What a lovely Anniversary dinner! The Rack of Lamb was simply amazing, as were the Pork Chops! They also have an excellent wine list! Raul is a great waiter!

My family and I dined here after attending a musical show downtown. It’s so sleek with beautiful artwork on the walls. Our server was welcoming and friendly and explained the difference options for dinner that night. The food was amazing delicious! Nice place for anyone celebrating a special night.

Delicious food! Below a beautiful hotel. Unique small plates. I have been for both breakfast and lunch now 6 months apart and have not been disappointed.

Google
Very surprised and impressed. The restaurant gives you lounge feel with the setup and music they play. What impressed me the most was the excellent service, better than the more expensive restaurants in the Borderland. What also impressed me was the food. From the clam chowder to the steak. Everything cooked to perfection. The steak was tender. I highly recommend this place.

Google
Taft Diaz is an upscale dinning experience. They focus on high quality, gourmet meals. They are expensive but I felt the food, experience, and atmosphere, were in alignment with the price you will pay. I would return.

Google
Beautiful and elegant restaurant. Great for a date night. The overall rating is probably more accurate. The seasoning for entrees is a bit heavy on the salt for the scallops and chicken. The octopus chicharron was delicious. The drinks were good. The desert rain was great. Balanced.

Google
Great atmosphere and service and a good wine list. I definitely recommend to those who are visiting downtown El Paso.

Yelp
A very classy place in downtown El Paso. I had desert rain with aviation gin and amaras mezcal, aloe Vera and mint- refreshing and perfect for a summer day. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable. The host even made a tasting menu for me on the spot! House ciabatta with butter Scallop crudo leche Tigre with scallops flown in from Japan. Very fresh! The tostadas very slightly oily but didn't matter Mexican butter was basically bone marrow cooked to perfection with blue corn tortillas Next course was corn chowder and truffle soup very very truflley and really really delish Next Was cacio Pepe very truflled and slightly salty. Probably my least favorite but good none the less Next was steak with endives and really good. He did a perfect medium rare. The last course was tiramisu with Mexican chocolate and Mexican coffee The only advice I will have is the food is served in large portions and very fast maybe they could slow the pace.

Yelp
The food was good. The Stanton breakfast at first seemed really basic but the hash browns were really crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pancakes were a little shocking at first. It almost seemed to have a taste of alcohol but they were very good. Not usually a fan of pancakes but these were good. The divorciados had the quesadilla on the bottom and it made a good base for everything on top. Service was quick but we were the only table there so no clue how they are when busy.

Yelp
Whoa! The prices for the food we were served was insane. $100 tab for lunch? All we can say is at least the fries were good.

Yelp
We're so glad we dined here. What a pleasant experience and great start to our vacation morning. What a beautiful hotel this is. Our breakfast was perfectly prepared and the staff is very attentive. I say simple and delicious always is the correct way to go. Plus we got a surprise when we got tour the art strewn throughout the hotel. What a beautiful place and their library cozy area inspired me for my home library.

Yelp
I will say this place has a very classy air to it but a bit over inflated. The service was friendly and somewhat quick with drinks but food took a bit considering we were the only people there. I came for brunch and ordered the brunch burger and a pineapple mimosa. I also ordered the chocolate dome for dessert. They were good but not something to write home about. I think it's over priced and could have been better.

Yelp
The service is always good, yet another great meal with Taft Diaz. I have had the dinner and now the brunch and I cannot wait to make another reservation so I can visit again. The deco is extremely Instagram worthy and the atmosphere relaxing and inviting.

Yelp
I had been wanting to come here for quite some time and yesterday was the day. I have a series of appointments post eye surgery and they have to dilate my eye so I can't drive. I have an Army pal who is retired and they take me to my eye appointments; in return, I take them for lunch. Kit is a win win situation and I get to catch up on all the news about everyone we knew. This trip, we came to Taft-Diaz. We were seated immediately and waited in- what took long was for the food to come out! They have nice lunch specials that are very tasty and small portions- this is perfect for lunch so you are not falling asleep after. Plating was Pinterest worthy and service was great. The ambiance is great for a nice date out.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Although the food was prepared quite well, surprised that the service was not up to par with the hotel's exceptional service.

Yelp
We came here on a Monday for lunch, and it was pretty empty. The ambiance is nice at the hotel restaurant. I ordered the Power Lunch- entree with choice of small soup or half salad and dessert. I started with the Cesar salad. It came with a house dressing- black garlic Cesar. I enjoyed it, but there was too much dressing. I went with the Al pastor and tempura artichoke tacos as my entree. I loved the artichoke taco. What I loved the most though was the cucumber sorbet- refreshing! Service was great. Our waitress Desiree was attentive. When it came to the bill, there is a guide for tipping at the bottom. Make sure you don't follow it blindly though. We split our check, but the guide doesn't reflect that...

Yelp
We were there to celebrate my birthday and the service was good but they took a little long to get our food, considering that the restaurant wasn't busy. The food and drinks were really good, I wasn't a big fan of the dessert we got, I feel like the cinnamon roll was too dry it seemed old or frozen. The ambiance was pleasant!

Yelp
We visited this place after seeing good reviews and hotel staff recommended. I like the reviews, the level of this restaurant (food) did not impress me. The server did not pay attention to our food being ready (she was doing something in the kitchen by the bar), so they sat under the warmer for a while (more than 7 mins.) I asked another sever to bring me the food since he attended a table next to ours. He didn't go bring the food, instead did what he had to do and then go tell our server. Food was obviously not at the optimal temperature. The quality of food did not justify the price (did we pay for the contemporary ambiance??) Save your money and go to the burger shop next door. Money well spent there than here.

Yelp
This place is kind of tucked away in a building near downtown. Had I not been leveraging Yelp to find a breakfast spot, I doubt I would have found it. But as I was staying at the Paso del Norte for a work trip, I looked on Yelp to find a breakfast spot nearby. All I saw was the main pic of the pancakes and I knew I had to get here. I went in on a Thursday morning around 7:45a. I didn't see the signage immediately, but luckily, they have a doorman standing outside and he said "Are you looking for Taft Diaz?" (which shows that I looked lost). I told him I was and he lit up and was so excited. He was so gracious as he opened the door for me and had a hostess whisk me away to a table. The staff here is SUPER friendly! Honestly, some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff I've seen in a loooong time! So if my rating were based on that alone, it would be a 5 star review. The waitress kept asking if there was anything she could do to make my experience enjoyable, etc. It was just so pleasant. I didn't waste any time since I had a meeting at 8:30a that I needed to get back to. And I knew I needed those pancakes, so I ordered them almost immediately. She put them in and I was able to see that a table of 5-6 people put their order in right ahead of me. Unfortunately, that meant my food took longer than normal to come out (I ended up being late to my 8:30a meeting :/ ) So one thing to note for breakfast is that this is a small place with only about 12-15 tables. There was only one waitress for the whole place, so that probably means there's only 1-2 cooks as well. So take note of that if you are in a rush. My pancakes came out and I was bummed that they didn't look like the pic. Well presentation-wise they did; but they were also very burned. So burned, that I was kind of surprised they served them to me. But I had no time to waste since I had a meeting in less than 10 mins. So I scarfed the food down. It was still enjoyable. The butter is soft and spreadable, the maple syrup was the perfect amount and the fruit was delicious. If I ever came back here, I'd make sure I am not in a rush. Because if I had more time, I would have asked them to remake the pancakes for me. And given how nice everyone is there, I'm sure they would have obliged. Also, bonus that my bill was less than $15. It was a great price for the ambiance and a hearty breakfast. I would go back, but just need to make sure I have plenty of time.

Yelp
Taft Diaz was on my radar before visiting El Paso, but I wasn't really planning on dining there. I usually have a pretty good idea of where I'll eat whenever I go to a different city and their menu just didn't really grab me. However, I had a bit of time before leaving for the airport to go home, and was in the area still so I looked up the lunch menu. That's when I noticed they have a "power lunch" for $15 which includes an entree, small soup or half salad, and a scoop of seasonal sorbet for dessert. Uh, you can't really beat that, so I walked over to the Stanton House which is where Taft Diaz is located on the first floor. The door was opened for me and I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. The restaurant is a small space towards the back of the lobby, but it was airy and bright. The furnishings are soft and neutral, and I felt comfortable even though it's a higher end spot. For lunch I ordered two tacos: one al pastor and one tempura artichoke, as well as the Caesar salad. The salad came out first and was excellent - I've eaten a lot of Caesar salads in my lifetime and this one was a bit different yet still delicious. The house dressing was savory and I loved the crispy melba toast pieces. The tacos were very small, but packed with flavor and really a great value for this $15 lunch option. The al pastor was a bit different than the al pastor I'm used to - saucier and a bit spicy. The meat was tender and I liked the toppings - pickled onion and roasted pineapple. The tempura artichoke was definitely my favorite! I loved the textures and the flavor of the marinated mushrooms (sidenote, I would eat a taco with those too). The tempura wasn't super crispy but I liked the softer fry on the artichoke. It made me think of a fried fish taco, but a vegetarian take. I overheard one of the servers recommending this taco to another guest so I think it's pretty popular. I'd definitely get this again. Dessert was a scoop of fresh strawberry sorbet - it was a little icier than I prefer, but the freeze-dried strawberries were a nice texture and the flavor of the sorbet was great. Overall I was so pleased with this meal and enjoyed it much more than my food at Elemi. I'd come back in the future for this lunch special specifically, but they also serve breakfast, brunch, and dinner.

Yelp
"A celebration for your mouth!" is what my daughter called the Taft Diaz restaurant, and I wholeheartedly agree! I chose this restaurant for my birthday breakfast, and it did not disappoint whatsoever! The service was above par, and the food was beautifully presented, and delicious! The atmosphere is relaxing and the architectural style is luxurious. We're already planning our next visit and recommend it enthusiastically!

Yelp
I came for brunch with friends and try someplace new. We made reservations because some of the other nearby restaurants are often very busy for the same reason. When we arrived, we were the only guests, which was somewhat nice. The service was very polite and attentive. The two cocktails I ordered (Desert Rain & White Witch) were enjoyable. The food (Stanton Breakfast) was okay. A bit over priced for what it was. This place has a lot of potential. To get there, I would like to see either the flavour and quality of the food improve, or the prices be more in line with what is on offer.

Yelp
Great Food! Great service! Beautiful environment. Super clean. Scallops is very delicious, tender and the rice is perfect.

Yelp
I first found out about Taft Díaz while looking for upscale restaurants on Google, but then encountered it again while on a downtown hotel tour hosted by Downtown El Paso. The restaurant caught my eye because of its bright yet cozy location and the Shy Lights art exhibit, which are one of a kind! We were happy to see them in action during dinner. We went to Taft Diaz on a Saturday at 5:00pm. We spent about an hour and a half there just enjoying the food and drinks. We were surprised that there was no one else there for the first hour or so, but it was early so kind of made sense. We grabbed a couple drinks at the bar before our reservations. I got the Mal Ojo, which is a beautifully blue margarita made with curaçao. Delicious! We grabbed a couple other drinks while at dinner and the Crimson Blossom was also great. When we seated for dinner, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful waiter, Francisco. He brought us bread with a garlic herb butter. We ordered a couple ahi tuna tostadas as an appetizer. Perfect size as to not ruin my appetite and had a ton of great flavor. My significant other ordered the corn and truffle soup which was AMAZING. Seriously, get it. For dinner, I ordered the seared scallops. At first I didn't expect the different flavors to go together, but they did. Everything was cooked perfectly and just absolutely delicious. It was the perfect place for a date night and we really enjoyed it!

Yelp
***209 STANTON STREET INSIDE STANTON HOUSE HOTEl*** SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! The host and server/bartender were friendly, made me feel welcome, and accommodated my needs and wants. I gave Taft Diaz a three stars because it seems they try to be EXTRA fancy... i ordered the chilaquiles with a side of sausage...I asked for avocado and they put these little dollops of avocado, then I wanted sour cream and they basically did the same thing but in a little cup. Very small eggs on top, which I figured so which is why I ordered a side of sausage. What I did like were the chips they used for the chilaquiles instead of tortillas... I enjoyed the crunchiness. Overall I'd give them another shot based on the service itself. Lavender cappuccino was delicious!!! Try it!

Yelp
We were in El Paso for 2 nights. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a reservation last minute. A lot of places in El Paso do not take reservations, so this was definitely a perk. The staff greeted us by name and sat us immediately. We enjoyed the decor but the booth felt a bit uncomfortable with the stiff high backs. We had the shishito peppers to start and enjoyed the chicken Caesar salad and the Taft salad. We loved our food but thought that it was a bit overpriced. We were visiting from New York and the prices in El Paso should definitely not feel like they're the same.

R M.

Yelp
I had been dying to try this place but left very disappointed. Overpriced. Presentation was pretty but food could be a lot better. The lobster roll was mainly avocado and the lobster was leaning on the edge of going bad. I was expecting a lot more.

Yelp
4.5. Epic. This is where you need to brunch in El Paso. Lovely place, lovely service, and the food is well above average. Delightful roast veggies, eggs, sausage. My cafe latte? Very good but not lyrical. A touch on the weak side. Bathrooms are downstairs. And it _is_ a bit hard to find. The hotel in which it is located has a nondescript entrance. Just look for the building number.

Yelp
Excellent and stylish restaurant in the beautiful, new Stanton Hotel. Love the menu, fresh ingredients and chef preparation. The soup and salads were outstanding. For main I enjoyed the tacos and my daughter had the chicken. All delicious. Don't miss the interesting wines from Baja Mexico. We had a lovely blend, Ensemble Colina 2016, that was silky smooth with a spice finish ($60). Fun fact, the Baja region where this wine is produced, was where wine was first made in the americas in the early 1600s. They still produce some excellent wine in this region to this day.

Yelp
The staff here is amazing. The ambiance is fresh, lively and very entertaining. Overall this is a very clean and fancy establishment. Ultimately you must consider that in the price. The steak isn't worth $70-$90 but you're paying for the steak and the view. If you've got it you'll love it, if you're on a budget, by all means avoid.

Yelp
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. The food was delicious and Francisco and the rest of the staff were made our evening very special. The food definitely rivaled anything I've eaten in upscale restaurants in places like Mexico City. The decor was really cool, too.

Yelp
Delicious cuisine! Try the rib eye that his half Mexican and half American cuisine. Drinks are on point!!!

Yelp
This was one of the best crab cakes Benedict's I've ever had. I highly recommend it. My family had the divorciados and said it was great for the US (but not comparable to what you can get in Mexico). The restaurant is in a really nice hotel so you feel like you're in a really nice restaurant and the servers are super friendly.

Yelp
I was excited to try Taft Diaz but was super disappointed. Started off with the Cheese & Provisions ($28) plate. When the plate arrived, I laughed at the transparent 3 slices of cucumber we were given (see pictures). Not very presentable. Does feed 2-3 people. As an entree I had the seared scallops. Despite we were 1 of 2 tables in the whole restaurant, my dish managed to arrive cold. The scallops were overcooked (see picture) and the risotto that accompanied the scallops was so salty it was impossible to enjoy. Leaves much to be desired.

Yelp
El Paso amazes me with the variety it has sometimes. Ambiance - Inside the new Stanton hotel, the area is clean, sophisticated, and modern with plenty of natural lighting and a white/slate color scheme. Service - Open kitchen concept which was cool to see. There was only one server for two parties and he kept disappearing? It was a bit odd, but he was nice. Just wish he was more present. Food - Had the chicken sandwich, flautas, and complimentary bread. Bread was delicious and fresh as was the butter and green chile sauce. Flautas were beautifully plated and with a unique spin, but was nothing extraordinary. Chicken sandwich had a hint of spice which was nice. The food was delicious, but nothing mindblowing. Overall, a neat place to check out. Breakfast and lunch are much more reasonably priced than dinner. Has the fancy feel if you're seeking for something of that ambiance with decent food.

Yelp
One of the best new lunch spots in El Paso. Located in the lobby of the Stanton House boutique hotel in downtown El Paso. I've been here three times for lunch and every meal was great but this is my first review. Previous meals included salads, tacos and some other tasty dishes I sampled from others. This time around I opted for the spicy chicken sandwich which included a side of fries. I gotta say - I'd pick this over the famed Popeyes chicken sandwich any day of the week! Really good - just spicy enough and very tasty! The fries were a nice combo with it too. Service from our waitress Maria was top notch. She stayed on top of refills and such and food was brought out promptly. Looking forward to trying more in the future.

Yelp
We were driving across the country from SF to ATX, and decided to swing by El Paso for a quick breakfast before doing our last stretch of the drive. Was seated quickly and greeted by Leslie, who was super sweet and helpful in helping us lock in our choices. I got the chilaquiles (you can choose rojo, verde, or both salsas, which I did) and my dad got the pancakes with sausage. They were both delicious and beautifully plated by Chef Erick R. and his team! For the chilaquiles, I really enjoyed the rustic earthiness of the rojo salsa mixed with the tangy sour spiciness of the verde salsa together. The egg (which you can request how you'd like it) and the mashed bean paste helped make the dish more robust and protein-rich -- it kept me full for the whole day! My portion was also definitely fair for the price. No wonder it's their most popular breakfast choice! Most of the reviews here seem to be for dinner. So if you're in the area and can grab them for breakfast, do it! I'd definitely go back again for those chilaquiles.

Yelp
The service was amazing and the food was as picturesque as it was tasty. The hotel and restaurant are a unique addition to El Paso's Downtown with it's modern cowboy/pop art vibe. If you are on a time crunch, let your waitstaff know as they like to give you space and time to enjoy your meal.

Yelp
Taft Diaz is definitely a go-to fine dining restaurant in downtown El Paso. It is located INSIDE the Stanton House hotel and so it is a little difficult to find at first, but once you get there, it is definitely worth it. The menu is quite short, but the quality of food does not suffer from it. Everything is prepared fresh - down to the homemade tortillas that are prepared in house. We were here for breakfast and had the Huevos Motuleños, which were incredible. We also had mimosas, which were a bit expensive, but I digress The restaurant is a little small, with only a few tables, but we came pretty early and so we did not have to wait. The atmosphere and decor are really quite beautiful and the service is superb, 10/10.

Yelp
It looks small, but there was plenty of room to maintain social distancing. It's located in a hotel (someone corrects me if I'm wrong). The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate. It's a perfect place for a date night and a little on the pricey side, but worth it. We sat at the bar, and I honestly can't remember our cocktails' names, but they were terrific! The bartenders were attentive too. We ordered tacos and something else, but no complaints here. We had a great time and will be going back when we do another staycation.

Yelp
Nice waitresses, but awful service. Beautiful decor, but awful cold food. I recommend you check out the art, it's amazing. Beautiful place, but do not eat there. Bad dinning experience.

Yelp
We were excited to try out this place because of the good reviews and the exciting menu items that I saw on the Yelp menu pics. However, I was a little disappointed that some of the interesting items that I saw were not on the current menu - but that's my fault for not checking out the menu on their website prior to our visit. We started out with the Mushroom Barbacoa starter and that was pretty amazing! It was a well-constructed dish with a great flavor profile - the sauce was great. All the ingredients worked well together. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken skin chicharrón brought this dish up to another level because it added an extra dimension of flavor and texture (crunch). The mushrooms were delicious - almost tasted like a meat item. I thought that this would have been a great main entree in itself. The flavor was bold and the tortilla was perfect in that it helped tone it down a little so that it was not overpowering. The corn & truffle soup was highly recommended so we gave that a try. I thought it was nice but a bit too rich for me to eat in it's entirety, but my wife thought it was good. I also had the taco Al Pastor pork and it was enjoyable but there is only 1 taco per order. The pineapple added another enjoyable flavor to the dish. For our mains, my wife had the Al Mojo catch of the day which was cod - I think Alaskan?. Her cod was well-cooked and seasoned (a hint of a caramelized flavor) but the risotto was a bit too al dente - too firm to the bite. We've had delicious risotto in other restaurants before and this seemed a bit undercooked for our tastes. I had the seared scallops. The scallops had a decently seasoned but it seemed slightly overcooked as they were a bit on the chewier side. The barley was a bit too firm for my liking - kind of like the risotto. I'm not sure if it was undercooked. However, I don't have much experience eating barley and am not sure if it was done properly and was just not my thing. The positives were that we were warmly greeted by the hostess and had good service from our waiter. The mushroom barbacoa was the highlight of the night. The experience started out like it could turn into something epic, but ended up lackluster for us on this visit.

Yelp
My husband and I recently did a staycation for a night at The Stanton House. (Amazing) we made a reservation for Taft Diaz for dinner. It is a very small area of the first floor. Quaint little area next to a quaint hotel bar. Very intimate and cozy. We were greeted by Francisco our waiter who was great. He was very efficient and attentive. Immediately we were brought bread for the table. I was starving but this bread was amazing. Don't skip the bread you Keto people. You will miss out. The menu is small but very diverse and unique entrees. We ordered the Meatballs for the appetizer. It came with 4 large Meath balls with large 1/4 pieces of roasted tomatoes in an amazing Italian sauce and a "Brûlée Burrata". I had known idea what it was but it ended up being an amazing mozzarella type of cheese and best of all served with more bread! The dish was so good. Main course, so of course my husband had to order the rib eye ( because why change it up) he is a rib eye connoisseur and has had every rib eye in El Paso. (Well almost) this was hand down the BEST! It was so tender it literally melted in your mouth. It was served with 2 dipping sauces that too were out of this world, a charred avocado, grilled onions, and a side of very tasty mashed potatoes. Amazing! Definitely worth the $75 price. I ordered the seared scallops with carbonara sauce, hatch green chile on little beds of risotto. I was very impressed. I would order this dish again. However I was a bit jealous of my husband rib eye. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant worth the price, the service was on point and the experience was very enjoyable. Just adding this in I would also recommend a stay at this Boutique Hotel. We had such an amazing evening. Francisco the GM is an amazing asset to hotel and the whole atmosphere.

Yelp
One my favorite places for dining now! This after having brunch there about a week ago. I would rank this in the top 10% of my personal dining experiences. Maybe because the interior design combined with the Bad A$$ "art" set the stage for an engaging conversation over our meal. When was the last time you looked at hotel art? You'll want to spend time looking at this art! I'd been there before for company events and happy hour for a quick drink. But I'd never been there during the day. The amount of light that shines on the that dining area is amazing. The food is inventive and well executed making it supremely enjoyable. And the staff is kind and a pleasure to greet, making the place seem warmer than it already is. Go there! Tell them I sent you! (Joking...they don't know who I am!)

Yelp
Great spot for a nice dinner and amazing food/drinks! Taft Díaz is inside the Stanton House which is an upscale hotel in downtown El Paso. Fancy dining feel and great service. We were given complimentary fish marrow that was incredible. We got the strawberry sotol cocktail that was very good with a Smokey twist. The violet aviation was also a great choice with touch of lavender. We also ordered a glass of red wine. There was only 2 options for by the glass which I was a little disappointed by. Aguachile: cold dish with scallops, avocado, and other veggies with vinaigrette. Really refreshing. Tasted very similar to ceviche dish. The waiter recommended the Tempura Artichoke taco as one of their best items and guys this was sooooo good. The flavors were perfect and one of the best tacos I've had in El Paso. Al Mojo was also amazing. The Halibut was cooked to perfection on a bed of hatch risotto that didn't have too overwhelming of a chile. Definitely one of my favorites. Overall great experience and wonderful dinner. I would even keep this is mind to stop by for those tacos for a lower priced dinner.

Yelp
First, for a hotel lobby restaurant this place is beyond expectations. He parachute lighting that drop down the center of the hotel on a regular schedule are mesmerizing. The bar, dinning room, and kitchen are laid out to make them both individual areas and flow cohesively. The cocktails and mocktails have always been on point and it seems the bartenders are continually working on new and different off-menu drinks. Wine list is modest compared to other fine dining restaurants, but is sufficient to pair with their menu and within a comfortable price point. The food here has always been amazing: in taste, presentation, and portions. Scallops were perfectly cooked (browned on each side), and paired well with a local twist on risotto (green chile). The pasta made from scratch was wonderful. The staff from curb arrival to departure were outstanding. Professional attire, well spoken, polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. The Taft Diaz experience is standing confidently in the Michelin star arena patiently waiting to be recognized.

Yelp
Delicious food and a great environment, we had dinner here and Jaylene ( our server) was fantastic! We appreciate her recommendations and she was attentive. We have been here for dinner and breakfast and will continue to be back

Yelp
It's a bit hard to find this amazing restaurant since it's inside of a hotel at the heart of downtown El Paso. But let me tell you BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN!! I ordered the chilaquiles accompanied with soft scrambled eggs, honestly I was enjoying every bite plus the presentation is beautiful and very colorful and the eggs omg the best I've had!. I also ordered and iced coffee and yes it was delicious as well. The prices are quite reasonable for a breakfast. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Great Saturday night dinner spot! The service is excellent, makes you feel welcome and taken care of. To start, we tried a couple of drinks. First, the "Luminous Twist" (Rye Whisky, Candied Cherry, Lemon Juice, Green Chartreus). Followed by the "Honey Manhattan"(Rye Whisky, Averna, Orange Juice, Honey). These drinks are AMAZING and are creations from their Team. So good! We then ordered the Mexican Butter (Tuétanos) to start, chef-finished at the table... so good! We then had the Lamb Shank and the Pescado Al Mojo. Very authentic dishes, flavorful and delicious all over. We can't wait to come back. Do yourself a favor and visit them now!

Yelp
Everything about this meal was amazing. Desiree had great menu suggestions. The pomegranate Paloma and salad were my fav though. Desiree went above any beyond and even helped me out with stuff to see downtown. Thank you so much Taft Diaz for such a great lunch.

Yelp
Wasn't impressed. The orange juice mimosa was a little sour. The chilaquiles were okay. The green sauce was good, the red sauce was smoky. It all just looked mushy. I wouldn't go again.

Yelp
Unbelievable! My wife and I wanted to order two ribeyes and the price per ribeye is $65. Neither of us eat potatoes and I hate onions. I wanted to switch out potatoes for rice. The kitchen wouldn't do it. I talked to the manager of the hotel and he said there was nothing he could do. Can you believe it? They would walk from $130 of food and $110 bottle of wine because they wouldn't switch potatoes for rice, which they serve with other offerings. There is nothing cheaper on planet earth than the rice. I try to support local businesses in El Paso, but they are to arrogant to be flexible to please a customer. I will give them another chance in 6 months after they have turned over the cook and the manager for not building their business.

Yelp
An outstanding restaurant, an elegant space, a brilliant chef. Every part of our meal offered wonder and was delicious. The wait staff were great (we had the terrific Roberto).

Yelp
Restaurant is located inside Stanton Hotel with large black frame clear doors. Valet is located right out front of those doors. Lunch Valet is $12. I paid $8 instead for parking on a lot on the corner of N. Stanton & E. Mills. (Winner!) Walked in and Blush Boutique & Spa was located on the right (on my To Do List). We stood at the Host podium and were greeted by the bartender less than a minute. She sat us down at a booth. Service was a little slow but understood since he looked like the only server working on the floor. My S.O. wasn't pleased with the service overall but I do want to add that when he was setting another table, he was very focused to make sure everything was in its place. Restaurant was clean and showcased an open-kitchen where you saw Chefs with their bold purple gloves. They were plating dishes under heat lamps ready to be delivered. At the table, ordered a pricey trio of meatballs ($21), Taft Burger ($12), Short Rib Flautas ($15). All were good. Flautas and burger were great portions however, those three meatballs were a little to pricey for a bowl. Then again the brûlée burrata was delicious... As we left the establishment, bartender greeted us Goodbye and ladies up front were courteous and opened the door for us as we walked out. Would I recommend this place...? Absolutely!
