Taffer's Tavern Alpharetta

LOVED this dinner. Not only was the food amazing (pretzel + truffle flatbread) and the drinks an experience (the “Campfire”), but the staff was superior! Every single person we saw smiled, was friendly, and checked on us through the night, from the host to the bartender and server. This meant a lot, since we have an energetic 9 month old. Special shout out to the busser Renny who repeatedly picked up our daughter’s toys before we could get to them and made sure we had everything we needed. He even held the door for us when we left. As an already a huge Bar Rescue fan, this place will be my recommended must to everyone I know if you’re in the greater ATL area. Delicious, beautiful, and yet still kid-friendly. 12/10.

So, been on a lookout for another 5 Star place worth your time and money for the last month. I'm happy to say, Taffer's Tavern is definitely one of those places. Personally, I love Jon Taffer and everything his brand stands for in the communities and businesses he helps. This is his first location in Metro-Atlanta, with another Taffer's Tavern opening this year in Midtown. Will be there as well. As for this location, me and a friend sat at the bar with Ty tending the bar during the late lunch hours. The atmosphere is comfortable and professional. The staff were all great, food was on point, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality you receive. All in all, we had the Pork Belly and some Truffle Fries to start. Got a Smoked Old Fashioned, some beers, Tavern Burger and the Roast Beef sandwich. Check out the pics of the place and the food in the review. Can't wait to be back :)

It was me and my friends last night in Georgia and we stopped here for our last meal before we parted ways. The tavern burger was delicious so was the cloud 9. Nick are server was also amazing he went above and beyond to make our night memorable. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm visiting.

Expectation was definitely met here. Our server was nice, not overwhelming, the manager stopped by to check on us too. Food was presented beautifully, clean and good portions. The jalapeño poppers had prefecture cooked bacon wrapped around them, they were not overly spicy and the cream cheese was well balanced. I got the fish and chips which were wonderful. The white fish inside was glistening and the batter was well seasoned. I wish it came with more of the coleslaw which was delicious. The fries had nice herbed seasonings and did not lack salt. My husband had the braised short ribs which were very tender and the sauce was good, but we both wish the flavor was a little bit stronger. Green beans and mashed red potatoes were good. Restrooms were very clean and nice.

The food was delicious - we ordered the jalapeño poppers, fish & chips, the lobster roll, and side of tavern “truffle” fries. Even just the truffle fries alone were worth visiting for. Perfect portions and flavorful dishes for a great lunch out.

During our first visit to Taffer’s Tavern, we had the pleasure of being served by Ashlyn, who was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the drinks and the food, and her descriptions of the menu were spot on. She was attentive throughout our meal and really elevated our experience. We’ve always loved watching Jon Taffer on Bar Rescue, so it was such a treat to finally stop in while on vacation. My husband and I both agreed—we’ll definitely be back! We started with the Taffer’s Tasters, and the Tropical Bliss cocktail quickly became our favorite. For my entrée, I enjoyed the braised ribs topped with a rich demi-glace—absolutely delicious. The green beans were the best I’ve ever had anywhere! My husband loved the roast beef handheld, especially with the perfectly paired au jus—it was out of this world. For dessert, we couldn’t resist sharing both the chocolate molten cake and the milk and cookies. Both were decadent, fun, and truly to die for. From start to finish, our visit was fantastic—great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Yum! We can’t wait to come back.

This place is a lot of fun with good food and even better service. If you go in, be sure to ask for Nyasia. The cocktails are creative and served with an ambiance that creates an entertaining environment for all. The menu is creative with a lot of crowd favorites. This place gives off speak easy meets classy cocktail bar vibes. We even built a little campfire at our table this evening thanks to our wonderful server Nyasia. We’ll definitely be back and will make sure Nyasia is the one taking care of us. Already looking forward to next time.
