"I was excited that Cocktail Corner is returning with an extremely stacked lineup of bars pouring craft drinks in a contained area where attendees can enjoy cocktails without roaming the grounds with them." - Harry Cheadle

Hidden gem! Will definitely come back to The Cocktail Corner. Friendly staff, food amazing. Live band was relaxing. Indoor and out door seating. Full bar & great menu options.

This is such a great spot! The music is so good! Cocktails are delicious and unique, and food was delish! Please go here- you won’t be disappointed. I think of all the locations we’ve been in South Lake Tahoe, this is the best!

Google
We had a wonderful time!! We were there the first week of October and had wonderful service and great environment with outdoor seating next to a fire. We had the old fashioned, Basil Aviation Drink (forgot the name), and espresso martini, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was great!! We usually are very picky about our cocktails and these were well balanced. We would definitely recommend to anyone in the area! They were the best drinks we had during our stay.

Google
I particularly don’t like the way you haven’t set up as far as service system I’ve been in the service system for 20 years For me, that’s the worst one and the people expect to be tipped I am out and about and want to be served. I go to bars and restaurants that give service. (Not that you’re bartenders don’t give service, but they’re only at the bar and you can’t get service at a table) Mean you can’t order from the table and get a server to absolutely give you full service. It’s like 1/2 service. And that sucks Otherwise, your food quality is good But that system you have, I won’t go there again. I lived in Lake Tahoe for a very long time and that doesn’t work for personally me My friend sing there so I want to see them and this system is confusing and not full service That’s what your prices are reflecting, giving someone full service giving 20%

Google
I love this area for some good food and chill atmosphere. There are a couple of food options and the Tahoe Cocktail Corner is a good one. I have only had the burger but it was delicious. They also have a full bar.

Google
Fantastic spot in Tahoe. Great place to get a hot tottie near the fire pits with the snow near by. Highly recommend.

Closed at 9pm, not 10pm No food options at 8:30pm Service was average Nice atmosphere

Google
We were drawn here by the bubbly/brunch special and it was worth it! A bit of a wait to order at the bar but they seemed to low on servers. The guy behind the bar was a bit grumpy but the woman who was serving/taking orders made up for him! The brunch was delicious and loved the crispy breakfast potatoes. I had the eggs benedict with tomatoes instead of english muffin and it was very good! There was a live musician and he was awesome, as was the location and views - nestled right in the forest, we stayed for an extra pint because it was so enjoyable.

Yelp
Great place, service and atmosphere! The live entertainment was fantastic! We will be back when we come back to Tahoe!

Yelp
We like the location, and the kitchen puts out good food. Unfortunately the bartenders are rude and there is a constant base playing over bad speakers.

Yelp
Accidental last stop in my last Tahoe trip, and it was so much fun here! It wasn't very busy (came here late afternoon), but just the right amount of crowd. Outdoor seating is shared between this and another restaurant. There is ample seating. There was live music when I went.. a young, talented singer who sang so many of my favorite songs (Arctic Monkeys 505, Piano Man, Hotel California), he also was playing guitar, keyboard and harmonica! Kudos to him! The inside has an exquisite bar area, quite upscale and curated tastefully. Ordered a basic mimosa (also, shoutout to the bartender who served it despite the fact that they don't serve brunch drinks in the evening) and some fries. Mimosa had fresh orange juice and was strong (the perfect mix!) and the fries were good too. Was already full, so didn't order much, but had a great time here and would come back when I am back in Tahoe!

Yelp
We've been up to Tahoe about six different times and this was our first time here this year. Great place to go if you're looking for fun vibes, good music, and awesome food. Wonderfully crafted cocktails (to be expected from the name) and the bartenders are fast/pleasant. I had the burger sliders, didn't get a chance to take a picture, but they were some of the best sliders I've had! Also tried the rosemary garlic fries. Perfect flavor and right amount of crunch

Anna L.

Yelp
I would not recommend leaving the tab open at this place. I had a drink and apps. Couple of hours later I went to the bar to close my tab. The tab had random draft beer added to it but when mentioned, the bartender was super happy to take it off. That makes me think they do it on purpose. Super shady tactics (I worked as a bartender myself and I know that scam). Owners be aware! Food was good but I don't like being treated like an idiot.

Yelp
Solid veggie burger with a lot of good toppings! The flavors were all really good and the fries were great. I love that you can get food from here while also grabbing a beer from Tahoe Ale Works. The patio and fire pits are a great spot to enjoy the beautiful Tahoe air! Would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Love this place will surely come back. Very nice bar staff, great vibe. Good for watching football and or listening to live music. Cocktail were some of the best creations I've come across.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
Nice place to have a bite, a drink, hang out and enjoy good music. Fun atmosphere. Service is efficient. It feels like never ending summer. Beautiful setting surrounded by pine trees.

Yelp
I came here to watch the Forty Niners play and have brunch. I was more than satisfied. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was so good. I let my server Chante know that I've never been so sad about having to finish something. I ate it as slowly as I could towards the end.

Yelp
Hidden treasure in the back corner of the shopping strip at the 'Y'. Beautiful outdoor seating with a stage for live music. Modern, clean, indoor seating and bar with lots of televisions. Side room with billiards. Good menu. Creative cocktails. Great food. Only negative is they seem understaffed. Everyone is working hard but not enough staff for the demand.

Yelp
Stopped by here while my car was charging. It was 95 degrees and we needed some shade and some cool to drink. Music was playing in the courtyard between this place and AleWorX and both places were packed. Managed to find a table for two inside near the bar. Got in the long line that was out the door to order drinks but it moved quickly. The bartenders were hustling and moving drinks out. The staff was pleasant and although we didn't order any food what we saw coming out all looked yummy. Definitely a place to come back to. What made our stop here even more special was that the gentleman and his wife in front of me liked my tshirt that read "Kind people are my Kind of people" and bought me and my wife our drinks.

Yelp
Totally recommend this place for food, drinks or just meeting up with others. We were hungry and wasn't sure if we wanted pizza across the way or here. Turns out, you can order your drinks here and then go and order your pizza at the other restaurant across the outdoor seating area and it'll be brought to you. A large outdoor seating area right outside and a handful of tables/chairs or you can sit at the bar and enjoy a meal. Staff were terrific here. Super nice and accommodating. It's a casual and relax place and nothing is rushed so enjoy your time here. We have a few more days in the area and will be back. They have good music in the establishment to enjoy while we eat and drink. Lots of parking since it's in a plaza.

Yelp
I came here a year ago during my friend's bachelorette party for brunch and the food was okay but the service wasn't great at all. Not sure if it was because they were busy but no one seemed to have a kind tone. A year later, I'm I on vacation with my duster and we decided to get a drink here & I warned her about the service experience we had last time. Luckily, the evening crew I experienced this time around was the exact opposite of the first visit. The bartenders were great and their drinks were delicious. We grabbed some food (rosemary fries & tavern burger sliders- very good. The drinks we ordered were: Bees Knees, Espresso Martini (very strong coffee flavor), a rum & diet and Tahoe Tropic. The live music was a nice touch as well!
google avatar

Sandi S.

Yelp
Great people and fabulous cocktails. Yes, crafted and delicious. No short cuts here. We sat outside next to a fire pit and sipped our drinks. The view and ambience are incredible.
google avatar

Gio W.

Yelp
Best fried chicken sandwich you'll find in Tahoe! The patio seating's perfect for larger groups or for parties with dogs :) there's usually live music playing and the ambiance is fun and casual. Another nice thing about the setup is that you can enjoy food and drinks from next door, AleworX too!
google avatar

Theresa H.

Yelp
The service wasn't great. The bartenders were moving at the speed of slow and didn't care that there was a line of about 15 deep waiting to order cocktails. I've never been to a bar where you had to wait in line to order a beverage. Overall, it's a great location with AleWorx right next door but get some help.

Suzette

Yelp
Outstanding food, cocktails, service, with an outside buzzy vibe! We had oysters and shishito peppers and wonderful cocktails. 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Top notch American food Chefs burger - large juicy, tasty, the bread was like a spongy brioche, the forgivable was a nice touch - fries were seasoned with rosemary and plentiful with a good thinness Fried chicken sandwich - so so good! Juicy on the inside and a light crispy crunchy batter. Perfectly executed fried chicken Brussel Sprouts - flavorful, sweet and spicy. Deep fried Brussel sprouts always is a good choice anywhere Smoked old fashioned - cool to watch the process, but was ok, needed more dashes of bitters and slightly more syrup for my taste Bees Knees - refreshing and bright honey/pollen cocktail, super good Live music, great service, variety of indoor and outdoor seating Overall would definitely stop by here again if in Tahoe

Yelp
Don't sleep on this place. They have had several changes over the years, but they have mastered breakfast and ambiance! We walked in and were immediately greeted by Corbin who was busy doing something behind the bar, but still greeted us. What was important about his greeting is he immediately asked if we had been to restaurant before because if we had not, he needed to explain how their counter service works. Great first impression as Tahoe restaurants sometimes take the too laid back approach and expect people to ask or figure it out. Not Corbin. It also was the only reason we wandered to the other side of the restaurant that was newly remodeled and just added pool tables. We woukd not have known that area had seating if he didnt tell us. And im so glad he did because this side of the restaurant is where its at! The game was on and displayed on the wall in like a 10 ft x 10 ft screen (maybe bigger), but this isn't like a sports bar. The booths and lounge area were so well done and very upscale for a casual establishment (or so we thought). We sat down quickly realizing we forgot menus (counter service remember) and saw a small, but quality menu for brunch. We ordered a lobster benedict and the chicken and waffles. At this point in time, we had no idea what was in store for us. It's hard to mess breakfast up. It's also hard to nail breakfast. It's an age old oxymoron. When I say this is the best breakfast in Tahoe, and possible the best breakfast we have had in at last decade, I cannot emphasize this enough. First, the lobster benedict had a great portion lots of lobster, lots of potatoes! The crispy, but not over toasted English muffin had so much flavor (when have you ever eaten an English muffin and said wow- that shit is amazing...never until now) and was topped with perfectly butter poached lobster with perfectly poached eggs. The hollandaise (which is usually my favorite part of an eggs bene) was light, not too heavy, almost as if the chef knew what he was doing! It definitely ensured the sweetness of the lobster wasn't lost and was front and center, as it should be. And the potatoes. Potatoes are potatoes right? Wrong...I'm not even sure how they got so much flavor in their potatoes. They had red peppers and onions with them, but that did not make them soggy. They were cooked so well and remained a very nice crispy exterior and soft interior. This dish had every single element hitting at every right spot. Moving on to chicken and waffles. It's just fried chicken and a waffles... Simple enough right? Wrong! This chicken has to be brined for 7 days I swear. The batter...so crispy, fried to GBD (golden brown delicious), and the chicken was soooo moist and MELTED in your mouth. And the flavor!!!! The flavor had a hint of rosemary (i think) and was just making our taste buds explode. BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER EVER EVER! Please feel free to share your brining technique with me. Privately of course. Ok back to the dish...the waffle was a very traditional Belgium waffle, but again balanced this super flavorful fried chicken. And it's served with strawberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup on the side. You will slow clap for this one. Actually you'll slow clap for both of these dishes...trust and believe. We shared our love for the food and the staff and chefs were so appreciative. Which, just makes the experience better when people care about what they are putting out. The music being played was so perfect too. Very chill and easy listening (no words). We were very hungover and just wanted a good meal before heading home. We didn't think we would be having a life changing breakfast that will keep us coming back on every visit to Tahoe from here on out! What's crazy, is we come to Tahoe every two months...and no one has ever mentioned this place. It's great for a couple...its great for a big party. It's a dining experience...its also a craft cocktail lounge and has live music and pool tables to hang out all day. Also has a great patio too! So diverse! More places need to take notes from this establishment. Legitimately one of the THE BEST places in all of the lake! Can't wait to come back and try dinner. RUN DONT WALK PEOPLE.

Yelp
Starting with the cocktails, they are amazing. Truly hand crafted. My wife gets the refreshing Cucumber Splash, and I stay near and dear to my go to cocktail, the Kentucky Style Old Fashioned. Both are about perfect. Uber back to the cabin perfect if you have a few. We've had the burgers here. Both are delicious. Full side of fries or salad makes for a complete, but not too healthy meal. We're up in Tahoe a lot, and this is now our favorite place to go. Order at the bar, take a table and wait for the waiter or waitress to serve you. Locals- they have a special too. Ask about it!
google avatar

Giselle S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Stopped by for brunch, they have a great menu. I ordered the chilaquiles (with both red & green salsa) super crispy & flavorful! My husband ordered the steak & eggs, the steak was cooked perfectly to his liking & the potatoes on the side were so yummy, not sure what they season them with but YUM! The mimosas were delish, but the Chai Sidecar I ordered topped it! It was the perfect drink to enjoy fire side with some nice live music. They have indoor & outdoor seating & many fire pits with rocking chairs. You order at the bar & the food is brought out to your table. The service was friendly & quick! Definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, I can't wait to come back here when we're in Tahoe again!

Yelp
The Cocktail Corner is such a fun place to go, especially in the summer. Order the Bees Knees cocktail, it's the business. The live music played in the outdoor seating area, the wine on tap, and the elevated menu. It's a tahoe treat, treat yourself.

Marisa L.

Yelp
Common local sentiment that for the most part , the bar tenders lack a basic respect for their local customers. Everyone is tired of it but no one feels empowered to say anything. From a local to a local, be nice, greet people kindly and do your job which is ..... service. Not hard.

brian m.

Yelp
Great outdoor atmosphere! Good food. Super dog friendly. Can't wait to go back. Also it's great that you can get beers next door at their sister restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
After a few hours enjoying Lake Tahoe by boat we were ready to relax and enjoy some cocktails and snacks. We visited The Cocktail Corner which was a wonderful way to wrap up the day on the lake. They have a huge selection of drat beers and full bar. We sat outside on the patio and had wonderful service while enjoying some life music. We were there in July and the weather was amazing. We ordered a mix of cocktails and appetizers and everything came in a timely manner. Cocktails were well poured and garnished. If you are in Tahoe this is a great place to stop for an afternoon cocktail.

Yelp
We go here often. Love the servers and staff. Burger is always delicious and fries on point. Cocktails well executed. Great, fun location, you can hop between here and Aleworx and enjoy the music and fire pits in between.

Christine K.

Yelp
Yummy- great service -delicious food! Always a pleasure to dine there! Staff is friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Love this place! The cocktails are fabulous. Band was playing so got to enjoy the outside atmosphere too.

Yelp
I came in on a Monday, hardly anyone in the place, so you'd think anyone would greet me. I sat down and waited about 10-15 minutes until I figured out on my own that no one waits on the tables. Finally figured out I needed to go order at the bar/counter. Took the guy another 15 minutes to make my drink.. which he just eventually hollers over that it's ready. Another 20 ish minutes goes by and I walk up to the bar/counter again and order a burger. It was really good. I went back to the bar/counter after I was done eating. Was considering getting another drink, two people behind the bar walked back and forth and never once smiled, said they would be with me in a minute. Just nothing. I had to say excuse me a few times after I stood there at least 5 minutes with no other customers waiting there. Just me being ignored. I decided to close out and leave. I've been in this place every once in a while. And this seems like the usual not great service they offer. Otherwise I'd go in more often. It's just always a bad experience customer service wise unfortunately.

Yelp
I had grabbed dinner next door at the Beer place., and wanted a little Cocktail and libation to go with it. Their Place is located literally next to fire pit and large patio and is adjacent to the other restaurant. They have Classic Cocktails but are elevated and are quite tasty. I had a Smoked Old fFashion with Woodford Reserve and the glass is smoked with cinnamon chips on a oak plank. Then they add the Ice cube and simple syrup and a Luxardo cherry along with the Bourbon. I also had a Boston Sour which had Templeton Rye and an egg white which was also quite delicious. All their drinks I had tried were really good and expertly made. Bartenders are friendly and quite informative while they make you your libations. Enjoy the fire pit or unwind in the Bar next time you want a Craft Cocktail in a chill environment.

Akiko S.

Yelp
Good was good and service was awesome. People that work there are amazing and the ambience is really nice for a quick bite or even an elongated sit down. Craft cocktails are amazing!! The only thing that put a bad taste in my mouth was that I noticed an employee moving all of these stacks of heavy liquor boxes... one after the other. Wondering why they don't have a dolly to make employees lives a little less stressful. Interesting. Anyway other than that it's an awesome place.

Yelp
Stopped by for a cocktail midday on our way back to our resort. They were pretty good! The craftsmanship and creativity were impressive for a little bar in the corner of a grocery store strip mall. This is no divey bar--it is well lit with natural light pouring through the modern, glass roll up door. They share an outdoor patio space, complete with roaring firepit, with the tap house next door. All in all, a clean and trendy place to relax after a day of outdoor fun. We had one cocktail each and they were all good. I liked my smoked rosemary margarita a lot. It was tangy, smoky, and herbal. The chocolate espresso martini was strong, but the coffee flavor was excellent. Give this place a try. It was about on a Friday afternoon, but the service was still good and it was a nice place to catch some sports, as well.
google avatar

Shira M.

Yelp
Opened by a local guy, they have great cocktails! Boston Sour and Bandito are my favorites. The only thing better would be if they had St. George gin! Fun place to meet friends and bring out of area guests. Pricy but worth it for a fun treat!

Buddy D.

Yelp
Pros: Nice patio Cons: Chicken sandwich was awful, no one offered me a glass of water for 45 minutes until I left, and food took 30 minutes despite place being empty.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever had! Will be dreaming of this sando often. Great patio, there was a live band setting up as we were leaving.
google avatar

Yelp
When visiting South shore, this is my go-to place with my spouse and family. After a long day, it's a nice place to lounge by a fire pit with a good drink. Pros: -Great tasting cocktails- some of the best in the area! -Amazing ambiance outside, especially when music is going -Always good conversation with guests -Location is great: you don't get the heavenly village crowds -always available parking in the lot Cons: -Expensive! One cocktail costs $15 + tip -The bartenders have the worse attitude I have ever seen at a bar. I've been here 20+ times, and not once have the bartenders been friendly, let alone social. A couple of times I've even heard them complaining of customers and how slow it was (= not making any money), even though I'm standing right in front of them at the bar. Extremely unprofessional and I only come back for the music and they do make a good drink, but can you be nice and smile to guests? Wouldn't hurt.
google avatar

Yelp
I believe the Cocktail Corner took over the pour your own wine bar. Unfortunate we never got to try it but happy that a new cocktail bar has opened up! The pour your own section of Cocktail Corner looks to be beer as well with Tahoe AleWorX right on the other side of the patio being pour your own beer. Not sure how if they are going to combine their spaces eventually as I saw a sign for a new restaurant opening up in or at the AleWorX space. Confusing... Anyways.. I wasn't sure if it was reserved seating or just a free for all so we asked the bartender. He said its open seating all while seeming confused as to why he was even working there and very unenthusiastic. We ordered two drinks. The quality of the drinks and the price of the drinks were great! We also enjoyed them outside in the shared patio area. There are 4 fire pits with chairs all around the fire pit that will get filled up quickly, especially on a cold day, or when live music is playing. Parking may or may not be tough as its a shared lot with many other businesses.

Katy O.

Yelp
The cocktails are amazing! . We ordered the code sliders, popcorn chicken and ff, the sliding we're a very underwhelming and a frozen piece of fish, deep fried and put on a dry bun for $20. The popcorn chicken was frozen chicken. That was lukewarm. The ff we're cold, but the flavor was amazing. If you want a great cocktail in a cool environment, I would totally recommend this place for the food I would highly pass.

Yelp
We heard about this newer cocktail bar, so we went there twice over the past two weeks. It sits adjacent to Lake Tahoe AleWorkX, which is the sister restaurant to this bar. Our first impression was very good. The weather was fantastic, and the doors are these large garage style doors so there is a breezy indoor/outdoor feel to the place. Both times we went, there were a good amount of people on the patio and live music. Had a really nice vibe. Decor is modern rustic, and there was a healthy mix of locals and tourists. We only had drinks both times, but we were very impressed. They make very nice craft cocktails. My other half had a Kentucky Old Fashioned both times, where they actually place the glass over smoking wood before serving, and he really liked it. The first time we went, I had the jungle bird. It was very very good! The next time we went the bartender made me a drink off the menu, a lemon drop martini as I wanted something sweet, but not sickly sweet. It was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Perfect for a warm Sunday afternoon. The food menu looks very nice, although, not many options for us because we don't do meat or cheese, but if we were eating here, we could get the bruschetta. we will definitely be back to try more drinks!!!
google avatar

Jim T.

Yelp
Great vibe and good cocktails! We ordered 7 drinks and all were well mixed. Boston sour was my favorite, loved the cherries on top. The cosmo was a bit too sweet for my taste but everything else was well balanced. Friendly staff and the setting was energetic with loud music. At night there was live music out in the patio. Lots of dogs hanging out in the patio too. Overall this was a lovely addition to our short Tahoe trip. Will be back!

Yelp
Great place for cocktails and food from neighbor restaurants. You must go to bar to place order and then friendly staff delivers food to your table. Lots of parking available.

Jesica D.

Yelp
Wow excited about this place. The first day we spotted in the bartender wasn't friendly at all I was really disappointed. But I opted to Try again today. Both people working today were friendly suggested cocktails and chatted about the changes! Glad I came back. And double win, I can now have cocktails while the hubby has beer at ale works!

Carol R.

Yelp
Lovely place to eat. Outdoor eating with a fire pit and live music with guitarist playing. Many tables, a fire pit and not crowded on a Monday night. Many people brought their dogs. I had a beet salad from Cocktail corner and a side of French fries and a drink called Bees Knees. Everything was really good. I especially liked the beet salad as it had a lot of greens in it. The excellent salad, fries and cocktail came to 44 dollars without tip. Worth it cause it was a full meal with the ambiance of eating outside. Good place if you want to bring your dog and listen to some live music.
google avatar

Charlotte S.

Yelp
I love your alcoholic beverages and the fact that it is right next to it so that you can get a pizza when you're buzzed out of your mind. would recommend.

Danielle J.

Yelp
Came here with family for dinner and the cocktails and food are great. The Old fashioned was especially good. Highly recommend this place for drinks.

Lisa H.

Yelp
We stopped in the Cocktail Corner tonight to have dinner. We were excited that there was a Locals Membership that advertised a burger and signature cocktail for $20 with a $5/month membership. So we signed up! BUYER BEWARE! This is Mon - Thurs only and not listed in any fine print on the website. Its only in tiny print on a bar card. We got there and were informed it was M-Th only. We are local, happy to supply proof in the face of the indignant bartender that I think somehow might've feel like we were tourists. So the dinner went from $20 to $50 for a burger, one drink and beer. The cosmo I ordered should be simple enough but it was a Rose's Lime drink with a splash of whatever else is in a cosmo and undrinkable for $16. The burger was ok but the fries were so hard, we thought they'd break our teeth. Even as we walked out, we said good night but the bartender just looked the other way. Even if we were tourists, they deserve better food/service than this. I think the membership terms not listed on the site might almost be illegal. Won't be back. I will cancel the membership. Awful when Aleworx is so great.

Gary S.

Yelp
I didn't feel welcome to be there. And I became ill almost immediately after I ate the two piece chicken meal. I can't substantiate the food making me sick, but I can tell you that the server was worse than a robot.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch and a glass of wine. Great setting and good service. Food was excellent. Will be back.

Yelp
I went for brunch and had the absolute BEST lobster Benedict. The hollandaise was perfect.
