Yelp
Very wide selection of mostly Asian food from Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China, S. Korea, Malaysia, etc. Excellent prices--never pay $4 for a single serving of coconut water again. Wide selection of seafood.
Good variety of fruits & vegetables--primarily those typically cultivated in Asia & the Pacific. You really need to know what you're doing as far as produce, though; until I came here, I had thought bok choy was one thing, but it turns out there are many different cultivars to choose from.
If you're like me & have never lived in any of the aforementioned cultures, can read up on selecting & cooking with these foods, and/or just buy random things to try--you can definitely afford to do that here. This is a great one-stop shop to get many different things to try.
They also have a good selection of certain inexpensive housewares (e.g., tableware, cookware, cleaning supplies), restaurant supplies (disposable chopsticks, napkin holders, melamine dishes, etc.) and a large selection of, uhh, red holiday and/or party supplies (?), the exact nature of which is a mystery to me.
On the minus side, they don't appear to have a/c. There's an excessive heat advisory, and I felt so sorry for the employees when I went shopping there today. Miserable working conditions; a problem that could be remedied. The heat will also cause the unrefrigerated foods to spoil more quickly. Also, some areas, like the bathroom, are downright grimy. I feel like that should bother the management of a food place. Those are some big minuses for me. If not for those two things, I would have given the place 5 stars.
