Detroit-style squares and New York rounds from the A Tavola team, with a lively neighborhood bar vibe. Named Best Overall Pizza (Non-Chain) by CityBeat readers in 2024, and regularly praised by Cincinnati Magazine for its hot-honey pepperoni. Three locations serve different slices of the city.

Love this place. You will too. We tried the rather hard to find deep dish pizza- called Detroit Deep Dish at Taglio. Excellent. The craft beer choices were good, service excellent. Even the small Caesar side salad was very good.

I hate having to leave this review, but after a 2 hour wait, the staff being unable to even locate my order when I called to check on it, and the state of my pizza when it arrived, it seemed necessary. I LOVE taglio, but something has definitely changed. The normally hefty ricotta scoops were the size of a quarter, and with no exaggeration my entire pizza was roughly the size of my hand. It was overcooked and also cold, just very unappealing to look at. I ended up just eating the mozzarella sticks. For a 13$ small pizza, I just expect a lil more than this. I feel like I should also mention that there was a 2 hour wait for a place that is less than 10 minutes away, overall just a truly disappointing expirience.

My favorite place! I have never been to this location before, but it measures up to how I feel about OTR. The pizza lager is my favorite. Highly recommend the hot honey pepperoni Detroit style, as well as the mozzarella sticks with spicy garlic! This time I tried the Bianco pizza and it was AWESOME. Our server Cody was attentive and awesome. Great options for vegan and gluten free friends as well. Makes it easy to dine with a group! Thank you, Taglio!

Google
Great pizza! Delicious New York style pizza baked to perfection with great flavoring. The hot honey was a perfect touch to the pepperoni, definitely recommend trying. Staff was awesome as well!

Went here on St. Patty's Day (bc I always forget what day it is until I take a good look around at everyone's clothes 🍀) with two friends. The service was kind and patient even though we took a while to order because we were debriefing after a venue tour and doing some planning. Ultimately, we ordered three small pizzas (their classic pep and hot honey, sausage pesto, and buffalo chicken) along with the large BLT ranch salad to share. By the time we were done, there were only two small slices left! We got cookies and cream gelato to cool it all down and had no regrets 🍨 Would absolutely return for a high quality comfort meal of pizza and apps! They had some tasty sounding cocktails that I'd try when I'm more in a headspace for alcohol, so I'll have something new to test next time I go!

Google
Not my style to leave reviews but this really made an impression on me…We have all experienced rising prices over the last five years - however, the biggest sticker shock I have ever had was at Taglio. For a Detroit style pizza (eight pieces) with frankly meager toppings it was $32 and about two ounces of ranch dressing was $2. My husband actually added pepperoni we had at home to his slice. When I balked at the size of the ranch for the price the employee response was a resigned, “yeah it is really expensive here”. The food is good but you can get the same quality and considerably better value at Dewey’s, the new Wayfair Tavern, Adriatico’s…

Top notch Detroit style pizza. Service is attentive and location is open and confortable.

Google
Went here Friday night. We had the eggplant app and a pepperoni pizza with hot honey, Detroit style. It was honestly the best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had. It sounds like a strange combination with the hot honey, but you’ve gotta try it! Our server was younger with long dark hair. She was very nice and did a great job! The place was really dead, which was very surprising since the food was so good. Would come back for sure if we’re ever in Cincinnati again.

Yelp
Service: good people no complaints. Fast service. Ambiance: think of an upscale sports bar. Food: hot honey & pepperoni Detroit deep dish BEST PIZZA IN CINCY. No doubt. Here is why: DOUGH: The dough is soft & airy inside but crispy & salty crust. Think of a really nice focaccia with a high water content similar to a sour dough. This is the most unique part of the pizza and what makes it stand out above the rest. Although St Francis knows what they are doing too. PEPPERONI: The Pepp is crispy and a little charred so it offers little salty and bitter notes. SAUCE pairs well with the honey and offers a sweeter sauce than a normal pie but it pairs well with the basil & salty Pepp. FRESH BASIL: To top it off it has fresh sweet basil to offer some freshness.

Yelp
I just really love Taglio's pizza. It's always fantastic. consistently awesome. The Detroit style dough is light but thick and crispy on the edges. Would love to see the pans they use. The Bianco pizza is always a must order. The riccota is creamy and tangy. The pizza has a solid garlic flavor. The service is always friendly and prompt. Lots of places to park. Beer is cold. Who wouldn't love this place?!

Yelp
Say hello to my new favorite pizza place in Cincinnati. My husband and I went for a date night and we split a Caesar salad (delicious) and we got a pizza that was half Deluxe and half Spicy Italian. Both were AMAZING, but the Spicy Italian was my fave. They do not skimp on the toppings!

Yelp
I don't know what took me so long to come to Taglio, but WOW am I blown away!!! My husband and I popped in here for a casual, early dinner and our server was super pleasant the entire time--even walking us through the restaurant background since we told him it was our first time coming in. The pizza was spectacular! We got the Detroit style margarita pizza and it was divine. The crust has such a burst of flavor and paired with the sauce, it's like heaven. This will be our new go-to pizza spot! We said we'll try the New York style next time to try them but, but I think Detroit style will take the cake. The hype Taglio gets is deserved!

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here for the vegan options! We started with their Greek salad, no feta, which we scarfed down before I could get a picture of. It was the best pizzeria salad I've ever had! Simple but fresh and full of flavor. Now to the pizza. As a well traveled vegan foodie and pizza connoisseur, their GF Detroit Deep Dish crust was the best I've ever had. The pizza sauce is reminiscent to your Nona's homemade tomato sauce and the vegan cheese, toppings, were perfection. We tried the vegan hot honey w/ Pumfuroni which was out of this world delicious! And we had to try the Bianco on the NY style crust too which I woke up craving this morning. The service was top notch and the ambiance was low key and laid back with a nice Italian pizzeria vibe. This is easily my new favorite pizza place and I cant wait to go back for their vegan chocolate Gelato!

Yelp
Ahh..What can I say, about my good ol Tagilo! For starters, I'm a frequent visitor and regular customer. Two years ago, I tried their hot honey and pepperoni pizza and haven't been able to stop going since. This is my favorite location because it's very laid-back and convenient. The workers are generally friendly and nice. However, there are a few downsides as a customer. The house-made ranch dressing costs $2, which is a bit steep. It's essential and delicious on its own, but it's not worth the price. Additionally, the hot honey deep dish pizza only comes in two sizes, which can be inconvenient if you're sharing with someone or if you're not sure how much you'll eat. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the neighborhood pizza place for deals. It's on the pricier side, but that's coming from a regular customer. The only personal pizza option is $14, and the largest pizza is $36, which is in your most popular flavor. That's a bit diabolical, lol. The last thing I'll mention is the lengthy wait time for an employee to come to the takeout counter. Despite those few minor quirks, I really recommend this place to anyone. It's so good! Also, clean bathrooms! & they keep the place pretty nice. They also do not offer to-go drinks or like cups accept like bottled sprite and a few take home wine options. Beverages to-go are very minimal.

Yelp
We moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and had to try out taglio as it's known to be some pretty good pizza. They're definitely trying to sell you on the beer as I'm sure they make more profit with that but I'm not much of a drinker. But the pizza was pretty good! The first time I got one of their specials which was a Cincinnati chili style pizza which was actually really good. The second time we came with our family and shared a bigger pizza and it was the one with the sweet bacon on it. Delicious! Ambience is pretty modern pizza place with beer kind of place. Hard to explain more than that. I only scored them down because both times are service was just okay. Either took them way too long to come back and refill waters or just to get attention so we could get out of there. It's unfortunate and I'm sure it's common these days but for the food, we would definitely return!

Yelp
The pic doesn't do it justice, but I was SO excited to find a gluten free and vegan pizza at Taglio! And....drumroll.... It had the Detroit crust!! I didn't think deep dish vegan could even be a thing, but I'm so here for it. Overall taste was very good for the limitations. So happy to have this option.

Yelp
Hands down the best pizza in Cincinnati. Service is efficient when dining in. You have to get their balsamic cranberry almond salad and the hot honey pepperoni - so great! Fair warning though that ordering pizza for pick up on the weekend can take well over an hour (even if they estimate the wait time for shorter) which is why I shaved off one Star. They definitely need to get that fixed. Also ranch being $2 for a tiny container is a little crazy.

Yelp
I've been eyeballing this restaurant since we moved here almost a year ago. Finally got a chance to dine in on a Saturday night. It was really busy because the FC Cincinnati game was on and the bar was filled. Luckily we were seated right away because it was a high top table. I would describe this place like an upscale pizza joint, however laid back atmosphere. They serve everything from appetizers, salads, desserts. Their style is either New York or Detroit (thick crust). You can build your own, order their specialty pizzas or do half and half. They have small, medium and large. Their drink menu is simple. Good wine to pair with, local craft beers (even have their own signature beers- pizza lager and IPA) and cocktails. Our server was so helpful. Before we ordered, she gave us a breakdown of both their drink and food menu. We ordered: -New York Style. Large Old Schooler- tomato sauce, mozzarella, garlic, oregano, black pepper, crushed tomatoes. -Montepulciano (glass) -Pinot Noir -Three Primes pizza lager (pint) -IPA (pint) I couldn't wait to dive into the pizza! It was everything I wanted it to be but better. Fresh ingredients. Tasted so much garlic and fresh crushed tomatoes. The crust is what sold me. One of the best I've ever had. There was something about the crust that sets them apart from other pizza joints we've gone to. We didn't have room for dessert but there's always next time. Overall, what an awesome experience and I can't wait to tell my friends about this place. So good and can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Chad R.

Yelp
Went for the Detroit style, but their New York style is even better. Lunch special is a great deal.

Yelp
I've only ever gotten the pizza togo but it's always delicious, my favorite pizza in Cincinnati! Last night, service was speedy and took less than the estimated wait time.

Yelp
This is our year to try new things, So on the server's recommendation we tried the Hot Honey Pizza. ( A combination of pepperoni and honey and chili oil on a mozzarella pizza.) And we paired it with a large salad. The pizza looked awesome but in my opinion the pizza was just "OK"Not much honey flavor, or heat from the chili oil. (Could of just been a misfire.) I gonna have to stick to there traditional pizza's which are very good. The salad was awesome and the service is great. The ambiance could use some work. Hard metal chairs and a blast of cold air every time the door opens is a downer. Going forward, I'll take mine to go and sit in a comfy chair and watch the game.

Yelp
We have visited this place several times and the food and service is remarkable. I highly recommend this place and if you have never been it's an enjoyable place to meet friends. Great bar with good beer selections too.

Yelp
This is yet another place my lady and I had been meaning to check out for a while and finally did. It's hard to pass up a really good pizza place like this. Plus the fact that it's so close to where we live makes it even better. This is pizza cranked up to eleven for sure! My lady and I went on a Saturday night, and we could tell it was gonna be good, because there was already a line out the door at 6pm. Luckily, since it was just the two of us, we didn't wait long to get a table. The place itself has an upscale sports bar feel with lots of seating and TVs to watch the games. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Is it your first time? The servers will give you all the info about the place and the menu. Need a suggestion? They'll give you that for the food or any tasty libation. If you're a beer geek, I recommend trying their Three Primes Pizza lager or Traveller IPA. Their menu isn't huge, but they have a nice selection of appetizers, salads, and a plethora of pizzas. Detroit thick crust is their specialty but they also do New York style. My lady started with a glass of montepulciano and I had the Pizza Lager as we ordered a large Old School pizza. When the pizza came out, it was a LOT bigger than we expected. And was it good? Only one of the best pizzas we had in a while! Even the crust was a big step up from many places we'd gone to. We ended up ordering more libations (a pinot noir for my lady and a Travellers IPA for me) to enjoy more with the pie. We ended up taking two slices home because we couldn't finish it all. We could absolutely see why this place was so packed. Really good place to watch FC Cincinnati games. Pricing overall is certainly reasonable for what you get in quality and portions. I could absolutely see us going here again!

Kate K.

Yelp
They have gluten free Detroit style small personal pizzas that are SO good. They are very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Got the hot honey pepperoni pizza once for delivery and once in the restaurant (also had a gf cider). Zero issues as a symptomatic celiac. I just wish the pizzas were slightly bigger. The fact that a gf pizza place that's safe for celiacs in Cincinnati is a win. Highly recommend! They even have vegan pizzas.

Yelp
Came in at 8:45 on a Saturday. Sat at the bar and given a menu. Ordered drinks and an appetizer. Drinks came and then we were told they were out of Detroit crust (their specialty). Decided to order the New York style which was nothing special. Then watched another person sit at the bar, order a drink then be told they are out of their signature item after drinking his/her drink. When we mentioned this to the head bartender he said "it's a popular item". Definitely felt like they were trying to trap customers so they wouldn't leave.

Tina T.

Yelp
What happened to this place? Went with family recently and received some of the worst service you could imagine! Bartenders were very rude and seemed to be arguing behind the bar? Servers were nicer but they were left on an island and the overall service was extremely sub par. The pizza took WAY too long and was delivered to the wrong table before it got to us?? We came here a couple times this past summer and the whole experience was night and day, not sure why but this place isn't worth the money anymore!

Yelp
Attention all pizza lovers! If you're in the Cincinnati area you have to check this place out. With a variety of different types and styles of Pizza it's so hard to choose which one, but any of them will hit the spot! The service is fantastic, providing the guests with helpful advice on how the menu works. This is definitely one of the best pizza spots in Cincinnati, and a must try while visiting the area.

Yelp
Good food but terrible service sitting at the bar. I was there for dinner with my son and my mom. I split a small pizza with my mom and my son ordered his own small pizza. They brought out mine and my mom's pizza about 10 minutes before my son's. Because we all wanted to eat together - which was the purpose in going out to eat together- we waited for my son's pizza and when it finally arrived ours was stone cold from having to wait. Then when it came time to pay the bill, the same server took our cc and then stashed it beside the cash register and proceeded to go about his business. We sat waiting for quite some time before we had to ask another server to grab the card and finalize our sale. Usually service at a bar is better. Not so here. Tip was only 10 percent.
google avatar

Tanya P.

Yelp
Excellent service and tasty food. I like the drink choices. They have a fine in side and a pick up side. The medium pizzas run about $20. The bar is beautiful and the servers are so nice. There's televisions inside to watch sports. They have gelato and other desserts available in case you want to just go out for dessert.

Yelp
We love Taglio's Detroit-style pizza! Got the Pepperoni Hot Honey Pizza and it delivered on the promise: hot and slightly sweet, with abundance caramelized cheese on the edges, fluffy but dense and chewy base. Loved it! Our server was very prompt and pleasant. We also got 1/2 salads which were tasty, plus a glass of Chianti and a Taft beer of some sort. This location on Columbia Parkway doesn't seem as spacious as the one in Montgomery but still many tables and we were seated immediately at one of the remaining tables on a Friday evening. Lots of parking.
google avatar

Megan F.

Yelp
Visited Taglio for a casual Monday night dinner with a friend. It was moderately busy but had no issues with seats or service. We both enjoyed the hot honey margarita. We split the large Greek salad which was so yummy. We chose to split the spinach & ricotta and the hot honey pizza. We grabbed the NY style for both. It was so good! The spinach and ricotta was very flavorful and had good bits of garlic. I will be back!
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Came here with my friend who lives down the road, her telling me this would be some of the best pizza I'd ever have...she wasn't wrong! We got the Spinach & Ricotta Detroit Derp Dish style and it was sooooo good. Pizza all the way to the edge which was crunchy and chewy. Super fresh ingredients! Service was also exceptional, very attentive. Atmosphere is an elevated sports bar type feel i'd say.

Yelp
We've been to A Tavola locations two or three times and thought highly of it. But for me, A Tavola's pedigree has not not carried over to Taglio, the more casual (and originally carryout/delivery only?) pizza spot in Columbia-Tusculum opened by A Tavola's owners. A pizza we ordered several years ago from Taglio must have been forgettable because for a long time we never thought to go back. But then a Detroit-area-native former coworker whose taste in food is far above average raved about Taglio's Detroit-style pizzas. Back during the early months of the pandemic we ordered one for carryout and thought it was terrific: big flavors (Taglio's basic red sauce is zesty), and wonderful textural contrast in that crust. A couple of subsequent Detroit-style pizzas were quite a bit blander, though. There was a noticeable deficit of sauce. And these featured a Taglio trend that is quite annoying: major chintziness with toppings, which are not cheap at this restaurant. (The photos indicate that pepperoni, which I don't like, is an exception; order that, and you get a whole damn sausage on your pizza.) We dined in for the first time a couple of weeks back, and there were several additional problems: First off: Caesar salad at $10 was tiny, had what appeared to be "shaky cheese" rather than freshly grated parm, and the balsamic vinaigrette was too tart. But Taglio is about pizza, and a medium New York style pizza was a terrible value at $23. The crust had pretty good chew but strangely little flavor, and the sauce was only OK this time. Big problem here was that the dusting (I'm barely exaggerating) of sausage and mushroom added *eight dollars* of cost to this pizza. If this paltry sprinkling cost Taglio more than 75 cents, I'd be shocked. As pizza, only pretty good, and wildly overpriced for what you get. A bit of side issue, but still a beef: The wife and I have long loved IPAs. But that apparently means we are Gen X fossils, as we have found this town increasingly hostile to them; often local beer menus bump IPAs for beers that taste like candy (peanut butter, raspberry, chocolate, you name it). It's a mystery to us: IPAs are still a vibrant part of beer culture in areas like the Pacific Northwest that have had craft-brewing scenes far longer than Cincinnati has. Anyway, on this evening, the list actually featured a single IPA, but its keg was dry. Come on, folks. The staff on this evening, which may have featured several newer employees, was friendly and pleasant but often out of sync. The restaurant itself is sharp enough looking, with a giant bar in the middle, but ultimately kinda generic. Anyway, over the years that's five pizzas, only one of which qualified as delicious. And the consistent stinginess with the toppings is really off-putting.

Yelp
And I'm back! I LOVE taglio. Their crust on the pan pizza is just to die for. We ordered their meat pizza with a side ranch salad to split. Last time we were here, we got takeout. I definitely believe eating in house is the way to go! We felt the salad portion was way bigger than before. We also tried the mozzarella sticks. Our waitress recommended we order them covered in garlic (spicy) sauce with ranch. WOW. They were amazing. I will be back! I still have a bone to pick around their sides of ranch. $2 for a tiny cup is absurd. For $2, the side should actually be a side, not the size of a Costco sample. If that's the size they're sticking with, it needs to be included or $1. That's all :)
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
Taglio's pizza for Detroit and NY style is heads above others in Cincinnati. The service has always been friendly. This location feels tighter than the one in OTR and is seemingly always crowded. Highly recommend the Mikes hot honey and to try one of their fresh, oversized, salads.
google avatar

Glenn W.

Yelp
First trip to the Columbia Tusculum location. As always Taglio didn't disappoint. The bar is pretty big and the rest of the interior is cozy. The Detroit style pepperoni and hot honey pizza was fantastic. My daughter loved the gelato too. I'm glad this location is as good as the OTR one. It's some of our favorite pizza in Cincy.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
It came up under gluten-free as place to go. Salads...yes. Pizza...no Good choice of beer & wine. Service was great. Tom took good care of us and explained everything well. 3 stars because we were ready to leave and had to go to the bathroom. Not cool. Not one roll, but two rolls empty. Needless to say, left a bad feeling.

Yelp
Great ambiance, amazing pizza, and quality service. It was packed and we got the last 2 spots at the very end of the bar so got to experience the atmosphere with the workers during the rush. Will definitely be back!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Steve E.

Yelp
I love the pizza here, but twelve bucks for a glass of house wine seems a bit ridiculous.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Taglio is definitely in my Top 5 pizza joints in Cincinnati! That hot honey pizza is DELISH! It was thin without being cracker thin and has a wonderful chewy cheesy drippy deliciousness to it. A friend of mine orderd their deep dish pizza and that was pretty fantastic too! Now i have to go back and order that one too because i still think about it from time to time, lol And i ordered their cider beer which was lovely. Actually, it was probably the best cider beer i had ever had. Overall, this is a super solid pizza and should absolutely be checked out by any true pizza aficionado!!
google avatar

Madi L.

Yelp
Taglio never disappoints. From the apps to the pizza, everything is so delicious! The chicken tender appetizer is SO crispy and tender and full of juicy flavor. The Caesar salad is one I can never do without - it is in my top 5 Caesar salads. The salad is always so fresh, the croutons so crispy, and it is the perfect size. They offer deep dish or NY Style pizza. We have had both and depending what you're in the mood for, both hit the spot. The pizzas are so creative and full of delicious toppings and ingredients, or you can create you own which is always fun!

CC R.

Yelp
I discovered the deep dish pizza at the Colombian Tusculum Street Fair, delicious. Last night I ordered that Detroit style pizza, well done. The pizza was burned & too hard to eat. The manager advised me I could get a 50% refund only, not a credit for a new pizza. So very, very disappointing. Manager was not helpful at all.

Yelp
I was in Cincinnati on business and somehow caught a pretty nasty respiratory infection. So I'm holed up in my hotel room unable to prepare my own food - I almost always eat a ton of garlic to fight infections. So after going through a bunch of different businesses to find one that would allow me to select x4 mushrooms and x3 garlic, I order from Taglio. The x4 mushrooms cost me an additional $8 on top of the rest of the pizza cost, which totaled $27. I was expecting to not even be able to see the pizza because of the mushrooms. As you can see, yet again, I get a flaccid handful of mushrooms. What does a girl gotta do to get a proper mushroom garlic pizza??? Very disappointing.

Yelp
Stopped after going to a Playhouse show. First time. My wife and i got caesar salads and a pizza. I got the Deluxe detroit style and she got the thin crust itauan style. 14 was pricey for each one. No leftovers. I like being able to taste tapped beer and cider. Big screen tvs and decent dervice. We had to sit at the bar because tables needed to be bussed.

Yelp
Support your local business during these tough times! The other night we enjoyed some Taglio pizza. We enjoy going here especially because it's walking distance from our house. Taglio service is always fast and friendly. We ordered takeout through there app which is simple to use and includes pics along with menu items so you can see what you're getting into. Although this is a little more expensive than other pizzerias, the quality is worth the price. Our favorite is the Detroit style pizza with pepperoni and hot honey. This pizza has crisp edges with baked on cheese and and sweet and savory taste. I know honey may not sound right for a pizza but trust me it's the way to go. Every time we go here we try and get something new to try along with our go to favorite. This last visit we had the Bianco, this pizza we opted for this thin crust which is also delicious. The bianco is not your traditional pizza as it includes no pizza sauce base and instead is loaded with garlic whole milk mozzarella cheese and dollops of ricotta which offers a nice change of pace. We will definitely visit here again and again and highly recommend both options listed above!

Yelp
This location was perfect with ample parking, pick up parking, The food was scrumptious with unique pizza options and choices of hand tossed or Detroit deep dish. We had the pepperoni hot honey which was delish! The garlic cheese bread is a yummy companion. We also ordered the Caesar salad, so fresh! I'm sure the bevy's would have been great but we had water with a carafe left for us. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Sometimes I just want a fancy drink, a nice meal, and time to myself. When I crave this, I go to Taglio. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are attentive, talkative, but they also read the room and mood and know when to allow me to have 'my time' :) I usually get a lemon drip martini or a cosmo, both of which are so well made with each careful consideration of the measurements and presentation. There are huge TVs situated around an also huge bar, which makes Taglio perfect for watching sports. I appreciate how the kitchen and take out areas are segregated and don't interfere with the overall experience of sitting down for a drink or some delicious food. If your in Columbia Tusculum, stop in Taglio. You'll feel right at home and you'll leave with a full belly and a full heart. Thank you Taglio for your consistency, your kindness, and your dedication to your craft.

Yelp
Our go-to pizza during the pandemic has definitely been from Taglio, and I was surprised to find that I had never reviewed them before. Their pepperoni and hot honey pizza is outstanding! It combines tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, pepperoni, basil, and Mike's hot honey. And for the full experience, you have to try their Detroit deep dish ($26). This is my personal favorite, though more often than not we go with the traditional crust and get a half pepperoni and hot honey and half spinach and ricotta (tomato sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, fresh spinach, garlic). These two pizzas are my favorite of theirs, but they also have some other great topping combinations. My kids enjoy their cheese pizza, but again more often than not they like to order the uncooked dough ball and prepare their own dinner. They also have to-go pizza kits with all of their fixings to make a full pie. Oh and don't forget the to-go cocktails, growlers, wines, and craft beer. Ordering from their website is so easy and includes all of these options plus creative salads and appetizers as well. Just typing this up had me dreaming of placing my next order with Taglio!

Yelp
The pepperoni and hot honey deep dish pizza from Taglio is to be missed. If you go at lunchtime you can get a small pizza, and a salad, and a soda for just $13. Sign me up. Solo lunch date for one with a book.

Yelp
I have been following Taglio on Instagram for a few months now after seeing someone else I follow suggest it. I called and ordered the Pepperoni and Hot Honey Detroit Deep Dish. All I can say is wow this was oh so yummy. I wish I had came sooner. I can't wait to go back. Don't get me wrong for a pizza the price may seem high, but let me say you get what you pay for. Great flavored dough, perfect sauce and a cheese combo that was yum. The Pepperoni and other toppings were amazing and my first time ever having hot honey, especially on a pizza. All I can say is I can't wait to have another. I just wish it wasn't such a far drive from Liberty Township. I may even try to make this at home, but I doubt I can make it this good.

Yelp
This place is fire! Had the traditional hot honey pepperoni, and the specialty chicken pizza. Both were devoured, worth the trip.

Yelp
Service was excellent, ambiance was fine...the pizza was extremely tough, very difficult to cut or chew...don't know what happened but it wasn't good...

Yelp
Everyone ate well at this restaurant. My no tomato eater was able to order a cheese pizza with garlic and olive oil as the sauce. My meat eaters shared a supreme pizza that looked amazing. I had a delicious cherry and Gorgonzola salad with chicken added. The host also acted as our server, so getting his attention was tricky. The bar area was served by the bartender, and seemed to be a popular seating choice. Tables and chairs were comfortable and attractive.

Yelp
Yummy pizza (both Detroit and New York style). Tasty in store and as take out. Had it many times throughout the last year and had never disappointed. My favorites are the pepperoni hot honey and the deluxe/supreme one.

Yelp
I came to Taglio wanting to try their Detroit style pizza crust, as I thought I had never had it before. I ordered online ahead for pickup. That experience was easy and a 20% off discount code was offered for this. I went with their Spinach and ricotta, add mushrooms, with the Detroit crust. It was ready on time as promised. Although I only walked in for pickup, I was surprised at how large the inside was. There is a large bar with plenty of seating and many tables in several different rooms. Outside there is a large patio for dining in the nicer weather. It was a busy night but they seemed to have the takeout line moving along very efficiently. My disappointment here came with the pizza unfortunately. I can almost certainly blame this on the crust. First of all it seemed overdone on the outside (as you can see in photo). The crust itself was quite greasy, although the middle was better. The toppings and sauce were just okay. For the price, which was quite expensive, I didnt see much difference from Jets, which I also do not like. I did not realize that was Detroit style. Would I come back to try a different crust? Maybe? Especially during pizza week when the cost is reduced, but for my money, id probably pick elsewhere first. Nothing here wowed me.

Yelp
Arrived a bit late in the evening for for dinner. So, we were told about a 45 mins. The place was quite busy, not surprised, (and they were doing a monster carryout business, too, from what we saw. So, that was a good sign!) We don't know how long of a wait for table since we found seats a the bar and decided to eat there. We had been looking at the menu when we walked in so we already knew what we were going to get. Heads up, I forgot about deep dish pizza taking a long time to make compared to regular pizza, so we decided to go with the regular pizza. Still not a bad choice. I ordered a medium Spicy Italian, which is tomato sauce, pepperoncini, pepperoni, sausage, capicolla, mozzarella. I also added the "Hot Honey", which is honey drizzled over the pizza. Good Choice. When the pizza first came out, I wondered about the Honey being on it, as I could not taste a difference. Mentioned this to our bartender and he got a small cup of honey for me. Yes, it does make a NICE difference. You don't need much, just drizzle some over the slices, Nice touch! My wife ordered a medium Margherita, which is crushed organic tomatoes, garlic, evoo, basil, fresh mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano. Nice flavor, plenty of cheese, good overall taste. We ordered mediums, hoping they were good enough to save left-overs for watching basketball the next night. Pizza tasted just as good warmed up in the oven the next night! Pricing was about what you would expect for these "specialty" pizzas. Nothing too fancy, but good ingredients make for good, flavorful pizzas! The decor was nothing fancy, nothing romantic. Typical current day modern, noise inducing, decor. Background music was pointless, all you could hear was just the bass of whatever song was playing, so it just added to the background noise. (sorry that's a personal issue I have. But still, noise is noise. Not a big proponent of the "noisy room creates excitement" approach.) Bartender, hostess and waitress all friendly and seemed happy to serve. Definitely recommend it for pizza if your on that side of town, maybe even for a change of pace if your not from that area. Overall, good evening, good food!
