad I did!! It's one of the best strawberry matchas I've had - where I can truly taste the matcha, strawberry and light creaminess in harmony!! I noticed some reviewers stated they couldn't taste the strawberry or matcha and some said it was too sweet so I ordered straight iced matcha, no sweetness and added strawberry cream foam - for me, it was perfect! Admittedly, I'm pretty snobby about my matcha and prefer it single cultivar, straight up. I hate it when it's drowned in milk, syrup or preserves and I cry a little for the high grade matcha that should have been enjoyed without superficial pageantry - but that's risky when the quality of the matcha is uncertain. The matcha quality tasted great so I'm looking forward to trying it neat next time. I also got the potato salad egg sandwich - YUMMMMMMMM!! Very good!! Reminded me of Japan! The bread was a little dry though (my order was around 2pm on Saturday). The line up was minimal, service was fast. Shop is smallish with some seating. Parking is marina-street so good luck and plan ahead. No complaints, adding this to my regular Marina stop for sure! Loved it!!

Yelp
On a quest to find the strongest matcha latte and the strawberry cream matcha here lands somewhere in the middle. I was shocked to see matcha being squirted out from condiment bottles and my friend said she saw the staff blending the matcha in the back. Generally creams are the foam cream on top but their strawberry cream is liquid and completely disappeared in the drink when I checked on my order. It would taste a lot better as a heavy cream foam top so the strawberry flavor doesn't get drowned in the matcha.

Yelp
Modern & Clean environment but limited seating so it can get busy very fast. I went on Labor Day & was lucky to land a parking spot down the street. Orders: Matcha Latte-robust matcha powder that are this drink a delight. Matcha Strawberry Latte- consisted of the same quality matcha powder as in the matcha Latte but with strawberry preserves. When stirred this drink was well curated. Will have to try their food menu next time I visit.

Yelp
I've been so excited to try their Japanese milk bread sandos! I ordered the chicken karaage but I think they accidentally gave me the fish. It was still very delicious so I wasn't upset at all. I definitely want to come back and try one of their sweet options. I also tried their strawberry cream matcha with coconut milk- it was yummy but I'd probs ask for no syrup pumps moving forward.
google avatar

Yelp
I had high hopes for this spot because I've seen so many people talk about it. To me, the drink was just okay. The service was friendly. Parking on Union street is always a little tricky so be prepared to look for parking. They have a couple seats and tables on the inside. I ordered the strawberry matcha and I found the strawberry flavor to be really lacking. The foam on top is good but the flavor doesn't last long. The matcha itself wasn't very strong in my opinion. I want to give this place another try in the future. Maybe I'll try a different matcha.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try Tadaima for the longest time and am happy I did! Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream Top (3.5/5) - The presentation was really pretty, but it was nothing special, matcha could have been stronger Strawberry Sando (5/5) - This was so nice and decadent and sort of melts in your mouth! One of the best sandos I've had

Yelp
Stopped by at 11am on a Saturday and then came back again later at 1pm to try another drink. Both times there was almost no one in line. Waited around 5 minutes for our drinks. There are maybe 5-6 tables inside and some window stools. The first time I visited, I tried the Hojicha latte. It was tasty! It was not overly sweet, especially if you let the ice melt. It reminded me of the Hojicha you can get in LA, or Maruwu Seicha. The second time, my wife got the Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream. This was also really good. The strawberry was prominent, while you can still taste the matcha. It tasted similar to a Pocky but not overly sweet at all.
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Excellent matcha, I ordered the strawberry cream matcha. I do wish they added more strawberry cream, it was a bit sparse, and the strawberry flavor didn't come through as much. Service is excellent and quick, and the matcha tasted high quality. Looking forward to trying their sandwiches next time, the menu looks enticing!

Yelp
Get ready for a long line! Including waiting in line and got my drink, it probably took around 10-15mins. It was totally worth it though! I wanted to try their Hojicha Latte with salted cheese. I usually prefer to get Hojicha latte over matcha due to my standards for matcha. The Hojicha latte comes with whole milk so I changed it to oatmilk for my own preference. I had it less sweet and less ice. This made my drink pretty strong and not sweet if anyone prefers that. The hojicha was pretty strong itself so I couldn't really taste the salted cheese as much but there was a hint there after a few sips. A saw a lot of people order matcha latte so I might give it a try next time I go back. I haven't had a chance to try their snacks too so I will definitely try next time! Theres a few tables and seats in there and a few out doors so it can get pack while waiting for your order.

Yelp
I had high expectations for Tadaima but thought it was just okay. As a matcha enthusiast, I thought it was good for what it is but nothing outstanding. Much similar matcha in the South Bay as well. I got the matcha latte with strawberry cream and it was a solid 3.5/5. Loved the creamy aspect of the strawberry cream with the matcha but after the initial first few sips, it doesn't mix well nor does it taste the best as the matcha latte tastes overly bitter. Not sure how to explain but the matcha was grainy and extremely bitter and the cream did not mix well so it just tasted overall bad after the initial few sips. I also got the tonkatsu with pineapple sando and it was a 3.5/5 for me. The tonkatsu itself had rough pieces and the pineapple was cut too thick for my liking. Surprisingly was dry despite the tonkatsu sauce. Overall, I think personally this place is overhyped. It was still a nice experience and worth it as there wasn't a line when I went but not worth the trip or standing in line for me personally.

Yelp
Tadaima is matcha heaven! I got the matcha latte with strawberry cream, and wow -- it was perfection in a cup. The matcha was rich and earthy without being bitter, and the strawberry cream added this dreamy sweetness that balanced everything out beautifully. The presentation was gorgeous -- layered so perfectly that I almost didn't want to stir it (but I did, and it tasted even better!). You can tell they use high-quality matcha, and the flavor really shines. The shop itself has such a cozy, modern vibe -- clean lines, warm lighting, and a calm energy that makes you want to stay and sip slowly. The staff was friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about what they serve. If you love matcha or just want a drink that's as Instagram-worthy as it is delicious, Tadaima is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu!

Yelp
7/19/25 - I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and one just opened in the Marina! I didn't enjoy the Kinako Latte as much as I thought since I think it was too much peanut powder flavor to me. I do like Kinako, but I'm small doses. I'll try the matcha drinks next time! The Shrimp Sando was so good omg! We saved it to eat after a concert we went to and it was still as amazing as when we first bought it! The sauce and seasoning were really amazing! One thing my boyfriend and I agreed on is that they are a bit pricey, but we still enjoyed the Sando and he loved his strawberry matcha drink!

Yelp
I wanted to like Tadaima so much but was unfortunately disappointed :( We were very excited for the fruit sando and I wanted to try a matcha. Will start off with the positive: the salted cream matcha was amazing, very strong matcha and the cream cuts the strength very well! Will definitely be back for that! The disappointing one: the fruit sando, it was way too much cream for very little fruit. I'm glad we got the assorted fruit one for some variety in fruit but would've liked a lot more fruit than cream. Maybe next time :(

Yelp
I'm never usually in this area, so when I realized I was dropping off my foster to someone here, I said I must go on a foodie adventure! Sadly this place was MEH. I ordered shrimp tempura sando - this was MEH, it was dry, could have definitely used more sauce. that's why I'm surprised less sauce was an option. nothing special. onigiris - snow crab and yuzu salmon. this was pretty tasty, well filled and plump! I didn't order any drinks this time around. I would give them another try as a friend said to try their chicken karaage sando. It wasn't busy around 1p on a friday surprisingly. Kinda funny, when you pick up an order you already paid for online, they need a signature and there's a line for additional tip!

Yelp
Had a laughable, peak Marina prentiousness experience here. Ordered a Strawberry cream top matcha and was told in a snotty tone by the white girl behind the counter that I should drink my drink as is when I asked for a straw or a stirrer. Take a look at my photo. With cream top boba, one suggested way of drinking is by sipping so you get cream and drink HOWEVER when you haven't mixed my matcha shot with the milk, this method of drinking my drink makes no sense. B/c im going to get weird uneven layers of matcha and milk, like seriously wtf. --- Anyways if youre going to whitesplain boba to me, please educate your staff properly. Also dont tell me how to drink my drink, its nice when different methods of enjoying things from other cultures are explained in a nice manner but not when its being appropriated to gate keep or belittle... Tadaima is what you say when you've arrived home in Japanese, I DEFINITELY did not feel at home. -- Also the matcha was okay. Not awful but slightly oxidized. And the strawberry cream top was too sweet. They also normally add 3 pumps of sugar syrup which is too much so def a place for white people.
google avatar

Yelp
Tadaima is a hidden gem in the Marina and totally blew me away. I'm still thinking about the matcha--truly the best I've ever had. Smooth, rich, not too bitter, and frothed to perfection. We tried two onigillys (crab and curry), both super flavorful with great texture. For sandwiches, we got the shio fish and katsu--both were fresh, well-balanced, and satisfying without feeling heavy. The space is minimal and calming, and service was friendly and quick. Can't wait to come back for another matcha fix and work my way through the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Tried this spot as i was in the SF area and saw good reviews. I went close to 5 PM so there was no wait but it was a full house inside. got my drink pretty quick first of all their matcha is premade and squeezed out from a bottle instead of whisked on the spot. i was rlly disappointed when i got my drink. it was the grainiest matcha i've purchased from a cafe and it was also on the milkier side. i barely finished half of it and couldn't drink it anymore. not sure if the other location is better
google avatar

Catherine G.

Yelp
There was a pretty long line that went out the door and it did not move very fast. Not too many tables indoors but there is a clean and calming atmosphere inside. I ordered the matcha latte with strawberry cream and I loved it! The matcha was strong and the combination of the cream and matcha wasn't overly sweet or bitter. Just right and definitely hit the spot!
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
came during this location's opening week with 15% off. I loved 6 tables and wish they kept that instead, since tadaima already has a mission location we tried the hojicha latte w salted cheese cream ($7.25) and matcha latte w strawberry cream ($7.50), and while I did like the strength of the hojicha and matcha, I thought they were too sweet, even after asking for half sweet for both drinks--I can't imagine how sweet they would be full sweetness :o

Yelp
I had high expectations before coming in since it was all over social media, so I knew I had to give it a try. It's located on Union St and is one my favorite locations in the city due to the number of cool shops and restaurants. It's very spacious inside with lots of tables available but majority of them were already taken when we arrived just close to noon on a Thursday. My friend and I both ordered a Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream and it was a bit disappointing. We noticed that the cream sinked to the bottom, and I could taste the matcha powder after every sip. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed that the barista used the blender to mix the matcha powder with the water, instead of using a frother. It was then poured into a squirt bottle. That was something new that I have never seen before and didn't like. Matcha powder needs to be frothed/whisked in my opinion. I'm sad to say that I will not be coming back for their matchas, especially since the drink was almost $9. I do expect the drink to be higher quality if I am paying that much. I hope they can work on changing their method of making drinks for future customers.

Yelp
Food Rating: 8 Price: 8 Ambiance/Service: 10 Overall Rating: 8.5 Iced Matcha Latte w/ Strawberry Cream ($7.50) Rating (9.5/10) The matcha was pretty close to perfect. The matcha was rich and well-balanced, with only a slight grainy texture. The strawberry cream was delicious, and not too sweet. Strawberry & Cream Sando ($12.00) Rating (6/10) Looks delicious but the taste didn't quite match the look. The strawberries were super fresh, but the bread was too thick and bland Onigiri (2 pc minimum - $6.00 / piece) - Yuzu Salmon - Miso Snow Crab Rating (8/10) The onigiris were well made, and held together perfectly. I personally liked the yuzu salmon one better and thought the miso snow crab was a bit bland. [don't think they have WiFi but I saw a few plugs for laptop charging]

Yelp
I saw this place on social media and planned to give it a try when I was in SF. I ordered the original Matcha Latte, Strawberry Sando, and an Unagi Avocado Egg rice ball. It was a cute store with friendly vibes. The service was quick as the drink came out first. The taste was nicely balanced between sweetness and bitterness. We enjoyed it after a day of walking that I decided to get another drink. This time, we tried the Matcha with strawberry foam. The freeze-dried strawberry bits were a nice touch. The rice ball was warm and tasty, and the sando was great to have afterward. It was super filling--we couldn't even finish it between the two of us. I'll definitely be back when I have the chance!

Yelp
Tadaima is such a lovely addition to the neighborhood! My spouse and I shared the Chicken Katsu Sando, and it was so satisfying. The sandwich was super filling, packed with flavor, and the bread was soft and pillowy...absolutely delicious! We also got a hot matcha latte, and it was just what I needed. Not too sweet (which I appreciated!), smooth, and warming, like a cozy hug in a cup. The cafe has a minimalist, clean design that feels calming even when it's busy and it was busy when we went. The place was packed, but it never felt chaotic. The staff were really friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations without rushing anyone.I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more from their menu. So glad Tadaima is here, definitely a new go-to in the area!

Yelp
Finally got to try this place at their new location. Ordered the Chicken Filet Karage, Fish Katsu with Shiso, a few Spam Musubis, the Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream, and the Kinako Cream Latte. Placed an online pickup order and everything was ready when we got there. The sandwiches were tasty with crispy and flavorful fillings, but the bread was soft and didn't hold up well so a bit messy to eat. The spam musubis were just okay, very rice heavy. The drinks were good! I liked that the strawberry cream paired well with the matcha. The matcha flavor was there, not my preference but I still enjoyed it. The kinako cream latte was interesting, it reminded us a little of black sesame. I wasn't a fan but my bf said it grew on him and he ended up liking it. Overall, a solid spot with a good variety of menu items. I would return to try the other sandos and drinks.
google avatar

Sonia O.

Yelp
The only reason why I give it four stars was because of the service, they could be a little more welcoming. The overall location is nice, clean and cozy with very clean restroom. The sandwiches were very delicious, fresh and flavorful! The bread was super soft and easy to bite into. We ordered the iced strawberry matcha and it's super delicious and creamy with the perfect balance of both earthy and sweet. Definitely worth going to give a try can't wait to go back

Yelp
Came here during their soft opening on Sunday. This was my second time at Tadaima, the first being at their other location. I loved it the first time and this time was no different! I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte this time, and it was delicious. They definitely don't skimp out on the matcha here. It was strong, and I could definitely taste the matcha. I love when I can taste the matcha more than the milk. Staff was very friendly. Maybe because it was their soft opening but there was no wait, which I was pleasantly surprised by. We ordered and got our drinks within 5 minutes. Super quick. This location is bigger than the other one with more tables and chairs, so it's a good spot to sit, hang out, and enjoy.

Yelp
Tadaima is the perfect addition to Union St! I came by on the 3rd day of their soft opening and had a great experience. Food: We ordered the Chicken Filet Karage sando, Shrimp Tempura sando, and the Iced Matcha Latte with Strawberry Cream Both of the sandos were delicious - they've found a great balance between softness and sturdiness. The chicken karage was moist and flavorful and the shrimp tempura was crispy and balanced perfectly by the green onion. One thing about this place - the portions are no joke. From the sandos to the musubis, sizing is generous. I absolutely LOVED the matcha latte with strawberry cream. My biggest gripes with other matcha places is watery matcha or chunks of strawberry jam at the bottom of my cup - this was absolutely not the case at Tadaima. The matcha was strong and smooth and the strawberry cream added the perfect strawberry flavor without any of the clumpiness. Service - super friendly! Ambiance - beautiful. The attention to detail is great. From the heart shaped straws, to the rock sugar sticks for coffee, you can tell there has been a lot of thoughtful care put into this place. There's a couple kinks I think that could be worked out before the full opening: the buzzer system is a little confusing (our buzzer went off once for our drink and we weren't sure if we were supposed to hold onto it/if it would buzz again for our food) and although they weren't busy, it took about 20 minutes for us to get our sandwiches. However, again, it was only the 3rd day of their soft opening and they absolutely deserve the grace as they're getting up and running. We'll be back!
google avatar

Julia S.

Yelp
Interesting place... I ordered the black sesame latte and an egg/potato sandwich. The former was very good and I would definitely order again. The latter was okay; don't think I would order again, especially because it was impossibly messy to eat. I'd be down to try a sweet sandwich or one of their other drinks... the interior could use some warmth and more trash cans.

Yelp
there was a long line when we arrived, but it went by really quick. we didn't know that it was sister brands with okaeri (right next door) and we're excited to try it! the play on words is so cute! we got a kinako cream latte and chicken karage sandwich and both were very good!! the sauce on the sandwich was yummy and satisfied the both of us after a day of not eating. thank u for having us!

Yelp

Yelp
I love this local spot. The line can get long but you can also order your drink online. Lately, I've been ordered the Kinako Cream Latte. I think it's better warm but iced is still good. It has a more nutty taste and has a thicker consistency. Service is usually quick for a spot that can get busy.

Yelp
Tadaima opened in the neighborhood of the Mission in San Francisco a year ago. It became the popular matcha spot in the Mission but with limited seating so I would go enjoy at the nearby Mission Playground Park ( my childhood summertime stomping grounds) on Valencia street. In June of 2025 Tadaima open its second location in Cow Hollow in San Francisco. The Taidaima Marina location is a bigger venue with more tables and it's located on Union street between Laguna ( not the beach) and Octavia. I usually get the Matcha with salted cream cheese along with the strawberry and cream Sando. I first got shrimp tempura sandwich which savory with a crunch but the bread was very soft. I then got a pleasant surprise by getting the Mango and cream sandwich. The mango was so juicy and the cream was not too sweet and the bread was like pillows and I am still day dreaming about this Mango cream sandwich. If you take the Sando to go to Crissy Field beach on a windy day watch out for the extra sand on the Sando from Taidaima. Grab an Americano coffee or a Dirty Matcha Cream Latte at Tadaima Marina if you feeling groggy and if you want something light to eat grab a musubi with avocado, egg, spam and unagi Taidaima house sauce does not make the sandos soggy then visit Crissy Field or the Presidio to see the view of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge during the Summer of Love even when it's foggy
google avatar

Serena M.

Yelp
I was very excited that a new Tadaima location opened and from what I have seen, this one seems to have shorter lines than the Mission one. The matcha itself hasn't blown me away (and the strawberry cream tastes a bit artificial to me), but I have really enjoyed the iced hojicha with salted cheese foam. The onigiris are solid, but I wish you didn't have to order 2. The fruit sandwich was heavier than I had expected with cakey bread and a lot of cream, but the mango was perfectly ripe. The inside has some seating, but it gets noisy. Overall, happy to have them in the area!

Yelp
Good matcha lattes that aren't very sweet! Got a standard iced matcha ($7.06 with tax) and was fully prepared for it to be too sweet, but it was anything but! I was actually pretty surprised that the sweetness level was perfect. I also thought there was a line Friday afternoon, but it was just a crowd of teens waiting around the door with their drinks already in hand. I was able to walk right in and place my order. Drinks also came out pretty quickly. If you're looking for a seat and to hang out for a while, it might be a bit tricky as I thought it was quite packed inside and outside. However, it's great for grab and go.

Yelp
very delicious matcha! the strawberry matcha is incredible at tadaima and the matcha quality is very high. service is nice and there are some limited indoor seats. ambiance is overall pretty good. however, i would probably not recommend the food at tadaima - it's all quite normal and i would say that you can skip it. the fruit sando is very overpriced for what it is, and the spam isn't too special. overall, i would highly recommend tadaima for the matcha!

Yelp
I got the matcha latte with oat milk and the chicken sando. Overall everything was just okay. The sando's flavor was mostly from the mustard. What I had a problem with was it was messy to eat because of the lettuce, which was saturated in mustard and the chicken's skin was chewy, leading the chicken to break apart and add to the messiness of the sando. The matcha latte was disappointing. It didn't taste like much. I also found the music that was playing a bit too loud. I know this place is popular due to IG and TikTok, but other than posting it to your feed, there are better places to get a better matcha and sandos.

Yelp
SOOOO GOOD!! I asked the woman taking my order what her favorite drink is and she said strawberry matcha... so I got it. Did not disappoint!! Probably my top or second top favorite matcha in SF! the strawberry flavor was very prominent and matcha was excellent quality! The cafe was also adorable and everyone was super nice and efficient:) can't wait to come back!

Yelp
My personal favorites are the strawberry & cream matcha or hojicha if I want less caffeine. I can't resist adding a yummy sweet and/or savory sando when I go! I love the salmon onigiri for a light healthy snack or lunch. Everything tastes fresh and not overly sweet. Service has always been good and efficient. Very chill ambiance.

Yelp
First impression/trying - FINALLY went after seeing it all over my timeline and everybody I follow post about it. The Mission location was closed, so I went here. This review is solely based on the Strawberry Cream Matcha. It was great. They have options for alternative milks, but it's an additional $0.75, so I stuck to their original base. Whatever it is, even if it was whole milk, it was good. The matcha had the right amount of flavor and creaminess from the milk, so it didn't taste blandish or watery. No chunks of un-dissolved matcha powder. The strawberry cream was delightful with little freeze dried strawberry bits too. Will definitely be back to try more drinks along with their food items as well, and the Mission location also. Probably my favorite matcha spot that I've done a REVIEW for so far. They have a nice bathroom too, aside from the paper towel mess on the floor that no one cleaned up, but they were getting ready to close anyway.

Yelp
I went on a weekend and an hr before closing. There was no line and they were quick on the making the orders. The strawberry sando was better than the peach. Matcha was good too.

Yelp
Fabulous new place on Union Street in the Cow Hollow neighborhood! Great for getting a quick bite/drink to go or eat at one of the cafe type tables inside. There was a generous amount of stuffing inside the onigiri --I recommend the snow crab! Be prepared to wait for about 10 minutes for your food order because I think it's freshly made. Looking forward to getting the fruit cream sandwich next time I visit.

Yelp
Tadaima in the Marina is a great little spot and overall I'd give it a solid 4 stars. I tried the pistachio cream top matcha and the fish katsu sandwich. The matcha was smooth and earthy with just the right amount of sweetness from the pistachio cream, and the sandwich was crispy, flavorful, and really satisfying. The only downside is that it's definitely a bit pricey for what it is, and the sandwich doesn't hold up well if you don't eat it right away -- it starts to get soggy pretty quickly. On the plus side, service was impressively fast -- everything came out within just a few minutes. The space itself is bright, clean, and modern, with a casual grab-and-go vibe that fits well for the neighborhood. All in all, a tasty and convenient stop, especially if you're craving something quick but a little elevated.

Yelp
I was so happy to have found a closer location after trying the Tadaima in the mission! However, it didn't quite live up to the hype this time. The matcha strawberry crème latte was a bit watered down and still had clumps of matcha not incorporated. The mixed fruit crème sandwich was quite refreshing though.
