This is a very cute corner breakfast spot in a nice neighborhood. I like supporting new, small businesses, especially when the owners are so nice & pleasant. Food has been good every time I’ve been here. Had the brioche French toast first time I was here and it was great. Today I opted for a lighter, more traditional breakfast and it did not disappoint! Eggs cooked well and thick cut bacon was crispy. The smashed breakfast potatoes were crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside and seasoned perfectly. The also have salt water taffy on the bar because one of the owners is Taffi!

Tried Taffi’s at noon on a Saturday since we were on the hunt for chicken & waffles, and Four Chairs was way too stuffy with a >1 hour wait, while The Front Porch’s version of the dish has been too dry. Taffi’s had no wait and did not disappoint—waffle was crunchy on the top and moist on the inside. Lightly sweet such that it could be enjoyed without the warm maple syrup. Chicken was well seasoned and perfectly crunchy, but not at all greasy. Generous portion too—3 pieces that amounted to half a Cornish game hen-sized chicken. We also got the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Our server (who we later learned was Taffi herself!) kindly let us swap out the dairy (cheese + crema) with avocados. Only critique was that the potatoes in the burrito may have tasted better a little less charred (tho some char is 👌) and cut smaller for more even distribution. Might also be fun to have extra salsa on the side, though the hot sauce options on the tables worked in a pinch. Bonuses: the cafe gets amazing natural lighting with a lovely view of Bernal and strikes a great balance of being cozy but not stuffy thanks to its open windows; the servers were super attentive, going so far as to rearrange the tables for a walk-in with a party of 7; bathroom was clean with good soap and strong water pressure 😂👍; and dogs seem to be allowed inside. Great neighborhood spot for an unplanned, relaxing brunch!

For a while I have been wanting to try out Taffi's cafe, I finally had the opportunity today to try it as I was working in the area not too far from the restaurant. I came in and was greeted by the owner Jimmy. What a nice guy. He recommended some specials they have on their menu but what stood out to me was the section for the hamburgers they have smash burgers. I don't know about you but I love me a good hamburger let alone a smashburger. I opted for the standard smashburger which was a double patty with tomato lettuce bun and special sauce I added bacon and grilled onions burger comes with fries. I added an Oreo milkshake as well. First off the burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful It had a wonderful crisp on the patty the bacon was really good as well as the grilled onions. The burger itself was a very good portion I had trouble finishing it. The oreo milkshake was thick made with real ice cream and paired perfectly with the burger. I was very satisfied with my first visit to Taffi's Cafe. The inside of the restaurant is relatively small but it has a very nice homey local feel to it. When I'm in the area I will definitely be back to get another smashburger or try something else off their menu. Keep up the great work!!

Food and service was no good at all. The fried chicken my son ordered was over cooked and tasted like cooking oil. The breakfast burrito had a weird taste. The other breakfast plate my wife ordered wasn’t made right she only took a few bites and left it there. Won’t be back

Google
So Taffi's in the same spot where Toast Eatery once stood. Toasty's jad great breakfast, but Taffi's is even better!!! Every dish is much more refined and still very reasonably priced. I've found my new neighborhood breakfast haunt!

Google
Do yourself a favor and get the baklava pancakes (or waffles). Undoubtedly, one of the best things I've ever had in my entire life. Very sweet and unique flavors. I will be going back for the smash burgers and chilaquiles... honestly, I want to try everything on the menu.

Taffi’s is great! We had pancakes, eggs, potatoes, bacon, fresh orange juice, coffee & tea. Everything was of excellent quality, service was top notch and they also don’t add a bunch of fees to the bill. They did a nice job with the interior by creating the living plant wall. We will be back!

Yelp
Taffi's at the corner of Day Street and Church is a new delish breakfast/lunch place in Noe Valley. Light and bright interior with a few tables outside on the sidewalk. They make the best eggs Benedict...eggs poached just right with a scrumptious lemony hollandaise, with just a hint of heat and they put it on ciabatta bread. So much better than an English muffin. The owners, Jimmy and Taffi are wonderful, friendly hosts. Just a great couple. And Andres, server, is so accommodating and friendly. I always come for breakfast, but friends tell me their patty melt is to die for. So I will be back for lunch soon. This restaurant deserves your patronage. They work hard to make your experience a delightful one...and they do just that!!!

Yelp
Do not waste your money here. Food is horrible. Latte was decent, lemonade was great, fruit was good Wait time to receive overly cooked burnt food 45 mins and we were the second set of customers. One customer at the bar already been served. Ambiance there dying plants on the wall which tells me no one cares for them. The waiter did not even come over that he was leaving for the day and that another person was taking over. The waitress did not introduce herself and when I asked for the check at the counter no ask if the food was any good. Do not spend your money here. I drove all the way from Eastbay thinking Toast still existed but it does not and we tried this cafe and not worth it.

Yelp
I mourned the sudden passing of 'Toast' in this location, but like others, I'm REALLY glad these guys have opened up. I just had their Bacon/Avocado eggs Benedict and highly suggest you try it out. The dish was tasty and creative. Service was excellent. I'm looking forward to trying them out for lunch.

Yelp
I almost didn't write this review because I want this place to be a secret. We had a wonderful breakfast there. I had eggs Benedict with bacon and a side salad. It was served on brioche bread with slices of thick cut bacon, avocado and tomato. The hollandaise sauce was homemade with just the right amount of lemon. My husband had eggs with corned beef that was from a real cut of beef, not canned. He loved his meal as well. Service was friendly and attentive. This is definitely a must try! I know I will be back.

Yelp
Really good chilaquiles with chorizo. Also very good burger and fries. Everything seemed very clean too. Will be back.

Yelp
Service was so attentive and responsive. I came in for a late lunch and ordered the Reuben sandwich. Solid Reuben nothing to write home about but solid. Looking forward to trying their breakfast items. The space isn't huge so I bet they'll have lines for brunch on weekends.

Yelp
Very friendly but acai bowl was mediocre. I'll try the pancakes next time. They said they would be on DoorDash soon. Until then, you can call them to order ahead if you want to take something to go.

Yelp
Food was amazing ! If I could rate above 5 stars I definitely would! Everything tasted so fresh and the service was amazing, the server was very attentive and kept checking in on us. The chef that was working there on 2/28/25 between 11-12:30pm was outstanding! The flavor on the food was just over the top. The restaurant looks very neat and well kept even the restroom was so clean ! I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Yelp
My newest go to spot. I discovered this unkown jem while walking down church. The atmosphere looked so inviting I stopped in. The food was delicious and the service exceptional. Food came out fast and was plated beautifully. I recommend the Brioche French Toast or the Huevos Ahogados. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Had a nice quick lunch a few days ago - sat inside. Could not help but catch a whiff of some strong scent from the bathroom, like a disinfectant. Could use a better air fan as it was really noticeable. Ordered the Reuben sandwich on really nice marbled bread - one bite was good. Second bite I found a very long hair. Did not eat that part, but finished the rest of it. Maybe some hair nets for the staff? The hot tea came in a cup with a saying that we thought was really cute. Our lone waiter was most attentive and friendly. Loved the green wall with all the plants. We do want to wish them good luck as it's a great location and neighborhood hangout.

Yelp
Wow, the breakfast at Taffi's Cafe was delicious. A salad for breakfast is one of my favorite things. The food was fresh and substantial, the music was pleasant, and the service was friendly. Can't wait to return.

Yelp
Just had a great lunch at Taffi's. Delicious food, super friendly service. Very welcome addition to Noe Valley for breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and the owner took time to say hi and make me feel welcome. I have never met a more beautiful and charming woman as Taffi. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Everyone who has a chance should come by and visit this cafe.ot was the best cafe I have ever eaten at .

Yelp
When Toast suddenly closed on Church St., the neighborhood went into mourning, Taffi's just opened in their place with food and service that equals, if not surpasses, their predecessor. Even in their first week, they hit the ground running, with no signs of opening-night jitters. The menu is similar to Toast, with old favorites like Reubens and Chicken Fried Steak. Delicious crispy twice-cooked potatoes and homemade jam accompany the omelets and scrambles, and the portions are as generous as the price is reasonable. There's an abundance of friendly help for such a small space, and service was efficient. My only complaint (not worth a star) is the flowery infusion that passes for black tea. It tastes like the 80s by itself and ruins an Arnold Palmer.
