what a gem. they had bingo going on and a bunch of people playing poker. definitely a great local spot. they even came by giving people free rubber duckies! didnt get a picture of the pizza, but the gluten free version of the angry vegan was pretty amazing

We've been a few times since moving near by. We often get half of burgers on Monday. Burgers are big and well priced, drinks are good, the bands are usually pretty solid. A few times the wait staff was a little inattentive, took 25 minutes to get greeted after sitting when it wasn't busy our first time there. Other than that it's generally good. We don't usually go when it's super busy, it gets pretty loud and crowded, but that fits the classic bar scene if you're into it.

Great atmosphere is right, the food is pretty good, but what I appreciate MOST is I can walk down and chill on the patio and get fantastic service and catch some live music. Like everyone is welcome. Can't wait to make it a frequent spot. 7/3/25 updating from 4 to 5 stars because of the person (Jonathan, forgive me if that spelling is incorrect) who literally always brings me my veggie burger. I apologized to him because I'm always ridiculously excited when I see my burger coming and he said something to the effect "I love my job so I love making people happy" 👏🙌🫶 My waitress was also fantastic, Holly I think, kind and attentive. Love it here!

Tailgate Tavern is one of my favorite spots in Parker. Both times I have visited, the live music has been exceptional. Tonight’s band, The Fuzzheads, were absolutely incredible with a great set list, variety and all members are very talented. The food and drink selection is solid. Seating is well thought out whether you want to be close to the band, tucked further back, or outside on the patio. I prefer sitting inside but it is nice to have the option. The service is spot on, and the atmosphere is fun yet welcoming. Parking is easy, and being right in downtown Parker makes the whole experience even better. I cannot think of a single negative thing about this bar.

GREAT music venue and it's always a happening place with a fun crowd and lots of dancing especially on Fridays and Saturday nights with a genre variety of music. There is kereoke on Wednesdays and country music and dancing on Thursdays. Staff are always friendly with consistent quick service.

Stopped in for wings and a beer and to watch Monday Night football. A bit dissopointing that our table of 7 (and everyone else in the dining room) could not watch the feature game on the big screen because "the manager sets the programing and we are not allowed to change it". Crazy right!!! Our server, Liz, did here best and did a great job. The wings were large and tasty. Probably will not be returning to Tailgate Tavern.

I've loved this place! The vodka cherry limeade drink is my favorite. The food is excellent for "bar food". I love the outdoor patio, and the live music is great. I love that. They also have breakfast. Great location with many other bars and restaurants nearby if you want to bar hop.

Lunch with "the girls" - we were on the patio with shade umbrellas, and an attentive server named Aspen. I ordered the Cobb Salad ($14.99). It was OK but nothing special. The lettuce was 90% iceberg (not my fave) and the chicken was diced. (I much prefer larger strips of grilled chicken that resemble a breast; the little diced pieces could almost be anything.) Even on a weekday lunchtime, traffic on Mainstreet is noisy. I think next time we should sit indoors--but then there is the bar noise. The Tailgate doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is - a tavern with a fairly wide range of food choices. Next time I'll try a daily special for slightly better pricing.

So first of all, it's super fun to have my kids eat out on the patio and there are waitresses that look like former "dancers" with their entire abdomens and chests hanging out with tattoos all over them. Classy!! The drink menu has no prices on it whatsoever, how convenient. I ordered an espresso martini that wasn't even in a real martini glass and it was about 2 inches high and I get the bill and it is $16.40!!! I bring this up to the hearty blonde waitress to which she replies, "What do you expect? You didn't pay a cover." Lol lol What great customer service. You mean a cover for the guy who's playing along with the karaoke machine?

Incredible live entertainment. An entire outside area, two stages (one inside, one outside)! The bartenders are rocking. The food is decent, but music is spot on!

Fun place. We came for the live band and to enjoy ourselves. Wasn't looking for the best food lol. Nachos were decent. A lot of small chips, like they empty at the bottom of the bag on my plate. Luck of the draw I guess. My wife ordered a fish feast but they ran out quickly, so she picked up fajitas. The martini tasted a bit watered down so I ordered beer instead. My wife enjoyed her Chardonnay. Band was great and the service was good. Come here late and have fun.

Wanted something light, something different, something I hadn't eaten in a long time. Was watching the band on their great outdoor patio last night and decided to try their calamari. This was cooked to buttery perfection and was nice and chewed, just the way its supposed to be !!

Came there with my friend because he was craving some stake and I was so disappointed that it was not what I was expecting. My medium well stake was raw and not seasoned at all, the sweet potato fries were good, quesadilla was alright and we also were waiting for a kids drink for too long, the server forgot to bring an apple juice until we were almost leaving. Queso and chips also were a little disappointing, felt like a Tostitos from a jar warmed up in a bowl.

My wife and I go to Tailgate frequently and we love the food. We love the staff. The pricing has gotten really out of control. It seems like portions have gotten smaller prices have gone up. I don't wanna stop going there, but it's getting super expensive to go for breakfast.

Food was good. Service was terrible. Jayna was terrible. We had to ask the bartender for menus, we had to ask the bartender where our server was, we also had to ask the bartender to boxes. She got an order wrong. We SAW her talking about us to another employee. I hate giving small businesses a bad review but they lost my business.

A great establishment in the center of downtown Parker, Tailgate is certainly a neighborhood favorite as it has been busy each time I have been there. The atmosphere is typical of a well kept local bar, but they do boast a large patio area, where they happened to have live music on one of our Saturday afternoon visits. The service is super friendly and attentive and each time we have visited made us feel welcomed. The food we have had has been very good as well and at a very decent price point. Servings were generous and hearty. TL:DR - A must stop in downtown Parker. Either for a bite or a drink

Right off the bat, first impression was meh. Service was rude. You seat yourself, but it's very unclear how ordering works. Our waitress was just blunt and didn't care UNTIL she spilled food all over me when she was collecting the plates when we were done eating. All I was offered was a wet rag to clean off the food. No discount or anything which I know isn't required, but it would've been nice considering she spilled a majority of leftover dark Chicago Italian beef dipping sauce on my clothes and jacket. Good thing I was wearing mostly dark colored clothes otherwise it would've been a whole outfit thrown in the trash on top of an already uncomfortable ride home. Food was okay. Not much flavor honestly. I got a quesadilla (10.99) with chicken (extra 3.99) but there wasn't that much chicken in it. I also asked for the jalapeños on the side but that went ignored. I just ate it anyway since I was hungry and no one even came near us to check on us until we were done anyway. I definitely don't recommend this place honestly. My overall experience and food was probably one of the worst I've ever had :( there's many other restaurants nearby that I'd rather go to and try and I plan on going to those instead.

Sunday brunch was fun, there was awesome live music on the back patio and a two for one deal on breakfast cocktails. The mimosa pitcher was delicious. We waited about 35 minutes for food, they were slammed. The pancakes were good but the breakfast burrito had no flavor. It was filled with flavorless eggs and flavorless potatoes, thats it. Topped with the tiniest bit of green chili on top and just wouldn't ever order that again. It's a three for the ambiance being really nice but slow service and below average food.

We love coming here for brunch and to watch football when we're in town. We had the steak and eggs on Sunday and they were perfectly prepared. Fast service, we never feel rushed. Highly recommend.

The boys and I stopped in for a drink after experiencing the Parker Car Show, to a packed house at the Tailgate. Course, we weren't the only ones with that idea, so both the interior and outdoor patio were almost entirely full. Luckily, we snagged a sunny spot on the patio with a view of Main Street and the live band getting set up! A server approached us to take our drink order - waters with a side of morning cocktails! On weekends, Tailgate offers buy-1-get-1 mimosas, screwdrivers or bloody's which we eagerly ordered. Bloody for one and screwdrivers (one subbing for Grapefruit juice) for two! When these drinks came out in mini pitchers, I was shocked and excited! However, I'll admit, they were extremely watered down and all of us actually had a hard time finishing them due to the liquor to juice ratio. We stayed for less than 40 minutes before we were on our way - leaving underwhelmed. With the insane crowd and lackluster cocktails, I'm not keen on returning anytime soon but would be willing to try them again when in the area.

The burgers are good and they have a decent happy hour. BUT, they're big MAGA so, unfortunately, we will not be going back. Vote with your wallets!

This place has different bingo games all the time and is open later than some of the surrounding locations, so it gets a bit of a resurgence if you're there late enough. They have some standard beers on tap and do some special drinks. I haven't tried the food, but the Reuben was given awesome feedback.

Such good service all the way around- the manager came over and welcomed us in and the bartenders were all so nice! If you're looking to drink on a patio in the sun with live music this is the place! If we lived in Parker this would be a go-to bar

I have been here a few times typically before an event at O'Brien park. This particular time we were getting our carb on before a beer festival and needed to eat beforehand. We had arrived at 11:30 to grab some lunch and were told that we couldn't order lunch until noon even thought the breakfast menu said across the top that breakfast ended at 11:30am. So we waited, ordered some drinks and watched some Olympics. Once noon came around we ordered our food. Then told it would be a bit before it came out with the transition from breakfast to lunch. It did take a while. I am glad we weren't in a hurry because it did take quite some time before the food arrived. My husband got the Chicago Italian beef. The bread was hard and dry and the bowl of jus was small and wasn't enough for the sandwich so the sandwich was also dry. Maybe next time we can order it dipped and it wouldn't come out that way. I order the chicken fajitas. They came out sizzling. The chicken was tender and flavorful and it was tasted really good, however I would say it was a small portion sized. I typically don't finish a meal because the portions are so large but in this case I ate the whole plate and could have gone for more. Overall it was okay. I haven't had anything there that stands out to me as a great meal. Just good basic bar food. If you have had something amazing there, let me know so I can try that.

Hubby and I have been here a few times. We were told to try the fish and chips and were not disappointed. The cod is flown in fresh and whole. The kitchen filets the cod in house. The clam chowder is also made in house. I will have to say the best clam chowder and fish we've had. This is only served on Fridays. Friendly staff, clean restrooms and cozy.

Dogs. Dogs at people's tables on the patio. Fighting. Completly unacceptable. We can't eat somewhere that allows dogs where people are eating. Even if it's an out door space. Dog deficate and urinate when they're outside and this isan outdoor section of a restaurant. Not cool Tailgate. Not cool at all.

Cozy was an amazing waitress if it's your first time make sure you let them know. Amazing service and so kind. Sal came here due to a friend recommending the food especially the burgers and wings and on Wednesday their 1/2 off. They have daily specials and live music all the time. First time here, but might be the only time. Food was decent. I got the Tailgate Gyro. The pita bread and gyro was a bit overbaked and overcooked. Tzaziki sauce was fresh at least. The atmosphere was weird, I didn't expect people to be playing poker inside. You sat yourself so it might be a bit of a hassle whenever dinner hours come by. The service was eh. The lady didn't really smile at all or really acknowledged us after taking our order, even spilled food on us after trying to take our plates away. Lowkey should not have tipped 20%, but of course after you pay it automatically shows you to tip 20%, 25%, or 30% so you're awkwardly forced to choose one if you don't want to feel like an asshole. Overall, not impressed.

Will never set foot in this place again. I will be sure to tell all my friends about charging more when there is a band playing.To cheap to pay for there own band. What a rip off.

I really enjoyed this place! Live band, servers were super friendly, the food was delicious!! I got a buffalo chicken wrap and it was SO good! The only thing I would change is I wish the wrap was wrapped better, but it was still delicious!! If I'm in the area again I'll be back!

It's hard to find a bar with restaurant quality food, good specials, great music, and excellent service. If you want those things, this is your place. Two for one morning drinks, daily food specials, and two stages for live music will keep you coming back!

I have worked at the Tailgate Tavern for about 7 years now. It is the best restaurant I have ever worked for. The staff and our regulars are like family. Not only is the food quality great but the daily specials are fantastic. There is live music, karaoke, brunch, dancing, and the list goes on. Tailgate has been around as long as it has because our owners take pride in listening to what the customers want and providing just that! Come down and see us!

The band was great, so I understand the cost to pay them, but drinks are almost double the cost of anywhere else. Server rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a full receipt. I was with a table of 10 and there was no breakdown of charges, I wasn't sure whose bill I paid

Horrible experience today. Ordered breakfast for 2 and it took fooorever. The chicken fried steak was as hard as a rock, could barely cut it. The biscuit was terrible, did not eat it. Waitress did not bother to refill drinks until we asked for the bill. Too little too late. She would disappear and could not be found.

It's great for what it is - divey, road house atmosphere with live music, relatively inexpensive bar eats and drinks, salty/sweet bar and cocktail staff. It's a fun place to hang out on a Friday night or a Sunday morning.

We've been loyal customers of Tailgate for 10+ years and have absolutely loved it and have spent a lot of money here over the years. However, on 5/12 seven of us regulars went at 4:00 in the afternoon to enjoy a nice hot spring afternoon. We went to the patio and there were 8+ tables empty but all of them on the main patio were in full sun and the cheapy umbrellas wouldn't tilt so after a day in the sun we wanted to sit in the shade. There were a bunch of tables on the east side of the stage in the shade and all were empty. We asked if we could sit at the tables in the shade and were told (rather rudely) by a blond lady who apparently is the server "manager" that the entire east side of the stage was closed. I guess they are short of staff but that seems to be a management issue that should be fixed. I understand the Tailgate has changed management but the new management staff better learn quickly that customer service is what will keep your loyal customer loyal. We supported the Tailgate during COVID and year around so you would think the current management would realize customer service maybe be of at least somewhat important to their success.

Great place to grab lunch. I had the fish and chips and thought they were really good-- shame they are only available on Fridays. I've come on other days for the burgers and they were also very good.

just left this establishment due to the deafening bad music. Service was poor and ordering chips/salsa and an Irish mule cost me 24.00 with 4 dollar tip. WHAT???? I've been going here for years and has steadily gone down hill. Do Not Recommend!!! 2 stars

This place was recommended to me. I found myself there on a Wednesday around 4pm. Well, thank goodness. It was happy hour and there was a special on wings. Lo and behold, they were superb, I mean totally tasty and perfectly cooked. My server, Peyton, was friendly, very nice and very professional! There is an upper and lower part with a step in between, be careful. But I liked this place a lot and felt very comfortable! Kudos to the manager for a well run venue!

The music that the have playing inside and outside of the tavern is always great and amazing to watch. The drinks, the food, service, live music, and atmosphere makes this tavern a go-to place if you are looking for a good time on a date or group of friends.

First let me say, it's a Tavern & grill so I am reviewing it as such! It checks all the boxes you need to meet that label! The food is consistent, cooked on the grill they have probably had since it opened so it's seasoned! The service is great! We love Michele as our server, whether behind the bar or at our table! Wish I could remember the redheads, bearded guys name, (MATT) he's great too! They have a stage for bands & karaoke, , TV's for sports watching and a huge patio with umbrellas and heaters! Breakfast is good, lunch and dinner are a bit of a surprise...come check it out!

Sound patio, Check. Service good, check. Food, Reuben dry dry dry.. how do you mess this up with such a simple recipe? Do I need to go to the kitchen each time with instructions? Give me a break.. I really don't want to go to the kitchen to slap somebody's sideways. You can't do this. Step up.

Had lunch here today food as always was good but the attitude displayed by our server was not something anyone should experience.. We ate outside which is always great when the sun is shining. Our server seemed angry tired? and was complaining about Parker Days and how it fu&$ed up the entire weekend and how on Saturday the #NOKINGS rally along Parker Road really affected business with " five f&$ing old ladies " holding up signs so people did not come to the event. As a woman who is by any measure old this was not only offensive but had no place in a restaurant. Your restaurant is normally a place that is pleasant and we love the burgers but one server can make a difference and she certainly did. Please speak to your staff re being aware of their audience and using inappropriate language. I attended Parker Days and can tell you if business was down it was not due to the Rally on Parker Road but servers like ours will not improve it.

Came here to enjoy some music on the patio with some friends. The place is much bigger than it looks from the outside. It's your pretty standard watering hole with a food menu, inside & outside stages for music and friendly staff. They did get busy and seems like there were a lot of regulars.

Cozie and Sal the general manager are so authentic and truly hospitable ppl. This place goes above and beyond to welcome new customers which is by far one of the most amazing qualities. The Texas dirty martinis are delicious. The wings were so yummy and can't wait to make this my regular spot, with all the great hospitality and music it's a must stop shop

Service was excellent and love the porch seating area. Are kind of dark inside and sitting outside made it pleasant. Did not understand the breakfast menu and you could not get anything till noon on the regular menu. Had to wait 20 minutes just to get lunch..

Horrible Service !!! Waitress has so much attitude, pathetic. Couldn't care less as to weather we had what we needed. Only interested in talking at the bar. Wouldn't take a child in to this restaurant. Find another place to eat.
