I am nourished and satisfied by the exceptional quality of this fish soup. This is truly an addictive and delightful meal! I affirm that the plain soup is remarkably flavourful. It is clear, rich, and deeply satisfying, proving that simple ingredients can achieve extraordinary taste. This broth is a comforting and excellent foundation for the entire dish. I’m grateful for the spongy, thick fish slices—they are cooked perfectly to retain their delicate texture and freshness. They demonstrate the high standard of ingredients and cooking skill maintained here. I celebrate the spicy sambal chili sauce, which is the perfect fiery counterpoint to the gentle soup. The powerful kick of the chili elevates every bite and creates an unforgettable flavor profile that I crave.

Very good business and long queue. But wasn't really blown away as indicated by their 2023 Michelin sign. An above average experience with fresh fishes. Would probably eat again if queue is short. Else wouldn't really worth to queue. The fish soup was priced at 5.50 and with rice was 6 sgd

In my estimation, you should experience this for yourselves. It certainly seems to have earned its reputation. As taste is subjective, everyone has their own preferences. My family found it enjoyable. The portion size was quite reasonable.

Decided to give this place a try for myself to see the positive experiences people had and that it was awarded with a Michelin Award in 2023. 🌟 There wasn't any queue when I went and got my Mixed Fish Soup promptly. I would say that for $5.50, the portion size leans towards the small side. Soup is aplenty, but there were more vegetables than fish. Each fish chunk was rather small as well. I liked the taste of the sliced fish. It had a really fresh and clean taste, and the texture was good. Fried fish was okay. Soup was sweet from the cabbage and fish. I tried both chilli sauce options, and I leaned towards the soy sauce with chilli padi more because the soy sauce brings out the sweetness of the fish. The other chilli sambal was spicy and kinda covers the fish entirely in terms of flavours. Overall, not really sure what the hype was about for the michelin stars nor the high reviews. Its a rather "not bad" standard of a fish soup place to me at least. Would rate this a 3.5/5 🌟 experience.

Google
I ate this fish soup growing up and really it’s one of the best but I minus one star because I realised after lunch hours the soup will be dilated as they add water so the flavour of the soup becomes like plain water so abit sad will avoid after lunch timing

If you have tried the ubi counterpart, you may be wondering if the Michelin judging panel  got these 2 stalls mixed up. I visited on a quiet Saturday evening and ordered their mixed fish soup. I also added fish roe and egg floss with rice. The total bill came up to be $9. While they share the name, the experience is quite different. Unlike its Ubi counterpart known for its robust flavors, Tai Seng Fish Soup in Taman Jurong focuses on a lighter broth. This allows the fresh ingredients to truly shine. My mixed fish soup boasted generous portions of fried fish, 3 slices of batang, some leafy green, tomato and a small cube of tofu. However, the batang slices seemed heavily marinated, similar to the Ubi  brand. This might not be ideal for those who prefer the natural texture of the fish. The saving grace, however, is the tangy chilli sauce! Packed with fiery spices, it goes perfectly with the fried fish. Nonetheless, If you're in the area and looking for a comforting bowl of fish soup, this stall is definitely worth a try
