TailGate Brewery Hendersonville

What a fun afternoon! My wife and I enjoyed a couple of flights and sandwiches on the patio overlooking the marina. Ally was very sweet and talked us through all the options on our first time visiting. I particularly enjoyed the Buffalo chicken sandwich. The sesame seed covered roll made it really tasty. My wife enjoyed the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, but it is quite spicy. Even hotter than the Buffalo, so factor that in. 😀 Altogether a wonderful afternoon enjoying great beer and being taken care of by a very courteous staff. We will be back many times. 😀

Our first time there and there was a trainee so we gave them grace. Great beer selections of some amazing unique flavors. My Cobb salad was great it was super fresh with quality ingredients. My husband was very impressed with the Meat Lover’s Pizza especially since he took some of it home for leftovers and it was amazing reheated! Did I mention it was amazing REHEATED… that’s a quality pizza 🍕… SERIOUSLY. Go check them out.

Yup this Is the place. Walked in to an open space, vibrant with color. Zach picked my first flight, Thank you Zach, great recommendations. Truly a great drafter. The aroma coming off the beer was refreshing and smelled really good. Haven't had that experience in awhile. Amazing selection to pick from, nice big beer menu. You get to see where the beer is made and I love the drafters saying hello to everyone who walks in. Honestly good Nashville chicken sandwich and garlic knot appetizer. This was a hit and a win. Thank you. Con lime, hobby hazy, steam gold, peach wheat was the flight in question.

The atmosphere is fantastic! The colors on the paintings are amazing! The food is absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of pizzas to choose from, or you can make up your own! Lots of tasty appetizers to snack on while you wait for your main dish, too! There's definitely something for everyone, from kids to adults, even the picky eaters! They have a sauce to go with everything as well. You can enjoy thier great selection of beers on tap while watching football! The servers are always friendly, and never make you feel rushed like some other places I've been to. The management team runs this location well, it is definitely my favorite TailGate location. Even when they are busy, you don't wait crazy long for your food.

Overall great experience. Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, nice lake view, extensive beer menu. Menu centered around pizza but had small sandwich & app sections. We had the hot Nashville chicken, which had a kick & I can take spice, the burrata grilled cheese, & the waffle fries. They were patient with our questions & accommodated our requested modifications. The food arrived quickly, hot, & was delicious. Loved the sourdough rolls & the seasoned waffle fries are addictive. The beer menu, as I stated, was extensive. Unable to decide between two pumpkin beers, they let me try both - Dough: Pumpkin Roll stout & a Pumpkin Spice Latte ale. I went with the stout and it was fabulous! They also offer house wines, so everyone in my party was satisfied. Staff was beyond friendly. Not much else to say. :) Nice weather so sat outside & enjoyed the view of the lake across the street. Also dog -friendly, which always appreciate. Truly a great find. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic place to take the whole family. The beer is top notch and there is plenty of seating. We brought some board games and chilled on the patio for a couple of hours and the kids loved it. Great view of the marina as well.

My wife and I love this location! We have gone a handful of times to enjoy some food, drinks and the views here. Recently, we hosted a pre-wedding gathering with our families and the staff absolutely killed it! They were constantly checking in on us and seeing if we need anything and if anyone did, they were very quick to take care of orders and needs! Over a week after the event, our families are still talking about the location, service and the food and drinks. We can't wait to go back to this location!

TailGate Brewery in Hendersonville is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun, and perfect whether you’re stopping in with friends, family, or just looking to unwind. Their beer selection is incredible—always rotating with something new to try, but consistently well-crafted and full of flavor. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel like a valued guest every time. The food is just as impressive—creative pizzas, fresh ingredients, and plenty of options to pair perfectly with your brew. You can tell they put real effort into making this more than just a brewery; it’s a community gathering place. Every visit has been consistently excellent, which says a lot. If you’re in Hendersonville, TailGate Brewery is a must. Great beer, great food, and even better service.

It is only fitting that my friend who was getting married the weekend we we're in town wanted to have a pre-celebration party at a brewery. We had one side of the establishment closed off for just the wedding celebration party and we could either go up to the bar in order with our tab, or we could wait for the servers to come around to each table. It was a busy night with all of the wedding, people as well as it being a Friday nights, we thought it was best to go up to the bar directly ourselves versus waiting for the staff to catch up with all the customers on the wedding side. There were more than enough beer options to choose from as well as lots of different food options. We ordered both. Of course, it was a fun night with all of our friends, but I can also imagine that it is a very packed and fun night there under normal circumstances.

First time at the Hendersonville location. Ordered the Thanksgiving pizza which was very tasty. Great service by Halle. All the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, they were out of the beer we wanted, but we settled on another good one. Huge dining space.

Always love half off Wednesday. Hubbs & I obsess over the hot honey Detroit style. Staff is great super friendly.

Great pizza and drinks were good, one person and 70 dollars later. Not a place I can go alot for that price. Might save it for special occasions. Kinda self service. Great place on the lake.

Been to quite a few locations and this is my favorite. Rotating beers and pizzas and a beautiful lake view. Lots of seating inside and out and the staff is the best!!! My favorite beers are the seasonal cereal beers, they are amazing! Love the Thanksgiving pizza too! Everything we've had here is great.

We ordered the Detroit style pepperoni pizza for pickup and we absolutely enjoyed it. Staff is attentive and the location is clean with enough space for families and parties. My partner has officially named it our new pizza spot. Try their whipped ricotta and add some hot honey to it...delicious as a dip or pizza topper.

Ordered the adult chicken nuggets and pretzel bites. Absolutely delicious, simple grub. Everyone was friendly and prompt. Tons of TVs with different happenings. Brew tanks visible. Marina views. The beers I sampled were all good and completely different from one another.

Ehh. Not bad and not great. Good beer selection. Friendly service and clean property. Was there on a weekday afternoon and it was dead for lunch. Maybe it's a hot spot on weekends. Has that potential

We just can't stay away from this place. The entire staff is like family to us. We are always greeted with a warm welcome every time we arrive. Great place to enjoy some football and a wide variety of rotating brews!

Always love Tailgate! The staff is amazing and always coming by our table asking if we need anything. The pizza and wings are our favorite but Tailgate beer never disappoints. We would recommend Tailgate any day but especially a nice sunny day out on the patio with a view of the lake!

The food was absolutely amazing! I can't believe I have live in this area for so long and never knew about this place. It has now become my new favorite place to get pizza. I had a spicy vodka pizza and my husband had the Nashville hot pizza! Both amazingly good and I really cannot decide which one I like better! The loaded taco fries were amazing and I cannot stop thinking about the fries. I need to go back to get more fries! I'm not a huge cider person or a beer person at all but OMG the flavors were amazing. The ambience of the place was chill laid-back and of course, closer to the lake, which I love! The service and the people were amazing so nice so kind again I really can't say great things about the players. We truly truly truly enjoy our time. I cannot wait to bring more people back with me and try more amazing pizzas! Sorry, I did not take pictures of my food this review. It was so good. It just went away quickly, but I will try better next time.

Love this place. Have been to Headquarters, Music Row, East Nashville and Hendersonville. Best service ever!!!!

Great location near the lake. It has great beer and pizza along with excellent outdoor seating.

They have a pickle pizza and it's soooo good. Oh it's soo good it's got a dill infused olive oil as the base with pickles on top.

Sorry- no pictures! The pizza was so good I was not interested in taking a picture! The Vodka pizza was so good! The beer was good too. Just be sure to bring ID. I am over 50 and did not have my purse and the server had to ask the manager to serve me a beer. She was very nice, however! We will be back to try other pizzas!

The pizza and beer were all delicious here!!! Highly recommend! We were here on a quiet Sunday afternoon and sat inside where there were multiple TV's with football on and the music was great too. I suspect this location gets very busy in the summer with the lake traffic- but they are expanding, so maybe it will be all set for Summer. The large pizza was enough for 5 adults to have one slice each with 2 slices leftover that were shared by folks. We also had pretzel bites which were yummy.

Excellent beer selection and top-notch cuisine. Got a Hot Honey Pepperoni & Jalapeño pizza, Detroit Style, that really packed a punch. Generous portion of cheese, loads of hot honey drizzle, fantastic flavor. It was a little pricey at $28, but worth the occasional splurge. Bartenders were extremely friendly and will let you taste anything they have on tap. Highly recommend!

I honestly don't know how this place has almost 4.5 stars. It's very expensive for the quantity and quality of food you get ($10 for a pretty small, crappy side salad) and everyone's pizza and food was just okay. We had a large 20 person party with an open tab and ordered 100s of dollars in food and drinks and they wouldn't even let us eat the birthday cake we brought with us. No one had a good experience. I wish I had my time and money back, I would have had a better meal at McD's. I'll never be back.

The beer is great, the food is great, the playlist is usually great, love that it's dog friendly on the patio. My only complaint is unsupervised kids. I sat on the patio with my two dogs and a whole gaggle of children came on to the patio running and screaming. Eventually they sat at the table next to me (parents inside, drinking) and asked if they could pet my dogs.. I told them no and then they just sat there and stared at my boyfriend and I and the dogs. I didn't order anything else and left.

We like Tailgate pizza. I do hate they change the menus up every so often. My most favorite pizza was removed from menu (taco pizza). The frozen drinks are nice especially on a hot day. This location has a decent patio space, some covered some not. The inside is pretty spacious also. Lots of seating.

The pizza is fine. The people weren't very friendly, and that was ok, too, seeing as I delivered the food and drinks to the table myself. I got our refills, too. People were being serviced, but we weren't drinking alcohol, so there's that to consider. Really appreciate being nickle and dimed for Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper, but I can afford it. Also 1/2 lb. of chicken wings equals 4. The menu doesn't say 4 wings for $9.99, it says half a pound. Just know that 1/2 lb of wings is 4 total wings. My son left hungry. The frosty reception from the red headed bar tender was a terrible way to kick off lunch. I wouldn't recommend this joint, especially considering the other options on Saunders Ferry Rd.

YOU walk up to the register and order. YOU have to pick your food up at the counter. YOU have to fill up your own drinks. But THEY still ask for a huge tip. I believe it highlights 25%. What are we tipping you for?? Also they charge for parmesan cheese. 3 pizza, 4 people and they'll give you a tiny 2oz ramekin. This was my last time giving them a dime. I'm not against tipping. I tip at all food establishments. But 20% is for restaurants the wait and serve you.

Taylor is hands down the best. She makes my kids feel so special and really goes the extra mile to make us feel like family. I absolutely love when she is working!!!

Good beer... a large selection! Food is really good. Get the hot honey pizza and garlic knockers... Great for kiddos. Make sure to bring sidewalk chalk if you sit on the patio! Staff is always nice and attentive.

Ever since we found this spot, it has been our go to for pizza. I don't know what it is about the Hot Honey Pizza, but that thing is perfection. The crust is always perfect and the sweet and spicy balance is perfect. We've devoured at least 15 of these pizzas and it is always consistently great. Loaded waffle fries are great too. I get them with cheese, onions, jalapeno and ranch. Serving size is decent, not soggy, just..... great. The Garlic Knockers. This is what I was looking forward to the most. I really wanted to love them as I am a huge fan of garlic bread, knots and rolls. The dough and the cheese is perfect. I just do not like the taste of the minced garlic on top. It taste like its a spoon full of jar minced garlic. It falls short of a nice fresh garlic butter sauce. The employees are great and always friendly!

Great draft beer selection. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Pizza is good. Specials throughout the week. Cool vibe with plenty of seating. Service is pretty good and helpful.

Washed up location trying to catch the Hendersonville family big wave. Surfs up. We walked in with a pink sunset nesting on Old Hickory Lake. The lakeside eatery boasts dog friends areas, pricey pizza, walk up service plus a large in-house beer selection donning its namesake. My expectations were a 6, happy to give it a solid 10. Ambience The dark wood, broody brewery vibe scream hipster high-end. Walk up counter service no one will greet you, so have your order ready and proceed. A connecting room has bright lights and screaming kids avoid at all costs. Service These servers don't work for individual tips and it's as obvious as a neon sign. Service is short, curt and fast. There are no smiles, but it matches the atmosphere somehow and works for this concept of eatery. The Pizza Oh the saving grace of cheese and kick ass quality ingredients. The Detroit style BBQ Chicken was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Chicago, NYC, LA, Vegas and Miami included in that. The cheese to crust proportions were perfect. Cheese to the crust with crunch oh my. Absolutely fantastic! The regular pizza addition was good, but just pizza so get lots of toppings. Beer Excellent, should be colder. Tons of choice. Tab 89 for two pizzas, a beer and coke. Worth it! Tons of screaming kids, fast service, and excellent Detroit style pizza. Worth the drive and thankful for this new addition to the lake skyline. A+

Best pizza in town! We always end up here after cruising the lake. Everyone is super friendly. Seriously hands down the best pizza in town, many choices of beer too! We love watching sports while enjoying some good time with our friends and family! Highly recommend this place!

This is our favorite pizza place in Hendersonville. Always perfectly cooked. The people are great (Kara is our favorite). Half price pizza on Wednesday and delicious beer! What more do you need!!!

I ordered my favorite pizza-Detroit style whipped ricotta pizza top shelf. As always it was delicious and the service is always fast and pleasant. I highly recommended Tailgate for dine in or take out.

Food was tasty and fresh. The service was attentive and our drinks stayed full. The beer variety was great and plenty to choose from. The ambiance was similar to that or most of the other locations but free parking is why we chose this location.

Very casual sit where you want place- manager was so friendly brought us flights of beer to try. Pizza was awesome Detroit style thick but super flavorful. We will def be back!

We are new to the area and this place was recommended to us. I cannot even adequately describe just how DELICIOUS the food was...ALL OF IT!! We didn't think to take photos of the food, but we had the boneless wings, the fries, a Hot Honey Pizza, and a Cinnamon Roll Pizza for dessert--all out of this world!!!! From the time we arrived, from the first interaction with the guys taking our order to the super kind waitresses, the friendliness and smiles were contagious and made for an even better experience than just the food alone. What a cool place--our new favorite!!! Can't wait to go back!! Can't recommend it enough!!

Best pizza in greater Nashville? At a BREWERY?! This place gets my vote! My wife says it's the sauce. I think it's the dough. We're probably both right... Fun, open-concept atmosphere. Great place to bring kids. Friendly and attentive staff. Beer was fantastic (as you'd expect). If you love pizza, beer, watching sports and supporting a local business, this is the place people!

Our first trip to Tailgate didn't disappoint. Great service, friendly and quick. Food was great, awesome waffle fries, my son loved his pizza. My Rueben was really good as well. We'll load up those fries next time :-). Definitely a recommended place :-)

Just received my order and unfortunately will not be ordering again. The honey pizza and s'mores pizza crust was so hard I feel like I have tmj from trying to chew it. The honey pizza had zero flavor and full of grease. The only savior to this $95 order was the cheese bread. I love supporting local but this was terrible.

In town for a soccer tournament and this place was awesome to bring the team to. Top notch service by all the staff for our large group. Food and drinks were great. Thanks so much!

Went back again and had the wings. Some of the best I've ever had! Also had a custom flight, pretzel bites, and southwestern salad (all what you would expect). Can't go wrong with the wings and pizza and the selection of beers. Also, posted some pictures of the art this time.

Love this place. The pizza is delicious. I love the sweet cream ricotta. Also appreciate the views of the lake. The beers on top are delicious. You also have the option to purchase, and take home. Service is friendly. I recommend.

Thought it would be nice to check this place out because word of mouth said it was nice, however it was lame. It was like hanging out in a garage. The TVs were extremely loud and couldn't carry on a conversation with our party. Had the Hops beer and the Tennessee Gold. Hops sucked, Gold was better. You have to go to the counter to order and put a card on file, wasn't a fan of that. In the end we left and had a better time somewhere else. Don't waste your time.

Absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is amazing and the atmosphere suits everyone.... Families with kids, dog owners can chill on the patio and if you just want to stop for a great beer with friends this place is perfect! The pizza is solid too!

I've been a regular at the other Tailgate locations but the new one in Hendersonville might be my favorite yet. Can't wait to go back in warm weather to sit on the patio and enjoy the lake views!
